I am happy I found this shop to work on my Pontiac Solstice. I know it wasnt an easy repair job and it took a bit longer than either of us were anticipating. But, the customer care they showed was exceptional. From sticking to the original quoted price, to keeping me informed along the way and even providing a temporary vehicle for my use - it all demonstrated the care they have for their customers. And the Service Techs did a great job on the repair/replacement of a difficult-to-reach water pump

UpdateContacted owner and wow recieved 100% refund. Everyplace cant be 100% on all the time. They did the right thing, never seen a business stand up like this. For that single action went from 1 to 5 stars. Good job everybody.Took car in with unknown noise problem shop worked on it didnt fix the problem and had to pay over 1k. Then a few weeks later found out had they just visually inspected the different possible causes would have seen where the problem was. Wont be going back there again.

I have been taking my Honda Fit to Desert Car Care for several years and have always had a positive experience. This week they were amazing. My Fit was having intermittent issues starting. I took it in. They kept the vehicle for over a day to try to replicate the problem to diagnose it. They determined that it was the battery and told me that I could have AAA come on sight to replace the battery since the battery was still under warranty for AAA. Also they did not charge me anything for the diagnostic and a rental car. I am very impressed with their honesty and excellent customer service and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy mechanic.

It only takes one or maybe a few bad experiences to make you suspicious when having car repairs done. Desert Car Care Chandler was different. The staff was outgoing and genuinely nice. They could have easily told me it was the alternator but didnt, and they replaced my battery for a comparable and competitive price. They got me up and running on a Friday afternoon and I was able to start my new job on Monday morning with no worries. I would definitely recommend them and will absolutely go back for my truck maintenance.

Became my home shop on my first visit there. Always willing to accommodate me, and the well priced rentals they provide are a huge convenience. Nice streamlined website to get updates on the service, and they keep a file on my car to keep track with what it needs done. Suzie is a real sweetheart and Frank is cool as well.Overall a dependable shop that I’m definitely gonna stick with as long as I’m in the area.Anecdote: I had another shop tell me I’d need to get a new compressor and possibly replace the full AC assembly. Desert car care found that it was just a leaky line and saved me hundreds of dollars in unnecessary repairs.

My car had died and I needed an oil change and my brakes checked but also an overall check on my car. When they found out I recently had a birthday, my oil change was free and I paid for a very thorough diagnostic and a new battery. I knew I had a few things that needed maintenance but they did not force unnecessary repairs on me as I had mentioned I could not afford a lot. Great place!! Will go back again for sure!! I always felt that I need to study and do my homework to get any sort of service such as gardning, pool, home fix, etc..Well this place, I do not need to do that.The Pros are sitting right at the front desk guiding you through and explain what should be done why.They are concise, clear, and fast(I really value the hustle+++) at doing it too.So, I found my car place, one less thing to worry about.

I just moved to AZ and was needing a place to take my SUV for service. I was really looking for a local business and not a National Chain; I called and made an appointment since it was so close to my work.Very the very moment I arrived, I was welcomed like I had been their only customer. They took my information and promptly called Lyft to take me back to work, which they paid for.I was kept apprised of the progress on my vehicle with a link they provided. When the oil change was completed and a inspection of the vehicle, they sent another link with everything from the inspection.Not once did they pressure me to have work done, they explained the findings and let me make my own decision.They had Lyft come pick me up and bring me back to the shop, where once again, I was greeted like an old friend.This place is absolutely amazing and very reasonable on their service, I will definitely be going back, they gave a permanent customer

Absolutely amazing service!Not the cheapest. But they dont try to be.Came in for an oil change and came out with a full inspection report and even got a ride back home!To be honest, I dont know if thats industry standard. I really wanted to like this place. The staff is extremely nice, but the results of what I’m paying for is what I care about. I’ve been here multiple times before for oil changes, until eventually I needed my brakes and rotors completely replaced. As any person would be nervous getting major work done on their car, I thought that it would all end up being fine when it was finished. I’ve now been back 2 separate times after the work was completed for the same squeaking coming back that I originally went in for. The second time I went in I was straight up told the guys in the back don’t give their full attention sometimes. Less than 3 months after I have my brakes COMPLETELY replaced here, they’re squeaking just as bad. Brand new brakes are not supposed to sound like 2 year old brakes. Needless to say I’m very disappointed and now short over $1400 dollars. I would’ve much rather paid another shop the same amount or even more to have the job done right.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS AUTO SHOP!!!I Finally found a reliable/dependable mechanic shop! I originally came in to get my alternator replaced, and get a A/C recharge. Not only did this place do a 4/5 star job prior. I returned shortly after, because I found it unusual that my new...er headlight was completely dead, some other electrical issues, and unfortunately some white residue from their swamp cooler ended up on my driver seat.So, the owner/co-owner Suzie decides to treat me to their vacation rental car while they resolve the previous concerns... which so happens to be a 21 Dodge Challenger R/T! They can keep my car, I found my replacement... lol kidding.This has definitely been the highlight of my month! So appreciate to have found some honest people in this valley!

I found this place through a google search and chose them because of all their glowing reviews and they did not disappoint. They provide a link that gives live updates on the requested service and when the service is complete you receive a report summarizing other areas of concern. They briefly explain the work completed and then address any questions you present from the report, instead of being coaxed into scheduling additional appointments for your vehicle at pick up. They provide high quality work and the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. This is the friendliest and most honest repair shop I’ve ever visited and I’m definitely going to them for all future repairs.

Everyone here was very friendly and helpful. I had problems with my brakes and they were able to get me in right away and work my vehicle into their busy day. They were able to get the problem diagnosed and fixed the same day. The brakes work great now. I really appreciated the great communication. I was frequently updated on the status and condition of my vehicle. I was also impressed that they provided transportation if needed and I did take advantage of this service to get back to the shop to pick up my vehicle. They also did a full inspection of my vehicle and pointed out some other issues that I didn’t know about, but they did not pressure me to get these other things fixed. They just provided me with a thorough report, so I can take care of the issues when I have the time and money. Overall, I am extremely happy with the service and I recommend them highly.

I was traveling from TX to CA pulling a 32 Gooseneck flatbed trailer to help my handicap father move from CA to TX when my F350 DPF filter clogged. I got the dreadful Red Screen message Exhaust Filter Over Limit, Service Now. All you non deleted Diesel owners know this screen. You dont want to see this pop up ever.Anyways, I pulled into a Loves truck stop and thought maybe I could see if their mechanic could use their laptop to force my truck into a manual regen to clear the DPF filter and burn out the build up. Unfortunately, that didnt work, the mechanics setup only worked on the big rigs. Super nice guy who tried his darndest to help me. When he couldnt help me out he recommended I call Desert Car Care.So, I called Desert Car Care and talked to Suzy. It was 4pm and I asked her if they could take a look at my truck before they closed. She put holds and then let talk to Chris (I hope I got his name right, he was one of their master mechanics) so I could tell him the codes my truck had thrown and describe the situation I was in. Chris told me to bring by the truck by and he said he could fix the problem. He had a really good idea what was wrong and he said he could get the parts the next day from the surrounding area to get my truck back up and running.So at this point I realized I was not making it any farther that day and had to start to figure out where I could park my F350 Crew Cab with my 32 Gooseneck trailer. Thats where Suzy came to my rescue. She told me there was a hotel across the street from their shop. She texted me the name and phone number so I could call and make a reservation while having time to stop by the shop to let Chris take a look at my truck before they closed for the day.Next day I had my truck at the shop at 7am so they start working on it. The owner, Frank, spent time with me as well. He shared with me that he was going to jump in the shop and help out to allow his guys to work on my truck that morning so he would not jeopardize his current customer commitments. This what you call going above and beyond to ensure you are providing the best customer service to your clients.They got the parts shipped in from around the metro area, repair done, regen completed and test drove my truck by 3pm. I was able to get back on the road by 4pm and continue my journey to move my father from CA.You dont find shops like this in many metro areas, but when you do you will certainly be back because youll know when they tell you something that its the truth and they will stand behind their work while focusing on only offering the necessary repairs required to get you back on the road.I only wish Desert Car Care had a branch in Fort Worth, TX. If they did, I would be a customer for life. You Chandler folks have a great autoshop resource in your area.If I break down again in the Chandler area on any of my hauls Im for sure driving to their shop or Im having my F350 towed to their shop for repairs.Many thanks Frank and Suzy! EDIT: Well unfortunately it appears that I jumped the gun with my review.Recently I called and spoke with Susie and asked if I could get an estimate for maintenance that would be coming due and in my experience was an expensive endeavor. I am not in a position to just whip out $1000 without some budgeting. She agreed and asked if she could call me back with that to which I agreed. Long story short, after more than a month and several calls by me to her and many excuses as to why she didn’t have it yet from computer problems to being busy I never got that estimate. I texted and said that I felt as though I’d been blown off and would likely go elsewhere and got zero response. The moral of the story? If it seems to good to be true it probably is.Susie, Frank and Mark are amazing people. Very friendly and super helpful from start to finish. Absolutely don’t feel like we were over charged. When we dropped the car off for service Susie welcomed us to the family and we truly feel as though we’ve been treated like family. We look forward to a long relationship!!

I took my son Adams Jeep here at Desert Car Care of Chandler to see why his A/C suddenly stopped working. They found the problem, fixed it and returned his vehicle cleaner than what it was given to them within only a couple of hours and it hardly cost a thing. I was expecting a bill of at least $1200. ($1200 minimun Per Joes auto shop quote If not more). Ha.. not even close. Ill just say the final bill was LESS than the average monthly electric bill... and mine pretty low. They offered to get me a ride if i needed one to and from their shop. No one does that. Theres guys really take amazing care of their customers... and did i say theyre HONEST! My gosh i cannot express enough how greatful my son is as well as myself to Desert Car Care of Chandler! You guys truly are wonderful! I absolutely loved the friendliness of everyone there, and they offer an honest and full service. I had them do an overall inspection and oil change, and they let me know there are quite a few things that need to be done simply because I’ve never done them and I’ve owned the car for...about 6 years now. They didn’t push any further appointments and let me know which services would cost more and need planning, and since I’m car-illiterate they explained what would occur without repairs eventually. They also provide photos of their inspection to show you what needs repair, which I think is excellent because in my experience I’ve just had someone give me a sheet of paper and a list of everything that needs to be done but nothing I could see or visualize. I also wouldn’t know what to look for to verify, so I think the fact that they cover all of this with you is great. Now I know what to get done so I can give my car a longer lifespan, and the good news they said overall my car is in good condition so it’s nice knowing it’s not on the verge of breaking down and I need to spend a large lump sum of money all at once. Now I can plan and space out these repairs on my own time instead of breaking the bank and stressing myself out. Thanks to their wonderful service I will definitely be back hopefully sooner than later!

Great service everytime we stop into this company. Their hard work shows through to the care their technicians take with our cars and the detail that gets put into the digital inspection reports they send you! Very little paper being used and you can look back at it from your phone! I really appreciate the complimentary shuttle service they have, as well as the Coffee and water station. Reasonable prices on their services is the icing on the cake really.

This is the best auto care you could ask for. I needed my air conditioner fixed. They go above and beyond to make sure you and your vehicle are taken care of! It works like new, and I didn’t have to pay an arm and a leg for it. They also paid for a LYFT to commute to and from work while my car was in the shop! Took my 2014 Camry in for full synthetic oil change and complete digital inspection. As a first-time customer, I was immediately impressed with the friendliness and expertise of the office staff. I felt like I had known them for years, and almost like family. The inspection report was thorough and detailed and clearly stated, and serves as a very useful history. A few years ago, I was introduced to them because they were giving free oil changes to teachers. I’ve kept my business with them because they are honest and I have never felt that they tell me I need something that I don’t. They are beyond friendly and I’ve really enjoyed everyone there. The free shuttle (Lyft) to work was amazing and so helpful when scheduling an appointment. I’ve referred several people to them and they’ve all had a wonderful experience, as well.

Took vehicle in for regular service plus a few things that were required per mileage. Always have excellent service at Desert Car Care for the past 7 years. Office staff is friendly and understands everything that needs to be done and texts as progress is moving along. They have us as a client for life!!

Had an issue where my car was throttling and not performing properly with a check engine light on back in December. I called and got in very quickly even with their busy schedule. I was given an Lyft both back home and back to the shop when the work was completed later that day. Very professional and easy to work with and would recommend to someone who needed work done on their vehicle. Alot of the updates were done through texting too (as preferred) so I could still get my information as needed without having to drop my work calls to be notified. Great experience all together

I like a shop that every time you walk in the owner is there and I have never been in when Frank isnt there. Most important I like a shop that employs quality mechanics that are going to do work correctly with quality parts. I think this shop has a good standard for the work they do and they stand behind it with warranties.Price wise you will pay less than a dealership but get a better quality repair and great service. You could find cheaper shops but you are risking a repair that is done poorlybpoorly an under-qualified mechanic.Finally, they have a great system to communicate. You always know what needs to be done and when it will be done.

I brought my vehicle in for some engine problems and some other minor issues and the work that was done was incredible. My car has never run stronger and it feels like I have 50 more horsepower. Even more impressive than the work itself, after a slight error in communication concerning the invoice the owner himself reached out to me personally and made things right in a way I would never have expected. High quality work from honest people. Desert Care Care of Chandler has earned a lifelong customer and I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone.

Frank and Susie kept me up to date about my cars AC repair and were apologetic when it took longer than anticipated. The repair itself has been great and its so nice having a working AC again.

Being new to Phoenix, AZ I brought my classic 1970 Plymouth GTX to Desert Care because of all the positive rating I have read online. It’s a 38 mile ride for me. After speaking with Frank, Suzie and the staff I felt very comfortable and confident with having them do the repairs. They kept me up to date daily via there text app. Their professionalism, courtesy and knowledge has made me a customer of Desert Car Care going forward.

This was my first visit and I am very satisfied with the service. I am also impressed with the initial message they send to advise you what all they feel is needed and/or required. I had a great experience working with Frank, who is very thorough and both he and Suzie are very friendly and easy to work with.

I really enjoyed their service. I was looking for a good place to help me settle my mind on whether it would be better to pay for car repairs or to trade-in my 2012 Ford Fiesta for a different car at the dealership. Although, I did not realize they were going to charge me $75.00 for an inspection, I was very satisfied for the inspection they performed. During the inspection, they offered a lyft ride back to my place (I work from home) and even offered car rental for the time it would have taken to fix my car. When they were done with the inspection, I was given a list of items that needed repairs or replacement. The list consisted of pictures of my parts of my car, alongside video explanations of why some of the things needed to be changed or fixed. Ultimately, I decided to trade-in my car as it was, instead of paying for the repairs.
