I have visited this stores 2 times to replace my phone. First time - I was assured that all my information would be available on my new phone but when I got home it was not. Contacts were not intact & favorites were missing. My Facebook, YouTube, Pandora account, and all of my shopping and games were just gone. I called the help line 4 times and they were very helpful and were able to get some issues resolved. A second trip involved a factory reset and assurance that it would work this time. It didnt. I am trying to reconstruct my life and though it has been a very long process I am making progress on my own. Generally, I am more than happy with AT&T and recommend them often to friends and family. But on this occasion, I was not satisfied.

Nathan at Carbondale is amazing and treats everyone with so much respect this guy deserves a raise, pretty sure bad comments about timing are just from impatient customers but I saw everyone in that store doing everything they could for anyone who walked in had a great time which isn’t something usual with trying to set up 2 new phones. When I brought my drowning iPhone in after dropping it in water, Amanda was able to act quickly to transfer my data onto a new phone. She explained my upgrade thoroughly & what started as a difficult situation ended so well. All the employees in the store were kind & helpful. Thank you!

I love the price of my phone contract but they never have enough staff to take care of customers. I had to leave because the wait would have been at least 45 minutes to 1hour. Terrible customer service.

Felt has if I was taking up there time. Acted as if they didnt want to help. I felt as if my problems were not that big of a concern. She/ manager did help with a couple of my issues. My main concerns were not taken care of. I have made multiple attempt by phone to resolve my situations and told they have been taken care of to find out later it wasnt taken care of. I dont know why I have to repeatedly make these calls. Now that Im able to go in store I knew for sure my issues would be resolved. They werent!

The lady that waited on me was simply awesome she took care of my needs and very nice and polite she was really a fine lady I dont know about the rest of them I never talked to anybody but her. But all the experiences I have had there has been good ones I truly can say I believe that if you need a cell phone or other products that might be a good place to go.

We made an appointment in line through our AT&T app. However, when we got to the store we were told it didn’t open until 1/2 an hour later. Their times changed due to the Pandemic. Yet, they didn’t correct it on the app. If they can’t see you, an appointment shouldn’t be able to be made. This is an easy fix and a customer should not have to be inconvenienced.

Store was clean, we were greeted promptly even though every associate was with customers. Then we got paired up with Patrick, whom I recommend 12/10. He was kind, honest, helpful, and knew what he was doing. Havent been that impressed with customer service in a very long time. We walked away extremely happy. Will be back.

I called ahead of time to see if they had any Samsung Galaxy Buds in stock and I talked to Samantha and she was very very nice and polite and she held them for me!!! When I got there everyone was very nice and polite and they all greeted me!!! Samantha sold me the buds and was very nice to even pair them up to my phone too!!! Went in with a damaged phone expecting to have to get a new one. They explained to me all of the details of the insurance and informed me of the steps needed to be taken, even though my situation wasn’t necessarily textbook as a simple insurance claim. Damien and Crystal were both huge helps and went beyond what I have encountered in other stores. From things as simple as holding the door for people to being willing to go a bit out of the job description to make sure people are taken care of and understand all of the options clearly; you two are why I will be an AT&T customer and will make the extra drive to do my business with this store!

Absolutely love this store. The design on the outside looks so unique in Carbondale, giving the whole building an exclusive feel. When inside, the associates are readily available to help, and can answer just about any questions you might have. They have some really cool tech that you can go in to the store to try out before purchasing, or if you are just wanting to do some research on different products. Always a great experience.

I would like to thank Bart, the manager of the Carbondale,Il. Store. But, especially one of the members of the Att. Staff Nick Lukancic, a Polite young man I met recently when I had issues with iPhones I had ordered from Att.When I received the new phones I went through the iCloud transfer process. All went well until some of the data was not transferred completely on one of the phones so I connected a second time that’s when the problem started. The phone was paralyzed “ICloud updating” shown on screen apps would not load etc. I did what Apple recommended to correct the problems with no success. I called att customer service and they recommended for me to go to the nearest att store. One of the young girls at My old store in Waterloo,Il that I talked to over the phone was not very helpful in taking Care of my needs before I ordered these phones online. I was to the point that I was going to change companies and this young girl didn’t seem to care. So, I needed a new Store to help me. I called the Att Carbondale store on Friday 3/13/20 I talked to Bart the Manager of the C’dale store. He is a very polite courteous young man. Bart asked me to bring the phone in and they would be happy to take care of the problem. I took the phones in on Saturday and that’s when I met Nick. He set down with me,I explained the the problem, then he took on the problem like a true professional and in a very short time he had all problems corrected, data transferred and the IPhone 7 operating perfectly and even made sure everything was transferred correctly on the other IPhone 7 for my wife. I wondered what what I had done wrong in this process and after listening to me explain what had happened, He determined that it was most likely our internet quality, we have Frontier communications internet where I live and we do not have very good internet connection and Quality . So, I would like to Thank Nick Lukancic Very Much for all his Help and Like to Strongly Recommend The Att store in Carbondale,Il. and it’s staff if you are having any problems at all or needs because they have restored my confidence in this Company. I believe I have found a Att store that will take care of my need for Years to come .

I would NOT recommend the Carbondale, Illinois store for anything major. They managed to mess up my account multiple times. I have 7 phones on one account, and every single thing I do requires phone calls and at least one trip back for them to fix the problem. I am currently here once again for another fix on my account, and as usual they are taking no responsibility for their actions. Do yourself a favor and do not utilize this branch.

I like AT&T. The people are friendly & helpful in some ways. When I got my new phone, they showed me how to get my pictures from my old phone to the new one, but when I got home somehow I couldnt get the pictures on to the new phone. They had me to call phone Tec & they would walk me thru it. I think that AT&T should have put pictures on new phone since they did the contacts for me. They said that they wasnt qualified to do thatwhich Doesnt make since to me.

I am a person who is very set in my ways (typical female?) After 5 years with Verizon I am now an At&t customer. The customer service was great, even though we had to make another 40 min trip to Carbondale Sunday. We got the new Samsung Galaxy s10e. I got the last pink phone! We even got direct TV that day, direct TV has been a challenge to get our order right, we said we needed 3 receivers they only ordered one. But I guess things cant always go smoothly. Anyway I got a pink phone, and Im more than tickled about it.

Long time customer who broke his phone with 5 months left on his contract. They didnt offer to buy out the remaining even though I was ready to start a new 24 mo contract. Just seemed like they didnt care. Ill finish out the remaining 5 months then take my business to Verizon.

I called 3 times and went thru the prompts and chose the option to speak to a store representative.. 3 times in a row I was hung up on. That is ridiculous. They must not want my $900 for the phone or the thousands b ey would babe got out of me on a 2 year contract I was ready to commit to. A phone company with nobody that answers the phone lol ridiculous

Bad management.inconsistant procedures...terrible conflict resolution. Employee wanted to charge me $5 for sim then waived it when I was too much of bother for her because she wasnt t going to make commission selling me all the products I didnt need, like I told her when I walked in and she didnt listen. The store manager can hold a door pretty good though. Bye AT&T wireless and DirecTV.

I just stopped in the store, stood there for 10 min. Not one person even spoke to me. An associate was talking football and basketball with another customer. I had broken my phone and was trying to decide between buying a new one or making an insurance claim to get it replaced. I came home and did the claim myself. I tried to call the store to let them know how dissatisfied I was with their service and couldnt get them to answer 3 times. I hope they get to read this. Carbondale Il. Is dieing! Businesses are closing left and right. You all might want to brush up on your customer service.

Complete waste of my time. I went in because my phone not connecting to the internet. The rep was so incompetent. Dince she could not figure out the issue she began trying to sell me a new phone in which I did not need, so she got an attitude with me and gave me the AT&T service number in which the phone rep was able solved my issue in less than 3 minutes while I was driving home.

Worst experience of my life at an AT&T, they were rude, impatient with my issues, and I had to wait an insane amount of time. This is by far the worst AT&T in the tri state area. Ive been to multiple other locations and never been treated how they treated me. If I were anyone else I would skip this place, and take the extra drive to mt Vernon, Benton, or Marion. Save yourselves the headache.
