After my refrigerator failed in 90 degree temps on a Sunday evening, I was lucky enough to find the model I wanted, IN STOCK at VanDries, and they could deliver it in two days! Shelly Hamblin is my sales associate. She was so helpful and went the extra distance to look into the model I wanted as I didnt see it on the sales floor. She had two in the warehouse; without her checking my model number, I would have left empty-handed. She showed me realistic savings comparisons of Energy Star and the non-certified model, and she made the paperwork simple. Shes just great to work with. I called 3 weeks later to purchase the extended warranty, and she had the paperwork prepared and waiting for me at the cashiers desk that afternoon. Additionally, shes friendly, professional and personable. No high pressure approach, which I appreciate.The delivery staff, Darren and Doug, were super. I noticed their communication as they maneuvered the stairs up into the house, the last one being higher. Also, it didnt go unnoticed when one of them intentionally placed his hand on the bottom corner of my new fridge when rounding a corner in order to avoid denting either the refrigerator or my wall! Really liked the Track a Truck feature on the website so I had a pretty precise time of delivery.My experience with VanDrie from the beginning has been very smooth. Im hoping I dont require service, but if I do, its nice to know they are my point of contact in coordinating it. Thanks Shelly for your help! I was extremely impressed with Courtney Arnold. She helped me for quite awhile. She came up with amazing ideas, which I used. It was an odd ball situation but she sailed right through it with great customer service. She was open and honest! Was going to buy a sofa & chairs with cash. The blonde lady said delivery is $85.00. I asked if she could lower any prices to help offset price of delivery. All she did was whine about how hard people work. She wasnt willing to even try to make a sale. Never been treated so bad anywhere. Screw you guys never again will I go to your stores.

First of all, we came in with my mom using her walker and when we entered the store she was thrilled that there was a wheelchair available for her to use. There was a handicap restroom as well. Our salesperson was amazing! Janice said she was new to her job. We would have never guessed it. We were amazed at how knowledgeable she was about any and every topic we asked questions about, and we asked a ton of questions! She was very patient and kind. It was my mom in a wheelchair, my dad and I and his handicapped dog in a stroller she was dealing with! We purchased a lift chair, a sofa and a recliner. We’re going from a large home to a two bedroom apartment so my mom was making emotional decisions as well. My mom insisted on coming to VanDrie as they’ve always been treated with respect and given fair pricing. It was a long day for all because we came from Ludington, but we’re glad we did!

I purchased a sofa, tables, and an entertainment center July 31 and was able to take all but the sofa with me. I was told the sofa would arrive in 30 days and declined delivery service; we have a truck and open trailer to pick it up. After several phone calls which I had to make and also store visits I finally received the sofa mid December (almost 5 months!). I had also purchased chairs early September which arrived prior to the sofa. I had requested free delivery because of now having winter weather and wouldnt want to bring home in an open trailer. The saleswoman led me to believe I would not be charged D/T the circumstances. When she called to finally tell me the sofa was in she stated she couldnt do anything about the delivery.I understand the delay on my furniture was out of their control D/T COVID, however, they never phoned me and then refused to pay the $79.50 for delivery. They have lost any future sales from me (carpeting and bedroom furniture).

I bought a 3 piece furniture set in August of 2020. It arrived February of 2021. They brought me the wrong furniture. They brought a brown/gray set and I ordered blue. It was a very unique beautiful shade of blue. My mother and I were going on and on and on to the salesman about the color, it was the SOLE REASON I ordered it. And I know he (salesman) remembers. Now they wont refund the warranty which is the fabric spray they put on it to protect it. And they were going to resell it to someone else and charge them for the spray thats already on it. The salesman and manager then told me that I just dont remember what I ordered. Im a 44 year old hair dresser and I KNOW MY COLORS. So insulting. I even went out and purchased other items for my house that would match the new furniture. Im redoing my entire house and was going to purchase new furniture for every room. I will never shop there again and I will be certain to spread the word of what they have done to me. The delivery people told me that it was taking so long to get furniture in because of covid and they were having a hard time getting fabric. So my best guess is they couldnt get the blue fabric anymore so they switched to the brown/gray color. Seems to be the logical explanation. Im considering taking them to court. Its not even about the money anymore. Its the lying and the way I was treated. I was very patient with how long it took to come in but for them to act like Im stupid is unexceptable. I KNOW what I ordered. I wouldnt even have stopped and looked at the brown oneI hate brown. Never EVER would have ordered that color, theres nothing brown in my house! I dont even wear brown. So, Beware. This is a bait and switch if Ive ever seen one. And I wonder how many others theyve done this to. I even emailed the owner and got no response. They essentially stole my money.

Getting a warranty from VanDrie is totally worth it. I was having problems with my washing machine and they sent a technician, Scott, the next day. Scott was very knowledgable. He was very kind, patiently answered all my questions. Scott is a very good representative of what VanDrie is all about- unconditional customer service. Scott is phenomenal.

We ordered a couch and chairs from VanDrie 12 weeks ago now, and were told our couch would be delivered in October. It is now the end of November, and there is no sign of any of the furniture we already paid for, and no estimate for when we can expect it.Update: We have now received our couch approx. 14 weeks after ordering, and we do love it! We are waiting on chairs which have also been delayed, but we expected that. The reason my review is still three stars is that through all the delays, and even when the couch arrived, VanDrie never contacted us once. Every time we had to call them to get an update, to find out when it arrived, and to schedule a delivery time. We are happy with the couch now that its here, but the communication, given all the delays, left a lot to be desired.

Shopping for a dishwasher. Amazing sales staff. They are up front and honest. Have comparison shopped many times for items I wish to purchase and always end up at VanDrie due to the extra care they take with thier customers.

I had already gotten some information from the Big Rapids store so had a good idea for what I was looking. I looked online, then called the store. The salesperson Shelly was excellent. She walked me through the process of getting financing for a new washer, gave me more information to help me make a final decision on which washer to purchase. When I got to the store she had everything all set to go so we were out of there within 15 minutes. I will definitely buy from them again.

Lets see my Aunt and Uncle have been a forever Customers of the store. We have also gone with my Aunt to help her get furniture from here. The rep that helped her was great. This time we had Jody who has been helpful. I understand that working thru the virus situation has caused problems. We ordered a new stove in May. It was a special order.🥺 then we had to switch it 3 times. So we finally gave up and went in the store and worked with our rep and got a different Cash and Carry Stove to go. While I waited for Jody to help us I was not impressed with the rest of the staff. I stood in the Clearence section and 5 different staff members walked past me with not as much as a hi. Or can I help you. I understand you maybe over worked but Customer service should still be important . This alone makes me rethink shopping here again.

No high pressure, & very knowledgeable about their products in terms of materials, and what would best meet our needs. She was patient & didn’t make us feel like we were a bother or just a sale. She cared & listened to my concerns & offered many options & recommendations that really made sense. We really thought she did a fantastic job! Definitely will work with her again & recommend her!

Weve dealt with vandries many times. Only one time did we ever feel unsatisfied. It was nearly closing time and while loading some furniture, the guys out back where munch less than friendly. However, we just had new furniture delivered a few days ago and the entire process was great! From the time we entered the store, to the sales lady we dealt with, right down to the delivery guys who, by the way, were awesome!

Customer service was the worst. Was told at time of sale my purchase would be there in 4 days. 5 weeks later still waiting. Today I was told the shipper sent it to the wrong location and it would be next week before it would be sent to Cadillac. All their locations are less than an hour away. Never again.

We were greeted and helped as soon as we entered the appliance department. Questions were answered. Delivery schedule was determined. Financing was also easy. Our fridge was delivered and set up today. We are happy with the entire experience.

Shelly provided me with all the information I needed and allowed me to pay with credit card. I received my new freezer in less than 24 hours, saving my food products. Great Service - I was a bit disappointed that I couldn’t just take my piece home due to the pandemic, but Michelle worked on finding me a piece I could get a bit sooner. She also went out of her way to take measurements and find prices on other pieces even when I was gone.

Our first visit to the store was great! We were looking for several mattresses and Kayla was very knowledgeable. The department had many samples and examples of the mattress interiors so we could see the differences. And we got a great deal. Well be back for other furniture as our remodel continues.

Sales staff friendly and helpful. However, be prepared to sit on the floor for 2 weeks waiting for a couch and chair to be delivered. The furniture is in stock at the store, but they only deliver at their convenience once they have your money.

In February 2018 I began working with Laura Hutchinson to select replacement floor covering for my living room, dining room, hallway and kitchen. In June 2018 the new laminate wood look floor covering was installed. Our family loves how it looks! From the beginning of the process, to measuring the space,and installation the whole VanDrie team was awesome! Outstanding does not come close to describing the wonderful service we received from Van Drie Home Furnishings. Beverly and Deborah went well beyond expectations to meet our unique flooring needs. They were not deterred by the initial challenge of the project and in the end we ended up with the quintessential lake decor. Their response and follow through made the experience a pleasure.

Bought a lazy boy chair that was a 🍋 have had many lazy boy chairs never had a problem. This one was not good . also had a problem with the lady that schedules repairs she was rude every time .manager said he didnt want to hear anything about his staff . so if you dont mind someone being rude to you . having problems getting furniture fixed and returned.this is the place to buy then. We had also purchased the extra warranty dont bother they still wouldnt replace the chair

Pricing was fair, however delivery was much to long so we picked up mattress and box springs ourselves. It is now less than 1 year that same mattress is sagging in the center by 1 1/4 inches and they will not stand behind their product until its 1 1/2 inches!!!! Good bye VanDries!!!!!

To be honest Vandie was our second choice on ordering furniture. We were afraid it would take too long since we needed to special order. We were wrong!!! It was quick and easy to get the furniture we needed in order to fit into out space. When delivery time came they we absolutely wonderful. They two guys who delivered went above and beyond to get our furniture delivered. Our space is very tight but they never gave up and managed to figure out a way to get it all in. Very kind, considerate and professional.
