Whole foods has lots of gluten-free and dairy-free foods, gluten free and goat milk foods can be hard to find so its pretty helpful having lots of options at one store And have more items than staff of life and New leaf.

Saturday night grocery haul! Now super fast since some of the COVID-19 protocols have been eliminated. Still have to mask up but it goes a lot faster! Now they have six packs of Italian sparkle water for just over six dollars. Great deal and easy carrying case! Produce is fresh and the berries are sweet.

Whole foods is such a fun store to go to. They have a little bit of everything and the quality of everything they sell is top notch. The cashiers are friendly and upbeat. A nice store (albeit pricey but worth it).

This whole foods is a little on the small side but still has a great selection of everything. And of course their bakery department is awesome they also carry my favorite Sumanos Bakery Watsonville sourdough

WF has it down when it comes to presentation. Yes, theyre expensive but some are willing to endure that simply for the experience of walking through their stores where there is a great variety and organization. My issue and the reason for the 2 stars is their staff. I have on more than one occasion dealt with a surly staff member at this location. They seem to think that they are part of an elite because they work at WFs or they are simply disgruntled for some reason. Either way, they need a good lesson in PR. I tend to avoid the store now and head to TJs where folks are pleasant.

Great upscale grocery store focusing on health foods and eco/mindful products featuring freshly made food buffet/pizza/bakery/coffee shop. Now owned by Amazon, the prices are very reasonable, the store is extremely attractive, customer centered, and offers bulk bins. From the gorgeous produce department featuring organic produce and beautiful flowers to the fresh seafood to the meat counter to the extensive wine department, everything is displayed beautifully.Their sales are good and prime members get an additional 10% off on sale items. The food court includes many vegan options. This store is just plain fun to shop. The staff is very friendly and seem to take pride in their work. The store is very clean and bright.My favorite department is the produce department. There is a huge variety of lovely, juicy produce at very good prices. Organic and not GMO products are available and clearly marked. Fresh flowers Grace this department as well as house plants. In the spring and summer they offer garden plants and herbs.There are child sized carts for the little ones and a selection of fresh fruit that children are encouraged to enjoy a piece as they shop.There are often sample tables for various products.If this review was helpful, please click LIKE. Whole foods is great, not my grocery store of choice but still excellent

I bought dinner from the hot bar. Went for a short drive to eat it and found it was cold like it came from a refrigerator. Cant believe I paid $10 a pound.

My locals store for fresh produce and vegan items.

I only shop here because its close to my house. Its hit or miss with the employees, some are rude some are indifferent and a few are really nice. I just think for the price the attitude doesnt match.

As always Whole Foods is a great place to go to shop if you dont want to think about anything but really good stuff. Best wine best cheese best meat best bread no no no no not the best typical bread but other lots of items luxury items and a great crowd of people very chic. I was Joy myself when I go there but times have changed it seems a little bit more functionally perfect but the cheese department is not as good as several other markets in town, and the meat you could feed an army on this meat counter oh my God there is no possibility that anybody will starve in the world, I was looking for frozen yogurt popsicles nothing I go here for Lululemon Lulas chocolate, and never eat prepared food, and the parking lot is always a trip. Still on my top agenda stop before heading back into the country.

I was at the store today and I was very disappointed with the customer service, unusual.The girl at the cash register name Isabel I believe this how her name spelled very rude, no Hi no thank you I told please don’t put my cake in the bag she saw the other girl put my cake in the bag did not say anything until I said please don’t put that in the bag, I asked her if she’s okay she looked at me in a rude way and turned her face! I love this place and most of the employees are friendly but they should train their employees to treat customers better than this.

Of late Ive been shopping on line with delivery to the car. Pop the trunk, theyll load it, no contact. Also have been getting some excellent prices on certain days. I havent figured out how it works but check it out. I picked up some frozen pizzas from -2.50 to $4.50. Later in the week they w back to $7.50 to $10. I added a couple stars for now. I hope they keep it up.

This whole foods is very centrally located and has excellent customer service. Just like all Whole Foods stores a bit on the expensive side. But you usually get what you pay for. Definitely recommend

I only shop at Whole Foods occasionally. Great meat department except the area where they sell the fish it always stinks.

I normally dont frequent this store because of the prices (whole paycheck!( for weekly grocery shopping but I was pleased to find very high quality and affordable produce so I stocked up on vegetables and some pantry items with my Amazon prime discount. Time well spent!

I was very disappointed with the rotisserie chicken that I purchased. When I got home I discovered that it had been packaged breast side down which caused the skin to become soggy, slimy and gross. This is the second time that I have had this experience. I decided to call to find out if this was the new way of packaging and I was told that some people do back up and some breast up. When I asked if that could be changed he didn’t not seem to think that it was a problem and suggested that I try shopping at the Santa Cruz store. I am very sad that I will need to find another place to shop and if you also prefer a dark unsoggy skin on your chicken you might want to as well.

I consider this to a boutique sized store but they still have a really good selection of items and I often use the Amazon Lockers located inside the store. Also, the staff is really helpful.

This is a well run supermarket. Always neat. Friendly staff, I mean really genuine, people being themselves. This to me is huge.The hot coffee is surprisingly good and relatively inexpensive. Really, all the prepared food is top notch, but for me, prohibitively expensive. The bulk stuff was however less expensive than I expected.I really like their selection of wine - not that I could even afford most of it. Though they do have 2 different affordable labels. As I recall the 3 dollar bottle gets one drunk and might make a fine sangria, but does not inspire me to try it again some day. The $5 dollar bottle may be worth a try for those who do more than window shop in that area of the store.Everything is fresh and they have at least a billion forms of fake meat. Great dairy. Almost anything you may need, if you can afford it.

The store is very nice like any aother Whole Foods clean and good selection on produce and food know that’s the exterior look know let me tell you about the interior look at Whole Foods Capitola frome some ones point of view working there I was at the meat Dept and one of the things I was most astonished was they sell conventional poltry as organic plus health Dept walked in there in one ocasione that a family got food poisoning frome one of their ground pork meats as I was being askde frome the health inspector store manager Andy Jumps in trying to act like everything is ok and difusing it when in reality you have a couple colleagues on their phones gotta stay in touch with Instagram and Facebook right some of the things they have Like sausage and stuffed portobello mushrooms and stuffed jalapeños are the things I’d try to avoid gets extra shelf life when supposed to be salvaged over all its all good so what theres some employees who need rertraining in washing there hands but some what ok just depends who’s working back there. Can’t go wrong with sunny Capitola

Lack of face masks and cleanliness. An email I sent to the company, which I think others should see.Hi Whole Foods folks,Typically I enjoy Whole Foods as part of my routine grocery shopping route in Santa Cruz CA. However, after shopping today I was stunned by how few employees were wearing masks. Other grocery stores and essential business have respectfully began to wear masks for the safety of those at risk. Even if employees would rather not listen to the CDC, State, and Federal recommendations of wearing masks it seems as though a prominent business would make the right choice to ask all employees to do so. I would have thought Whole Foods as a company would step up to the plate out of respect of the health of others. I will be reconsidering where I shop if this continues to be the way your company treats the situation. An email response saying that you’ll change is not enough. Action should be taken for the sake and health of others.Respectfully,Nic

Fruit i purchased spoiled very fast. Portion sizes in some of their organic products are quite tiny which translates in very costly per lb price.

Ive always loved that Whole Foods is beautifully lit without the whitewashed, over-lit fluorescent or harsh white LED lighting of other stores. No more: a recent update has made this store at least 50% brighter. I now get splitting headaches from the bad lighting at this location and, where for decades I enjoyed my experiences at Whole Foods in general, and particularly this store- now I avoid it and, when I do go, am in and out as fast as I can be...much like those sometimes necessary but not preferable trips to Safeway.

This is a really nice Whole Foods. It is a little more spacious than most Whole Foods, and well staffed. The selection of food is great as you would expect, and of course somewhat high prices to match. The man at the fish counter was nice and helped to clean several fish for me. The line at the checkout wasn’t too long also, and plenty of parking.

Since being purchased from Amazon, it is much more customer service oriented! Their roasted chickens are the best, always cooked right and they are open to standing orders. If its not ready on time, they will deliver it to you!

I absolutely love this Whole Foods, WHY you may ask. Because the staff are amazing and go above and beyond, ESPECIALLY the bakery department. I have gotten cakes decorated quite a few times and they are always spectacular and beautiful. I will always come back because of their skills and attention to detail. I think they all deserve a raise and a pat on the back.

Whole foods in next level! Premium quality food. I really enjoy buying there. If were going to make sushi, we know were going here to buy our salmon.

This chain is awesome as a health food maga market. Everything you need and more. Lots of prepared foods & pizza bar. Deli fresh to order sandwiches and health drinks. We would recommend this Supermarket chain.

They have everything health food. Meaning that theres an awful lot of undesirable and unhealthy things on their shelves dash like most health food stores. So one has to be a pretty careful shopper. Their produce is very high quality. The prepared food in there deli is not organic, which is annoying.They do have pizza in their deli and its darn good. The customer service is excellent.With all their talk about reducing their prices and about even further reduced prices for prime member, they are still very expensive.

I do admit you cant beat the quality and selection. Realistically the prices are out of my range. If someone else was paying my grocery bill I think I could really enjoy the shopping experience.I prefer to go to Shoppers Corner a block and a half away. The produce section is great, butchers are old school, baggers are cute, friendly young girls and you are supporting a local business.

This store is grossly overpriced, has terrible hours, rude employees, and I can not stand the fake local healthy business vibe that they try to put off.They do have a great self service hot food and salad bar, which is the only reason I ever come here.

I love the prime deals. They make good quality whole foods less expensive than Safeway.

Prime members can get shopping and pickup service for free.

I only was there once and I found what I needed at a fair to high price but the service was outstanding and if I had gone back I would have married the person that waited on me

Great customer service. Although Amazon touted that when they combined with whole foods there would be a reduction in price, one still needs to shop the other health food stores because many items are still less money at the other stores . In terms of health food markets, they have the best bakery goods . You can get a cannoli filled at the time you buy it so you can get to eat one that isnt soggy
