Very helpful and really knows his stuff. He ordered a new screen for my Motorola One phone and everything went smooth. He even worked past closing time to finish up the repair so I didnt have to make a second trip to town. Reasonably priced too!

I needed 2 iPhone 7 batteries replaced and had been putting it off thinking I would be without my phone for half a day or more. It took him 20 minutes to replace them both-he was so fast! Great service and positive attitude! Very knowledgeable as well.

Our first visit and the owner was very pleasant, informative and helpful. He repaired the phone while we were there. He even checked the quality of the battery and said it was good. I would recommend him and his service to everyone.

Shop was dirty and smelled of cigarettes. Walked right back out after hearing the guy spin another customer about why he had their phone for so long. No thanks, to your offer to return. Why would I do that when I could tell you were lying to the customer you had in front of you? Id rather pay an extra $20 for someone that knows what they are doing. This guy is shady for sure.

My $1200 phone was dropped off in March 2020. I am yet to receive my phone AND this man cashed my check. DO NOT RECOMMEND this business. He has dodged my calls for 10 months!!

Great place to go for phone repair! My I-8 needed a new battery and charging port! Got both done for 135$ Inc installed! Im sure sure cheaper than an APPLE store, not to mention in GR and currently CLOSED! Like to do business with independents! Highly recommend this shop, on River Ave, off Mitchell....

Owner is a burnout. Store smells like cigarettes and he was definitely high. Im sure he has no technical training and probably learned how to repair phone screens on Youtube. Read the negative reviews because all the others are probably his friends.

Inexpensive.. polite (hard to find at a lot of businesses here in town..) this last time I had my screen fixed, the speaker wasnt wanting to work right. I called, he said stop in, 2 minutes after handing over my phone (at no extra cost).. BOOM.. working perfectly again!!Recommend Solo to anyone and everyone... will continue to take my bad luck with phones to him for sure. ☺️

Yikes! I dropped off my computer 6 weeks ago to have a charging port repaired and was told 3 to 5 days to fix. I called and stopped in several times to see how progress was going and was told new stories each time, at one point I was told that the charging port had a chip in it that was hard to match and another time I was told that they were having a 3-D printer make a part in California! None of that is true, of course. I picked up my still unfixed computer yesterday (with new deep scratches on the top cover), got a refund and had it fixed in about 2 minutes as I waited at another shop in town. Amazing. Solo store is dirty, smells like stale cigarette smoke and has a never-ending assortment of employees rotating through, making follow-up communication very difficult. Sadly, I dont recommend this place if you value your time and phone or computer.

They do an excellent job fixing screens. I refer my clients to them when asked about phone repair. If your going to have a screen replaced, make sure you take it to someone who replaces screens every day. Not your cousin who thinks he can repair it.

Had my phone for a month and still couldnt fix it. Never called one time to communicate what the problems were. I stopped by once a week to check on it with no information supplied other than Shipping out was late and I ordered the wrong part the first time. Clerical order. Im out a month and my phone still doesnt work.And this is the place that Verizon recommend?

Definataly do not recommend, i dropped my phone off 3 weeks before panademic, was told would be done next day, went to check then told would have to waitt longer becouse of shipping problems. Week later told me the part arrived but he wouldnt have until next day. This went on..on an everyday basis for four more weeks then a complete shut down becouse of stay home order. It hasnow been 3 months will not answer my phone calls, has my 1200 doller phone plu 200 to fix and i cant get a hold of him. He is a theif and a crook and i intend on.pressing charges when everything reopens. Stay Away!!!

Update: I need to revise to previous review. I will admit that I jumped the gun, and left a hasty review. I didnt contact solo when I experienced my issue. As you can see that they contacted me, and they were very professional and were more then willing to fix the problem that may not even have been caused by them. They get a very strong 5 star, and I WILL take my other devices there in the future.Had my phone screen fixed and there are no complaints there. Before I took my phone in my battery was perfectly fine, now the battery wont stay charged long at all. I can actually watch the battery percentage go down. I wont go back.

They helped me out of a very expensive problem! They were willing to stay late to fix the phone so I didnt have to go without! I will be a returning customer.

Phone was diagnosed within seconds and eventually fixed. Price was great!Was an issue with shipping so fix took way longer than I was told, not the businesses fault.Phone was returned with a cracked and broken back that was not cracked or broken when I took it in. At least itll be in a case I guess. Not sure why it was allowed to leave the store in the condition its now in but at least I have a working phone? Had the phone been much newer it would be a bigger issue.

Does great work. Very fair. Have taken a number of device to Tim for repair and he has been able to fix all of them. A number of them were repaired over a year ago and are still working great.

Dont go here, shady. Only wants cash, no invoice available? Come on, I wasnt born yesterday. He broke wire inside my phone replacing a battery.....never said a word to us.

If youre having phone issues, I highly recommend Solo Phone Repair. Ive had a cracked screen and also problems with a disabled iPhone. Tim did an excellent job helping me out both times. I felt like he wanted my devices fixed almost as much as I did because of the technical challenge...also, because hes just a nice guy. The stores atmosphere is warm and inviting...waiting area is nicely decorated. Our phones have become so important in our lives. When they break or, are not functioning properly...thats bad enough. Finding someone I trust to fix it is a step in the right direction...I trust Tim @ Solo Phone Repair.😆

The people seemed nice enough but after waiting for a month and a half for my phone to be repaired, I gave up and got a refund. Zero communication to me on updates the entire time. Everytime I called or went to the shop to ask about it Id only get a bunch of excuses

Ive had my old phone fixed here and its really cheap so i would highly reccommend this place to anyone who needs their phone fixed.

There terrible Ive had 2 different stories. 1 was they dont have the right tool cuz its to expensive and the other was you will have to put a case on the phone or get it fixed so u dont cut ur fingers on the back the back of the phone was NOT broke the screen was and we got it back with a broken back after paying $371 and now he wants to replace it which aint happening he went through my moms phone and opened messages to

Don’t go here..... I took my iPhone 7plus to get screen and digitizer replaced and I got it back and my back camera stopped working and I took it back to him he fixed that but now my phones speaker and microphone doesn’t work and sometimes it won’t charge and so now I cant call or nothing and he didn’t use any adhesive to put on new screen and then my mother in law took it in to get screen and digitizer replaced because she bought a screen and thought that was all that we needed but the new galaxy s9 plus can’t just replace screen because the digitizer and screen are a package and so she ordered that and then there was a light crack on the back glass on the phone before then once she got it back it was a huge cracks all over the back and he said they don’t have the proper tool and the proper tool is expensive( no it is.not! It’s pretty much a guitar pick and I’ve seen them use that tool before! So that’s a lie!) and the they said since there is more cracks all over the back glass of the phone and the guy said “ it happens because he dont have the right tool” which he does have it and he won’t won’t make it right by fixing it which as a professional phone repair store they won’t fix their mistake so I will recommend to everyone that can see this review and everyone I know do not go here! Waste gas to go somewhere else more reliable!Next part goes to the response from owner....We had gotten two different stories about not having proper tool and that’s why it broke and then also that u recommend getting i know fixed and putting a case on it and then the other story is you will do it for free... but honestly I feel almost like I should get my money back from getting screen fixed and also if I did take my phone in there I would like the issues I named about speaker, and microphone and actually my screen won’t black out when I got on phone to try calling like it used to

Repaired my broken lens on my phone camera and had a case for my phone to help protect it from further damage. Just wish it would have had that barrier to keep someone from swipe scamming
