Very nice environment however the coffee that I got just tasted like chocolate milk.. not very impressed by that. The apple scone I got was good but other chains make better. The service was good and the barista was very nice. Likely will not be back.

First time here and was greeted with kindness and the wonderful smell of cold brew coffee! I was a tad overwhelmed by the options and choices, but the wonderful staff coached me on the feedback I gave on my preferences. The Sumatran cold, was absolutely delicious (darkest roast IIRC), with a pump of your favorite flavor and numerous milk options. You cant go wrong! Looking forward to exploring the menu.Additionally, there are room rentals for 15/hour in case you need to study or work.

Love me some Java House! The cold brew coffee specialists with many different varieties on draft. Staff at the multiple locations I have been to have always been great. I also had the chance to chat with one of the local owners who shared his story and journey which was both authentic and inspiring. There is also a sense of community within each location when you walk in and feel the energy which is by design and rack location also has private rooms available by request or reservation. Cool concept 👏🏼

Really bad service. I get there’s a labor shortage but the three teenagers behind the bar ‘working’ were awful. Dude made my food. Placed it on the top of the oven, then just walked away and started flirting in the hallway with his female coworker. It was a joke. I had to ask him to get it and he wouldn’t even do it. Made the one girl who was working get it. While he continued with his weak flirting. Coffee was ok. Won’t be back.

The coffee drinks were absolutely delicious, best I’ve had in awhile. They don’t have espresso, just FYI. I think it’s a bit overpriced for the size of the drink, but then again I’m sure they charge a bit more due to the location. I really wish they offered larger sizes though, my drink was so yummy and didn’t last long. We also had a chocolate muffin which was subpar. I would definitely get their coffee again, but pass on the pastry. Service wasn’t the friendliest.

I ordered a breakfast bagel with bacon, egg, cheese. Simple, right? Apparently not. They microwaved it - which is bad enough - and for so long the bagel was stiff. It was inedible. Then they served me without a napkin. And why did I tip them? Oh, because the tip has to be left at the time you purchase the food, and I was thinking optimistically. When I got the email with the receipt, I was also asked to provide feedback, which I did (see above), so I can say this about the manager: he very promptly contacted me with apologies and a commitment to do better. Good for him!

Great cold brew. That’s all they serve. So “lattes” are cold brew and milk, etc. Drinks can be hot, cold or nitro. Very good cold brew, specialty drinks have a different flavor due to the lack of espresso too. Adds a smooth, creamy flavor unlike espresso. The menu is simple and easy to understand. As for the venue, it’s spacious and Instagram-worthy on every wall and surface. Just gorgeous.

Visiting from out of town and ran across this place, conveniently located kiddy corner to Dicks Sporting goods. Wonderfull atmosphere and very pleasant staff. It wasnt that busy on a Saturday afternoon and our drinks were prepared in a reasonable time frame. We ordered 1 columbian, hot, black coffee and tea specialty drink (the tedster). Would recommend either and looking forward to a return visit someday while the kids are shopping!

This coffee bar is neatly located next to Cafe Patachou at Clay Terrace. I went on a weekday mid morning and there was no immediate parking near the establishment so I had a little Trek to. The seating is limited from what I was able to see, there were clearly a lot of people there to do a little work on their laptop and that is awesome but they appeared to need a seat for the laptop a seat for their laptop bag a seat for their cell phone which cause there to be very few seats available. I sat at the counter and order just an iced coffee, Ethiopian blend with sugar-free vanilla and a splash of heavy cream. The coffee had a nice smooth taste, very low acidity and just a clean taste overall however it was not as strong as I enjoy my coffee. Before returning I will do some research and find what may better suit my palate. The Establishment could stand to have rules in place with regards to one individual taking up for seats. Thats unacceptable.

After tasting each option of cold brew i have come to some conclusions. despite what people say, anyone here to enjoy coffee should opt for the Hot brew method as the cold brew suppresses the Colombian brews fruity notes as well as nullifying the complexity of the Sumatran brew, leaving you with an ultra smooth coffee with a good taste, rather than the true experience of an Indonesian cup of coffee. otherwise a fantastic environment and kind staff members.

So pumped to find Java House ☕! Cold brew is my first choice and has reached a new level that makes others not even in the same game. It was like the first time drinking a Expresso, so much unexpected, rich flavor it made me slow down and enjoy! Crazy amount of options (for cold brew.. can pick the roast, hot or cold, nitro, tea...oh my). I have something else to try next time. Baristas were helpful and even better were happy to be there. 🧞‍♂️ Wishing for one near me, until then Ill find a way to get back. Big fan. Thanks for the effort to perfecting a fantastic cold brew.

Java House is my favorite coffee place, easily. Starbucks and Dunkin’ donuts have NOTHING on this place and their coffee!! The environment, the baristas, basically EVERYTHING about this place makes it a prime coffee location. I don’t even live in Carmel - I live in Greenwood and I make it a point to come to this location at least once a week for a good coffee :)

Both employees were rude and short while we tried to decipher how we could order their seasonal drinks as some were only iced but others were only in mediums and so on and so forth. Not pleased with this location. The barista taking my order also lowered his mask???? To talk to me???? Not to mention my espresso was barely warm when served to me... I’m not sure who upset these baristas today but whewww, it was unpleasant. If you must, just go to the carmel location.

They greeted me and walked me through all their flavors/milks/sauces as soon as i walked in! The one girl complimented my hair and asked the inspiration for it (love that). I didnt catch her name but from the short chat, she has good taste in music. Got an iced maple latte with oat milk and it was SO SMOOTH. Very similar quality to that of The Well in Fishers for the sake of reference. They have plenty of milk alts, flavors, and they even use paper straws! Very cute place and i cant stress how sweet the one girl was. Will update with her name if i see her again.

Coffee is delicious, got a nitro Ethiopian a few weeks back and noticed they advertise growler fills for $15 on their menu board. This morning I grabbed one of the 20 or so growlers we already own, checked their website for info on glass rules, and when I didnt see anything I headed off for the 35 minute drive to Clay Terrace. When I get there they tell me that they only fill growlers purchased on-site and their glass is a whopping $25 and that doesnt even include the fill. $40 for 64 oz of cold brew? No thanks. Please update your site with that info or start filling non-branded glass (the obvious better option).Edit: Quick response from owner making the situation right below. Rating adjusted appropriately!

My husband brought me to Java today as a surprise because he knows I love coffee as well as unique new coffee shops. Starbucks gets old after awhile so it is always nice to try something new. This coffeehouse had me in awe. The moment I walked in I took in the amazing coffee smells, and the rustic decor. The thing that blew me away the most was the fact they have conference rooms you can rent for $15/hr. My husband wants us to go there when university starts back up in the fall so that we can have some quiet study time away from our 6 year old (we love him dearly we do lol). I highly recommend!!!!!

I decided to stop by Java House to try this new coffee place and see if it could persuade me to abandon my usual coffee spot. The mall was crowded with Black Friday shoppers, so I had a little trouble finding parking. Eventually I arrived, finding the entrance right next to Patachou. The coffee shop only had one guest and was fairly quiet. I was surprised due to the amount of foot traffic outside. This is also a work studio, where rooms can be rented for use while you drink your coffee. Interesting concept and a seemingly nice facility for that type of service. After reviewing the menu, I chose the hot Brewski English toffee coffee. It was quick to order and was ready in just a couple of minutes. The first thing I noticed was that it was almost devoid of any coffee taste at all. Maybe Im just used to terrible coffee and espresso, but I was expecting something a little bolder. The temperature of the coffee was also a little cooler than expected. This is good and bad, as I could drink it immediately but didnt feel like I was drinking coffee. I didnt care for the add-ins that tried to bring about an English toffee flavor. They werent very convincing. Maybe next time Ill get a simple black coffee and go from there. Overall, for $6, I wasnt really impressed nor really disappointed. Id stop by again for the quiet environment and to try a different coffee arrangement.

Walking in I was instantly greeted with smiling faces from the baristas which was fun! I actually went to this coffee shop to work remote and it had really fast wifi, which is much appreciated for us workaholics (funnily enough they had a drink named for workaholics).I ordered two drinks while I was there, the first was called hockey wife, it kind of reminded me of the pink drink at Starbucks but I thought this one was way better. I didnt know what to get next so I had the baristas walk me through a little bit of the menu, seriously they were SO helpful. I ended up going for a nitro cold brew, never had one before. It was so creamy but without the actual cream! So no calories! I mean, wow! If you go there, I would for sure try the nitro. There isnt much food, but a few yogurts, but again I was there for work so I was happy. I even ordered in food for lunch which they were cool with! Definitely going to be a regular here.
