This place is awesome! The jingle ACE is the place for the helpful Hardware Man is right! Ths staff here is amazing and very friendly and helpful! The place is BIG and has a lot of useful stuff! Prices maybe a tad higher than Home Depot but Id rather give the money to the local guy! (There isnt a Home Depot or Loews in Butte anyway).

We went into the Butte Ace Hardware store this AM, looking for 2 things: a new mower and chain for our chainsaw.David was the rep who helped us. He custom made our chain and walked us through the lawn mower selection. He made sure that we knew exactly how to use the mower and filled it with gas and oil.While we were waiting for David to cut the chain, we were greeted by each staff member who came by. We were also asked by most if we needed assistance.What a wonderful experience to be taken care of so well!Thank you, Butte Ace and David!

RV parts and camping supplies this is a RV travellers resupply center. Clean, organized and well stocked with an expertly staffed help counter right in the middle of the store. Awesome, we like it!

Dear Readers,The customer service at the Butte Ace Hardware is horrible: The managers dont resolve your complaints.My experience: I bought a Box fan and asked if I could return the product if my wife and I werent satisfied with it. After a weeks normal use, we found out that the fan didnt have a weather guard for window use, so I called to ask if there would be any problems returning the fan. The customer service rep. stated that there would be no problem with returning the fan; however, when we went down to the Ace Hardware to return the product, they found every reason not to refund the money: The box fan wasnt clean enough or this or that: It had some normal use dirt that could easily be wiped down.I wouldnt recommend shopping at the locally operated Ave Hardware, which is individually owned, nor would I recommend the service across all tiers from management to sales associate.Save yourself some trouble and just go to Walmart, where they honor returns, and they ironically, have better service, which is saying a lot.Take Care,

Yesterday I went into Ace to looking for paint to refinish a desk. I interacted with 2 ladies and a gentleman in the paint department and all 3 were an absolute joy to be around. I asked a couple questions and when the 2 ladies didnt know the best answer they referred me to the guy. I thought that was a genuinely honest response and I appreciated it because they want my project to be successful and not just guess at what might work. After talking with the guy, he took special interest in my project, showed me some ideas to make it more successful and made sure I had everything I needed before leaving the store so I wouldnt have to come back mid project. I honestly have never had a noteworthy experience in a hardware store but this was different. I wanted to thank all 3 wonderful employees who helped me out yesterday in the paint department. Thank you so much for your time, honesty and expertise! You guys are the best!

Ace is the place! When I was on one of my wierd home projects, and needed some parts for a lamp, they were the only ones who took the time to help me find what I needed. The gentleman and I spent almost an hour finding what I needed on my whimsical project. The piece was less than $ 3. That is customer service! I tip my hat to Butte Ace Hardware!

Decent selection. Front counter service is normally good; however, it normally feels like you are an inconvenience to the floor employees.

Great staff they call and welcome me by name. The girl outside went inside and got me a buggy for my shopping since i forgot to get one. Always great place friendly staff and clean store. The credit card machine was down and you needed cash or to wait for a portable card reader.

This is a new store. Parking is plentiful, the store is spacious and well laid out, and the staff is very helpful and professional. I highly recommend this Ace Hardware store.

This is THE WORST HARDWARE STORE IN AMERICA! The rudest staff that cusses at customers, refuses to help, an assistant Mgr. that has no business interacting with humans! SHAME ON ACE HARDWARE CORPORATE FOR HAVING A STORE LIKE THIS. Go to the True Valu in Butte instead, much better organized & you will be treated like a real human being there instead of being attacked.

Easy parking. Friendly. Prices still more expensive than Walmart. But it all depends on what you need.

I like this Ace Hardware. The staff is nice and funny. Its clean. If they run out of a product, staff will help you get it ordered to the store. Also I have spent hours looking at plumbing equipment here and so I feel like i can fairly say this is the best place to waste an hour.

The staff at check out are great but the lady manager is short, sharp with you if dont tell here what you need immediately and didnt maintain social distancing.

I go to this ace for the service department and the tech that works there Tim. He is by far one of the most helpful tech I have ever had the pleasure of working with. He is Stihl gold certified with one of the highest passing scores in the state of MT. I would highly recommend him for any chainsaw work you need.

Ace hardware is in my neighborhood and very accessible. Even though they dont carry a lot of the big stuff needed to build a house, they have met all my other needs that it takes including my lawn care needs.
