I love this little place!!! Every time we are in town, we make sure and stop by. The food is so fresh and delicious!The offer breakfast, lunch and dinner options. Their salads are excellent, they have great bread for GF and the sandwiches are loaded with meat as you can see. Youre not going to starve. They offer different types of bread for the REGULAR crowd. They also have desserts. Make sure and stop by, its definitely worth your time! They also have some of the cleanest and nicest smelling bathrooms 👌

I was very impressed! First impression is it is a cute little deli, bakery spot right on the main street. My salad was incredible! I love the dressing and we also got a sandwich salad that was very good! Service was prompt and by the time I had washed my hands in the bathroom my food was on the table. The inside of the restaurant was very clean!

I got the Italian club on french bread. The bread was light and fluffy. The salami and the pesto spread had great flavor. I split a sandwich to hold me over for a hike but would recommend getting your own sandwich for more of a meal.

Great atmosphere for family and children. Cindy was amazing. The chef made a fantastic Asian salad. The food was ready before we finish paying the bill. All food is locally grown. You can taste it. No wine. Sandwich is amazing on sourdough bread lightly toasted.Stop in and feel at home.

I was so excited for my breakfast but I was disappointed when they gave me breakfast burrito not fresh. Everything inside was frozen or raw. I asked a burrito with eggs, mushrooms, peppers, onion and cheese. They put frozen egg barely toasted with cheese and raw vegetables. I really wanted breakfast burrito made from scratch and scrambled eggs.Place looks nice and it’s a great location. Just wanted to share with you so you won’t get dissatisfied as a breakfast is most important meal of the day.

We love the Pastry pub, its part of the Shakespearean festival experience. Park at the theater and walk down the street to the pastry pub. When youre done with your wonderful meal, you can walk back down to the Green show and youll already have a great parking spot.They have wonderful salads, yummy breads and sandwiches. I bought a pecan coconut cookie this time that was delicious. Turns out its gluten free. They even have a fabulous breakfast menu😄I do wish they would stay open a little later, after the shows, so we could stop and get a treat.

I love this place and I definitely have a good impression on it since its my first time! I tried the Strawberry Shortcake and the Large Cookie and they were both excellent! The shortcake was nice and fluffy. It had the strawberry flavor and strawberries on it. So nicely decorated. The cookie was also warm! Great service and the café is well organized. I just stopped to check it out, but they have a huge variety on the menu for all the meals.

Fantastic salads tonight! I loved my Summer Salad with fresh fruit, chicken, feta, avocado and blood orange vinaigrette dressing. Delish!

A local gem.Food:Unlike your average soup, salad, sandwich shop.. pastry pub has something for everyone on their extensive & unique menu. There is always something on the menu that sounds good, even when I’m in the “I’m hungry but nothing sounds good” mood. The food all looks, smells, and tastes like grandmas kitchen. They use the best & most fresh ingredients available.Indoors:The setting is very unique but offers warmth and comfort. It’s a very bright & happy environment topped off with flourishing live plants here and there. The floors are clean and shiny each time I go, as well as the tables. They are quick with orders and haven’t gotten any of mine wrong yet. Very friendly local staff!COVID-19:Other reviews have stated that Pastry Pub does not enforce masks. This is incorrect. There are signs in the entrance of the store that state a mask requirement. The tables inside are set up to accommodate social distancing, and there are more signs inside asking people not to touch the bad of chips and items on the counters to reduce potential transfer of the virus. They meet all state requirements on their end. They cannot fully control if individuals choose to disregard the mask signs, and quite frankly, in an already struggling economy, I would not blame them if they didn’t turn away customers regardless of their face covering or lack thereof.

Great establishment, superb service, amazing food, perfect ambiance,and perfect sensible price. Perfect also for families and they do have vegetarian options for you folks out there who are looking for such. If any of you are meat eaters, this is a gem you dont want to miss. Highly recommend.

This is an old favorite of the local people! I love the hot pastrami sandwich! My wife always enjoys the citrus salad. They have yummy desserts and seasonal soups.

Counter-serve means no server comes to your table to take your order; you give the order in at the counter, and when ready, it is delivered to your table. Once you have one, that is; during the busiest times, the wait for a table is significant.The main reason is the food: excellent sandwiches with impressive side salads, hot entrées (like the steak picatta my spouse enjoyed) which also come with sizeable side salads, and entrée salads which are impressive in both quantity and quality. Theres also the proximity to the SUU campus coupled with a 10% discount with valid student ID.Finally, there is a reason it is Pastry and not Pasty Pub, as I first misread the sign. A pastry case up front is filled with examples of the yummy desserts and breads they offer. Some are already made, available to buy at the counter where you order your food. Others, like my Pudding Cake, an individual serving of chocolate cake and vanilla pudding, take a little time to prepare. Mothers, beware! Your little cookie-eater will be finished before your custom-baked carrot cake arrives!

This used to be my favorite place in town, I went there all the time and would walk in to staff I knew who knew me and my order, it was a great time with great ambiance and decorations that created a beautiful atmosphere. Since changing owners about a week ago they’ve removed most of the menu, removed ALL the amazing pictures and tapestries, I don’t see any familiar faces in the staff, and the food is nowhere near as good. If you ever came here for a sandwich don’t come back, they’ve honestly ruined their classic herbal sauces and the food is clearly not made with anywhere near the amount of care that was standard before. Pastry Pub has been drained of all its character and most of the quality that I knew and loved it for, and is clearly trying to become some hip new things that it never was meant to be and doesn’t execute well. Now instead of recommending it to every coworker and foodie family member, my advice is Don’t Waste Your Time.

I had a turkey wrap that I enjoyed but I think it could have been filled a little more and the option for a warm wrap would be great. But the price was more than fair. Even cheap but the food quality was great. The baclava is perfect. Very flaky

Came here randomly because Centro was packed and WOW. Best pastrami sandwich I’ve ever had. Staff was so kind, food came quick and was EXCELLENT. My fiancé and I shared a piece of cheese cake which was amazing and I bought another piece of carrot cake. 5 stars, what a treat.

I come to the Pastry Pub once or twice every summer when I come to Cedar City for the Utah Shakespeare Festival. When I walked in this year, I could tell it was different and found there are new owners. The menu is a little different, but I found what I always order was still delicious. In fact, the Chocolate Tiger Cake tasted fresher than it has for several years. We ordered the Chipotle sandwich, California sandwich, Pub Club sandwich, and Chicken Club salad. I loved Pastry Pub under the previous owners, and I still loved both meals I had this summer.

Changed owners and the menu has changed with it. Not sure I like the new menu, because they got rid of a lot of the best dishes. They dont even have a roast beef sandwich anymore! Still, it is the Pastry Pub which is still great food. But I wish theyd bring back the crunchy Italian salad. It was the best salad Ive ever had.

Wish they would enforce masks. Several groups came in without a mask. Definitely wont be coming back for that reason.As far as the food, this pub has an identity crisis. The menu and decor is all over the place and confusing. No idea why its called pastry pub because it lacks both. That being said, my sandwich was excellent!

Such good service! We had a large group and the restaurant was packed. One of the staff proactively went out of his way to put a table together and showed us to it. Everyone we interacted with was professional, friendly, and fast, even while they were busy. Good service is rare these days, but these people knocked it out of the park!

I went on a Wednesday, before the Shakespeare Festival and it was a wonderful experience. The food was fantastic. The service was pleasant and friendly. I liked it so much, we went again on the following Friday, before going to another Shakespeare Festival show. I wanted to order the same food. I was told I couldnt order a half sandwich, unless someone else in the group ordered the other half of the sandwich. I didnt have that problem two days earlier. It is a self-seat restaurant. We slid two small tables together to fit four of us together. We were told we werent allowed to do that. We were put at a small table with four chairs, where we could hardly fit our plates on the table. The place wasnt very full. Shortly after we started eating, someone else took the two tables and put them together for three people. They werent corrected. Very buggy. The food was still delicious, but it wasnt a friendly place.

Delicious sandwiches and salads!

New owners and it does not have the same feel or menu that it previously did. Recipes were changed, the bagels arent the same and the ambiance is difference. Its called Pastry Pub but its being moved to have more of a trendy feel vs a pub feel. Its fine, the food is fine, but its not the Pastry Pub Ive loved for so long.Also, they close at 8:30, we came in at 7:50 and they had put all of the chairs up around us by 8. :/

SO disappointed that they’ve changed their menu. I’ve tried ordering two of my favorites that they no longer offer. I called in an order at 12:30 went to pick up at 1:00 and waited an additional 20 minutes for a half sandwich half salad. It had been ready and just sitting behind the counter while the employees were chatting. I had to ask how much longer it was going to take because I was going to be late getting back to work before they acknowledged that it was in fact ready for me. :( I do like the grab and go option. Please bring back the original menu items!!

I called to order my favorite salad and, alas, they have changed the whole menu. The Pastry Pub has been such a great place around here for so long, I am surprised all of the best hits are now gone. Unfortunately I didnt see anything on the new menu that seemed unique anymore. Bummer.

Walking into the place is like stepping into a small European restaurant. The prices are very reasonable and the food delicious. I ordered an Italian club sandwich on a sub sandwich bread. I was shocked at the extreme size of the sandwich. It was like having a whole loaf of bread. The best part of the meal was the fruit tart. It literally melts in your mouth.

The best gluten free restaurant in southern Utah. The pastry pub has delicious gluten free sandwiches and other foods. They also sometimes carry gluten free pastries/cookies. I highly suggest stopping in Cedar City for their pastrami sandwich on gluten free bread if youre driving through on I-15. Service is great, and bathrooms are clean. Theres also a pizza place next door that does gluten free. But the pastry pub is my favorite.

We arrived 30 minutes before closing not expecting to stay there that long. Our food came out and slowly all of the other guests had finished their food and left. Around 8:15 they started stacking all of the other chairs and vacuuming while we still eating. It made it impossible to have a conversation while we were eating and made us feel like we had to rush our eating. Just wish that they would have waited until we had left before vacuuming and stacking chairs.

I love this place! The food is always fresh and so good, doesnt matter if its the old owners or the new ones.

The sandwiches were excellent and not a bad price. They were so big, we had to take some food home. It is also right across from the university and a farmers market on Saturdays.

Not very impressed with this place. I do not eat very much and tried to order from the kids menu (12 and under) and they said that I had to order from the actual menu. The cashier said they are being more strict on policy now.The food also isnt spectacular and you could go elsewhere for way better food. We got mad dogged by one of the workers for a while which made us very uncomfortable.

I shared the loaded Pastrami and the California bagel and both were amazing! Would highly recommend! I will be eating here again. Also, the service was amazing and they were super friendly.Chocolate shake is also top notch.

Id do 0 stars if possible. The menu was super convoluted and was hard to put together what was what. The service was well below average. When they were made aware of them bringing out our order wrong, we were told they were busy and he just brushed us off. We also saw various other patrons receive wrong orders. I dont know why people still go here or how they are still in business if other customers even get half as bad of service as we received. This used to be a decent place, I dont know what happened. The food isnt worth the negative experience.

We ate there once and ordered Ubereats. Dont order Ubereats from here!!! They dont get the order and the driver has to order the food. I only got half of my order and they didnt try to help me when I called them. They said they have nothing to do with Ubereats yet they are listed on the site. Bad experience with both the restaurant and the delivery service. Food is just ok, not worth the hastle.

Was very impressed. A little busy when we went but even so it remained a relaxing and quite environment- thanks in part to the music playing. I ordered the current Special- a Summer Berry Salad and a 1/2 Sandwich. Im kinda picky regarding sandwiches and this one passed. Great tasting French bread w/ Turkey, Romaine, Tomato and Sprouts with a fresh Strawberry and Blueberry salad. Ingredients were perfectly fresh and delicious. Didnt get any dessert but looked delicious. Definitely coming back next time I stop in Cedar City.*Edit: I went back and had a pastry. It was delicious.

I am in town for a conference and it was recommended that I stop here for food. I honestly probably wouldnt have thought to come here on my own, not knowing much about it. But it was DELICIOUS!! Its a small little eatery but the food and service was great! Id highly recommend it!

They use the word pub as a play on words--not an actual pub. However, they do have delicious sandwiches and if you like chocolate, you should try a to-die-for dessert called The Chocolate Tiger. If you are even just driving by Cedar City, you should stop by and try it out.

Visited The Pastry Pub following a local recommendation and wasnt let down. The club sandwich and southwest salad I had was fresh and delicious. The menu is overwhelming to view and could benefit from a layout makeover to clarify the meal ordering options from the food options. Enjoyed the pub atmosphere and decor (granted Ive never been in an actual pub). Im looking forward to coming again when in Cedar City to try out other menu items...and maybe some of those good looking desserts.

Had Reuben sandwich it was very good you could taste all the different flavors of the sandwich. Service was also good.

Been coming here ever since I was a little kid (at least 15 years!) Its my favorite place to stop. I love that an entire sandwich only costs $7 including a top. The veggie sandwich is my absolute favorite!

I got the chipotle sandwich, and it’s better than any sandwich you can get in Salt Lake.I kid you not, this was worth the 4 hours I drove to end up in Cedar City. Seriously. Please check this place out and support them! You won’t regret it.

I get the Pastry Pub Salad almost every time I go there and it is AWESOME! The owner, Cyrus, is a great host and is very active with the customers. All of the food he buys for the restaurant is local which is cool. You may wait from time to time as it is the best lunch spot in Cedar City.

Went in for breakfast, everything is microwaved. There are four big microwaves on the line, no grill. Steak and eggs are precooked then microwaved

Wow. I didnt know GF could be so good!We had bfast bagels. They are huge!! I got the California-- fresh tomatoes & tasty avocado. Delicious! Hubby got the cheese bagel with ham and egg. It was toasty hot and amazing! Even my 8yo grandson loved his plain with plain cream cheese-- and hes a tough customer! His first response was yum! And he ate the whole thing!Nice work, well be back!
