Nice store for indian food.

They have a wonderful selection of indian/pakistani groceries. The owner is so friendly and helpful. Have been going there for years. The new location is more spacious than the original location.

Best variety of fresh sweets!

They force you to go get groceries from the new location near Saad halal meat. I know the owner is a good guy and always try to get what I need. But this persuasive behavior by the employees is very annoying

Im very diverse when it comes to food. I come to this store to try new things and they have some really good items.

Owner and 2 employees were not wearing a mask and this apathy was scary in the closed environment.

Even though great store for variety of Indian food...but do check out the expiry date of the food stuff they have...observed many time they have stock of expired product..even if u tell them regarding that ...they again place it on shelf...

Bombay Grocers has everything you need, if what you need is ingredients to make delicious Indian cuisine. I went with the intention of buying two ingredients: curry leaves and Indian yogurt. I came home with that, plus some delicious almond drinks, batter to make dosa, Indian sweets, and I could have bought much much more.They have squeezed a lot into this relatively small store, so be careful turning corners because if the aisles are packed its very hard to get by all the other shoppers. The staff is not terribly warm but moderately friendly to me, a non-Indian shopper.

I visited this store coz I was sure they had rice and beans, but coz am black one guy kept following me from one isle to another. I saw him keeping hes eyes on me coz he probably thought I was going to maybe steal some onions or tomatoes I dont know. Or maybe its strictly for Indians. The sign should say it either strictly Indians or no black people allowed. I would never go back

I visit this store often because its close to where I live and I have noticed multiple times that they sell stuff which is well past the mfg. Expiry date and they dont even care... Some of the things are over a year after the expiry date..... Be careful to check what you buy...... and when you bring it to their notice.... They couldnt care less....

Its decent grocery store. I typically find pretty much everything I need. But for fresh vegetables, I prefer Patel Brothers in Garden City since it is more fresh and more options.

Bombay Grocers is very good walk-in for ethnic crowd of Indian subcontinent. One can get almost all ethnic cereals, grains, flours, spices and vegetables (frozen n fresh ) ! If you have started liking Indian cooking, you cant miss this place !

It is like most other Indian grocery shops with shelf full of products way past their expiry / best before dates. If you are not carefully you might end up in ER. I showed it to store associates but the response was shocking. They said no one cares about expiry date there, I am more than welcome to leave the store !!!

They sell expired Ayurvedic medicines which is almost year ago expired and when I informed they simply don’t care about it..They day we don’t know about it, don’t they have audit system?? Very rude.

Very good. line is quick, they have lots of items. wish their just fried samosas area was bigger where I can buy different items.

Okay place. People are nice. My only reason for low rating is that I bought snacks and couldn’t even eat them they tasted terrible to the point of having to trash them. And I’ve had the same thing from a different place before.

Kind of Messy. Boxes everywhere. Asked for a certain sweet. The lady bagged the sweets with other grocery items. Got home to a sticky mess.

I stop here every week. They have one side of an aisle dedicated to herbs and spices. There is an overall excellent selection of staples (rice, lentils, et al). The prices are amazingly affordable, and I have saved a significant amount of money shopping there. I have lost a lot of weight on an (essentially) Indian vegetarian diet, and have discovered a whole new world of eating.My only quibble is that the checkers are very slow, and the line can drag for a bit. I worked in a mass market grocery store for two years, so I know what fast/not fast means.

Used to go to this store for grocery but have stopped recently because of the behavior of a punjabi guy who recently started working there. His behavior towards girls is very bad and thinks that he is a casanova. Thinking about complaining to the cops if he misbehaves again. His behavior towards the other girl or may be manager was also not right when i noticed. Owners need to leash him before they start loosing customers. Dont know the name but well built guy with little long hair over the neck.

This shop isnt that great, they sell expired items and they trick u and sell items that are costlier, for example, u have dabur chwanaprash thats $2.50 and pantanjalis thats $8, if u ask them for chwanaprash, they give u patanjali in hand and bill you $8. The shelves are also arranged in a way, such that costlier items are placed in display, wherelse the less costlier items are placed at the back of the shelf. The meswak toothpaste pack didnt have the claimed toothbrush. So many bad experiences here, i dont recommend this place

It is an okay place to buy groceries, my reason for giving 3 stars is the way things are organized here is not good, it is difficult to locate things and moving a cart around is a challenge even with less people in the shop.
