Thought Id already reviewed them, but, maybe not. Good technical work, personable owners, the work they do isnt cheap, but if you compare shops of similar workmanship and knowledge, theyre a bargain.Be patient with scheduling, believe theyre bringing on an assistant to help, there was a few issues there, but nothing that delayed the overall final product significantly.Also they were happy to adjust things after the sale, and were reasonable about working me in promptly, which says more about them than the paid service, imo.

Stacey/Jerry Aikman are some great people who offer great services. Brought my 95 Impala SS in for a street tune after an LS3 motor swap and they had it done to perfection in 3 days. Love their friendly attitude and very professional. I will be coming back for more great services. Thanks.

My car was brought to them for a tune after I installed the new injectors and intake manifold. The car made 650 to the wheels prior to the upgrades and switching to E85. They needed to install a FPR for me and run the return back to the tank. 3.5 weeks later they said the car was ready. Got there and they said the car made good numbers then said she made 475 on a 150 shot. Mind you the car made 450 on motor before I brought it there.And somehow my pcm got switched out from a 2002 trans am. So now I inherited the problems that trans am was having. So I spent 1200 to make my car slower. At that point I was too scared to take it back to have any more tuning done.Really hate doing this but I got hosed bad.

Best shop Ive been to in a long time. Definitely going to them for the rest of my build. They are upfront and honest about their work, even post pictures and videos of the work being done. One hundred percent would recommend to anyone in the Austin area. Thank you guys!

I bought a truck a few months ago and have been from shop to shop trying to get my truck to pass inspection (emissions). Upon buying this truck it was in another county and never had to pass emissions. Long story short this was the 4th shop i took my truck to and low and behold after having my truck diagnosed and tuned it passed inspection. Jerry at Aikman is the only person who puts his hands on my Corvettes. They are very busy, so if youre in a hurry, that might be tough, but there is a reason theyre busy. Their quality of work is top notch, and Jerry will put the time needed into any project to make sure it comes out as it should.

They were able to fix a mess of a vehicle that I had in a quick turnaround. Good service and very upfront with what needed to be done with no added unneeded services. Would definitely recommend.

Wow...Im just like...WOW! Where to begin. So I brought my Mustang GT to them because it was sputtering, bucking and kicking like a mule when I opened up the throttle and it downshifted. They initially were not sure what it was because when I drove it with their Mustang mechanic, Jose I think his name was, it drove perfectly which was incredibly irritating. As they were looking at my car I asked to take pictures of another car that was next to mine. It was awesome and I wanted to show my car group, but she acted a little funny about it and seemed reluctant but ultimately said yes so I got a couple pics and posted them in the group. Anyway my Ngauge was throwing codes for the replacement of an O2 sensor so they went on and replaced that. As I was leaving the woman, no names on this one, but we will just say that she was the only female working there, began bashing Lund, their process, customer service and policies while even making reference to the shop I had my car in prior to theirs. I just wanted to leave but she went on, and on, and on...I must have stood there a good 15 minutes while she ranted and raved. Finally I was able to get out and I went into my group where I had posted the pictures and someone asked a specific question about the car that I had posted the pictures of and I responded saying that I was unable to get that info to answer his question because I didnt think the lady wanted me to take the pics to begin with so all I really felt comfortable in doing was snapping those 2 picturesand getting out of there.And you are not going to believe what happened next!She actually called me while I was at home and griped me out and that she didnt appreciate me saying that...Saying what, the truth?! I never mentioned any names, company or specifics, nor did I even say a single negative thing about her I just simply said that I was unable to answer his questions because she was acting a little weird about me taking pics to begin with. When she called she actually lectured me and repeatedly tried to speak over me about why she acted weird about the pictures. She justified her behavior but yet didnt appreciate me telling the truth. She actually said the reason I acted weird was because such and such.... So she admitted that she acted weird about me taking the pictures, but apparently didnt like me saying she acted weird to my car group even though no one knew who I was talking about...the woman is clearly troubled and insecure.I was floored that she would call me on my personal phone, at home, during business hours, representing her company, to confront me about something I said on Facebook. INCREDIBLY unprofessional!!! Having said that I absolutely loved Jose, he was amazing, but because of her aggressive behavior and the fact that my car is still sputtering, I will never return again.

I did not mention them by name but they called me on my cell anyway becacaus they assumed I was talking about them and I was harrassed at home after I said something that was in reference to them on Facebook, but never actually named the shop itself. Many other shops to choose from, dont go here, you might wish you hadnt

Took my car in for a tune and had a miserable experience. I feel like they were super busy and had over booked the shop. I run a shop and ive done the same thing. It happens. What I didnt do that they did is make up stories about customers cars having problems that they dont have. They tell me that my car is having all kinds of issues to buy more time, but then when I tell them Im gonna just come get it, all the problems are suddenly gone and the car is already on the dyno. So all good the car is tuned and I go pay and pick it up.Literally on the way home from their shop the car will not shift from 2nd to 3rd at wot, like the shift points are set incorrectly. So I turn around to bring the car back and 2nd gear is now totally missing. I limp it back home and determine that the transmission is wasted. Am I 100% percent sure they damaged it? No. I am 100% sure that the wot shift point was set wrong.So I order a new transmission and install it. I take the car to a different tuner who was able to point out multiple flaws in the tune. The tuner fixed those issues and actually found around 30hp that aikman couldnt.Taking my car here was a $3000 mistake

Fixed my problem and had me on my way in no time. Very friendly and knowledgeable people.

These are, hands down, the COOLEST mother flipping ppl I have EVER had the pleasure of doing business with!I’ve owned several Corvettes, GTR’s, Porsche’s, a Lamborghini Gallardo and a half a dozen Evo’s. (One of which I bought back 4 times! Lol)Anyway, the level of expertise and professionalism is through the roof! Not only does Jerry make you feel like your car is “THE MOST IMPORTANT car in the shop,” which is hard to do with so much business. He and Mrs. Stacey go above and WAY beyond by promptly answering all calls, text, and facebook msgs as fast as possible.He’s a true car guy. He loves any and everything that’s fast. And if it isn’t, he’s more than happy to make it that way! 🤣For instance, I have a Custom Jeep Wrangler with an AEV pick-up Bed, 37’s, 4.5” lift, and everything imaginable that you can bolt to it. Well, It was feeling sluggish. So I purchased a Procharger kit for it. Not the best idea, as I found myself struggling to locate a tuner shortly after the package arrived 😞. I happened to be talking to Jerry about the ordeal and to my surprise, he said, “bring it over, and we’ll take care of it!”And no, he’s not a Mopar tuner. But that didn’t stop Jerry! He reached out to Ryan Hogan from Flyin Ryan Performance in Houston. Who, with Jerry’s Help, remote tuned the giant Tonka toy.I received msgs until about 2:30am!!! And these guys close at 6pm!! Talk about dedication and customer appreciation! (Knowing I was gnawing my fingernails to the bone waiting on results 😬) Not only did they surpass my expectation with the tuning. Going from 198whp stock, to over 400whp at 6500rpm, on 37’s, mind you. That’s Hemi 6.4l power!!🤤The best part, it was ready for pick up just 4 days after dropping it off!! 🤗

I started using Aikman Performance after getting the suggestion from a car group I belong to shortly after purchasing my car. I will never take my vehicles anywhere else. Jerry is super honest, if it needs to be done, it needs to be done, if there are a number of things that need fixed, he will tell you what needs to be done now, and what can be put off. There is a reason its tough to get in, everyone around here trust their cars to Aikman. As long as I live in this area, I will bring my cars to Aikmen, new or used.

If i could rate negative stars i would. Appearently business is going so well the lady at the counter can afford to be rude to customers, not return business calls, and tell potential customers that they are too busy to take any kind of business at all because better cars are there?As soon as I walked in the door i was greeted with a what I said I had left a message a while back but hadnt received a return call. She said hes been in class out of town and we just got back. She the said what do you want? Still in a little shock i said i had a truck i needed to get worked on.She became defensive for some reason and said it will be 2-3 weeks before we can even look at it. I said ok. She asked if they had worked on it already and i said no, i was looking for reckhart performance and this was here instead. Ive never been here before.She then asked what was wrong with my truck and i said nothing, I need an LSX swap done as soon as possible and Im ready to do it.She then said that it would be 2 probably 3 months before they will look at it because they have more important clients. She said we just got a corvette and a zl1. I said well ok then thats too bad, have a nice day. And she said mmmhmmm.Terrible experience, wont be recommending this shop to anyone i know. And this review will be posted in lsx forums. Even if business is booked up you cant be rude to customers for no reason. And you should refer them elsewhere. Im sure i can find plenty of shops to do the work. Hope she doesnt run the business.
