Our company’s HQ is in west clay so every morning my wife and I walk to zing and get something. I love every smoothie I’ve had there and my wife loves the classic hot chocolate and different breakfast sandwiches. They do offer egg whites and turkey sausage if you’re watching how you eat. Pricing is fair the smoothies are same cost as any place in a mall and quality is the same if not better. Inside of zing is well decorated. Comfy spot on a crisp fall morning.
Good breakfast sandwiches and friendly staff..have not tried any lunch items as of yet.
The gluten free bread for sandwiches is AMAZING! I usually get the California Turkey with a smoothie and it’s always so good.
I really want to love Zing, but this isnt the first time theyve messed up my order. I ordered a large coffee (got a medium), breakfast sandwich (bacon missing), and light roast coffee (only had medium roast available), all of which I realized after leaving a tip. It wasnt worth complaining about, but I wont be back.
Not so great sandwiches. Bread was stale.
Cozy coffee/bistro, excellent maple syrup bagels; kids options too. Excellent service; the mocha frappe with extra coffee was great!
Cute coffee shop and friendly service.
Turkey club sandwiches were fabulous
Excellent customer service
Asked for an iced white mocha got hot instead. I decided it wasn’t worth complaining about. So to take the first drink it is just warm milk no coffee. The whole time I’m in there they are counting their tips and talk about the camp fire they went to paying no attention to the work. Won’t be going back.
The most disappointing coffee Ive had in several years. Its weak and bland with a hint of bitter. I ordered a white chocolate mocha blended, my husband had the same iced. His is undrinkable. Mine is barely drinkable. For $4.69, I expect to enjoy my beverage. Its hardly worth mentioning the atmosphere of a coffee shop with such horrible coffee, but I will. The decor cant decide if its current, early aughts, or late 90s. All at once it wants to be cheerfully modern, Panera contemporary, and tacky, house-wife industrial. The space is cramped, the table are small (and dirty!), the chairs are uncomfortable. The coffee menu is tacked to the side like an afterthought - which clearly it is.Despite all this, the place is packed. I see a lot of smoothies. Maybe those are ok. Maybe people just dont want to give up a drink that was so expensive. I know thats why Im still here.
Went on a date here. They were out of mocha! Cool spot.
Really nice little cafe. I only got a drink but my caramel latte was excellent! Very creamy and not too sweet. Employees were friendly and the seat backs were very soft so thats a plus in my book. Would definitely go back if it wasnt so far away from me.
I ordered a medium cappuccino and it really is like a latte or even weaker... hardly any coffee flavor at all.🙁 I can say they have a banana chocolate swirl bread that was yummy... very disappointed in the coffee.. the high school kids don’t know what they are doing!! Although they were very nice.. but a bad cup of coffee at a coffee house doesn’t cut it!!
Cute Cafe, some indoor and outdoor seating. Nice staff, and menu selections. Used Kraft single for the cheese - a bit disappointing on a good bagel sandwich. Mocha and smoothie, good, but not the best.
I ordered online and picked up in the cafe. They forgot 2 muffins and a side of hummus which was half my order. I didn’t notice until I got home so I had to walk all the way back to correct the order. I was trying to call ahead and let them know but they weren’t picking up. I arrived a little past 1:30 and they were closed. Everywhere the hours are posted it says they close at 2pm. Another guy arrived the same time as he and he said that they close early a lot - so this is obviously a reoccurring thing. The coffee is good enough but the wraps are very overpriced for the amount of food they put in them. Mine wasn’t full at all.
This is a nice place the service was good and the coffee was hot it is a nice place definitely will be back
Excellent latte and quite place to chat. Will be back soon.
West Clay is a lovely little village, most unexpected really given the location. It feels like youre stepping back in time despite only being built in 2004. The cafe has awesome sandwiches, makes a change from the big brands that are on all the street corners!
Great Cuban wrap!
The food and drinks are good. The coffee is not great, but the special drinks are good. The sandwiches vary, but are usually pretty good. The main reason Im only rating 3 stars is due to the high pricing of the food. Which was appropriate when they first opened, but it should not be anymore. For food I can make in my own house for a few dollars its a little crazy. Overall good vibe though. Good for a neighborhood food stop.
Very Average. I ordered Namaste wrap and my friend got Mango-pineapple juice smoothie. We both were very underwhelmed with our orders. Place is very nice and possibly, coffee is good, but will have to try it out. I know I am not coming back for food, though.
Delightful lil place in West Clay with delicious coffee (the small was huge!) and breakfast sandwiches. The prices are great and the service was accommodating to all my moms questions :) The patio area is great for people & dog watching!
Honestly such an amazing cafe. The food is great and the staff is incredible!
Visited on July 3, 2019.Ordered 2 ham and cheese to go.Received 2 sort of ham and cheese, but not what was advertised, and they came out in paper boats - not to go as specified. 1 piece of ham from a grocery store with a slice of American cheese on some dry, flavorless bread. No pepper jack, no Zing mayo - as advertised on their menu. Also, out of cinnamon flavoring for the latte. This plus a small latte for $20.00ish.Lousy and disappointing. This place in the not so distant past was really good. 😞Not the case now.
Huge variety of meals and drinks. Food taste good. Perfect place for breakfast and/or lunch. Would recommend it to others, and will probably visit again.
YES! Finally a coffee shop and cafe in the Village of West Clay! I visited for the first time today and was assisted in making a drink selection by the friendly staff! They even self-corrected how they rang up my drink to ensure I got the best deal! The environment is trendy and relaxing! Its the perfect place to meet friends for coffee, breakfast, or lunch! It was such a good experience that Im back here for lunch! The chicken pesto sandwich is delicious! The owners are involved, walking around, are super helpful!
I was just in the other day, and had a terrific experience! Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the food was great. I had the Big Zing breakfast sandwich (amazing), and a pumpkin latte (so much better than Starbucks). I will definitely be back on a regular basis. Great job on the decor, layout and menu!
Comfortable atmosphere and delicious coffee. Strong WiFi and clean restrooms. I had a toffee nut mocha and my friend had a white chocolate toffee nut latte. We also had a white chocolate raspberry scone, which was delicious and moist, unlike ordinary scones which are usually too dry. We also consumed a chocolate chip cookie, which was equally delicious. The surrounding area is very scenic, with well-kept walking paths and sidewalks, as well as elegant houses. Overall a very pleasant visit, and I look forward to returning very soon!
Zing has a good environment and the staff is nice but they NEVER manage to get my order right. Today I made sure to check before I left to discover my order was wrong, again. I brought it to their attention that they left the bacon off my bacon breakfast sandwich, and they fix it by putting a curled up half piece (singular) of bacon on it. Plus they raised their prices so theres a bit of a double negative now. I dont know if I will be going back, and that says a lot because I work in the village and there really arent many breakfast food options.
Went for lunch. Ordered a salad which consisted of shredded lettuce, 1 square slice of American cheese, and salad dressing. Needless to say I would never go back.
Jess and Jamie are the best.
They said it best in the Broadway musical, Hamilton: when it comes to coffee here, I can never be satisfied.
Liked the ambience. Good food. But took a long time (more than half hour) to serve the sandwich.
The coffee was surprisingly amazing and the breakfast sandwiches were delicious. Quiet cafe and comfy chairs. Definitely worth a try.
The atmosphere was amazing and I was amazed at how clean it was compared to many other quick-service restaurants. The small space made it better for communicating and the music only enhanced the experience more. In addition, I also noticed how kind they were to kids in the restaurant and treated them with respect, unlike other places. The staff was kind to everyone. On the food, I have never been happier. The english muffins were ecstatic and it was warm (they gave great butter!!!!). I have also gotten a bagel and it was made with perfection. The prices were the only bad thing. They were overpriced, but for the food it was worth it. I will definitely come here again!
The food at zing cafe is fantastic and the ladies that work there are very friendly but seem as if they are under a lot of pressure. New ownership has really brought this once thriving cafe to the ground.
So cute and everyone was so nice. Brought in 2 kids and had a nice relaxing lunch. Love it and will definitely be back
Great service. Hot chocolate was weak in chocolate and prices were high.
Interesting menu choices, good coffee. All women are required to wear spandex in this neighborhood, be sure not to violate the dress code. :-)
This place rules! The place is usually buzzing with activity - great table layout for meetings and the food is fantastic. Really great spot.
Nice little cafe in Village of Westclay. Friendly staff. Food and coffee drinks are not bad.
Weve only been there once but they were very helpful and friendly with good food and coffee. We frequent them if they were closer to home for us but wont simply because of the distance. Wish they were nearby!
Very yummy food, great addition to the Village of West Clay shoppes. Can take a while to get the food during rush times, for example in the morning before work (not so bad, maybe 5 minute wait, and usually not that).
Clean, had Cuban wrap was good. Immature staff. Most likely will not go back
Best coffee house around! I love that I can get my breakfast with gluten free bread, cooked the way I want. Delightful staff!
Exactly what you might expect, but more. Hole in the wall that belongs in New York or Boston where you get a good cup of coffee and a fresh bagel sandwich.
Had evening coffee outside one evening. It was a nice time. Didnt have any food, but the menu selections look very good also
Some people ordered food. It looked good
Great tasting coffee in a friendly street front shop. We love it.
Peter recommended this place to me for the delicious and healthy breakfast/lunch options and I was not disappointed.
It is a small coffee shop surrounded by beautiful homes. Great environment and peppermint latte was fantastic.
Out of the one thing I wanted after only being open for an hour. Great way to disappoint customers for the rest of the day because you arent prepared for the demand.
Neat little cafe with lots of food/drink options. Employees are consistently very friendly and accommodating.
Great service! Super cute! Smoothies are made with agave and are amazing! 😃
Stopped in for a coffee Americano, in between meeting places in Carmel. Umm...that Cinnamon toast tho! Quaint atmosphere. ;)
Its just a great place to get a breakfast sandwich or lunch and talk with neighbors.
Nice small coffee shop. It is in the middle of a large housing developement. I thought i was driving in the wrong direction to get there at first.
Excellent cafe food. The breakfast menu is where they really shine
Limited menuGood spot for coffee and something lite and quick.
Great coffee, good food, friendly service.
Great atmosphere. Excellent place for an informal meeting.
Great little sandwich shop in the Village of West Clay.
The panini I ordered came with Kraft singles cheese slices, which at the price-point, seemed absurd. The deli meat is basic - the cheapo stuff one purchases from the big-box store which comes in a multi-pound discount square Tupperware.... Very disappointing.
Good atmosphere, very good coffee, and great food.
Solid choice good coffee and food was tasty.
Very good menu, reasonable prices, cozy local cafe
Coffee was good, small place.
Finally a decent place in The Village for sandwiches!
I have tried their food twice and both times I got sick and almost passed out so I’m not a huge fan...
Very nice local cafe.
Such good coffee and sandwiches!
Quick, Good, hot breakfast sandwiches, smoothies and coffee.
Cool little shop.
Good folks and good food
Nice coffee and muffins
Staff are so nice and helpful
Wonderful local cafe
Nice atmosphere
