I had an amazing experience here at this dealership. My salesman was Gary Stone, and I highly recommend him. Gary was extremely informative and helpful, very patient and precise. We had no intention of leasing a vehicle, the dealership was supposed to have been a quick stop before Costco, but we ended up leasing a 2021 Acura TLX A-spec, which has been absolutely fantastic. I previously worked in car sales also, therefore I have high expectations for people in the same industry, but Gary did an outstanding job. He never once made me feel pressured into leasing the vehicle, but gave me my space throughout the process. He also had all the answers to my questions, and I was extremely impressed with his product knowledge. I have recommended him to many of my friends, and will continue to do so. Julio the general manager was also amazing, and very transparent. He gave me a very reasonable price for my trade in, and I was more than satisfied. I can not recommend this dealership enough. Their service, professionalism, and thoughtfulness throughout the process was more than anything I ever expected. They went above and beyond to make sure that I drove off the lot satisfied. I would give them six stars if I could in a heart beat.

Oscar Solis has made this entire experience really incredible. We have had some pretty bad experiences in the past with buying a car, so we were hesitant to say the least. With Covid-19 going around, we also did not want to spend hours at a dealership going back and forth. We contacted Oscar by phone and he took care of everything. We showed up the next morning, ready to go. Really, such a great and rewarding experience. Oscar listened to what we wanted, asked the right questions and was there to answer any questions we had. I took my 2017 Acura MDX in about a month ago because of a hard shift in the transmission. They said that transmission had a reprogramming available to fix that glitch so they reprogrammed it and changed the oil. When I got there to pick it up it was doing the same hard shift when I spoke to the service manager he said it would get better in a 1000 miles once the cars ECU reprogrammed shifting patterns and idle patents but a couple of 1000 miles later a problem is only getting worse and theyve refuse to acknowledge that something is wrong with the transmission saying it is working as it should. It even makes a clacking noise which they refuse to acknowledge.
Amazing service by Anthony and angel. They got me taken care of and pit me in a courtesy car while my rdx was being taken care of. These 2 went above and beyond to take care of me. The people here were so accommodating that we got incredible deal and it is the nicest car that Ive ever owned. get on down to Acura of the desert because youre going to get a good deal right now. Disappointing service department. I will reiterate what Elizabeth Ayala says below. And to top things off I had them inspect my car battery, which intern they told me was low and that I should take it back to where I purchased it from in the hopes of getting a new battery due to the warranty. I proceeded to do that immediately once I left after my first service appointment and while the technician tested it there in front of me for me to see it says that it was good and it passed. So who am I to believe the dealership right can’t see what they’re doing or the place where I purchased a battery from who allows me to see them testing it?And only when my wife puts a complaint on Google does the service manager from Acura decide to call our home and speak with us only to ask us to remove the negative comment and to try and convince us that the service provided was accurate. He claims to of been there for 13 years and that they don’t have negative reviews but going through these reviews I can tell that there are quite a few negative reviews within the past year or two.Then he has the audacity to offer us a service credit! Seriously, why would I want to bring my vehicle back to a place that I feel did me wrong! You claim to stand by your reputation when all I see is plenty of negative reviews regarding the dealership. Rather than a service credit how about you just give me my money back. I’m not gonna bring my vehicle to a place it cannot be trusted both by myself along with other individuals who have made reviews as well.I would also like to add that when I initially purchased my Acura I attempted to purchase it from Acura of the Desert but for some odd reason I was unable to get assistance that day. I ultimately went across the street to Honda of the Desert and purchased a used version of the vehicle that I wanted simply because I was not helped while at the Acura dealership. Now I figured it’s been five or six years maybe I’ll give them another opportunity and take my vehicle in for service and if they show me good customer service I’ll bring my business back to them and upgrade to a new vehicle. Well I guess that’s out the window and I’ll be taking my business elsewhere to another Acura dealership out of the valley.Ultimately, our expectation is to simply identify a problem with our vehicle, provide a brief explanation to a service department individual, and hope that they use that as a starting point to inspect our vehicle not as a absolute statement that this is the only thing wrong and we’re going to focus our attention on that.
Took my car in for service in the A/C. Fuses were replaced ($300). Trusting that it was fixed we went on our way! A week later my A/C went out yet again! When I took my car in the expectation that all components and parts of the A/C were checked out! That didn’t happen. Another $500 because something was missed! I feel it was on purpose so they could get more labor per hour!! I’m so disappointed in the service we received! Bad service

Well they were surely very nice while I was giving them money. But once my lease was up and I dropped my car off for the last time, they couldnt be bothered with me. I needed a ride home and not a single person was available. A secretary gave my a number for a taxi that was disconnected. They did everything except push me out the door. There is an old expression, Fair weather friends. Thats them. Needless to say they wont be getting my business again. EVER.
I just bought a brand new Acura RDX 2019. This is the third vehicle Ive purchased from this dealership. The service department is beyond helpful. They never turn anyone away because they are too busy. They listen to your issues and resolve them to your satisfaction. Buying a car here is the best experience one can have. Super friendly staff, explains the pros and cons of each car, and makes buying and financing the car a pleasant experience. They matched my bank rate and made sure my payments were not out of my price range. Also they DO NOT mark their cars up like many dealerships. In fact, they give many products away for free, like Spartan Shield paint and carpet protection. I cant say enough about how great this dealership is. I will not shop elsewhere!
From a sale standpoint Gary has been beyond helpful during my visit to buy an RDX and now a year later asking him for help on how to program a remote. He is there for you always a phone call away. From a service standpoint Julio and the service staff are beyond reproach. Always helpful, always ready to accommodate any requests. They know how to keep a client coming back. It was the beginning of the Virus debacle I had an Incident with our Acura TL... the insurance company wrote the vehicle off leaving us without wheels. A call to Acura and particularly GARY STONE of Acura of the Desert to pick his brain about a replacement vehicle without breaking the bank. Gary Stone immediately went into action and in hours put us into a used RLX. .a stunning vehicle and GARY STONE has been there for our every need since. HORRIBLE DEALERSHIP! I went to Acura of the Desert to see about purchasing a newer model Acura. When leaving I got two blocks and ran out of gas. Since my car is still under warranty and I have Acura Roadside Assistance I called to see if I could get someone in the service department to bring me a gallon of gas. They told me they dont do this and that my Roadside Assistance was out of date. I told them I had recently used it- they replied it had expired 4 years ago. My previous Acura dealership would do absolutely anything for me. This Acura dealership obviously could care less about its customers. I would never purchase a car from them and would definitely not recommend anyone purchasing an expensive Acura from this dealership when other luxury car dealerships take so much better care of their customers. A BMW salesman drove by me while I was stranded in the middle of the road and sent back a serviceman with a couple of gallons of gas at no charge. That says it all.

Initially I was looking to purchase a different vehicle but then I saw a promotional deal on the Acura RDX. I went to Acura of the Desert to take a look at the 2018 RDX and instantly fell in love. Oscar was the first sales person to immediately come out and greet me and my husband. He gave us all the pertinent details and comparisons with the different models. We took a test drive around the block while we talked and I never once felt pressured to buy. He was very straight forward about the prices and options. We then went inside and met with the sales and finance manager, Ty Thomas. I told him that I wanted the promotional deal that I saw advertised on TV and he gave it to me, just like that! The entire transaction took place in little over an hour and it was fast, simple, and easy to understand. Before we left, we were given a tour of the place and met with the service team and with Gil Martinez, the general manager. I drove three Acuras, then changed over to a Kia, When it came time to lease again, I went back to Acura of the Desert- mainly because of a sales associate there- Gary Stone- had kept in contact with me ( birthday greetings, Happy New Year, new car introductions...) I thought I would give Acura another try.From the initial Q/A, to the test drive, to the negotiation to the drive off- the experience was excellent. More than my expectations.Ty Thomas was very laid back, easy to deal with- but he definitely knew his numbers. Gil got involved later, and between the two of them helped make the deal happen. They listened patiently to my needs, expressed their own position and finally there was a meeting of the minds. All three individuals made the deal happen; they were all very courteous, knowledgeable and interested in me and doing business with me. ( I kept them all late, which was unfortunate, but I never felt rushed or pushed.) In my business I come into contact with many new residents to the desert. I look forward to recommending these individuals - Gary, Gil and Ty - to others
Level of attention given to my family and I was second to none, but was done so in a fashion that was pressure free and non intimidating. During the buying process, we had formal and personal conversations with various staff members from the G.M. down to the service counter technician and all where extremely personable and down to earth. Weve purchased with numerous dealerships from the Coachella Valley to San Bernardino in the past, and this experience is hands down the best one that I can recall. In the end, we drove off the lot with two new vehicles.

Sales staff know no important details. One used siri in front of me for the 0 to 60 numbers.3 guys in there late 60s with Acura shirts were sitting. And we were told the salesman was with a customer.Full disclosure I owned 3 Acuras. A robot or a web Video would be more effective.I get ageism in the palm. Springs area Its a retirement community.If your in the market for a Acura drive west.. This dealership is a post retirement job opportunity., and doesnt appear serious when salespeople sit and we are given answers from siri.....I havent crossed Acura yet off my list. But it will be at a other dealership

We bought an Acura MDX which was a first for us. Acura of the Desert has a final price written on every car window...no dickering or stress about pricing. We had researched details of the model we wanted plus had a price in mind. The window price was less than we could find anywhere else. Randy greeted us at the door and went above and beyond to find answers for any questions. We bought in Calif. to be licensed in WA which is our permanent home. This was very complicated requiring title transfer to take place in AZ! Randy patiently worked out all the details and all went smoothly. He was deligent in explaining the features of the car...especially the new safety features as well as the luxury details. We highly recommend Randy and Corvette and Debbie--all of whom were necessary to get us headed home with our new MDX.

However, the staff at the dealership were so accommodating the moment we arrived from the car salesman, (John), the sales manager (Joe), and the finance manager (Kim) that we went from just looking around to now deciding what color vehicle we were going to choose.What stood out to me most from the evening hapenened when myself and the wife were considering leaving to go check out another dealership as we just werent sure if we were ready to commit and the sales manager looked at us and said, what will it take to keep you from leaving and making this deal?After a few minutes of negotiations, Joe the sales manager made us an offer that we simply couldnt walk away from and an hour later, we drove off in a brand new 2017 RDX Acura. Let me a start of by saying me and my family have purchased multiple cars from here. The quality of customer service is not what it once was it has deteriorated to the level of other dealerships the days of the customer being number one at acura of the desert are no more. I recently stopped by to look at a TLX I didnt get any help until about 25 minutes of roaming the lot. I was approached by a sales rep I wont use his name because I can tell he was new but he knew absolutely nothing about the nothing and I mean nothing at all about the cars so I asked him do you think you can ask someone else for the answer his reply that means I would have to split this sale. I understand I sell real estate but how do you expect me to pay forty thousand for a car I dont know anything about? So I left and got a new Lexus at Shottenkirk desert Lexus they treated me with great respect and matched Acuras price on a comparable brand new ES 350 sedan. In the end it all worked out but acura lost what would have been an easy sale

I inquired about parts from Cesar, and asked him to send me an email confirming prices and availability. Never received and email! then he proceeded to charge my CC card with no confirmation from me. When I called to inquire and cancel the charge he stated a 20% fee for cancelling the order I never confirmed.Stay away from the Parts dept. Overpriced, discourteous and not very honest!

Terrible experience at this dealership. Unethical salesmen and finance department. They are willing to make a deal but beware of the tactics they use after the Lease Agreement is signed. One day later the finance department calls urgently requesting that another document be signed because they forgot. There is no bona fide error. Do not be a victim to their tactics and deceitful ways. Do not recommend!
Was advised from a AAA repair facility that there was an open recall on my vehicle. They took it over there for me so acura could perform repairs at no charge. I get a call from service advisor Parker that my vehicle needed spark plugs and other things. I was very upset with him trying to sell me service that was done already the day before by a trusted AAA facility. Be careful when you take your vehicle in for service at this place they will try to push additional services that are not needed get a second opinion.

I went in on Sunday May 29th to trade in my Acura TL for a RDX. Gary Stone was awesome!I got the car I wanted for the price and payment I wanted. The new GM is so nice and worked with using my trade in. This is our 4 th Acura from Acura of The Desert. We keep business local not only because we like help our community with sales but because Acura of The Desert is a really great dealership. Staff is always friendly and go above and beyond. Gary set my car up with all the tech technology throughly explained everything to us. Thank you again for a positive experience !!

I drove from Portland, Oregon to Palm Springs with my 2 boys for Spring Break 2013 when my 189,000 2002 MDX died due to transmission issues. It made into the dealership for an estimate and the estimate was not safe to drive back home, so the Sales Manager, Gene, as he is leaving for the day shows us the the RDX. I already told him i did not like the RDX but he insisted the 2013 was different. He was right. He asked Greg to bring around one for my to test drive and i fell in love with the car. Greg and Dan - the GM of the dealership worked a deal i could not walk away from, thank you team Acura for my 2nd brand new car off the Acura lot. Much appreciated.
