A family business that gives you the prices up front. They did everything how and when they said they would. They gave me a ride when I needed one. The mechanic explained the repair to me when I had a question. They took things off the bills without me saying anything because it was honest to do so. Ive gotten 3 major repairs on my f150 here -- if these folks arent honest, noone is.

Staff were friendly, professional, and put a lot of effort into getting my needs met with discounts to help lower the costs. They provide very detailed analysis information about their inspection and repair/maintenance work on the vehicle. Very satisfied.

So my battery died, I called AAA, they came out and tested the battery, found it to be at the end of its life and they do not install AGM batteries so they recommended Davies Auto Care. I called and dropped my car off. My battery takes an AGM type (expensive). Sam looked for a less expensive option, called the Owner over and he confirmed that my car only specd out the AGM battery. I knew this before they researched, but they were trying to make the replacement less expensive. Kudos for trying! Next day they replaced my battery and even WASHED my car!!!! Very friendly staff and efficient. Did an exam of my car, no charge, took pictures of areas they felt needed future attention. I depend on my car and at Davies they examined my car as though it was valuable to them too. When I am in need of a repair, I will not hesitate to make them my 1st call! I hate dealing with car maintenance but Davies Auto Care made everything SO easy for me. They gave me a quote before starting the service so there were no surprises. In addition - they have a free shuttle service which was AMAZING. They brought me home and then picked me up again once my car was ready. I live alone and so appreciated having this service. My 2007 Lincoln Towncar overheated on a recent trip in Pasadena, CA. I was able to get into one of the parking structures in Old Town Pasadena, and then called AAA. I had the extended tow milage package and was towed from Pasadena to Davies Auto in Cathedral City, CA. I was able to get to his service repair shop Friday evening just prior to his closing. My car was safe in his facility over the weekend and I was kept in contact as to what and when the repairs would be completed.

They do everything to take care of my 22 year old car and I trust them completely. A wonderful company.

Wow, great service. I walked out to my driveway and saw oil dripping from the undercarriage. Knew not to go to an oil change shop, they would rip me off. Vaguely recalled having gone to Davies once years ago, couldnt even recall name, but knew where it was. I walked in, they took instant care of me, called me into garage to show the problem, and fixed it at an amazingly reasonable price in a flash. They have me hooked!

A Major Ripoff and a Bunch of Liars is what Davies Auto Care really is and I will NEVER use there service ever again!They said I needed a new battery... found out I didn’t! It was a starter issue. They said I needed new brake pads/drums... LIARS! I only needed fluid! They said they couldn’t fix my windshield wiper motor and they even had the nerve to tell me to go to the junk yard myself to find the parts I needed. Really? Then why was I able to take my van to Performance Plus Automotive down the street to perform real life needed repairs and not create fabricated and unnecessary issues, especially something simple as repairing the wiper motor with ease?!I was so angry how I almost got ripped off by Davies Auto Care (AGAIN) with their lies and deceit!Performance Plus Automotive fix ALL the actual leaks as well as other issues and they laughed when I showed them the bill! And what was nice about “PPA” is that they always show me what actually needs repairing!I can’t say enough how appalling and unacceptable Davies Auto (Don’t) Care about how they treat their customers!!!

Finally, Ive found a auto repair business that is comprehensive and affordable. I feel like my car has new life and is safe to drive long distances. I was so happy I dropped my other car off for service when I picked this one up.

This place is a straight rip off! They charged me $600 to change my spark plugs! DO NOT GO HERE THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE WHO THEY THINK DONT KNOW ABOUT CARS! I deeply regret taking my vehicle here. Less then $100 in parts and they charged me $600! Insane...

I had taken my van to several other shops and this was the only one to actually SHOW me what was wrong. They threw my vehicle on the lift and pointed out the issues. The prices were fair and all work was done in a timely manor. I felt the staff were very easy to work with.

It is always good to know a good mechanic wherever you are, and Davies is it for me here in the desert. When I was only here half the year, they prepped my car for the trips to and fromthe Midwest. Always reasonable, and there in a pinch, too. Nice people. Auto Club recommended, as well.

For the past 13 years since relocating to the desert I have been taking my cars to Davies Auto Care for repairs, regular service needs, and purchasing tires as well. I like making an appointment rather than taking my chances elsewhere. I have always been treated with courtesy and respect by Dave, Elaine and all of the employees with whom I have had contact. They stand behind their work and I have never had to go back a second time because there has never been any problem with their work.I am 79 years old and could easily be misled by a mechanic, but I trust Dave and that trust has never been broken. We were referred by AAA to have a flat tire fixed. The tire had to betaken to Davies as there was no jack & the tire wouldnt hold thecannister compound. The tire couldnt be repaired & staff found areplacement at very near the cost @ Costco. It was delivered & mountedby the next day, and included a wash & multipoint inspection at noadditional cost. All that & friendly, knowledgeable staff made us areturn customer for sure!

They attempted to up-sell me to the figure of $1800.00 on an axle repair that cost me $280.00 through Valley Auto Smog and Repair. Even after explaining that I merely needed my vehicle to make it back home (I was visiting from out of state) and only wanted to do the axle they tried to quote me at $595.00. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WISH TO BE UP-SOLD AND LIED TO ABOUT THE EXTENT OF DAMAGE DONE TO THE VEHICLE. THEY PREY UPON THOSE WHO IN UNFORTUNATE POSITIONS. Do yourself a favor and call around before deciding to take your vehicle to these snakes.

I went to Davies with my new second hand car, purchased in Palm Springs from a dealership. After a few weeks the wheels started making a noise that got worse. The dealership didnt identify the problem, and told me it would go away if I got new tires. A couple of weeks later, it was a lot worse. My local neighborhood social media pages gave several recommendations for Davies, and theyre not far from me. They identified the problem within 5 minutes of driving the car, fixed it the same day - and now it sounds like it did the day I bought it (thank heavens!). It wasnt a cheap fix, but it was something quite important that hopefully wont go wrong again for another 50,000 miles. I liked the quality of the service, the clear quotes, the phone calls, the reception area, the free shuttle service, and the speed of repair. Id go back for anything else on the car that comes up.
