Great people but need more checkers. 2 checkers vs 15 people in line. Counted. Thats okay but some of these Checkers to love to talk and slow down the process.

I go to Lucky occasionally. I really dont like the vibe. The meat department smells like fish most of the time. It doesnt look very appetizing.

Not very helpful here, and some managers/cashiers are downright rude. Experienced this several times so I avoid this place generally.

Luckys is a great place to shop for groceries. Lots of local foods and name brands. You can count on them not running out of what you need, under normal conditions. Like all grocery stores now, theyve got more aisles for products in the same space as before. Results being the size of the aisles shrinking leaving just barely enough room for two shopping carts to pass each other. All the grocery chains have done this. It makes everything too packed and slow. Lucky markets are as good as markets get. Thank you

I wish the clerks were taught how to install their store app. I had a hard time doing it. The clerks tried to help me. All the clerks were considerate and friendly. They reminded me of the Land Ends phone clerks. You know down home friendly folk Good sales.

Lucky store is clean and efficient. You can always find somebody to help you if you need it. The aisles are wide enough if you are in a wheelchair. Ive been going to that store for quite a while now all the checkers are very personable.

Poor customer service, outdated food, very long lines, no locally made food,very high prices.The store is pretty dirty !!

They need to have more checkers even if theyre from different departments. It doesnt matter what time of day usually only one main checker who Will call somebody finally....they are nice friendly store but come on 5 people in front of me 3/4 items each (like me)23mins I stood on line

This is not the biggest store in town, or the fanciest, but its a good mid-range grocery store where they have a meat counter and a deli counter that are both done well enough to satisfy most shoppers. I believe there are two things that make this store worthwhile. It has always had nice quality produce, and sometimes the best in town for certain things in season. They also sell a better grade of meat than Safeway, so I have confidence in the meat I buy, and often they have really good sales on their meant items.The best part of this store is the staff that works here. Always friendly and efficient, and willing to help you in any way.

Usually it takes forever for me to get out of this store because they are overrun with business at 5pm during the week... -tonight was surprisingly quiet- and super fast checkout - casheers are always always always friendly... I almost always find what I want

Most definitely wouldnt advise anybody to do their shopping there. I was shopping for steak and there was not just one but a bunch of steak that was already brown and smelly. I live just down the street and go there quiet often for miscellaneous things. Just not real shopping. Always long lines etc.

I will be going back to the store, because they are so nice, was going to buy avocados, but the guy was there working the display was throwing the avocados into the next display as to rotate but did not care if He bruised the avocados. So I did not get any, nothing like.bruised fruit.

A Lucky, what else to say except a great option for beach going families to save a bit by avoiding re$turant/take out prices. Directly adjacent to Santa Cruz Eastside beaches. Halfway between 41st St exit and the Point. Load up your coolers and party on. Friendly helpful staff.

Its a grocery store. It has reasonable prices and is open late, till midnight. It has a good selection of stuff.Im not sure what more I can say.

Been my local grocery store for years. Its not to large to be overwelming and not so small to run out of things. Butcheris great hes been there forever. Cashiers are always friendly.

Never been to this Safeway. Well stocked and staffed. Was helped by a really great young woman in the deli area. Only minus was the cashier kept shouting past me to have a personal conversation with another member of staff. Kinda irritating.

I go to this store if I need a quick run for an item or two because its closer to my home. I will never purchase any bakery items or meat items from the counter as, it smells really rancid all the time and Ive seen roaches in the bakery cases. Produce is iffy also.

The variety of foods is very good, usually always in stock, never past its due date. The cashiers and very nice and friendly.

Constant long lines. Sunday at 4pm and there are only two checkers.

Small overpriced grocery store. I was hoping for an actual change when they changed the name from savemart to their parent company lucky, but it seems that was the only thing that even happened... Just a name change.Too often I hear the clerks complaining about customers, the deli really sucks and they dont have bulk foods such as nuts, etc.This store has a very small selection of foods that is not very cheap and the store is not very clean either.I do not shop here anymore, unless I have no choice, even though I live across the street . I used to shop here all the time for a friend of mine that I took care of, but once he passed away that was the end of my patronage.The only reason for two stars is because they do have a bank of America atm which can be handy even though the B of A Branch is across the st

THEY DO NOT PULL EXPIRED ITEMS. I have been sold deli meat that expired the next day, expired marinades and creamer, freezer-burned ice cream, and produce that was 100% mold when i got it home! The one time I went in to exchange an expired item for a fresh one, the manager who followed me to the shelf acted like I was being hysterical and said oh people probably wouldnt get sick!! I am professionally trained in food safety, is it so weird of me to think a grocery store should follow the same rules a professional kitchen does??? To top it off this store never has enough staff and is obviously very much in need of updating. Its not dirty but its worn out if that makes sense. Im frustrated that I cant just get all my groceries at the Target and am forced to go here for certain items, because its really a terrible place to shop and Ive wasted a lot of money on SPOILED FOOD.
