If youre looking for a very basic gun range to shoot, then this place is for you. Very dated operation. They had a fire in the range last year and they still havent completely repaired the ceiling panels. They use binder clips to hold your target up. They also claim to offer a military discount on everything except gun purchases. But when I ask for it on ammo, their employees deny me. They say you can t trust whats posted on their website. Bait and switch operation against military members.

The staff are always amazingly friendly and helpful. Shawn Jurgeson the owner is also a super nice guy. Large gun, ammo, and accessories selection at competitive prices. The range is always clean and usually little wait time. If you run into “Rick” white male, mid 30’s, dark hair, clean shaven, with earrings, then just politely ask for someone else. He doesn’t depict the great attitude of the rest of the staff. Been coming here for years and will continue to do so. Love this place.

Fairly nice facility, not somewhere I would buy my firearms for limit stock and high prices but as far as range goes it is very nice. I would have given it 4 stars but the staff is unpleasant and fairly rude. Had a redhead male be very rude to myself and my party for ask questions and felt as if he considered myself stupid for asking, the others were unhelpful and seeming uninterested in their jobs. Probably going to find anther range next time.

Was referred to this company by Liberty Safe website. I ordered a Liberty gun safe. It took weeks for them to even acknowledge the order. I had to initiate contact with them on at least 5 occasions. Bill told me my safe would be delivered on a certain date, but never followed up. When I try calling the store, the number goes to voicemail during posted, normal, business hours. They dont even bother to call you back. The only thing they did do, was to charge my credit card for $1700. Buyer beware. I will be contacting Liberty as well. These guys obviously dont care much about customer service.

This place is best gun range Ive been to in the area out of 5 or 6 Ive tried out. Main reason is the entire staff is extremely knowledgeable and courteous to you and actually teach you things while your in there. I always recommend seeing Bill Cazier for any info or recommendations. He has alot of knowledge and offers suggestions, as well as, makes the overall experience worth while! Great selection of guns and accessories. Had the gunsmith go through a couple of my guns that had been sitting and he did an amazing job! Hands down best place to go when you have any questions on guns/ammo or want to get some range time in.

Highly recommend them! They sat and educated me with different types of guns and which ones they recommended for women to carry everyday. They did not talk down to me like some gun stores will do to women. I will definitely be returning in the future!

The range is well-maintained, and it is SO well-ventilated that I havent had problems cleaning my breathing tubes after a session. Its also got the best climate control Ive experienced in a range.They are a fairly-priced FFL dealer, which has made transfers a piece of cake. Their assortment of reloading equipment and supplies is the best I have seen locally, by far.I have always gotten good customer service, particularly with the selection of a CC holster for my Browning Hi Power. This is our go-to place for range day.

Do NOT go here!! This place was not impressive at all. The gun selection is very poor. The employees are very rude not understanding or wanting to help at all. The shooting range has extremely poor ventilation, no markings on distance, paper clips to hold your targets that are not straight. Lane walls are short and the other shooters shells come over and hit you. They hold your license and make you sign in when you want a lane but never remember to give it back after your done you have ask for it back.I would go right down the street not even a 1/4 mile to Big Wood Goods every time. I would never come back to this place again trust me I’m not the only one. Read all the one star reviews. This place is not professional and customer service is the last thing on there list. SAFETY, AIR QUALITY AND RUDE is not on there either.

Got my graphics for my 9 mm shield easy just put it on so easy to do was kind of scared at first but the pre-cut made it quite easy would recommend this to anybody look how nice my gun looks

Customer service left a lot to be desired, very knowledgeable staff but also tended to be arrogant. We waited for over 45 minutes to be helped then after being sold multiple accessories were told to wait in line to checkout which seemed to be the normal operating procedure, however the gentleman who was sold accessories right after us was walked to a different counter for immediate checkout. We decided to shop elsewhere even though we had previously purchased a rifle here to support the local economy. Will be looking to support a more customer driven establishment in the future.

If you are looking for a no frills range to shoot nearly any caliber you want (minus 50BMG) then look no further. The range has 1 button to make the target come to you and to set it out, not confusing at all for newbies. It’s well ventilated and they keep it nice and cool. Is it super modern? No. Is it a beautiful range? Well, no. If you want a place to shoot that won’t break the bank with helpful staff then it’s all right here.

Pretty sweet place. 10 Lanes on range. Knowledgeable staff, clean facility. Only complaint is that I wish there was a purse hook in ladies restroom. Such a pain to not have one.

Ive purchased a few guns here and i love the staff and stock supply of parts and accessories for all types of guns and gear. Prices are alittle high for the area, but good service makes up for that.

I have been to several area gun ranges and this is the best. They are attentive, professional and knowledgeable. Their systems are straightforward and clear and they have regular events that educate the community on gun safety. I really appreciate their Thursday, ladies day where we can go and utilize the range for free all day.

Stopped in looking for a vertical grip. There were no black ones in stock. They looked for one in the back and found one on the spare parts bin. Greatly appreciated and will forever have my business.

Pretty good range. People at counter could be a bit more friendly. The lanes are too close together and hot shells fly over and hit you in face and me in the head. Other than that no complaints. Every business has room for improvement, that is why reviews exist.

I went there to get a handgun for home protection before doing my research. After I got home I looked up what I got. They sold me the absolute best and best deal on the handgun and ammo, under list price. These are great people and explained everything I need to know about how to use the gun. If you live in driving distance, you are doing yourself a huge favor if you go there to get your firearms. You well get the best products for the lowest prices and be educated if needed.

I read a few posts on here that people here were rude, range was bad and other little things. I wonder what are these peoples issues really? I have went in 4 times in the past 6 months and everything was great. The 4th time however, there was little to no guns... This is more then likely due to all the Liberal-Bias Media hyping up a virus, so people went into protection mode. I do not blame the store for that at all. Great store, good people, no issues!

Came to Ga to visit family and was searching for a Dillon Precision dealer nearby, HI-Calibler was only 30 mins away. They had good prices, and a nice selection, very friendly staff and they made you feel welcome. I liked it so much I went twice, my wife loved it too.

The people here are very professional and knowledgeable about the product and services the sell and provide. They also know how to have a good time and make it seem like they are just a bunch of friends doing what they love instead of a 9-5 job. If you’re looking for firearms, knives, ammunition, clothing, yeti, hell even coffee ( black rifle coffee that is) hi-caliber is the store for you.

Buddy of mine and myself went here recently to shoot both rifle and handgun. The staff was very accommodating and even gave us a LE discount (which is totally not asked for and much appreciated). I was impressed with the rest of the store as well as they have a large number of firearms for sale from brand new to used at competitive prices. They also have plenty of ammunition and other firearms accessories for sale. Something I thought was interesting though was that they have reloaded ammo and the tools to reload your own if you desire. As for the range, they use AR 500 steel to absorb rounds rated up to (but not including) .50 cal. They have 10 lanes and plenty of room to move around within. My only issues with the range itself were: 1. it seemed to get saturated with smoke from all the rounds we were burning through (though this could just be a ventilation issue). It wasnt so thick you couldnt see, just noticeable. 2. the target hangups (black metal binder clips) had been shot off on a few of the lanes making it impossible to hang up your target. (this is not their fault - people just suck at shooting!). Overall, it was a great experience with friendly staff and Im sure my friend and I will be back in the future to shoot and/or buy from Hi-Caliber again. I made my fourth visit to Hi Caliber today and absolutely had a great time. My friend and I shot on the range for about an hour and really enjoyed our experience. The range is good and a very good value. But what has impressed me is the great staff they have working at this store. Everyone is friendly, EXTREMELY knowledgeable, and very willing to help and answer any questions. This place is a top notch range and gun store.

Since they opened, I have been a GREAT customer and have spent a small fortune at this store. I would hate to admit just how many guns I have purchased from Hi Caliber but I would venture to say there are few that have bought more from them. Today I decided to get a jump on some Christmas shopping and pick up a 10/22 for my son. After paying I asked about the range pass. I was told that Sean (the owner) had discontinued giving a free range pass with gun purchase a couple months ago. I would not have made the purchase if I had known this. Hi Caliber is not known for low prices. Cherokee Pawn has the same rifle for $20 cheaper. I dont understand Seans business model. Both Big Woods and GA firing line give free range time with gun purchase and often at better prices. Also with a gun show in the area at least twice a month, there is no shortage of opportunities to find competitive pricing. I am pretty sure I just purchased my last gun from Hi Caliber.Sean, do you read these reviews?

My new favorite range! The staff was awesome, and very friendly. As a woman and an avid shooter Ive had a hard time finding a range where I feel like Im treated fairly. Felt very comfortable here! This range has no silly rules and add on fees. The range was well ventilated and cool. Another thing I like about this place is that the range isnt behind a big glass window where everybody else is watching you (unlike a place in Smyrna).. Will be coming back and sending many folks that way!

Great place for responsible shooters. My husband was able to teach our family members who were visiting. They loved the experience, even though we arrived at almost seven pm they let us in. We only used one gun to make sure everyone was safe. I would recommend this place, but I worried about safety.

I dont know where the negative reviews are coming from. Yes, its not a huge store like Adventure Outdoor, and yes its small even by comparison to the nearby Big Woods Goods. However, the staff is extremely knowledgeable and they take their time with each customer. If youre polite and wait youll appreciate the attention youll receive when its your turn. The prices are reasonable and their selection is pretty darn good considering the size of the place. The range could use some upgrades, especially in the ventilation department but its a bargain.

Awesome place. I used a livingsocial coupon to get 2 targets, a box of ammo, handgun rental, eyes and ears for 2 for $30. On top of that the range time is for all day. I used this to teach my son how to shoot for his birthday. We spent 3 hours on the range and had a blast. The Staff was great they even offered pointers for my son to help his shooting. I highly recommend this place.

Best ever experience in a fire arms store! The employees were extremely friendly and made me feel completely comfortable while looking at different options for a personal fire arm. They seem extremely competent and knowledgeable about the fire arms and also in reloading in which we were interested. Wouldnt go anywhere else now that Ive been to Hi Caliber several times!!!!!!

Arrangements had been made by another party for them to transfer a firearm to me out of state. Delivery date was established, but delivery was not made. I called Hi Caliber and was told it was still at their location. After 5 days, it had never been picked up from the dealership, and no one at Hi Caliber had followed up to correct the situation. I wonder how long it would have continued to set there if I had not contacted them. Considering that they charge the highest fee that I have ever seen for a firearm transfer, it is apparent that there is no appropriate relationship between fee for service and professional competence.

Very happy with Hi Caliber! We went in to browse the selection and ending up talking to one of the guys who also holds shooting classes there. We got his information and set up a class with him the next week. The class was very thorough (3+ hours) and we felt confident after leaving. We will definitely be back for another class!Other than that, weve found that Hi Caliber consistently has the lowest gun prices (I cant speak for ammo or other accessories). We know which gun were getting next & were just waiting for the store to have it in stock again soon!

The ventilation system in this place is almost non-existent..there was a huge gun powder cloud that covered the entire shooting area that just hovered there. The powder residue the we were breathing even left a black coating in our noses, so PLEASE blow your nose when you leave...felt like we had cancer when we left...go here at your own risk...I never will again and I cant imagine exposing your customers to that...SHAME ON YOU!!!

Went in this past weekend to purchase a Sig P365 after calling ahead to confirm they had one in stock. John and John(aka the 2 Johns lol) were extremely helpful and friendly. Not even the slightest hint of that stereotypical arrogance or condescension that we all have seen displayed by the staff at too many other gun stores. Really I cant say enough about my experience with John and John. As far as the store itself it was also really nice. Clean, aesthetically pleasing and more importantly great inventory/selection of firearms ammo and all the accessories you could ask for. I also used the range to test out my new Sig and found it to be more than adequate as well. I live in Milton/Alpharetta and I can honestly say I will be making the drive over to give them my business going forward. Thanks again to John and John for your help guys!

I come from an hour and a half south, a land of big box stores and lackluster pawn shops. While visiting the area, I had quite some time to waste. So, I typed in Google; Gun stores. I hit the first 3 that came up and while all 3 were really diverse and very well stocked, fate would save (in my opinion) the best for last. The first words I heard through the door were; Welcome home brother, make yourself comfortable! It was in this moment I knew, this will more than likely be my gun store. Incredible staff, of the few I met and never rushed nor made to feel like a bother. Hi-Caliber, showed me that not only are they a premium dealer but the name on the front of the building means something to their staff and extends far beyond just their selection.

My wife and I went shooting there for the first time. Great range I asked one of the employees about a speed loader, he took it out of the package show how easy it was to use. I bought it . Great place to shoot.

Been to the shop lots. Used the range twice. Long wait, zero ventilation, holes in the bullet stop you can see daylight through. Non working gear in the range. Small selection. Its great if you want to do something stupid since they dont care about the range. Some of the employees are stereotypical gun jerks. Not the right place for first time shooters. Strong good ol boy vibe. If you arent local law enforcement you might not like it.

Ive been to Hi Caliber several times, and each time has left me asking myself why do I keep giving these folks another chance? One time, I was in their firing range close to closing time. It was me and a friend on one lane and some guy and his girlfriend on another. When closing time came, a staff member opened the outer and inner doors to the range and signaled to me and my friend that it was time to leave. No problem, its time and we had been watching the clock. The other guy with his girlfriend must not have been watching the clock and didnt notice the staff member open the doors to the range either. The guy shot off his AR and the staff member about lost his mind. He started yelling and cursing at the guy for not realizing what time it was and that the door was open. I can see both sides of it, but man..if you want to avoid a poor customer experience, walk over to folks and let them know that youre closing rather than just opening the door and waving your finger.The most recent visit, I was looking for firearms parts. They had them, and I found what I needed, but the comments from the guy at the counter about you should paint your parts bright orange so you dont lose them all the time really rubbed me the wrong way. I was buying parts for a firearm that I had just traded for that didnt come with the part that I came in to buy. Further, I have never had to buy replacement parts before...do I look familiar or something? Maybe it was the way the guy said it...it wasnt said like a funny comment, it was condescending.Another time I was in there looking for some magpul accessories and couldnt find what I needed on the display. When I asked the guy behind the counter, he seemed irritated that I bothered him with the question, pointed to the display and said if you cant find it over there, it means we dont have it. Fair enough, but did you have to give me attitude about it? I must have looked a little ticked because he then followed up with we can order what you want though. No thanks man...Im done. I ordered on Amazon from the parking lot. (which stinks, because Id rather support local)In general, the staff seems pretentious. If this was a one-time thing, I would understand...but this is every time I have been in the store! Customer service needs to be a topic at every staff meeting. There are better options out there - one of which is within walking distance of this place. Go there.

I get night sights put on my gun..... they put them on so sloppy! Then when they “fix” it it’s worse. I go to Big woods goods next door to get it done right! I will never go back to this Sub par gun store. Their selection is not impressive and their expertise is nonexistent. Stay away from this gaggle of idiots!!!!

Friend of mine purchased a Glock 43... brought it back to have trijicon sights put it. The old gentleman decided on his own to refund her money because he ASSUMED she was buying it for someone else.. what type of shop are you running when the staff makes decisions like this?. No phone call, and had to come down there to find out. We had a gun range pass to shoot any time. We will never be back. $600 sale plus a ton of ammo that was purchased and this is how you treat customers? Will never be back. Too many other ranges that treat customers much better, especially the range next door. You have lost our business.

I finally got a chance to swing by Hi Caliber to check for .22LR. They have it and arent gouging on prices (like a certain large dealer in Smyrna does). While making my purchase, the staff was friendly and engaging and answered all questions I had promptly.I returned to Hi Calber a few days later to try their shooting range. Fees are low and allow for all day shooting. Range is climate controlled and vented. It is clean and well maintained.The selection of firearms was interesting. They had everything from a Colt Python to a Ruger 10/22 (and are willing to let you check them all out). The ammo selection is decent (given the current shortage). Selection of other accessories was great.

Employees seem to lack any interest in helping customers and have attitudes

Staff knew NOTHING about Georgia gun law. Drove all the way out here after specifically asking questions and they said everything was okay. After arriving they turned us away and said we couldnt shoot, even though hours earlier we called specifically to make sure what we had in question was okay. TERRIBLY uninformed employee manning the phone, and inconsiderate employee working the desk. Until they get up to date about Georgia gun law, as at least one of their employees isnt, they deserve none of your hard earned money or time.

Went in just really looking for some good advice on some pistols and the service I got was amazing! Super friendly people and will be willing to help you with anything.

My experience is not even worth this one star. I have bought most of my firearms from Hi-Caliper and have shot here since they opened their doors. It has been some time since i have been to an indoor range, i figured i go back to my old favorite. It took me 20min to check in, thats is semi tolerable. Once i reach my lane, people 2 lanes down are shooting the roof, wall, floor, my target, etc. Its raining drywall on the range, but no one cares to say anything so I stop him and tell him to get out of the range. Following that, the people on the range are racking and pointing their AR at my back. At this point i lost my cool, take my items and leave. I will be shocked if someone does not get killed here from the lack of safety protocol. I will never set foot back in this place, I am highly disappointed.

Had a bad experience with an employee, but the owner too great initiative in getting back to me to see that the problem was resolved. Other than the one employee I loved the place. I will be giving it a second chance.

Great folks. Honest and friendly. I get my reloading supplies from hi-caliber.

Waited for about half an hour before I walked out. Staff was unable to give me an estimation on how long the wait was for a single lane rental. Overall, I was impressed at how clean the store was. Felt dirty cheating on Big Woods Goods after hearing the stories about the jerks that ran this place. I could give a better review of the firing range, but I didnt get that experience. Go half a mile further, and go to Big Woods Goods.
