Tried founders favourite and really loved it. May be a bit pricey but its good to try. Good outdoor seating as well to spend time.

Who owns this place?? Its horrible. They usually have only 2 people working with a line out the door. Service is so slow because theyre short staffed & the store is dirty. I know its hard to find help these days then shorten your hours and maybe offer a better hourly rate. I have never seen such a poorly run store. The manger is great though - Im sure its not easy for her. If the owner is reading this you have no idea how to run a successful business. Wake up!!

Bella was a rock star tonight. It was crazy in there tonight and she was running the show ALONE, i think someone else was there, but not sure what they were doing. There was about 12 people in line and she got everyones orders by herself. Didnt make a mistake either as far as I can tell, and Ive had a guy from this store blend a candy wrapper into my shake. Good job Bella!

Great little ice cream shop. Friendly staff and fresh ingredients. Clean store with plenty of seating.Custom cakes and million combinations of ice cream cups and waffle cups.Even with a line generally there is not much of a wait.Parking can be tight during busy hours but that’s as close to a complaint as can be found here.Will be back, highly recommended!!

I went in to this location recently and the line was out of the door! Which is good. Despite the line, things were orderly. Almost naturally, the people on the exterior waited until customers exited and then proceeded to enter. When it was my turn, two people exited, and another person and I both entered. As soon as we stepped in we were told that they were at capacity. I did mention that we only entered because two customers just left, however, I complied with no problem. I proceeded to get my order (which I had to give back because it was wrong) when a large party entered the store. Many of them did not have masks on and the store was way past capacity. The workers acted like they were afraid to 1. Tell the customers that the store was currently at capacity and to wait outside, and 2. That they needed to put on a mask before entering (which was plainly displayed on the door). This was overall very offensive. Not necessarily due to race or prejudice but from a crowd control standpoint. If you are going to enforce certain stipulations, do so CONSISTENTLY. Don’t pick and choose. Doing so will help to guard against accusations of race/prejudice. I won’t be returning to this location for awhile.

As Im a delivery driver. They made a new employee make the order and I received it 15 mins late and it was messed up and no other crew member tried to guide or assisted him. The store in crossroad crew are the worst, they are far from friendly or helpful. Delivery orders are customer orders as well ! It is even worse because the customer at home cant see what they are doing in his order and will not know why it is late.

Crossroads Cold Stone is pretty good place to go! Staff is usually fairly friendly and always fast! I love their daily specials (attached pictures), especially Family Day Saturday. It’s an AMAZING deal. Sometimes, I get it just for myself ...shhh. 🤫 This location has room to sit inside and there are also many seats outside, as well as other restaurants if you want to get lunch or dinner before your ice cream (or after, I won’t judge you). I never really have trouble finding a space near CS and I never have to wait very long.

Ordered twice, and both times f… it up.First, they refused to make my order even though I ordered before closing time. There were still about 15mins to closing time.Second, ordered through DoorDash on the next day, guess what, my item is missing in the bag.Useless

I asked for extra peanut butter, this costs 99 cents extra apparently. I order the same thing all the time this is the first time they up charge. 99c is a little ridiculous considering the price of the jar. It’s not like they dap a fist full more, it’s barely a spoon more.

Great staff and amazing ice cream. Went in yesterday for national ice cream day and there was a long line, which makes sense. It was said to be the hottest day of the year. The staff helped my group and also was considerate. They let us know that the ice cream was a bit soft since it was quite hot. Definitely is a great place to have ice cream.

Cant go wrong with ice cream, especially when you can have it made your way. As long as the staff actually pay attention to you when you want something custom, usually they do, this place is good. The staff are friendly and efficient, which is good when its usually packed.

Fantastic ice cream. Love the mix ins and signature creations, they push me to try something new. I also love the portions! You always get a lot which makes the price worth it. Smoothies and milkshakes are also available and delicious. Coldstone also has deals every night of the week that you can take advantage of.

Great experience at this Cold Stone location. The two young women behind the counter were very friendly and made the most amazing mixture of ice creams. I will absolutely be returning to this location in the future!

Very, very good. Dozens of different flavors, toppings, & mix-ins! A little bit pricey, but the best dipped (scooped; not soft-serve) ice cream chain! Highly recommend.

My first time visiting Cold Stone and itf officially my new favorite place to get ice cream, highly addictive. I have no idea which item I get, but I get two scopes of ice cream, lots of toppings mixed into the ice cream with hot fudge, its amazing! Have mercy, yummy to the tummy!

Very good ice cream place to eat at. The ice cream can get a bit pricey at times but I tell you, it is worth every cent to try it. The flavors are incredible and the ice cream is thick and tastes amazing. They allow you to sample each ice cream which makes it even harder for you to choose, but if there is one I would get its BIRTHDAY CAKE!

Worst experience with the staff. The manager should invest in some behavioural skills training for them especially for ... don’t want to take the names.You expect an ICE CREAM but not a runny liquid in the cone. Repeated request to change it falls on deaf ears.Better avoid this place :(. Would give a negative rating especially because of staff.

The ice cream was excellent however, the tables and floor were gross. Not only that but when the staff member was done serving ice cream, she went straight into the back instead of cleaning. The bathroom smelled disgusting when I used it as well. Definitely either need new staffing or better motivated people, because when you have down time in your work place, Id think you would want to use it for cleaning to make your place more appealing, either that or for training the employees to actually do their job better.

Its really hard to give any ice cream place less than 5 stars :) The bowl I got was delicious. There was only one guy on when I went and he was super friendly. Offered tastings, whipped up my selection really fast. Ill definitely be going back.

My daughter enjoyed this for her birthday instead of the usual birthday cupcake. Her eyes were bigger than her stomach. She didnt finish it but was very happy with it.

Im not one to typically write reviews but I was extremely unsatisfied. I went in and noticed the prices were high. Ok thats fine...but I hope its worth it. A small milkshake was over $5. I ordered a small vanilla and I noticed as she scooped it that it was effortless like it was really soft. Got to the end to pay and the debit card machine asked if I wanted to leave a tip. So not to look like an *** I put a $1 tip. She took it out of the register and put it in their clear pickle jar full of cash. I walked straight to my vehicle and drank it like straight milk out of a carton. Over $6 for a 12 oz cup of milk??? I wont be back.

The visit was nice I would have given higher except the worker made our cream after handling credit card. They should either wear gloves or wash hands if they are going to multitask.

This place closes before their posted closing time. Drove to this location from Raleigh and got there at 9:50pm and the lights were off and the workers were cleaning up. The time posted for the day was 10pm.

The ice cream is good, but this location is not at all allergy friendly. They left ingredients on the cold stone when mixing my order then I noticed them cross-contaminate the next persons order. If someone orders something that has possible allergens (caffeine, berries, chocolate etc) and dont pay attention they could end up in serious trouble.

There was a line when I entered, must be a popular spot for families. Ordered a smoothie and they were out the flavor requested but they were accommodating and was able to offer an alternative flavor. I liked the new combination, nice helpful staff :)

Customer service was great and the flavors were fantastic. You also get to taste test the flavors before you buy.

Ice cream is decent. However the service is awful. I got skipped in the line several times when I clearly was in front. This was all because the child working there assumed I was with the person in front of me instead of asking. I ended up just leaving.

Incredibly lousy service. The young lady was unfriendly, unpleasant and bordering on rude.

This is a tiny tiny tiny Cold Stone. It can get crowded in the summer months. Ice cream flavors are rotated and ask for the ice cream of the day. Service is great and you get a front row view to how they mash up the ice cream. Parking lot gets filled quickly outside however theres alot of parking space behind.

I ordered a custom cake for my husbands birthday. Its his absolute favorite cake and a big highlight of his birthday every year. The order was placed over the phone several days in advance. I reviewed the specifics several times when placing the order, had them read back to me, and then had the entire order reviewed at the end of the call. The order form I reviewed when I picked up the cake was correct, and the exterior of the cake looked correct. However, when I sliced it later that evening I immediately noticed the ice cream was completely wrong (vanilla, and I ordered chocolate with peanut butter mixed in). My husband was super bummed. :( I immediately called the store, and the best they could offer me was to return that cake and get a different ready-made one from the cooler. Obviously that was a nonsensical option, since that cake would be just as wrong as the one I already had. They couldnt remake the correct cake, because it would take 24 hours, and they couldnt refund my money, since apparently there was no one in any position of authority staffing the store. There was also no apology for the error. I called the store the next day after being told there would be a manager on duty to address the issue and a shift leader took my call. I explained again what had happened and once again, no apology. She said they could remake the cake or refund me. Since his birthday was now over, I stated the refund would be the better option, but given the impact of the error, I thought it would be a nice gesture if they would also remake the cake. She stated that she could not do both. I advised her that if that was the level of customer service I could expect, I wouldnt be returning in the future. Her response was OK. I went back to the store, explained again the situation to someone behind the counter, provided the correct order form and showed pictures of the incorrect cake, and received my refund. Again, no apology or even so much as an acknowledgement of an error/acceptance of responsibility. Order custom items at your own risk, and do not expect any measure of customer service at this location. Poorly staffed and poorly managed, they do not care about your business.

My experience at this place is generally pretty good, but I guess it depends on the employees at the time. In one specific instance, we came 5 minutes left to store closing and they still served us ice cream even though they were about to leave. And I suggest strawberry blonde.

Great ice cream and there are usually coupons if you know where to look. Me and my wife go every few months. The Founders Favorite is our favorite thing on the menu. The ice cream is expensive, but much better quality than the stuff youll get at the grocery store.

It had been a long time since I been to a ice cream shop, on a Sunday, it was only a mother and child there, the staff was just as friendly and let me sample without making me feel greedy lol it was a nice exchange and the watermelon sherbet was amazing with the vanilla cream. Ill give it 5 stars.

It takes a lot for me to write a review, but this store deserves a poor one. The ice cream is great but the service is not. One multiple occasions we have seen the staff be extremely unprofessional. Once someone came in from the street and said Im going to grab some ice cream, goes behind the counter and scoops his own without washing (I think he worked there but was off the clock). Another time one of the servers wiped his nose with his hand and then scooped the ice cream. You could see the snot on the back of his hand. Once again, the ice cream is great but the staff could use some help. I will update this review if improvements are made.

Brianna was very nice and extremely helpful! I’m very indecisive and think ppl get annoyed by it lol. Instead of giving attitude, she asked if i wanted samples of numerous flavors. Could not be more happy with her kindness and great conversation!

I’ve been a fan of Coldstone for years. Always great service and of course great ice cream.Today the location in Crossroads was absolutely crazy but that’s expected this time of year.Well.... what wasn’t expected was completely rude employees. They had the most look of disgust on their face every time the door opened and new customers came in. They was a young girl in the back who wasn’t taking customersBut the young man and woman taking customers were awful. The young girl even said “If it’s gonna continue to be this way, I won’t be working here this summer. The guy making my ice cream seemed easily influenced by the girl because he only seemed annoyed when she expressed it. When giving me my ice cream he just dropped it on the glass countertop.Other customers in line noticed it.I’ve never been in a Coldstone and received that type of service and I definitely will never go to that one.

Walked in, was promptly greeted by two employees. Their job finished, they then resumed theur conversation and did not pay any attention to us until about five minutes later, when we walked out frustrated. I suppose if we had, you know, walked in to buy something, we would have rudely interrupted them and inconvenienced them with our questions. But thankfully, we were not so rude, and just left so they could finish talking.

Absolutely TERRIBLE service. The line was very long, they skipped over me and took someone’s order behind me for no reason. Then, they finally take my order, and fail to ask me if I want any toppings. To top of this trash experience, they don’t even take their own cold stone gift cards. Most likely will never return here.

Worst experience Ive ever had at a Cold Stone. Line was ridiculously long with three teenaged workers who were not competent enough to be there on their own. The wait would be tolerable had the service been nice and the ice cream good. The young lady, Jordan, skipped right over my son, husband, and I. Politely I said, excuse me, to let her know she skipped us. She immediately caught an attitude and slammed everything as she made what was supposed to be a Hot for Cookie. The cookie wasnt even warm and half of the cup was the whipped topping. While checking out they were talking about another costumer who had just left upset and asking for the name of one of the male employees. Very unprofessional. It was also the dirtiest Cold Stone Ive ever been in. Someone needs to manage this place!

There are usually 3 or 4 high school aged kids on staff and they are friendly and helpful. The ice cream is always delicious and while a bit pricey, they are usually not stingy with the servings.
