Undoubtedly the best experience Ive ever had at the eye doctor. Everyone is helpful, friendly and very welcoming. Ive been to many eye doctors and never one like here. I recommend this business to anyone needing an eye exam or glasses.

Nice people, fast professional service, the eye doctor has a sense of humor unlike most of the quiet and boring doctors that needs to loosen up. I recommend them to anyone. The only negative things I can say is they dont have a large selection on eye glasses and they only accept one insurance. Fix those 2 problems 5 star for sure.

Once they call you back it goes guick they have a machine for just about everything to check your eyes. The girls are all friendly and know there job. Doctor is fast explains what is going on. Then you go to front and get checked out over all visit is good.

Super friendly staff, Doctor was very informative and answered any questions I had. The facility was clean and had a lot of up to date tech (it was nice not having to get my eyes dilated). 10/10 would definitely recommend!

I like the options for glasses and the front desk, support staff and Optician are great. My only concern was that my contacts tooks an extra few months to come in. My contacts are special due to my circumstances but this is not the first time this has happened.

I dreaded getting new glasses, however after I met Chanel Giddens my worries evaporated. She was very kind, understanding, and knowledgeable. She offered me helpful hints and even helped me choose the frames, after I asked her to. Glasses are not cheap but Chanel made the experience less painful. Sincerely, Ken Nelson

Dr. Was was very nice but their billing department stinks. First visit went great but the second one only saw the dr. two minutes and he couldnt help me out with my issue so he told me no charge but still relieved a bill...

Because of my situation the Lions Club approved a free exam and pair of glasses and sent me to Vision Source. Everyone was nice and polite all the way through the process, I wasnt treated as though I couldnt pay and, when I was told to pick my frames from a certain area, I assumed that there would be few options and all of them funky. Not so, there were dozens to choose from and they were very nice and of excellent quality. When I got my glasses, I was again treated extremely well and when I put them on I was shocked at how much of the world Id been missing for nearly a decade. I would give them a sky full of stars if I could. And, this may be normal these days but they give you a large container of lens cleaner and it nearly doubles as an air freshener, smells so good. Thanks again to Dr. Franz and his awesome staff.Eddie Hopper

We love the care we receive from the office here. We especially love Kathy when she fits our glasses. She really takes the extra time to make sure we are happy.

I always try to find the good and things, therefore I hardly ever leave negative reviews.... but this place is one of the worst establishments I have ever been to. They got my prescription wrong, FOUR times. I had to wait two weeks before each new prescription, so it took me 3 months before i finally got the correct glasses I paid for. On top of that, every time I took the prescription to walmart it was without a doubt messed up in some fashion. Either the name was wrong, the date was wrong, or they gave me someone elses prescription entirely. When they finally came to terms with just giving me my old prescription, they still got the prescription and the paperwork itself wrong. It was absolutely inferiorating as they wouldnt take me seriously because of my young age. I had to bring my mother in to hassle with them for new prescriptions that I could see out of, instead of whatever garbage they were trying to stick me with.

The doctors at Vision Source Carlsbad are the best I have ever worked with regarding eye care. They find me the perfect contact lenses and make sure they dont irritate my eyes before leaving the office.I appreciate their time and commitment to helping me.

The staff is friendly the doctor is good, the equipment they use is amazing..but the wait for your glasses is way longer than you are told..

My husband got a piece of metal in his eye yesterday evening and when he woke up this morning he knew what was going on so I started calling eye doctors here in Carlsbad asking when they could see him and how much it would cost. This friendly office worked in at 11 am and the charge was only $117 that they let me pay with an out of state check. Thats a very reasonable charge considering what Dr. Kuntz did and that another place, on W. Pierce, told me the charge would be $195 for the office visit plus $135 for the removal of the metal!Im very pleased with the services we received this morning at Vision Source. Dr. Kunz was amazing. I felt like he really listened to what I had to say. My 4 year old son also had an appointment the same say and was feeling kind of nervous, the doctor and the rest of the staff were so great with him.

Do not go to this place for glasses, the Drs know what they r doing but the frames section lab takes forever to get ur frames in, so frustrating
