I would rate this as a convenience store for express shopping when you need indian produce urgently around AVON,SIMSBURY AND CANTON AREA
The place is closest for a lot of people in the towns north west of hartford. Not a bad location but a little listed parking (unless there is in the back of building, which I might have missed).Prices are higher than a lot of other locations in the county. Assuming demand and supply based on location, so they do have upper hand on defining prices.I do hope next time we visit, we get better selection of vegetables.
Good and friendly service every thing u need
Nice store, owned by local family. Fresh vegetables, reasonably priced. Owners are very responsible managing their stock according to expiry dates unlike others that keeps expired food on shelves until an ignorant customer buys it. Kind and helpful owners. Clean, well organized store
Great market with a large variety of spices and dry goods. Theyre vegetables also looked good and were good prices. New to the area and looking forward to shopping here regularly!
Love the family atmosphere in this shop. Great customer service.
Excellent new store featuring not only Indian, but Middle Eastern and Eastern European groceries as well.We came to the Sunday 12 - 1pm food demonstration and sampling.Raj, the owner, himself explained to us how to prepare and use the different products and spices. Highly recommend attending! Were glad to have found this convenient little gem of a store locally saving us from traveling to WH for the same items!
Smelled like curry and dead goat
Good selection very convenient location from the Farmington Valley really needed a place like this for a long time here. Hope the Indian community and community in general at large support this place because driving to Manchester for a bag of onions is really not convenient. Did not know about their daily specials must stop one day to check it out. The owner and his wife are super friendly prices are very reasonable. This place has saved our butt at last minute several times
Great variety, great little market with everything you need
Friendly staff, great selection! So happy we dont need to drive more than 10 minutes away to get fresh Indian herbs, spices, and frozen foods. This market is cozy and has everything you need to live and eat healthy.
Ain’t good. Expensive and unmanaged.
I buy mango all very sour .throw away.limited item
Convenient place to get Indian foodstuff
Small store but carries a decent variety of Pakistani and indian grocery. Fresh produce is very good mostly. The staff are polite and very helpful. If they dont have something they will restock it for you fast.No complaints.
I recently got a new rice cooker and wanted to buy some proper Basmati rice. Couldnt find any at the supermarket. I stopped by Valley Indian Market for the first time. They had so many different brands I didnt know which one to choose so I asked for help at the counter Very nice people. I got a recommendation and bought a fairly large bag. When I got home I was wondering about the price so I scanned the bar code with my phone and searched it on the web. Turns out the price I paid at Valley Indian Market was $8. LESS than the identical product from Amazon! Thanks Valley Indian Market. Ill be back.
Small store, big selection, always helpful. My go to for good food. Make it yours, too. Your body will thank you.
The chaat! OMG - delicious. What a fabulous fast meal to grab. The real thing. Were hooked. I think they only do it Thursday- sat 4-8pm but wow is it worth it!
Wonderful selection of Indian and middle Eastern food. Lots of fruits and vegetables too. Always check expiration dates on packaged goods.
Friendly staff and great selection. Favorite spot for spices. Had samosas from there that were outstanding.
Decent selection of pantry staples and spices. Lots of instant foods and snacks, and a good amount of fresh veggies.
Excellent assortment of spices, products and produce needed to create an authentic Indian meal. Unfortunately, I am unfamiliar with many of the products but am looking forward to hands on experimenting and learning.
Very good Indian grocery store, around Avon, Simsbury & Canton area. They have a wide selection of organic foods including rice, lintel & spices etc. The owner is very helpful and always goes out of his way to help customers.
Small compact store. Fresh produce on Thursdays and Sundays. Friendly staff, but limited choices.
Terrible service, dirty and owner dont care
Courtesy, help ready to asists

Good selection on vadilal stuff, expensive compared to other places.
Great Indian grocery store!! They have the best dosa batter!
A little iggldy piggledy inside but a lot of traffic and great selection of ethnic food supplies ... And if you dont cook the have Indian frozen food. Particularly frozen naan which I find hard to make from scratch.
We get all Indian grocery. Good service.
It is a nice indian grocery store with a complete range of Indian Veggies, spices & other indian food product. Neeraj Goyal & other staff is very friendly, Helpul.
Great selection, service & prices!!
Much needed store to serve farmigton, avon, simsbury and canton south Asian population.
Very clean and hygienic. Very friendly staff who go above and beyond to help you out.
You can get all most every brand for Indian food
Very convenient and good quality product.
Small but a good mix of items for a small store. Very friendly staff
12/30/2018 - they have many expired items and in Milo Helath drinks they had intentionally removed the use by date. They have 2017 expired one for sale which unethical and bad.
Most of the grocery items are available but little over priced. Fresh vegetables available.
Well stocked, helpful owner, very clean.
Ok to buy occasionally... Minimum credit card purchase is $10 👊😂
Hot samosas are available here..
Thanks for response. The cashier did scan all the items and i didnt even buy some spices but was charged extra by manually inputing the item. Such a rip off. If you overlook your bill they will be charge extra.Beware.
