There are several specific items that I go to Natural Grocers for, that cant be found elsewhere--or if they can, at least their price is competitive.Ive never been disappointed in their fruits and vegetables.The only down side is, I have asked for the availability/ordering potential of a few things, but they seem to have a fairly limited capacity to order new things in. When they CAN get them, they ask that you buy a whole case!

I have been to Natural Grocers many times since 2020! They always update and provide competitive organic products! What a wonderful shop to sustain my vitamin and health diets! I love pasture raise eggs mostly!

Staff is SUPER knowledgeable and friendly. I always enjoy visiting. Prices arent too bad for natural foods!

The gentleman working the vitamin/supplements department was very knowledgeable, helpful and patient.Visited 10/23 about 11am or noon.

Well I liked it but it was so expensive and in grocery section just as expensive with little amount for the price.

I didnt have much time to shop however, I did get some reasonably priced spring water. I was wrongfully charged a 5 cent return bottle fee. However, I will get that back the next time I return.

Im glad we have this store in the Cedar Valley. Clean, interesting. Also like the fact that there are clerks in the aisles (or nearby) available to answer any questions!

First time shopping here and the staff was very helpful. I couldnt believe how affordable the products were compared to Hy-Vee or Walmart. I will definitely be shopping here again and again.

Went just to get soap. Had a great selection. The workers were very friendly. Bring your face covering they are requiring it. Looked like they had lots of foods to choose from too, but we didnt look at them specifically.

Great selection of items. Everything from food to body care. They also have a community Erin in the front with a kitchen that can be used for cooking lessons. Most recently my #Toastmasters club has been meeting there. It’s pretty cool. I’ve always had really positive experiences with the staff. Overall this is the spot to eat and live more natural!

Unlike other grocers Ive been to. I hear it is a chain. This particular one has a close community feel to it. I dont know if that makes any sense but thats how it felt to me. When you enter, the carts are to your right and youre greeted with sweets on your left. For a grocery store that is on the organic natural side of things, they sure do advertise and sell lots of sweets. That is not a bad thing. I love it! I take advantage of the assorted flavored individually wrapped candies as Im shopping but saving the wrappers to pay at checkout. It just makes everything that much better. The employees are engaging making sure youre comfortable in your shopping experience (thats what it felt like to me anyways) and have been very helpful and friendly. They even suggested recipes to try around a dish I was making. I think is really awesome about this place is that they have a kitchen that basically anyone can use to have discussions about cooking or recipe sharing and how to make certain dishes. They tell me all you have to do is sign up and the kitchen is yours. There is a schedule, as to not overlap another persons time in the kitchen so, that makes sense. THEYRE NOT high dollar expensive. I say it that way because Ive seen items there that were less than Wal-Mart. Naturally id think everything there would be crazy expensive but its not.

What I went in there for was on sale!!! I felt like I hit the jackpot!!!

First time visit. My husband is lactose intolerant. They had the best selection of vegan dairy products we have found anywhere in the area. Store is a bit pricey, as are all stores of this type, but I thought in general they seemed a little more reasonable than other health food chains I have visited. Large grocery store with a lot of selection. Nice looking organic produce. They also run some nice sales and specials. Store was very clean and well organized. Definitely plan to return.

My first time here and it was a great experience. Asked for help and a staff member took me to the area I was looking for. Was very knowledgeable about the supplement I was looking at and gave me advice!

EXCELLENT quality products. Register personnel are pleasant and knowledgeable about products. Its mostly a store for vitamins and alternative medicines/supplements, but they do have a decent selection of healthy foods (groceries, milk, meats, snacks, etc.), natural soaps, lotions, essential oils, so much more. A little costly on pricing, but the sales make it worth coming in. This is the go-to place for healthy nutrition. They give classes in store for healthy cooking- the sign is posted in the front of the store.

In my opinion they have a great selection of essential oils, carrier oils and a wide variety of products containing essential oils. I bought my diffuser here and it works great! I liked the fact that the store had different diffusers turned on and running so I could see how each one worked. Made my decision of which one to purchase easier. The store when I have been in there has always been clean. Fast and friendly checkout. Im newer to using essential oils so I wish there was someone who is certified that worked in that area on a regular basis that could answer my questions. So far it has been hit or miss.

Ive been traveling for the past 3 months across the country and shop almost entirely organic. I have to say this retail chain store is my favorite. Any time I see a natural grocers on my route or in my area I smile. Great products and produce. Along with a wide selection of them. Very affordable prices (probably some of the best). Love their products and they have a lot of stuff other places dont like organic dehydrated apple rings. I always stock up. Usually they have good sales going on. Friendly staff. Dont know what more I could ask for.

I first noticed Natural Grocers because it was on the way to the house I used to tutor at. Sometimes after tutoring, I explored the store. It has so many vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options that those with dietary restrictions/concerns, this is the place for you. It was very helpful after I decided to become vegan for Lent last year and then later when I decided to continue being a vegan. I recommend shopping here because it has a lot of natural and healthy options to buy, and this grocery store doesnt use plastic bags. Rather, you put your groceries in reusable grocery bags and/or boxes.

Ive only been here once, but I seriously love this place. They have tons of unique foods that you cant find in a lot of other places. Its a lot like Hy-Vees health market section but with a much larger selection.The staff was very friendly and helpful as well!

We enjoy this store very much. It is cheaper than HyVee Health Market and the staff is so friendly and helpful. I love the variety they offer and get almost all of our groceries here.

Thrilled to have this option. Not quite as big as New Pi in Cedar Rapids but a really good variety of gluten free foods and a pretty nice produce section.sales staff is very helpful and friendly. Would love to see a slow growth meat counter and a fresh bakery added.

We dont buy groceries here, a little out of our price range. But we do gett our drinking water here. They have the best and cheapest dispensed water in town. And probably the best Ive had anywhere in the nation

Fresh and friendly are the first words that I think of. Fresh produce and fresh new products that arent always found locally. If you need some help while shopping, the workers will get what you need or make recommendations.

Good quality food at a good price. There is a nice variety of food and other products to choose from. The staff is very helpful. There is plenty of parking space also.

Only visited one time since its about an hour away. Good selection but was disappointed with the prunes I purchased. Felt sick after eating them so I checked the label and noticed it said, May contain debris. Really? Thats a little too natural for me. I did rinse them off before eating but had I known about the debris I would not have purchased them.

While youre inside you can pretend you live somewhere interesting like Denver, CO or Portland, OR. Great grocery store, all organic produce with a nice selection. Wide variety of packaged foods for all kinds of needs - Gluten Free, Grain Free, Vegan, Lactose Intolerant, etc. etc. Plus a big section for nutritional supplements, vitamins and botanicals.

So so, but nice to have another option in the Cedar Valley with higher quality food products. Pretty light on locally sourced items which was disappointing. Prices about where expected for the products they carry.

They actually have a lot of vegan food there. During my last visit a cashier actually yelled at my daughter for touching products.... last I checked you should be able to touch them in order to purchase such items... I hope to never deal with her again. Other then that its clean, but a bit on the pricey side. At least I can find vegan mayonnaise there and my egg substitutes. That is a big plus for me.

We only go here to refill our water containers. Best tasting and cheapest RO water in the valley. Never have purchased anything else here yet.

I will buy everything but produce from them. I believe they dont have a high turnover rate. I bought produce on Thursday. By Saturday morning it was spoiled.Also, things you would normally pay a flat price for, i.e., cauliflower @ 1.99 per head, you pay by the pound. Total smoke screen! Beware!
