This place is great. They are one of the few places in Cape Coral which take out of state insurance. They have great self pay options which made it possible for me to purchase 3 sets of glasses.They have THOUSANDS of frames, so its not possible to go in and get out quickly. If you want the perfect frames, you will find them. It will take you some time though.Staff is incredibly friendly, patient, and helpful. The eye exam was really quick so you could get this done over your lunch break. Give this business your patronage. It will work out for you.

This is a great place to get your eyes checked and obtain new glasses. I had broken my glasses and they took out my lenses, found me some new frames and I was out of there in an hour. Great service, great people.

I had the best experience yesterday when getting my eye exam and picking frames! Dianne was so amazing in helping me select the best frames in my budget. These people were so helpful with helping me pick out a new pair of glasses. I have astigmatism, and only had been to one other place, and it took forever to get my glasses from the other place. They also have a very wide selection of frames to choose from. It took less than a week for my glasses to get done and them be ready for pick up. All of the staff who work there are super nice and friendly. They answered every question I had, and was very informative. This is the only place I will go now! I’m from Michigan and my glasses bow broke while staying on Pine Island. Diane found a great pair of bows that looked very nice on the frame and had them installed by the next day for way less than I could believe. Very pleased with the service. Highly recommend.

My eyeglasses handle was broken. I look for help during my travel in Europe. Anybody was able to do it and explanation was that the frame is made from titanium and I just have to change it. Dianne of ONE PRICE OPTICAL was one amazing helper who solve the problem for 10 min. Diane was so kind and expedite, making a miracle art job to solve my problem. She did not accepting money in return. I am very thankful to her.

Staff was great and very professional, however I was greatly disappointed with Doctor Evans. He was very rude and condescending to me. I dont know why he behaved this way, but I wont be going back there, and I will not recomend this place to any of my friends or family members.I wish he would realize that there are plenty of other places one could go to get glasses. In my opinion, treating customers with a bit of dignity doesnt cost him much and would probably bring more people to his business.p.s. Dr. Evans was extremely unprofessional. We walked out of the appt because he refused to wear a mask, saying Its useless. He made an off-color comment about the age of myself and my 17yr old daughter, then he said out loud That was snarky.. It was one of the strangest, most uncomfortable appts Ive ever encountered. Never going back.

FIRST TIME EYEGLASS WEARER, This is the 3rd place I went to get glasses, the other 2 sold me $450.00+ Glasses, both gave me headaches! From making the appointment, to the exam to the delivery of the Glasses all was done in a timely and professional manner. The Glasses were PERFECT for what I wanted and needed. Yet they did screw me a little. NOW THAT I CAN SEE, I had to clean my whole house! lol. Highly recommended!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

While at the Cape for 12 days, I realized my progressive sunglasses needed adjustment. We walked into the store and were greeted with a smile by Dianne. She was AMAZING, adjusted my glasses, and as we were looking around the store. Helped us with certain glasses that appealed to us. Because of Dianne, we will return in early October for 2 pair. She is a true asset to your company.

Found this business by accident. I lost my glasses and needed replacement. Walmart was unable to replace glasses until July, due to C19 restrictions. Had an exam and placed order on June 17th. My order should be ready in a week or so. Huge assortment of frames to choose from, budget to designer. Had been going to Walmart to save money. I saved more here and had a vast selection of frames to choose from, and frames seemed to be of better quality. Office staff is very helpful, didnt catch their names. Best place Ive ever been for eyeglasses. Definitely my new go to optical needs. Easy in and out location with their own parking lot.

My mom and I went here Friday November 22nd, to try and pick out some glasses. We didn’t arrive there until close to closing and we were worried since we arrived so late we wouldn’t get help. I wish i could give zero! Do not go here! The doctor misdiagnosed my husband and didnt even explain the diagnoses to him, he had his receptionist do it and she didnt know much about it either. My husband was told the doctor here doesnt do anything except an exam (which Ive had personal experience with and he messed up my prescription twice!)if anything looks a tad off he sends you to a specialist... we went for a second opinion (which btw his receptive highly suggested us doing! at a Walmart! ) at swfl eye care. My husband was informed by their doctor nothing was wrong with his eyes and in fact his eyeglass prescription was higher than it should be!We would have spent some serious$$ at a specialist for nothing! This facility gave us nothing but problems but to mention the emotional stress caused by this whole ordeal!In response to the office: I wrote this review for my husband not myself. So no need to look at my records. I was seen once and never went back and in fact received a refund for my glasses because the script was so off.Your doctor diagnosed my husband with corneal distortion to which the second opinion saw nothing of so yes he was misdiagnosed. Perhaps you should speak with your receptionist and ask why she strongly suggested to be seen by anyone other than your doctor and how he doesnt even feel it was his job to explain to his patient why he felt they needed to be seen by a specialist. Truly a sad so called practice.

First of all, their selection is amazing and their customer service is wonderful. I didn’t have an appointment but I went in to have my glasses repaired. They did the repair while I waited. It was quick and I was very happy with the results.

I just purchased a new pair of glasses from One Price Optical and have no clue where the negative reviews come from. I would give them 6 stars if I could. I had a most pleasant experience and Todd and Hope could not have been more helpful. I actually had a really good time and will definitely be using them as my eye health needs them. Great service, super friendly staff.I was prescribed contacts from a chain store. I couldnt see a thing and the quality of their 30 day lens was so bad I was lucky to get 10 days out of them.Dr. Evans not only prescribed a lens I could see out of, he ordered me a high quality 30 day lens that lasted far beyond 30 days.Dont waste your time and money at the national chain stores. One Price optical is the best bang for your buck.

My glasses broke the day I was going to leave on my big trip. I called a few places and no one had a replacement frame, so I had to get a new pair of glasses. One Price Optical committed to getting my glasses ready (with progressive lenses) within a couple hours so I could leave for my big trip . They finished my glasses on time and at a great price. I am impressed by the quality as well.

I actually chose to come here after reading a couple bad reviews. Me, Im a straight shot kinda person who doesnt need hand holding to get my eyes examined. I didnt wait but a couple minutes past my appointment time, the exam went quickly, he wasnt rude, his staff was very helpful. He made a few jokes. Was in and out pretty quick, and he didnt kill my wallet!

I have been coming here for years and have gotten several pairs of glasses. The staff have always been extremely helpful and courteous. Any time I stop in for an adjustment on my frames, they do it without a problem. Im due for new glasses and definitely plan on going back. I added this review because its hard for me to believe the bad reviews on here. I have never had one bad experience with them. I just referred a friend there. I am trusting she will have the same great experience as I have always had.

We have been coming here for about 3-4 years now, always outstanding service and products. I have to say this visit they went above and beyond. My husband loves his frames and their durability, so hes and easy customer, 3 years, same frame. I had to pick a new frame :). Even though they made every attempt over two days to adjust my new frames, I was unable to get any comfort or satisfaction. Regardless, they are progressive lenses and designer frames, Diane allowed me not only to pick new designer frames but they were able to re-cut my lenses and give everything back to me within 5 hours!!!! I have not experienced this type of customer service the entire 7 years we have lived here. Good staff and I hear very good reviews about the doctor.Eyewear is in the price range of $60 to $200, when I was there two years ago. My lens NEED to be Ultra thin, Progressive (good brand for I like a wide field of vision) and Glare Free; so I was very surprised at the cost? Most places are $150 and up, but I was able to get the lens to around $100. At the time I was there, I could also bring inMy own frame and just put lenses in, but they have a WONDERFUL selection of frames and I purchased 3 pair with lens. Only recently did a temple (side piece) break. Not sure if appointments are necessary to see the doctor and Im sure that some cost will be higher from 2014. Ill be back to see Joe, if hes still there? He had so much patience and I am one that has to try on every pair of glasses and thousands of questions; he never seemed bothered by either.

I just purchased my glasses from them last month after having a hard time finding another place that wouldn’t make me pay a lot out of pocket with vision insurance from Lee Health. The staff was super friendly and very helpful with the process and helping me understand my vision benefits. They also had a great collection of frames to choose from. I most likely will be back when my prescription expires!

I had a great experience here. Rushed my lenses to be ready in 1 1/2 days, and super friendly sales associate Dianne was extremely pleasant to deal with. I live 90 min away and visit Cape Coral every couple of weeks, and they have earned my future business, even tho they are not local to my home.

I have been to several optical locations in the area and the level of service I received at One Price Optical was unmatched. Upon arriving, I was warmly greeted by Hope. I was right on time for my appointment and was surprised how quickly I was seen by Dr. Evans. He was very thorough and informative throughout my exam. I decided to purchase glasses afterwards and was helped by Dianne who was especially friendly and patient while I decided on frames. I was so upset when my glasses broke because I thought I would need to come up with so much money to replace. Went in and saw Dianne who was so amazingly customer friendly and made sure to find the right frames so all she had to do was swap out frames and only pay a fraction for the frames. While visiting in Cape Coral I broke my glass frames. Found this place on Google maps and it wasnt very far and there was about an hour and a half till they closed. Went in and was waited on by a young lady who immediately started looking for a possible replacement frame. Another lady came over to help look together they found a suitable frame. Diane I think her name was went in the back to place my lenses in the frames. Within minutes she was finished. I was charged less than $100 and out on the road in 40 minutes!! I couldnt be more pleased with their service.

Husband needed new frames as his other frames were broken. The staff was incredible and worked with him (as a walk in on a Saturday), we had no appointment. I cannot begin to tell you how incredibly grateful we are. They were kind, helpful and worked with us until they found a solution. Thank you very much for everything. I had my eye exam and ordered two pair of glasses (regular and sun glasses) from One Price Optical. Todd and Joe both did a good job of explaining the lens options, etc. and assisted me with honest opinions while picking out frames. Joe assured me that if I didnt like/couldnt adjust to my progressive lenses, they would change them once for free. I did end up having my lenses changed. When I continued to have issues with my glasses Joe went out of his way to patiently assist me with correcting the problem. Thank you to ALL of the staff at One Price Optical (SORRY, I cant remember your receptionists name) for being to so nice and pleasant to deal with. I would recommend you to my friends.

SCAM!!!!! I went there 1/4/13 for they advertised $78 contacts exam. I even read the fine print before I made my appointment and said it would be different if I had astigmatism. Well I dont not have problem. I went along with my first part of an exam. ( Dr. Evans seemed not care, very boring personality ). The second part of exam he put the eyedrops in my eye and sent me to wait. This is when I was presented with the price of $278. What happened to the advertised $78? I was told that is the price because I need bifocal lenses and have to get their advertised contacts. I said I would like to just pay for the exam and forget those contacts. But the price still $278. Why did I got charge more? Nothing says about bifocal restrictions in the ad. REALLY???? What a SCAM!!!!! They will waste your time too.....

Bob and Diane are masters of their craft they helped me out while I was visiting from out of town. They did a great job fixing my glasses and I cannot thank them enough! True professions I would recommend them to anyone needing their services!

After being told the contact exam was $99 and went through the entire exam, the guy told us our total was $180. They came up with you have an astigmatism, so we would need to pay $80+ more. We asked if we could pay for just the exam, to which his response was we only offer package deals. I do not recommend this place as they try to, to put it figuratively, milk the cow.

My wife went there to get an eye exam and the doctor refused to see her because she is Spanish. She had an appointment and the doctor started the exam, but he stopped the exam after a few minutes and told her to go wait back by the receptionist desk. The receptionist then asked her if she speaks Spanish and she said i speak English and Spanish the receptionist then said well the doctor cant complete your exam today, you will need to reschedule with a Spanish doctor. My wife speaks perfect English. This doctor is just racist.

Based on all the negative comments and the responses Id like to go get an exam here.I see clearly people have misinterpreted their encounters and rather be told what they want to hear rather then what needs to be heard.And to the women saying he’s unprofessional for saying he’s glad you didn’t come in with makeup for a eye exam, he was complimenting that not degrading women that do it.Idk seems like dr. Evan keepin it real.Other reviews I read for other places are complaining of money being wasted and improper diagnoses, surgeries going wrong etc etc..Haven’t been here and I recommend it!! I have a son with down syndrome and he is always breaking his glasses. We have been going to then for over a year now and i am always happy when i walk out. They are always willing to help and cater to my sons needs, no matter what they are.

One price optical is a one stop shop for my whole family will never go anywhere else for eye care neither will my children!!Update went back a year later and they did it again we love this place and this is the only place to go for glass in cape coral best people around!

Just left One Price Optical fuming mad and feeling quite discriminated against. Dr actually said I cant treat people like your daughter. My daughter has a seizure disorder and has some cognitive impairment, but can walk, talk, read, write, and answer questions appropriately as well as correctly. Dr also questioned my decision to allow her to wear contacts. Asking can she even take them in and out herself? He refuses to see children under 18 which is his prerogative but my daughter is 18. He actually said right in front of her Its like trying to examine a 3 or 4 yr old.Unprofessional and rude and grossly exaggerated the difficulty examining my adult special needs child.

This was my 2nd time day, recheck up after a trial of contacts. I was using my vision insurance so I needed to complete this exam. Dr.Evans was very sarcastic and demeaning in behavior. Comments like its hard to see when youve been out drinking all night and Im glad your not earring makeup,because you cant imagine what some women look like all dolled up to come get an eye exam. Those are behond the most disrespectful unprofessional type things I would never want a doctor to tell me,or speak to me like that. Not to mention the level of the look of shock when you try to explain why your upset and frustrated to the office manager and she just remains stoic. So if your okay with this kind of level of service please go back, but if your reaction was like mind youll not let this Doctor get away with this behavior.

Ive been there twice, lured in by the $99 exam&glasses coupon. The Opticians were rude both times, just generally seem to be in a bad mood. The second time I went Im pretty sure I didnt get a real exam...I looked into a machine and told them where the red dot was, then he took my glasses into the other room for two minutes, and the exam was over. He said my perscription hadnt changed. Afterwards I tested my own vision and noticed my left lens wasnt quite right, and thinking back on the exam realized I had sort of been scammed. What a LAZY and DISHONEST thing to do. I should have said something but I just wanted to get OUT OF THERE! I will never go back, and reccommend you dont step foot in this place!!!

Extremely rude dr/staff that charge you one thing and your insurance a higher amount because they could care less if you owe difference through insurance, because they got their money. I should have ran away before when I came into a dark and ugly, old designed place with fake flowers everywhere and equipment from the 1900s, along with the rude staff and condescending doctor. Then its impossible to even get this through to them, including when insurance company contacted them directly. They are about to file a formal complaint because they cant even get the doctor to explain the difference in charges. I am very disappointed and cant even get it taken care of when business is aware of issue. Joe was demeaning and rude to me about it, saying,Do you expect for your exam to be free? and You know those supposed charges you were talking about?-Really!?! and thats okay when you disserviced your customer to begin with? If I could rate this place at zero stars I would, I recieved the completely worst experience of my life from a doctors office than I did here I have been wearing glasses for 18 years now and never have I ever seen such a unprofessional doctor in my life, he told me to go see a different doctor because my eyes were too confusing. He didnt even finish my exam before for telling me to leave. So rude from the very beginning telling me rude comments. Even the paperwork states NO HISPANIC MUST SPEAK FLUENT ENGLISH ONLY. Me being Hispanic it goes to show he is racist and didnt want to deal with one. Two employees up front were friendly but dont know how they put up with him!!! Me being a business owner would NEVER treat a customer with such disrespect and tell a paying customer to find somewhere else to go without even finishing their exam because my eyes are confusing. How are you a eye doctor if you cant even figure out a perscription??? This place needs to be shut down..

I scheduled my appointment here because I found it on my VSP site and its also really close to my home. I have to take off work early to make my appointment, for some reason this area doesnt have any offices open on Saturdays. I went in for my eye exam in an effort to make sure my eyes were healthy and to check if my vision had worsened.My intention wasnt to purchase any glasses that day but certainly take home my prescription. First of all, they couldnt find my sheet with my insurance info, it seems it was shredded the night before by mistake but before we knew this, the receptionist claimed I did not have VSP or wasnt eligible. I told him there was no way .. Ive only used my insurance once this year and that was to order my contacts since VSP gives you $150 allowance. So he stood corrected and later apologized.This Doctor according to the Patient form I filled out, does not accept patients that dont speak English! How outrageous is that considering this is Florida and its blatant discrimination. He also wouldnt prescribe eye drops for my sensitive right eye, I have never met an eye doctor that didnt prescribe drops for inflammation!! He says he cant check corneas or eye infections bc its medical!! He literally said, he wasnt trained for that and that he would lose business!!I pretty much wasted my time at this place. Ive scheduled another appointment in Ft. Myers who is a cornea specialist.

Great price on glasses for my daughter. Got two glasses for what in usually cost for me to get one pair anywhere else.
