Scammers!Mechanic said all our vehicle needed was a new fan belt and they could take care of is easy. Long story short, after picking up the vehicle from them, my husband didn’t even get one minute down the street before realizing the air conditioner no longer worked (100 degree+ weather). He went back to them immediately. All of a sudden they said we needed a new fan assembly and that the very best deal he could sell us the part for would be $1500. Mind you, a brand new one from the dealer only costs $500. When my husband told them, an employee named Issac tried to tell us he had a cousin who specializes in luxury cars nearby who could do it better and cheaper than Big o Tires lol. My husband caught onto their scam easily and had our vehicle from them and repaired for a simple $300. I regret even repairing the belt with them because they are dishonest and kept our car for too many days promising it would be ready in one. I’ve included some pics of our car leaving their repair shop on a tow, as well as our receipt and pics of some of the scammers. YOU’VE been warned!!!!

My experience at this Big o tires has been very nice the two times Ive been there. The first time was when I went to buy all four of my tires; Isaac was friendly and professional, and patient to answer all of my questions. I had been researching and calling around many places comparing tire quality and pricing. Isaac was not only able to answer all the questions he was willing to stay on the phone and answer all the questions I had. You can tell there was a smile on his face. I got four excellent tires for a fantastic price with their buy 3 get 1 free deal. I spent a good amount of hours researching and calling different places comparing and not only did Big O Tires have a better quality tire for less, their customer service was out of the park.When I went back the second time for a tire rotation they were nice and professional that time as well. I think Im going to increase my visits by getting my oil changed there too. We need more places with good customer service.

Whats thats sound? We all hear something in the car, and you assume the worst. Then when you finally get around to it. The price is what we will dread.Now we all need a car and trustworthy service advisor and mechanics! I had my motor mounts replaced and 100k mile service.The team here is excellent. They are a younger crew, and they take just a bit longer. So definitely recommend dropping it off and letting the repairs happen! I will return for future service!

PAID $371 FOR A TIRE ROTATION AND TUNE UP, AND DIDNT GET EITHER OF THEM!I bring my chevy equinox in for a scheduled tire rotation and to get a check engine light diagnostic. I am initially impressed by their not trying to immediately sell me a new catalytic converter like most other mechanics. Instead they recommend a tune up and fuel injection system servicing that would most likely solve the engine light problem.Sadly, now in a trusting mood, I let my guard down when they try to sell me brand new tires for 600 bucks (duh, they are a tire shop). I balked at the price but they convinced me it was a good deal and I could get it financed with no credit check. My tires had plenty of tread and although there is an official recommendation to replace tires every 6 years, its hardly a major safety issue, not on the manufacturers maintenance schedule.Well, they write up an invoice that says I refused their recommendation to replace the spark plugs (not true) and of course they put the tires on before they did anything else. So, when I call back 15 mins later to tell them to hold off on the tires until we see if the fuel system service fixed the check engine light, they say it is too late, the tires are already on the car.,Well, I did NOT get the financing, they charged me 160 bucks to put my OLD tires back on my car (no rotation, I have no idea which tires ended up on which wheels, so now my service record is all screwed up), and the check engine light is BACK ON!So, the net effect of this service is that I now have a vehicle whose tires cannot be rotated because they were shuffled when they put new ones on. And, the grand total for this: $371. Now, Im gonna have to put an oxygen sensor in myself and hope that it fixes the problem.Oh, and I dont think they even do catalytic convertor replacements, thats the only reason they didnt try to sell me one of those too.

Need my oil changed and new brakes all around. I would typically co to my mechanic but the drive was too far. I wound up making an appointment at Big O Tires and went in that same day. The place was nice and the staff was friendly and I received excellent service. It took a bit longer than expected and the cost wasnt that bad. I would consider going back in the future if needed. All and all it was a satisfactory experience.

A friend recommended I go to Big O Tires in Cathedral City.From ordering tires to making an appointment and the care that Nathan took with my1968 Volkswagen Bug, I couldnt be happier.Good customer service is not the norm these days but all the guys were top notch.I would also like to add that these guys were happy, lots of laughing and joking and their happiness was contagious.I hope the people that are in charge of raises and bonuses read these reviews!Thanks again.

I have been going to Big O Tires exclusively for years for all three of my cars... I use the location by my house in Newport Beach and needless to say, I am extremely satisfied with their service and pricing and convenience..... I am writing this review because I visited the Big O tire store off Ramon in the desert and was lucky enough to be helped by Vince!! WOW!!! He was so patient and so knowledgeable and so courteous and so friendly and so efficient and so knowledgeable it blew my mind... I need it very specific help with performance tires for my Audi a 6 and boy did he deliver. I am used to the big O tire customer service level but this kid is head and shoulders above the average thank you so much Vince!!!

Well. . . I had an unfortunate experience when getting my tires, although I paid more than $1000. When one of my tires got punctured I told them that the tire did not have a remedy for a patch. So, they got into the system, and told me it had warranty, then they gave me an appointment, I get to the appropiontment, but they did not attend me because they were busy after all that wasted time I went back home. Then, they gave me anotherappointment and when I get to my appointment they tell me that the tire has no warranty and they put a patch on the tire, but the tire does not function at all it needed to be replaced and they did not do that. As a company they do not stay true to their word.

They always take care of me. Reasonable prices and great service.

I bought a set of tires for my SUV in October, as a first-time customer. Scheduling and service met my expectations. Fast forward to today, one of my tires picked up a large screw. I called at 2:00 PM and Isaac asked if I could bring it by at 3:00 PM—same day! They took the car in right away when I arrived and the crew had it patched and I was back on the road within 35 minutes. Top notch, friendly professional service, and today’s visit solidifies me as a return customer. Thank you, Isaac and team!

No not happy with service, nooo not happy at all.

Total scammers. We took our truck into get the front end repaired not knowing what was wrong with it. They told us that the front axles needed to replaced so that is what we had done. Then three weeks later the front end issues came back even worse. $1600 dollars later we returned to big o tires. Now they say that the brakes calibers and rotors are bad as well as the two struts on the front end. They want another $2700. After looking online and calling a few part stores we see that they are charging 3x the amount for parts. These guys are total scammersI have worked for numerous auto shops and I can promise you that these guys are RIP off artists

Didnt want to patch a tire because of a temp plug that was in it. Thats why I needed it patched in the first place. Really only wanted to sell me a new tire. Drove to the tire shop 2 doors down. They patched tire and now Im back on the road again. Thanks for nothing Big O

After purchasing tires for my old car at the local Big O, I bought another vehicle at the mid part of last year. Back in October my tire light came on. I brought it in and explained they serviced my previous vehicle, but not this one. They took me right away, checked the pressure on all of my tires, added air as needed and got me in and out quickly. Well, the same thing happened again last week where the tire light indicator came on. Again, they said no problem, but came to find that I had not one, but two nails in one of my tires. They took great care of me and fixed it right up. Im having a vintage car shipped to me this week that will need tires soon. The sense of loyalty that I have for them for treating me so well makes it easy for me to determine where Ill be going. This staff is so well trained and just plain great.

Out of town visitor attending conference. I hit a large pothole on Interstate 10 while traveling from Phoenix. Damaged front tire on my pickup. The staff were friendly efficient and informative. They quickly diagnosed the problem and replaced the problem tire with my spare at my request. After 45 minutes of time, the manager stated no charge and “have a nice day”. Great attitude and service.

Pretty decent place. Outstanding customer service from Albert but only thing that was a bother was the tires took a while to get there (ordered.) I think it took a little over a week for them to get there when they were only suppose to take a day or two. They then explained that it wasnt Big O Tires fault but the shipping persons fault.

Staff is friendly and provide great service. I had called prior to coming and was told it would be an hour and a half wait. I went ahead and came because I have been a customer for almost 10 years. I arrive and they take me right in less than 2 minutes after calling and told for the long wait. Apparently they wanted to go home early. So then I get the bill and almost $40 later. To repair a tire, a little disappointing.

..what can I say that folks dont already know about Big Os Tire!?... well?..i am loyal to these people for a reason!(CUSTOMER SERVICE) ease of transaction at any store across the country! But if you havent herd, they offer an Alignment for 80 bucks, and guarantee it for 6 months, as always, no questions asked. Ive even never had to show a receipt, these guys are great!

FRAUD ALERT!!!! Took my truck in for an alignment service and camber kit installation. I got a call an hour later telling me my rack and pinion was bad and that I needed a new one installed for $1200. What the sales rep Albert didnt realize was I was under my truck the day before and that the rack and pinion was perfectly fine. It just needed the bushings replaced which only cost $40 for parts. When I called him on his b.s. he tried to justify himself by saying well its recommended you replace the part since the labor would be the same. After I told him what a fraud he was he told me it didnt matter anyway because they didnt charge me for the inspection. Unbelievable! On my way out I asked one of the techs why they would try to charge me for a part I dont need? His reply Thats just what mechanics do. I would warn anyone who reads this not to ever go this crooked business. I was just fortunate enough to catch them. I can only imagine how many innocent people they con on a daily basis.

Never again. Its been 8 days, & I still do not have my vehicle. My brakes went out, I was told the part needed (hose to the brakes) would take 3-4 days to receive from the manufacturer. Its been 8 days & I’ve heard nothing, even though being reassured they would keep me abreast if the situation. Though the staff may be very polite & courteous, I will never used this company again, yet again ever recommend them.

Had a very positive tire buying and installation experience. Never felt pressured and felt options were fairly presented and explained. Researched a lot of other tire dealers first and felt Big O had the most competitive prices. Work was done quickly.

Was told 30 minutes to reprogram my tire sensors to get rid of my tire pressure light turned into a 2 hour job and they replaced a sensor and the problem was still not fixed and turns out the bad sensor they said I had was not bad It was still working when I had another shop check it out.

I have been coming to Big O Tires for about 4 years (primarily Bermuda Dunes). I have always had great service and never seen any instance where they tried to upsale me on anything I didnt actually need. My last visit was at Cathedral Citys Big O Tires. They tried to upsale me on a Transmission Fluid Flush at 45,000 when its not due til 60,000 miles. Also, I came in with my tires low, which my light indicated and the greeter acknowledged. When I got my car back, the light was still on. I checked and the tires were still low, meaning they never checked the pressure which leaves me doubting the quality of the rest of the work, I was so frustrated about the overall experience and just left and took it somewhere else to fill my tires. I am truly disappointed, as it is hard to find good and HONEST mechanics. Up until this point, I have had a great experience with your company. I will not be coming back and I will not recommend anyone to come to your store.

My wife went in because she had a nail in her tire. I thought that they might try to convince her to buy a new tire or pair of tires as some places would do (whether its necessary depends on the size of the hole). No, they just patched it at a reasonable price which saved us a lot of money.

They tried to rip me off, they did not accept my coupon saying he had to pay the tech more because of my alignment. I am a tech and I know my car alignment is not hard, only the toe is adjustable in the front by adjusting the tie rods, the rear is only one adjustment as well. I drive a 2001 Acura Integra, they tried to charge me full price 90 and would not accept my coupon. Dont get robbed here.THIS WAS MY 2nd Time coming here the first time they put one of the tie rods too in on one side causing understeer. Find someone who knows what they are doing.

I called earlier before driving up,made them aware of prior bad experience at other big o tire shop which scratched my wheels.. Michael gave me his understanding, promised to take car of wheel and mount the tire,from the backside. I watched the guy doing the job,great awareness, not any scratch on my brand new alu wheel. The only advise i had to give was about torquing, after giving thw guy the manufacturer torque specs he used the torque wrench and it clicked right off without moving. Why?it was already overtorqued by the airgun.... Common handling problem in this industry. But at least they acknowledged the mistake and appreciated my comment about it.

Damaged a tire 2000 miles from home,, First place I tried told me it was a 2-3 month wait to get the tire I needed. Big O had one delivered in just over a day and got me back on the road.
