I had a good experience visiting with Dr. Sullivan getting my eye exam for contact lenses. She took the time to explain the health of my eyes and answered any questions I had about the exam. The office staff is also friendly and very helpful. I will be coming back. I highly recommend coming here!

I’ve been “seeing” Dr Kay since I was a child (pun intended), and now I bring my own family to her practice. The clinic is always clean and organized, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Dr Kay is the absolute best & we will continue making the drive to receive her care.

This place is great! Contacts were off a little after the first appointment but they got me right in to update the prescription. Told me to come back as many times as I needed it, no additional charge. Expert fitting with glasses, very professional, this first time customer highly recommends. I’ve be going to CLC since 1979! Loved every doctor than and now, Dr Kay Willis. She the best - she cares, she clear, she’s forthright, and she knows her craft. The support staff are always kind and welcoming. Cindy has been a constant presence since 1979 and makes every trip a home coming. What a gift she is and she knows and can do it all with great competence and warmth!!

The office was very clean and made me feel extremely comfortable with the pandemic going on. Dr. Megan Sullivan is fantastic and was able to answer all my questions. The opticians were both extremely helpful picking out the perfect frames for me. This is definitely the best eye doctor experience I have had.

First, I was disappointed not to see Dr. Willis Wegman, but Dr. Sullivan was great!I have severe dry eye. Dr. Sullivan was able to fit me with new contacts. She also recommended the Lipiflow procedure. It was great, and I have minimal dry eye symptoms now.

I have been a patient of Dr. Wegmans for many years. She has always gone above and beyond to work with me to facilitate my visual needs. Over the past year she has gone way beyond. I had a condition that had to be monitored which was effecting the vision in my right eye. For a period of about 6 months she worked with me to fit, contacts, driving glasses as well as reading glasses until surgery could be scheduled. Due to COVID my surgery was delayed for 5 months. After surgery through the healing process, Dr. Wegman had to provide a new contact prescription, just for the healing period which got me through. Last week, after almost a year I went to her thinking the best my vision would ever be was 20/50. After spending time with me she worked with me on several options and I walked out of her office with 20/25 vision. I am elated. I can actually read street signs for the fist time in over a year. Dr. Wegman is a wonderful doctor who is dedicated to her patients. She was a very encouraging to me through the entire process, checked in me regularly and when it was all said an done she worked until she found a solution that enabled to still wear contacts. Highly recommend Dr. Wegman!!!

Ive been going to another optometrist for approx 15 to 20 yrs. By chance (and a referral), I ended up going to CLC Carrollton. What a wonderful experience! From start to finish, EVERY staff member, including the Dr, was incredibly helpful & friendly. They handle all types of eyewear, including glasses, not just contacts, FYI.I will definitely be going here from now on. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

My husband and I have both been in over the course of the last 15 years to get contacts, weve been away for a few years and tried to come back. Literally, within the first THIRTY SECONDS of our phone call, the receptionist shut us down on insurance saying they did NOT work with either of our two insurance polices - that HAVE vision coverage, and WE WERE EVEN WILLING TO JUST PAY OUT OF POCKET, but because it was such an effort to find a way to say NO to us, we will never be back. Little tip: dont rekindle or start a relationship with a paying client, with NO.

I had been searching for a new contact place for a while as the one we use to go to was further now since we moved. I came across The Contact Lens Center (Carrollton location) online and saw great reviews. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed and I truly did not expect to feel that way. While everyone was mostly courteous, I had wished the staff had told me from the beginning they didn’t take my eye insurance. I even filled out my insurance paperwork online IN ADVANCE (which they could have notified me then) and also had my insurance card and ID in hand at the check in counter (and they could have notified me here too) before I went in for my exam. After all was said and done, I was hit with a $240 bill. Why would I have come here to pay $240 for an eye exam when I could have gone anywhere else that took my insurance for only $25? I did speak to the office manager, either Cindy or Brandy, and she did offer to refund me $40... but that was all that could be done. I feel this is very unethical and deceitful and did not expect this. I will also contact the Better Business Bureau as well as this is still upsetting (this happened February 5 2019). I am definitely willing to remove this review once this is resolved and can get my money back. Thank you.

Very professional staff and doctors! Highly recommend for your yearly eye care, contacts, glasses, etc. The doctors are extremely knowledgeable and have resolved many eye issues that have occurred within my family. The most notable was when Dr. Kay Willis discovered my husbands torn retina. Due to her quick responsiveness to us, her accurate diagnosis, and immediately getting the specialist to meet with us, we had a very pleasant ending. I can happily say my husband has 20/20 in both eyes and I am not sure we would have had the same results without Dr. Willis and her caring staff.

I love the contact lens center. I have been going to Dr. Kay for a long time. She is the only one who could fit me in contacts that work. Her team is awesome as well. I highly recommend them.

Dr Jennifer Schirner is my new go to Optometrist. This entire practice is amazing!!! The front staff is friendly and professional, the nurse that helped me(wish I got her name) was awesome! I am a nurse and have worn glasses all my adult life, but she did a thorough exam that I have never had before and taught me things about the eye that I didnt even know. And Dr Schirner was super awesome amazing!! She was friendly, thorough, knowledgeable, and quick! I highly recommend Contact Lens Center!!!

Wonderful office and exceptional staff. My 13 year son has been coming to Contact Lens Center since he was 6 yrs old. He has always felt comfortable and assurred at each visit. This past visit he had decided he was ready for contacts. Dr. Schirner spent time with him and us discussing the switch to contacts and answering all of our questions. Cindy Cooper sat down with him teaching, practicing, and answering his questions as well as my husbands and mine. She worked with him until he felt ready and at ease with doing this himself. She also spent a good amount of time discussing future options with us. My son left their confident and excited about his new world without glasses for the first time in 7 years. He has gone on to take them out and put them in with ease. Thank you, Contact Lens Center, for making this milestone an amazing experience.

They were so nice and friendly, but I felt like I was being forced to wear glasses that didnt help me until they messed with my eyes so much that I needed them. They were not up front with me about the cost of trying the free contacts. Other friends that wear glasses say theyve never had to wait for weeks for the glasses to work; they put them on and see better, immediately. Theyre very nice and friendly, but they did not help me and cost me money.

Ive been going here since the late 80s or early 90s. My experience has always been positive. We have been through glasses, contacts, lasik and back to readers and computer glasses. Ive seen all of the Doctors there and all are through and professional as well as the staff. Some of which have been there since I can remember. I know im in good hands here. Efficient and thorough, I am a fan!

Dr. Wegman improved my vision with contacts for both reading and distance. She also placed me in contacts that are more comfortable and less expensive than what I had before at another clinic. Whats not to love!

The best! I have dealt with very difficult eyes due to keratoconus and other eye issues. I’ve been to many many doctors over the years and I am very happy with the expertise, service, and thoroughness of care I received. All of my concerns were addressed. Contact lens center has always gone above and beyond to find the perfect fit and comfortability for my eyes. I have bad astigmatism in both eyes and the optometrists at contact lens center always discuss every available option as well as trials on site. I would recommend them to anyone who has ever had an issue with finding contacts that fit them well.

Dr. Willis has been keeping my peepers in good health more than 20 years. I have visited all CLC locations and I can say that all of my experiences have been very thorough. If I ever have a question after my appointment, a simple call to any CLC location, and my questions are answered quickly and concisely. Recently, I visited the Richardson location and both Nena and Alyssa were more than accommodating! They are always a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend visiting any CLC location and scheduling an appointment with any of the optometrists to get your eye exam, contacts, glasses and/or sunglasses!

The staff at Contact Lens Center is so friendly, efficient, and caring. Dr Wegman is an amazing eye dr. She has literally changed my quality of life by carefully prescribing me monovision contacts. I had gone to several eye doctors prior to seeing De Wegman, and they could not get my prescription correct. Love this place and the great staff.

I would give 10 stars if I could! I have had the most amazing experience with this group of doctors and their staff. I have extremely bad distance vision (-7.5), poor reading vision, astigmatism in my left eye, pingueculas in both, and chronic dry eyes. I work 12-16 hours a day on the computer so my eyes take a beating. Ive never been happy with my contacts since the near sighted vision set in with age--until now. I was in daily lenses for years (no one ever suggested anything different) but was always having to wait for the lens to adjust so I could see when I went to multi-focals. It was maddening and time-defeating. Little did I know it was the downside of daily wear contacts. Dr. Schirner suggested I try Duette hybrids - a hard lens, soft lens combo. I had never heard of hybrids but had always heard gas permeable lenses were awful lenses that people who werent lucky enough to wear soft contacts got stuck with.I cannot express what a difference these contacts have made in my life. I see better close up, better far away, my eyes are not as dry and irritated, and I see clearly ALL the time (no waiting for the contact to shift or the eye to find a focal point). The care routine really isnt a big deal. Stick them in a special solution at least six hours every night. Its actually made me better about going to bed on time. I was able to find the solutions in bulk so the added care costs really arent that high and are certainly less than the cost of daily wear.I am incredibly grateful to the Contact Lens Center for working with me to find the right solution for my eyes. They did at least FIFTEEN fittings with me. When they said follow ups are included in the initial consultation, they meant it. The doctors (Ive seen them all) all made time to answer my questions and were truly invested in figuring out what would work for me. The office staff was great at scheduling and communicating and Cindy Cooper is just wonderful. She always made sure the records were straight, ordered the lens changes, followed up with me, answered questions, and never made me feel like I was a bother (though Im sure I was - I mean 15 fittings?! Need I say more?). If you have an easy prescription, see these guys because they rock. If you have an impossible prescription, definitely see these guys because they will find the closest thing to perfect for you that exists. They certainly did with me!

I have been using CLC for almost 30 years. The BEST staff and docotors you will find. I had an eye issue 10 years ago and asked for them to see me. Doctor detected a serious problem, got me into a retina specialist immediately (Within an hour) and they saved my vision. Thank you CLC!!!
