I have been many times mostly for the red velvet cocoa but this time I got the cookie butter ice blended thing and it was exactly what it was. A cookie butter ice blended drink. It was sweet but had a nice salty/baked note to it that kept it balanced. Will go again (obviously). Staff is very sweet as well!

The coffee tasted great (blended cookie butter). But the staff was terribly unorganized. 5 drinks on the counter unclaimed for in the 20 minutes or so that I waited for my drink to be made. Customer and customer and customer who ordered after me were claiming drinks as they were called and I puzzled why I hadn’t had mine yet. Asked about it finally, then they made a HOT one and I said no it was supposed to be blended. Waited another few minutes. Not even a “okay you can have this one and we will remake it” or even a free drink or something. “10% off” would have sufficed for me and I would have been happy. This was my first time trying coffee bean and tea and when I ordered I let them know that. Asked what was popular and their favorite drink. UNIMPRESSED with this location.

Excellent choices of unique coffee and tea and far better than that large chain coffee place ha. Staff so friendly, manager Drew totally sets the example and tone - miss him lately. They will make your drink exactly the way you want.BTW Mobile orders you can tip too.

The staff was nice, but I got an Americano and it tasted like salt. I got home and couldnt drink it. The lid didnt seem to fit very tight and it was poured to the top, so every tiny movement resulted in hot coffee spilling out.

Good coffee and food. The help at Calle Barcelona, Carlsbad location is kind of inexperienced

Let me tell you something.....if you want your customer service staff is lacking in their customer service qualities. Tell him to go to THIS COFFEE BEAN!!! Every single staff member at this location is the best! They welcome you with. Good morning and a smile. They treat you like you are a part of their family. I have never been to a single franchise coffee place that treats you like this. And I have been to many many coffee beans and I will always be a loyal number one customer to this one location always!! The general manager at this location is amazing!!!!

Excellent place to grab a coffee or tea and hang out. Drinks are always great (and never burnt) and at competitive prices. Coffee Bean provides indoor and outdoor seating. Indoor seating is limited but they do have outlets if you need to study. There is plenty of outdoor seating but no power supply. Plenty of parking too since it is in a shopping center. Staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.

We keep kosher so we were expecting a small coffee shop with really not much that we could eat. Nearly everything in the store has a kosher symbol we ended up eating a meal. We each had a sandwich with a fancy drink, and a pastry for dessert. The two people working there were so nice and helpful. My little son even commented Wow she seems in a really good mood. It felt like a really positive experience.

Fast and courteous staff. They greet everyone who walks in with a genuine smile. I only get hot drinks, and the micro-foam they produce is superb. Well worth it to get the rewards app as well. Drew is a great manager and works with employees, giving an overall vibe of solid teamwork.

I absolutely love this coffee place anytime I am in the area I stop by and grab some coffee. I have never been disappointed by there quality or their customer support. Definitely worth stopping by and trying it out.

The vanilla bean in a 12 ounce bag is my favorite and when you buy any bag of coffee you get a free coffee to go, or tea.

My guilty pleasure. Coffee Bean is my go to for frozen coffee because its typically less sweet than the major competitor. The key is the free drink with a $30 reload on their store card. Its a much better deal than the other guys. Also, if youre not a big milk fan, get your drinks extreme. They mix it with more coffee and leave out the milk. Also check out the No Sugar Added mixes.

Quick, friendly service and the only place to get Tea! The “other place which shall not be named” doesn’t even come close to the flavors of the CBTL coffees and teas. The Tropical Passion Iced Tea is the best. Pastries are great too.

Friendly service, but.... 😊 Ordered a cup of capichino with almond milk. Maybe I am just spoiled with Vietnamese coffee experiences, bit this cup was just awful 😏I did not complain, as usual but I hate to say at Starbucks I do get more consistent results from them i.e. my coffee tastes the save almost every time.Maybe this was result of leaving them no tip. I am just getting fed up with all these places that started treating the tip as part of the revenue.Why should I give any tip prior to receiving any service? Or should I say, why should I give anyone a tip while they take my money for the service I have not yet received...Ok, I am off my soap box.

Very good drink options and friendly baristas. I prefer Coffee Bean over Starbucks. To me the drinks taste better and the atmosphere is comfortable, its nice to just sit in the patio area and read a book or have a nice conversation.

I was a little uncomfortable walking in there about 5 min before closing on Sunday ( Im sure they were looking forward to 8 Oclock), but I had to get my fix before heading back home and jumping back on I-5 NB . The young man at the register greated ys with a friendly smile. Service was great, fast n friendly, as other times Ive been there.

I have been coming to this location for about 15 years. I have always had a great experience. Friendly baristas and theyre really speedy as well. Highly recommend.

Went for breakfast on Sunday. Got yogurt, but discovered the container was broken. It took 10 minutes for them to allow me to grab a new one. They also forgot to make my drink so I had to wait another 10 minutes for that. With 3 people working, that is entirely unacceptable.
