Absolutely no customer care. I got a flat tire on a Sunday, during a road trip. I called this Pep Boys as it was one of the only open tire centers around. I informed them of my situation and they quoted me $25 to repair the flat. Only once I arrived 20 minutes later on low PSI, after inflating my tire on the side of the road, did they inform me that they could only repair the tire with an appointment. To top it off, the earliest appointment was the following Thursday! I should have been informed of this on the phone, especially since I had explained that it was time sensitive.I was able to re-inflate the tire and make it to Firestone down the road, they had stellar customer care, and did it for cheaper!

Jesus was so caring and patient with all my questions. He answered them all with clear explanations. Bravo!

Timely executed, Within an hour or two all was said and done ......The front of the house as well as the back of the house awesome. I buy my tires at tire rack have them delivered to pep boys they put them on the vehicle for $83

Dropped off my car to get both rear brakes and tire replaced at 11am. they said it would be done by 2pm that day. I go back there at 145 and they hadnt even started on my car yet. Had to take my car and go. complete waste of time do not go here.

These guys were super helpful and friendly. Got my truck in quickly and they did a great job at a good price. I recommend this location.

I needed help with low tire pressure. The gentleman at the service counter had me pull right up to a bay. Another gentleman checked and adjusted each tire right away, and also informed me about the best place to read the psi required for my tires. All in all, quick, professional and courteous!

I bought a set of tires at Pep Boys and had a slow leak in one of them. I took it back three different times and each time they told me it would be over two hours before they could look at it. That is not the kind of service I expect. Les Schwab is a much better company for tires.

This clearly aint the same kind of PepBoys they had in 1990. PepBoys used to be like AutoZone. Except better they used to do big repairs and install radios it has down graded. Sorry my bad.

My husbands vehicle needed new tires along with an alignment. I shopped around town for tire replacement and alignment. Many places were charging double. I called Tire 4 Less and they had the best price in town. Upon arrival they immediately starting working on the vehicle. At the cash register the charged me exactly what they quoted, no extra hidden charges or recycling fees that others charge. Highly recommended.

We got a flat tire on our way to Tucson on Sunday 07/12/2020 with 118 temperatures, we found Pep Boys still open and Scott F and his technician went out of their way to helped us replace tire so we can get on the road right away!! Went in to get a oil changeand shop around while I wait. Would have been at least an hour till they got to my truck, and the store is closed! I just left. Went to auto zone hit all my stuff and did my own oil change.

Unfortunately, I have to rescind my five star rating. When I returned home, I discovered a pool of oil under my car. You can see the steady drip from the drain plug in the photo. What happened to the washer that is supposed to be there? Did the service tech loose it?Is your standard of service to replace essential parts with gasket sealant? Serious issues with quality control here. Fortunately, we caught this in time before the engine ran out of oil. We also found thread shaving and a stripped bolt.

I took my Mercedes Benz to get a new set of tires and they opened the hood and messed up my upper radiator by putting it on top of the fan and then they broke my hub cap and did nothing about it and left my right tire with an awful noise. I do not recommend this place for any type of services.

I had a flat tire on the I-10. Pep Boys Auto in Cat City treated me like royalty, hooking me up with a great deal/tire. I’ve been to Goodyear & Big O Tires in the past but the quality of service that Pep Boys offered was incomparable. I know where I’m going to the next time my car needs to be serviced. Oh & you should give Raul S. a raise, because his customer service skills was great! 🙂

Update: our tire was flat from a nail. We arrived at 8:15a and the tire was fixed and mounted in 30 minutes.. best of all: at no charge.Last month visit due to the transmission stalling when stopping on an intersection. Brought it to this location. They ran diagnostics and it came back that the issue cannot be reproduced. Somehow the electrical system was rebooted and the issue indeed did not occur since then.They are the best and most honest people we have seen.Had oil change and requested to check lights, fluids and wiring. We were pleasantly surprised that all was good, they even rotated the tires. Hard to find a place these days that doesn’t tell you all the things wrong with the car, although they are not. This was an honest place, besides being in and out in 45 minutes.

Place is always great. I had a wheel bearing go out (emergency repair) had bought one previously, but it was hard to determine the correct one. They looked up my previous purchase and got me the correct replacement. AND THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THEY HAVE TAKEN CARE OF SOMETHING LIKE THIS FOR ME! THESE GUYS ARE GREAT, I will always come here for parts and stuff.

The best quality care auto department Ive ever came across, and Im 57 years old. Michael was his name who attended the me. Treated me like gold. Didnt force any extra services on me, he did let me know in advance what was coming in the near future and the start preparing for those maintenance fees. But with that, gave me the best prices in town with coupons and specials to save me 💰. I love that!! I ordered and paid for 2 rear tires for my car at the cathedral City store on 7/6/2019. The salesman said they would call me when the tires arrived. I called the store on 7/18/19 to find about my order and nobody knew anything and told me to speak with the store manager Adrian the next day. I go in the store 7/19/2019 and am greeted by one person who was busy with a customer. Adrian walks past me, doesn’t even say hi, good morning how can I help you. Nothing. Finally Raul comes along, mumbles something then walks away with another guy. Raul returns and asks is he can help. I say I need my tires. He looks them up on the computer and can’t find them. Finally he goes to the back and finds them and tells me it’ll be about an hour and a half for the install. I return 2 hrs later and find my car parked out back so I figured it was done. No. Wasn’t even touched. From 10:30 to 1:30 I was at the shop while others came and went. What a level of incompetence. Poor people skills, nobody knows what they’re doing, it takes forever to get through on the phone and 0 accountability. I could’ve done the work myself and been out of there faster. I will not be doing business there again.

My visit here was very short. I went a few minutes before closing but the bay area had the door still open. As soon as I drove up and asked for help the guy went and closed the rolled up the doors. After he did that he asked what did I need because they were closed. Well i told him that I just wanted my oil checked. Looks like that was my first and last visit to this location.

Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable of the questions I asked. They were all respectful courteous and kind. It was unfortunate they didnt have the specific items I was looking for but I didnt leave empty-handed, I was able to make some purchases for another job anyhow and I left satisfied, I will return

This place is awesome, not only do they have some great people who have knowledge of everything from tires ( I bought 4 and wheels for both of my cars) the store has everything you can think of for you automobile! They are awesome at this location. Explain what needs to be explained and do not waste time on trying to up sell or any of that nonsense. Pep Boys stands behind their warranty on everything they do. I moved from the east coast and have nothing bad to say about my experiences over the last 25 years and several vehicles with Pep Boys on both coasts.Looking through some pretty negative reviews, I have to remind the potential reviewer to consider that they are doing something they do not want to do (getting an auto repaired) and spending money they dont want to spend - none of us do. Get a quote first if you are going to complain about the price. Shop it around. It doesnt matter who your mechanic is in my experience, sometimes, they just dont get it right the first time. It is inconvenient, frustrating, and for many of us, confusing. If you want the kind of service that offers loaner vehicles, head to the dealer and pay more. Otherwise, suck it up, reorganize your day, cash in some of those favors that friends owe you and grab a ride/chauffeur for the day.The fact that Pep Boys stands behind the work that they perform is what keeps me coming back to Pep Boys. They dont play stupid, they own it, they fix it and they dont charge customers for what is under warranty and they dont claim its something else. Their online tracking makes it easy to review what work has been done and nothing has ever been missing from that system.At this particular location, I have yet to meet an employee who hasnt gone out of their way for me. Very good customer service. Didnt get the guys name, but he helped me sign up with Lyft and was patient. It gets busy at this location, but they provide good service even under pressure.

Dave at the customer service counter was very helpful when my window motor went out in 110 degree heat and high humidity.Knowledge staff of gear heads made my trip to Pep Boys an even better experience then going to my regular mechanic. They promised to have my car ready in 2 hours and It took them 5:40 hours for tires and alignment. The manager told me that it was 100%. One week later l took my car for oil change at Toyota and they tell me that the car needs alignment! Bummer they lied to me. Be careful and make sure that they will do the job well. Good luck if youre waiting while they work on your car. Although the store manager was very gentle when l went to ask for my money back, but never heard an apology from the manager of that department.

The team there is great! I was quickly greeted at the door and they walked me to the products I was looking for, with fun conversation in between. Some parts stores are so cold feeling when you walk in, almost as if they dont want you there. Not PepBoys though. They were very warm and inviting.

I recently bought a 2nd vehicle. Just and oldie but goody that I am trying to revive. I have been to Pep Boys in Cat City several times in the past few months. Started off with Raul, who is kind and calm and professional and most of all knowledgeable and helpful. Then one day, after being told by the dealership that the part I was looking for was aftermarket and therefore not something they could help me with, I called Pep Boys and spoke to service manager Adrian. He very expertly walked me thru exactly what the issues were and assured me that he was ordering the parts (which were not aftermarket at all). Got the car back today, got a great price and once again treated awesome. I seriously will not take this car anywhere else for repairs now. I used to think Pep Boys was good for oil changes and tires and but not so much for bigger mechanical repairs. THIS IS NOT TRUE. They have earned my loyalty, trust and future business.

Well stocked store with very helpful employees that go out of their way to help you find whatever you are looking for. They are also very knowledgeable in what would be the best product to use. I have never had to wait or look for someone to checkout my selections to purchase.

I like their straight forward pricing, I called American Tire and Discount Tire Centers they changing their prices one person says one thing another person says another then they add in other on the price so the by the time you walk out you spent a hundred more than what you expected from what you were told. I called Pep Boys they didnt give me any run around, they told me the price before taxes I walked out of there spending only the amount that they told me plus the tax the way things are supposed to be! Was given a part that apparently had been bought before and was returned by someone else, apparently for the reason of stripping it for what they needed because the part I got was broken and missing a handful of its pieces. Pep boys is Pep boys! If you dont know much about cars yourself dont have your vehicle worked on here. This store is only good for parts,oil,etc. Ultra disinterested employees with very little experience.

I bought a battery jump starter their brand and their was chocolate on the instruction book and it didnt work. Obviously it was used and returned. I cant believe they would put it back on the shelf and that their brand was so cheaply made!

After making a brake inspeccion the front brakes start making noise when i return back after paying for the rear brakes now they told me i need to do front even those where done 6 months ago. Not happy with resolution

Just called in to ask a simple question to the service department to see if they could repair/replace my suspension on my Navigator. Once I asked the question the guy said no, then I tried confirming( so I dont have to call another pep boys store) by asking So pep boys doesnt do suspension work and he then starts laughing and says yes, nvm how can I help you . Mind you this so after he already responded with no. I felt that this was very rude and unprofessional I wont even be calling back or recommending this location to anyone.

I will never purchase anything at pepboys ever again. I got a tire here and didnt have it installed, just carried it out and came back the next day and wanted to return it and was informed they dont return tires. I can understand if it was installed how they wouldnt take it back obviously but this one never saw any road at all. I never even removed it from my trunk. I dont understand why they even give you a receipt when it does no good anyway. I cant say enough bad about this place. Horrible way to do business.

Last Saturday I bought 4 tires and paid for the alignment, they told me my car will be ready in 2 hours but not was true my car was there for more the 5 hours the technician was struggling doing the alignment. Today I came to the toyota for oil change and then check the alignment and my car need the alignment again because at pep boys they did a really bad work, obviously I dont trust and I dont want to spend all day in that pep boys again, my question is: Its possible get my money back in the alignment?

I bought a 48 month warrantied battery and after 46 months the battery died. They gave me a brand new identical battery with no questions asked. Great service!

Ive never had repairs done at pep boys, but Ive always preferred to get tires there. Their part selection, especially aftermarket muscle car parts, cant be beat in any local store. The staff here is knowledgeable and friendly. If you need to go to a parts store, make it Pep Boys.

Pretty bad experience. My car has had problems with the tires, oil and battery. All which has been purchased there. Bought my wheels and tires there and took them more than 2 years to acknoledge that those wheels that they installed where no good for the tires. Terrible service. Its better to pay a neighbor that knows about cars. Q

Went there the other night. Looked for a product and couldnt find it. Asked for help and was told to look for it in the aisle where i had already been looking. Went anyways to double check to make sure I hadnt missed it. This time I found where it should be, but it seemed to be sold out. So I went back to ask about the item and was simply told, if its not there, we dont have it... basically, i was there for about 15 minutes and no one was any real help. =[

I have used Pep Boys for years in Oregon. I was excited they were five minutes away and quickly went there three different times. I am disappointed with their staff and lack of interest in the customer as well as their lack of knowledge of their products. I was sold a part that failed and instead of wanting to accept the failed part they wanted me to drive 25 minutes away. #FailedService

The young guys in the parts Dept acted like they wanted their paychecks for standing around and were not helpful, AT ALL. the older silver haired gentleman who was cashiering deserves his paycheck and the flubbs in the parts Dept. Paycheck as well .....he was very helpful and professional.

Gentlemen answering call hung up on me the guy was rude nothing to do with Lyft! I was trying to get Vehicle Inpection confirmation confirmed because Lyft has received it!

Will never return.Promised over the phone they could do the repair on my trailer. Upon arrival I was laughed at and told none of their locations could do the work. Was referred by another repair shop, who called them after I had been there and they told that shop they could do the job. Get trained and get your story straight.

Staff is not truly interested in helping you. Ad with Walmart and OReillys they also will take your battery and test charge it for you only to tell you it wont take a charge and you need to buy an 80$ battery. When in fact you just purchased that battery, and it didnt need charged it was fine. Every store so far has flunked my test .

They stand by there products and work. Update the manufacturer Cooper tires does not. Cant recommend Pep Boys because of that. Sorry Pep Boys.

Great auto parts store well stocked. Some prices good some very high. Tires and oil change is all the service department is decent at. Upgraded oil changes can get expensive. Although they claim to do almost any automotive repairs oil changes or tire service is all I recommend. I wouldnt let them touch anything else. Mechanics are not experienced.I recently acquired a mint condition Lincoln Town car. The check engine light came on so I went to Pep Boys. They informed me that the car required an ob1 reader and they had one. So once again I let one their mechanics have at it. After looking under dash scrambling through all wires they told me they could not find plug for reader. I left went home did an extremely simple you tube search only to find out plug is under hood on drivers side. I took car back few days later with what I thought was good news. I was told they no longer had ob1 reader. Are you kidding me. Now my gas gauge doesnt work . I didnt like the way they aggressively digging through underdash wiring in the first place. So once again totally screwed by Pep Boys inexperienced mechanics working on my incredibly mint condition vehicle. All I gained is gas gauge that doesnt work and a check engine light still on.

Horrible. I called to get a price of an allignment. And he tells me hes stop busy at the shop. All I wanted was a price I didnt need u to tell me how ur freaking day was going. Never shopping here!
