Our moving team was absolutely amazing! I even got hugs from all 3 of them at the end! Dana was very professional and personable and such a hard worker. Chase barely stopped moving the entire time, what a work horse! Ryan was super friendly and hard working as well. Great job guys and thank you so very much for handling our things with care and professionalism.
I used them to load a truck for a cross country move. Chris, Monty, and Corey would not listen. Unloading the truck another Two Men and a Truck crew discovered multiple totes were broken but the best was putting heavy things on top of GLASS!! It was clearly labeled. Jake from Quality Control will not respond. Thankfully I’ll never have to use them again, and I do not recommend them to others.
Great experience during somewhat of an anxious time. The entire staff I dealt with was professional, courteous and went the extra mile in all phases of process. This is my second time using them ... and I wont hesitate to use them a third!
Ruined my new furniture and couches putting in my storage unit. I hadnt opened it until time to move again. Then I was told I had 60 days to put a claim in. Well why would I unpack a storage unit to see if my stuff was broken. Specially at the time I was using a walker. No one will fix this. I guess BBB NEEDS TO BE. INVOLVED
Ive had several good experiences with this company. Office staff is great to work with, movers are quick and careful, and reasonable rates. Ill call them for our next move!
Two Men were able to schedule in our move within four days of me calling which was very convenient. Crew arrived on time and ready to work. They shaved an hour off the estimated time saving me a couple hundred dollars which was very much appreciated. Crew were all courteous and professional. Highly recommended!
The four man crew we had were amazing! They were such hard workers! They got the job done in a very timely fashion and were so careful with our furniture! We could not have been happier with our choice to use them.
One call did it all. The guys moved quickly, did not slack off. As well, very careful on wrapping articles to make sure there was no damage. Observation is, both front of house, and back of house(Meaning office staff, and movers) very repectful, kept their mind on what they were doing, and very concientous to do a great job. Would definitely hire again.
This was a great move. The experience was super and would refer them to friends and family. The men and women were courteous, friendly and were careful with our items.
I had an awful experience with Two Men and a Truck in Canton. First we agreed on a set price and we signed a contract. On the moving day the manager called me while they were moving my furniture to the truck and wanted to add $300 to the price or they’ll take back my furniture from the truck! She was SUPER rude and caused a lot of problems throughout the day. Plus, the movers broke many items. Overall, they made my moving day way more stressful than it should’ve been. I definitely do not recommend.
Excellent service from start to finish. The lady I scheduled with was fantastic! The movers - Dylan & Austin were excellent, fast and so nice! I would definitely hire them again!
Our arrived on time. The 3 men were very friendly. The crew were very careful about how they handled our belongings and our homes as they removed the items from our old house and carried them into our new house. This is the second time Ive used Two Men and A Truck.Definitely recommend this company for moving!
Fantastic company; very professional!! Recommend 2 Men & Truck to anyone and everyone who needs relocation services!
If you want a quality moving experience, do not even consider using Two Men and a Truck. Absolutely horrid service, care of your goods and misleading claims. The only positive experience that we had was that the movers were nice guys, but that is where the good ends. We ordered boxes and mattress covers from them and only about 2/3 of the boxes were delivered and we didn’t get any mattress covers. The company reimbursed us for some of the boxes, but our mattresses still had to ride in the truck with no protection from dirt, dust and grime. From the beginning, the movers didn’t care about the state of our items. They would put the goods on the edge of the truck and slide them to the opposite side of the truck. They would also carry items and put them o. The truck on their sides. Generally when you pack, you expect the goods to remain upright. When the movers said they were done, I went through the house and they missed things in every room and gave me attitude about doing the job completely. When we arrived to the new house, I could hear them dropping boxes in the truck, again sliding the goods to the other end of the truck. Not to mention that they put 90% of the boxes in the wrong rooms, despite them being labeled and them confirming where they should go. We had food boxes in our bedroom and bedroom boxes in our living room. We are only about 50% done unpacking and are starting to find broken goods. The company touts on being the best and having full coverage insurance but when we pointed out the broken goods, they stated that the insurance doesn’t cover boxes that we packed ourselves. They pointed out this was on the agreement, but for someone that touts their insurance coverage, you would think they would mention this caveat rather than it being in the fine print. When we explained that an antique tea set that was passed down over generations, they just shrugged it off and said it isn’t covered because they didn’t pack it. The only thing that they ever said about them packing goods for us was them asking if we needed help packing. They didn’t even mention that their insurance didn’t cover goods that we packed. I work in the International shipping business and full coverage insurance means all damaged goods are covered, no matter who packed them. When I brought all of this to their attention, they didn’t seem to care in any way. They said we signed a contract and payed for hourly service. This was our second move and in our first move, our friends did a better job and cared about our items more than this company that touts being the best on the market. We paid around $800 more for their services because they were the best but then we had a horrible experience.Again, never use Two Men and a Truck, they are horrible and won’t care about your hard earned items and goods. Spread the word and find someone else to move your items.
Great experience, two man and a truck took the stress of moving day away. They were very respectful and professional. They were awesome!!!
The gentlemen arrived as promised and did an excellent job moving bedroom from downstairs to upstairs. They worked very efficiently and were very polite. Would gladly use again should the need arise.
Not great. They broke the furniture, not to mention didn’t even ask where the boxes needed to go. The manager of course defended her employees as you would expect, but that is an insane price for low quality work. The guys were nice; doesn’t mean they were good. The manager rectified the price, but still beware!
The three young men who moved furniture for us were very organized, very knowledgeable of what they needed to do and got everything moved in efficient time. We appreciated that they were also very kind and polite.
Very professional and respectful. They moved a piano from one home to my home. Wrapped it and carefully moved it. I have had them move in the past and would highly recommend this company.
Great team, Amazing Services. Highly recommended!!
Horrible customer service, lack of care for your property, movers moved wrong things to different addresses, they ruined our dining room table, stepped on and destroyed our tv, scratched up our washer and dryer and only want to reimburse us for the cost of the move. They did offer to fix the dining room table, but we were moving again in two days and that wasn’t an option. The customer service person was rude when I asked for fair value of ruined property. Do NOT do business with them. It’s a shame. They used to be a good company as we used them in the past.
We had a move with this company on 8/13. The movers brought too small of a truck due to a wrong work order which updated about halfway through the loading. They then broke two pieces of furniture and scratched some hardwood flooring. To date the company that was supposed to fix the furniture has missed their appointments, the company that was supposed to fix the flooring forgot to schedule the second estimate. Neither floor nor furniture has been fixed over a month after the move.
This is the second time I have used this company. I am very pleased with everyone I spoke to.The men doing the moving were very polite, efficient and helpful. They had to stop at 2 different places for this move, which was handled very quickly.I definitely recommend them for moving.
This was the absolute worst moving experience of my life with this company. When I first made the call I, I was assured that everything is insured if any damages arise out of the move because I was willing to pay extra for mor insurance since the bedroom suit I purchased was almost $10,000 Amish made and 100% wood which it was extremely heavy and I left them know of that too. They showed up with two guys only, which one spent a lot of time on the phone trying to get a business who was working on his personal car to lower the bill cause he couldn’t afford the price given. Then when they finally arrived to my house is where it all started .... they dropped my bedroom set numerous times and did damage trying to get it up the stairs, the other guy helping couldn’t even hold up his end at lifting and kept dropping it repeatedly... my son then asked if they needed a little help and they jumped on that with a big yes. I just had my bedroom remodeled ... new flooring... windows ... paint and new trim.... and the gouged my flooring and scuffed all the walls coming up the stairs and in my bedroom. My furniture has gouges and scrapes all over the place and they just wanted to send their wood tech out to “repair” it.... i told them i will not except a repair because it was BRAND NEW.... i wish i could post pics of all the damage they did.... on the other note they sent a tech to repair my walls which he did a great job on .... they did reimburse me for my floor that was just installed .... but did nothing for my bedroom set which i refused a ‘repair’ on .... and when I told them that they should replace the damaged items.... i was blown off because they already paid out enough on this move!!!! NEVER USE THIS COMPANY.... there are plenty of better ones out there !!!!!
Nationally, I believe Two Men and a Truck to be a reputable company and Ive been happy with their service in the past, elsewhere. So maybe the problem is just with the Canton, Ohio branch. My partner and I each hired TMAAT for a short-distance apartment-to-house move and we both suffered damage to several wood furniture pieces. They moved my partners fabric couch in the rain with no protection, and then tore it at some point in transit. They put down no flooring protection for their muddy shoes.Additionally, on both occasions not a single mover showed up wearing a mask. This was during a Level 4 (purple) public health emergency in Stark county. I had to insist they go get some.In fairness, the office was prompt in addressing the damage and (so far) weve been fairly compensated. But I have to conclude the moving teams at the Canton office are careless.I would investigate other options before using their service again.
Ive used this moving company twice. They are reasonable and the staff/movers are very professional and mindful of taking great care of your items. I recommend you call them first!
This is a wonderful company to work with. The office team is responsive and adaptable to your moving needs. We had an out of state move where we needed them to pack up our belonging from storage units without us being there. They were able to meet of our needs, make sure our lockers were cleaned out and good for closing, then where able to get our belongings to us. The move team was very prompt and polite. We had a damaged item when a mover dropped the item. They were very professional and the office team provided a replacement in a very timely manner. One aspect that would have been nice to see would be if the move team could have worn coverings on their shoes during the move. Overall, based on cost, efficiency, and meeting our needs, we are very satisfied.
Have used before previously and will absolutely use again. Professional, friendly, and responsible. Made moving, which is stressful, a much more pleasant experience. Would absolutely highly recommend.
Double the estimate. Late. Dropped my furniture didnt care for my furniture properly.Didnt take responsibility.
Called 15 minutes prior to job and said they needed to reschedule because morning job was bigger than expected. I am reasonable. A call at 9:30am to tell me the job is bigger and it might be an issue on a Saturday would have given me time to make adjustments. Calling at 1:15pm and just saying sorry and I needed to reschedule is completely insane. They did call back about 20 minutes later and say they could see if another truck could postpone their afternoon job and come to me, which I rejected because I had to get the job done today and did not have trust in them again as well as did not want someone else to have the same stress put on them. Very poor. Would never use them again.
Good company to use if ypue.moving very professional ppl
Very pleasant guys that moved us thank you
Over priced, terrible communication between employees. Wont use them again and definitely wouldnt recommend
Had to move my mother. Two men and a truck let me have 2 young men to load the truck. The 2 young men were prompt on their arrival, worked extremely hard. They were both very professional as well. I will say that the office staff helped us out in getting this set up and Thank you to the manager who took her time to make sure all was doe correctly. I would use them again when I have other moves. For people out there looking for movers, you know the old saying you get what you pay for Well We got great service and nothing was destroyed during the 600 miles we drove to move my mother. All was worth the price. Thank you for your help!!!
This is the second time we have called Two Men and a Truck to help us move our nonprofit. Both times we have been so pleased with their professionalism and making sure what they moved would arrive safely. The three gentleman that helped us this week, Jermaine, Keshawn, Sharron not only did a great job, but very professional and kind. Thank you! WE will for sure call you again when we need you.
For our move, four men and two trucks did a superb job. The movers were VERY careful, cooperative with each other, amazingly strong and responsive to our requests. The pre-move estimate was spot on. We are 110% satisfied.
Honestly the place will add hidden charges in then call it valuation for insurance purposes and if u ask they beat around the bush because its bogus everyone hustling someone and the workers r straight off the street under payed they talk about vaules falsely
I would NEVER use this company again, nor will I ever recommend them again. If anything, I will save my pictures and show them to whoever says they are considering using them. I am just appalled at the unprofessionalism and blatant disregard for customer service and customer satisfaction that this company has. I am so beyond words and absolutely livid by this whole experience. I will NEVER recommend this business to anyone ever again. And I will do everything in my power to deter people from utilizing your company.
I was very pleased with the movers, they were very kind and considerate, and they also got things done quickly. I highly recommend them.
I want to thank Two Men and a Truck for a multitude of reasons. Now I just had 1 piece of furniture to move from a relatives garage to my place, but it was done courteously, professionally, and with out a doubt, timely. From the first call with Natasha scheduling the appointment, to the professionalism and the attitude of going beyond the normal circumstance, of Eric and Sherron in delivering it to my place, everything ended up PERFECT!! The reason I am writing this review, is that I am in the service industry as well, and when a situation like this one comes about, and it takes a little stress off of my back, I want to make sure that the hard working people that made my day a little easier, get the THANKS they DESERVE!! I will be using this company in the future!!
We used Two Men & A Truck when we moved into a temporary apartment awaiting the completion of our new home. They did such a good job, there was no hesitation in using them a second time to move into our permanent home! From Natasha keeping in close contact in the office to the team of movers (Tyler, Sherron & Mack) who were the most respectful, politest kids ever, we couldnt have dreamed of a better experience! Plus they came in under the estimate BOTH times! Thank you, Thank you! I wouldnt hesitate to recommend their services to anyone!
The 4 men and a truck who accomplished our recent move to a new location were absolutely outstanding! Mike, Kurt, Dante, and Mark are exceptionally awesome. The first thing they did when they came into our home was to introduce themselves.....each man was very polite, courteous, had a very willing attitude to help make our transition to our new home a very good experience. Movers Who Care is a very good statement about your company. These men took exceptional care in protecting our possessions, especially our fine antiques. It is our opinion that Two Men and a Truck must be a fine company to work for as their employees are a fine representation of quality service. We also appreciated Tina, for her expertise in planning our move. THANK YOU for your exceptional service!
My move with Two Men and a Truck was a nightmare! They broke a beautiful mosaic table, didnt put things back together, didnt attach my hutch correctly and it almost slide off, smashed the side of a glass credenza and the list goes on! Recently someone just hired them who bought my piano. Came to the door with no masks and felt they really didnt know what they were doing. As usual, one man worked while the other two stood around.
Eric and Eon were very friendly, professional and courteous. They were great and I was very impressed. Thank you!
3rd time I’ve used them. Never again. While the movers where hard working and conscientious, management is absolutely unprofessional and rude. The website crashed before I completed the inventory and when the estimator called, blew it off. Well, they didn’t have enough time and didn’t finish the job. At one point they just called it a day. Now for over a week my stuff is still split between two locations a half hour a part. When I scheduled an in person inspection to move the remaining stuff, they never showed up.
The four men that came and moved us in two trucks were very nice and polite. They work very efficiently! I would recommend them to anyone moving in the area. The entire process from calling to get a quote to the move itself was great! Thank you!Ps: make a list of everything you are planning to move before you call for a quote !
After our move, we are missing our umbrella stand for our outdoor patio furniture. Computer desk is beyond fixable and scratches all over our 2 grand bedroom suite. They didnt inventory anything. Was initially satisfied, but as we started putting things away, saw the damage and missing things.
Mike and Martin moved us. They acted professionally in every respect. Mike did the paperwork and was very well spoken. Both men were respectful and compassionate to our unique circumstances. They were extremely efficient loading and unloading our older pieces--one over 150 years old--several frail. I couldnt ask for more in service for this job.
The three young men Mike, Eli and Isiah were terrific!!! They were friendly, courteous, good listeners and very careful with my furniture. All three of these Gentleman are an asset to your company and they definitely work as a team. They did a WONDERFUL job!!! Many Thanks to each one of them and to you for hiring them!!!
This is the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with! We hired them for 2 moves...1 to move things to our storage unit and 2 to move things to our new home. The 1st move we were given a “9-11am” window. At 1:40pm they had not arrived and no one called me. I called them and was told they would be there shortly. At 3pm they were still not there, no phone call again. I called and was told again they would be there shortly. At 3:30 they finally showed up and said they were late because at their 1st move they were only to move a few items and ended up moving the entire home! As they were moving furniture out of my living and dining rooms they scratched my hardwood floors. I called the office to make a complaint and was told several times someone would call me back...no calls. I finally called the manager who apologized profusely and said he would send someone out to look at the floors to repair them. This guy showed up, you guessed it, 2 hours late and asked my husband how much he thought it would be to fix the floors and offered to pay my husband to fix them himself! I called the manager again and was told he would find someone else. 3 days have gone by and no phone call! I called again today and was told the manager would call me back and guess what? No phone call! They have charged me $1400+ and have not done anything to make this right! I will not recommend this company to anyone and will be sure to share my story as often as I can to anyone who may be looking for a moving company!
Had the guys move my items from Dayton, Oh to North Canton and I have to say, they were excellent. Very kind, considerate, and worked hard. I would recommend Gaige and his crew to anyone! Awesome work guys.
The movers were great! They took great care of my things while also working fast. The slow down was at end of move. They had to contact office for final payout. But the office was in no hurry. They said they would call right back but we stood around waiting. I think they could work on this process. My workers were great they even made sure to record times they actually finished so it wasn’t based on time it took office to respond to them.
Getting a quote from Natasha totally turned me against the company. I was given a $761 quote to move a studio apartment. Full sized bed, couch and chair, air conditioner, counter height table w/2 stools, couple of end tables and clothes and shoes. Maybe eight boxes at most. Natasha reserved a 26 inch truck for my move (remember I have studio apartment) 3 movers and an estimated of 3 hours to 4.5 to move me from 44707 to 44703. Trying to rob me w/o the gun. SMH at Natasha.
Overall a great experience with a simple in-house furniture move. Only disappointment is that the two gentlemen were not wearing masks.
The guys started out strong and caring. Towards the end, they got a little sloppy. My miter saw stand was leaning against a wall in my living room and its now meant to be stood on end. It fell and damaged a nearby wall. I told the office and they were to credit my ccard some compensation. I have yet to see that credit applied to my ccard. The dolly that one guy used to move boxes down the ramp from the truck, he turned it too sharply on the ground and spilled the load. One box broke open and spilled on the ground. Not a big deal, but he was tired and careless. But overall, they got it done.
Unprofessional and unprepared, now refusing to do the job even though they were given complete information when booked. Office representative Natasha is argumentative and refused to give contact information for her superior. The BBB and the corporate office in Lansing, MI have been made aware!
Its really hard to imagine a better group than TMAAT. Both packing and moving, they were kind, careful and courteous and a joy to be around. They moved us into a huge home, all freshly painted, and there was not one single mark of any kind anywhere. Only rarely do you get to work with anyone who is completely perfect, but this crew was just that . Perfect.
Would not recommend. Moved our house did not move everything ran out of room on truck. Still had to rent a moving truck and finish ourselves. Also moved our 4 TVs. All four were damaged. 2 are no longer useable. 2 were damaged cosmetically. There guys said they did not do it so they will not cover them.
The movers arrived early and really hustled the entire time they were there. They all three introduced themselves and listened to my instructions and requests. Whats more, they were pleasant and genuinely helpful. I highly recommend Two Men and a Truck in North Canton, Ohio.
I feel like EVERYONE with Two Men .... from office staff to the movers themselves .... did their absolute best to make my move as painless and as affordable as possible for me. I was very impressed at their willingness to work with me on the best price possible; and the care that David, Aaron, and Michael took with my furniture could not be matched! The job from start to finish ... TOP NOTCH! (nora)
Worst moving co. Ever. All they had to do was move my large items. I wish I would have just done myself. They took 6 hours wrapping and packing the truck. Estimate was for 8 hrs and i had removed items from the list after estimate. They took a total of 12 hrs. Mover spent a whole hour hooking up my fridge filter. And the fridge was still not leveled. When i called to complain they did not try to resolve. I would not recommend. Unless you like wasting money. The only thing good I can say is they wrapped and protected everything very well. But they moved like snails with slow metabolism.
Great service and right to the point type of business
I had a great moving experience with this Company. The Movers were friendly, polite, efficient, and worked hard. They took extreme care of the items... I highly recommend their services.
I had a great experience they came in was very efficient, friendly, fast and very helpful. They answered all the questions I had the manager called to see how the move was going it was just all around a great experience! I would recommend them to anyone .
I worked here for six months and I have to say that although I liked my coworkers and my managers very much, the ownership is mediocre at best. They expected us to be at work at 6:30AM, but wouldnt pay us until we left on a truck which was usually an hour later. They cant keep workers because although they charge you 100+/hr they only pay movers 11 maybe 12 dollars an hour. The drivers are not much better off making maybe a dollar per hour more. These guys depend on your kindness (tips) to survive day to day. Expect it to take longer than the estimate, the drivers might try to save u some time if you get a decent crew........PS READ ALL THE PAPERWORK AND ONLY TAKE OPTION ONE WHEN THEY ASK ABOUT COVERAGE/PROTECTION FOR YOUR ITEMS. PSS YOU ARE WELCOME.
Had an 8 o clock appointment they showed up at 930. Was quoted anywhere between $415- $700 and ended up paying in the in the upper range. The guys who moved me were great its just unfortunate management didnt compensate for late arrival, rain delay (which affects speed due to going through rain and drying all materials that had to go through rain), or try to at least acknowledge their far off estimate. Next time I will use another local company.
Worst move I have ever experienced and I have moved from state to state several times. Did not keep scheduled loading and unloading times. Damaged several items only repaired two pieces of furniture. Offered a $200.00 settlement for three other items, would not consider a counter offer. Left original moving bill of lading and household inventory documents. Recommend stay away from this franchise mover.
Had the movers move my mother and the service was exceptional! I would recommend this company to anyone!
Again, quit lying on this page with your fake positive reviews. I had a coin collection and some foreign currency stolen during the move and I reported it to the STEUBENVILLE police whose detective told me the movers had criminal records. If I am lying sue me for libel. Yes, you do hire ex criminals and the Police in Steubenville investigated it. Also, why was I not refunded for anything stolen or for the large branch your truck knocked down from a tree that I had to pay to get rid of????? Look at the yelp review people before the owner stacks it with fake positive reviews. Again, say what you want in response and take me to court for libel if I am lying.
Hands down worst moving company to work for. Show up for my paycheck and they didn’t even have my check. Branch manager made fun of me for telling her that I’m taking care of my dad who has cancer. If you like to work and not get paid this is the company for you to work for but after what I experienced I can tell you personally you don’t want to work for this unprofessional company.
Great experience. Made for a pleasant and easy move.
Worst company to have move my stuff. Movers didn’t take care of my furniture, movers were complaining and lazy. I called Matt their manager and Joe their assistant and Sierra, they did nothing for me but COMPLAIN. Bill went past what they told me ! DAMAGES ALL AROUND ! DONT HIRE THIS COMPANY OR ANY 2 MEN AND A TRUCK! WASTE OF MONEY !
The day before the move they were given my cell phone number as a contact. The morning of the move I saw them driving in circles but no one was calling me. I called the office and they told me they had the wrong contact number and not to worry because that time wouldnt count against me. Finally they found me ( probably because I was in the middle of the street waving my arms). Mike and Kurt introduced themselves and seemed very nice and got to work. No more than an hour into the move I didnt see Kurt. I ask Mike where he was and he told me that he was upstairs. I went upstairs but did not find him. I kept moving things to my truck. After 20 minutes without seeing Kurt I walked past the truck and he was sitting inside the truck talking on the phone. When he finally emerged I told him I wasnt paying $133 per hour for him to sit in the truck and talk on the phone. He obviously thought I would feel better if he told me he was he was talking to his girlfriend who was in South Carolina. It didnt work!. The next day I got a follow up call and explained what had transpired. She told me that was totally unacceptable and that she would talk to the manager and call me right back. She never called me back. When the final charges were calculated I not only paid for the time they drove around in circles, I paid for Kurt to talk to his girlfriend. Ill let you decide if this is the company you want to pay to move you. Moving is stressful enough without having to deal with this.
I had used another moving company in the past that not only damaged our property but also the walls. We researched other companies but our friends told us to go with two men and we regret not using them sooner. Not only were they very efficient, they took the time to pad and wrap all of our valuables so nothing got damaged. Neither my family or I will ever use another moving company after the exceptional service we received from them.
They were better than great. Couldnt be happier. Joe and Nick were super nice and got the job done faster than estimated.
Everyone I worked with was professional and friendly. The moving team did an excellent job, they were very professional, courteous, and friendly!
If i could give 0 stars I would!! The hourly rate of $118 adds up quickly. I hired them to move a couch and a fire place 3 miles down the road. This would have been done in no time. It was a little over one hour and I was charged $280!!.Plus the guys were 40 min.late!!! Nobody called to let me know whats going on. I called the day after to complain and I was told managment would get back with me,but nobody called of course! I would NEVER hire this company again!!!
The worst business ever, don’t call them to come to your house and break your stuffs. The important thing is don’t ever trust the manager there. He’s a liar
Horrible service. We have spoken with two men and a truck four times to be reimbursed for damages caused to our home on 5-27-16 (47 days ago!). My husband told the men the piece of furniture would not fit through the door frame and they insisted. There are damages on our door frame, refrigerator and cabinet! I have been given the run around that the manager who deals with damages was on vacation and would be in contact with me. I will be calling again today for the 5th time! DO NOT use this company if you want a good moving experience.
I wrote a previous review how I had some things stolen and the owner blew me off and I reported it to the police. The detective said the movers had criminal records and the owner of 2 men did not try to correct the problem. I do not appreciate ex-felons coming into my house and why do you hire people with criminal records????
Id recommend anyone considering this company for a move to do your homework and look them up on Better Buiness Bureau. Not only did it end up costing us twice what was quoted, we had to buy a new ceramic grill that they broke through pure negligence on their part.
Two Men and a Truck were FABULOUS with my move last week from Ohio to Florida!! Here are just a few things that stood out.1). I priced several companies before deciding who to hire. The other companies were going to use semis and my items would be delivered in 3-12 days. It would take that long because depending on where they were, they would stop and pick up other peoples items and deliver others before my stuff finally made it to me. Are you kidding?? They also hired local help at each destination to load and unload. Again, are you kidding? With Two Men I had three men loading at my house in Ohio and then one of them made the journey to Florida and picked up help at a local Two Men company. I had the truck and one man for four days but my things were delivered when I asked them to be delivered. Also, Two Men prices were extremely comparable to the other companies that promised delivery in 3-12 days.2). Joe and the others were amazing!!! I have never truly moved before, unless you count 6 miles as a move. Joe called the morning of pickup and reassured me that all would be ok. I was quite frankly freaking out!3). Stress levels were high in my house. I was moving 5 states away for a job and leaving my teenage boys behind to finish school for the year. My oldest son has autism and was not handling things so well that morning. He was extremely upset about the changes and the fact that strangers were going to be handling his guitars. I talked to the three men in the basement about it and apologized ahead of time for his behavior or attitude they may get. When we went upstairs and it was time to load the guitars they brought them to me and remarked about how nice they were and that they would wrap them to keep them safe and put them in a special place in the truck. They said all of this to me, but made sure he heard. As the mom of a special needs child you have no idea how much this was appreciated. They didnt make him feel bad, belittle him, shame him, or point out that this was an issue. They said it to me, but he heard it and knew his things would be safe. I nearly cried because there is no dollar amount that can be paid for that kind of respect and sensitivity.3). Other companies wanted to build $500 crates for my glass top table. Two Men wrapped it in a few blankets and padding and Joe checked on it nightly in the truck ;-)4). Several items that belonged to my great-grandmother, Joe wrapped and put on the back seat of the truck for me. He immediately noted how important they were to me and took extra precaution to keep them safe.5) Upon arrival to Florida, I had the same amazing care and attention taken to all of my items that they had during loading. Things were taken to whatever room they needed to go to and Joe wouldnt let me move any boxes myself.6). I also never felt rushed with Two Men. I was able to do a walk through a couple of times before leaving Ohio. Also I was able to try out the electronic couch before they left Florida just to make sure everything was working ok. I never felt like I was paying by the hour so I had to hurry.Obviously, I cant say enough good things about Two Men and I will definitely recommend and use them in the future. Five stars does NOT seem high enough. THANK YOU Two Men and a Truck!!!!
Slow moving and inefficient also damaged my couch, tv, dishes its been months and the company has said they will send me a replacment for my tv and someone to fix the couch neither has happened then they changed the story and said they will send money for the couch and still replace the tv still has not happed. Im not asking for the world but i trusted this company to move my belongings litteraly across the street. And rectify the situation. Cant believe a company can be run like this
Worst experience of my life worst mistake of my life it was a Disaster If it was not damaged when they got there it was damage When it was delivered Had to have holes Repaired in the walls hardwood floors scratched badly New freezer look like somebody took a ball-peen hammer to it
Very expensive for a local move. So many other very good companies at a quarter of the price.
They stole a coin collection and some money from a room they were not suppose to go in, cracked an antique, knocked a huge branch off a tree with their truck, searched cabinets in a room they were not suppose to in and scuffed a hardwood floor.
Worst company to have move my stuff ! Movers didn’t take care of my furniture! Movers were complaining and lazy ! I called Matt their manger and Joe their assistant and Sierra! They did NOTHING for me BUT COMPLAIN! Bill went past what the estimate was, DAMAGES ALL AROUND DONT HIRE THIS COMPANY OR ANY 2 MEN AND A TRUCK COMPANY !
Great service. A bit expensive.
They do a great job....love them
Things were horribly packed but got it done in one day
Very very sloppy! Damaged my antiques, walls, thing missing.... and WAY OVERPRICED!
The quote and reality were two drastically different things.
I work there
Was severely overcharged for half a truck load because there were 30 extra boxes they had to touch and sent a truck from Canton to Stow so I had to eat an hour and a half of drive time at $118 an hour any complaints you have will fall on deaf ears so I suggest you take your business elsewhere
