The other positive reviews are accurate. This is a great storage facility. Location, overall cleanliness and friendly helpfulness of staff are all strong points.The rent raises arent my favorite feature, but I got in at a decent rate a couple years ago and my 37% (over 2 years) increased rate is still a good bit cheaper than the current market rate, so I cant complain. There were a few mouse droppings after 2 years without anyone visiting the unit, but just in one area, on the floor. All of my things were fine. Despite that one issue, its the first storage unit Ive had that I actually dont mind visiting regularly.

Kathy, the site manager. There are many places we can store our junk and I simply chose the one closest to us. Kathy took the extra time to make sure our 5x5 (smallest unit available) was good, noticed some wasps nearby, and ensured everything was good. I made an almost random choice, and am very glad I did!!

I had things stolen from my cube. No one could really do anything about it. The folks there are nice, and the storage unit was large, but for what I paid for, not very secure.

The staff worked diligently to get me signed up as I was in a huge hurry to get my movers working. They were courteous and went out of their way to go to the store to get bee spray for the three nests that were on the above doorway entrance. The space was perfect for our property. Also, it is close to our temporary home, so that is very convenient. Thank you! Great job. :)

Kathy Browne was awesome. She was kind, knowledgeable, and helped us get out the door quickly! The facilities are very clean and we picked a unit with climate control that was surprisingly very cool for 100+ outdoor temps. Would highly recommend Cube Smart.

I am so relieved to have found this CubeSmart location! I feel my belongings are super secure as well as myself in visiting this particular area in the late evenings. Their hours of gate operation for entering and existing are better than the competition as well as the prices. The on site managers are so friendly, informative and easy to work with. I happen to stumble upon a great special with CubeSmart. Esther assisted me at the Burnet Road location and connected me with Shelli and I am extremely satisfied to say the least. I was looking for a safe, nice and affordable place to store one of our cars for a few months and was lucky enough to find Cube Smart! I drove over and met with their GM Kathy Browne, and after a few minutes, I knew that I had found my place!Not only was the facility very well cared for, but Kathy was a pleasure to work with. She found me a perfect spot, at a great rate for my car.I parked my car in a 10x20 indoor space, put my lock on and was off, and could not be happier!The paperwork was easy to fill out, and Kathy made it all a very a smooth and very easy process, so I definitely feel good about recommending this place to everyone!

This is the first time Ive had to rent a storage unit in over 20 years. Just moved to the Austin area and chose CubeSmart even though it wasnt the closest to me. Their pricing seemed very competitive until...If you dont bring a lock WITH you at time of contract...you pay. If you dont have insurance coverage...you pay. Ok, not happy but moved ahead with the deal because I had stuff that I needed to store that day. Now after three months their great price just got jacked up by more than 40%! Im out of here as soon as possible. Sounds like a bait and switch to me. Get you in the door...hijack you as soon as possible. Im very disappointed. Hopefully I wont get rat/mice issues as mentioned in some of the other reviews about this property!I modified this post from 1 star to 3. The staff there always seemed friendly, but I just dont like the corporate policies. Ended up moving out because the prices just kept going up and up.

ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE. Want to be held hostage? Use CubeSmart! We pulled in with a huge moving truck full of our stuff, and the cube we had rented earlier that day still had its lock on it, and the office had closed. We had to wait an hour for someone to come unlock it, when it was supposed to be left unlocked for us. Then the gates closed for the night and the manager was supposed to give us a temporary code to exit, but didn’t, so after moving our stuff for over 2 hours, we had to wait over 30 minutes sitting in our car at the gate for them to let us out. One star rating does not do justice to how disappointed and angry I am with the horrible experience they caused. As if moving is not stressful enough as it is!

Shelli was incredibly helpful and friendly in getting us set up. Seems like a very well run place.

If I could give negative stars, I would. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere. They have a rat problem that they will deny, while using poison pellets that obviously do not work, as they will end up in your furniture and boxes mixed with rat poop. When they finally stop denying it in the face of physical evidence, they will refuse to talk to you, let alone to come up with a solution to the problem. Even if that solution is as simple as, replace our brand new sleep number that is now ruined and we will deal with replacing the rest of our property, which is also now ruined. And the replies they send about we would love to talk to you about your experience make me scoff out loud. They dont want to hear it and will roll their eyes at you as you talk to them. Great customer service tactic, by the way.

Horrible experience. Rat & mice infested! Our family rented a climate controlled unit for three months and when we came to empty the unit every surface was covered in rat & mice droppings. Every box, appliance, bookshelf and mattress had mice feces no matter how high it was stacked. The manager Bryce even came to see it and took photos. We had to trash a ton of stuff and our kids beds. We stored no food, frigs or edible items to make sure this would not happen. Avoid this place at all costs.
