Bad customer service. Bought a battery 6 months ago from them, my vehicle would not start. Brought the battery to them, they tested the battery and said it was bad. I was told if I wanted it to be replaced under warranty I would have to wait 6 hours. Most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard and they were not willing to help in any way. I will never buy a battery from batteries plus again. I will be contacting corporate, thanks guys!

Very poor customer service!! I went in tonight 09/01/21 to get my battery tested that I purchased a year ago. It read low and Nick advised me I needed a new one. When I told him it was under warranty from another state he couldn’t find me in the computer. I asked if he could call the store I purchased it from and he said “it wouldn’t make any difference. The warranty wouldn’t be any good, because it was a different franchise owner.” I called the store I purchased the battery from and they said the warranty should be good at any Batteries Plus Bulbs store. He emailed me a proof of purchase with the warranty stating I was covered until 2024. I went back in to show Nick and he was able to find my purchase, but he said”the battery was out of stock at all the stores in the area and I was just outta luck.” I will be contacting corporate to get this matter resolved as well as filing a complaint with the BBB.

This review is really for my daughter. The glass was already broken on her hand me down iPhone XR and saved up enough money to get the glass replaced at batteries plus. Mistake number one. We should have went with apple for the repair. Needless to say the tolerance of the third party glass was way too tight a fit for the phone and the lcd screen cracked within 2 weeks from the heat. The manager was so rude when asked questions about the glass and said there was no way it was manufacturer/workmanship error. After saving up 160 for the replacement my daughter was devastated and knew she didn’t mistreat her new phone repair. Needless to say he wouldn’t cover it under warranty and wanted another 160 for whole new repair. Well this time daddy paid for the repair! And guess what!? The screen isn’t fully seated in the bevel! Because the third party glass is TOO TIGHT!!! I will update when I take it back in.

So. A bit pricey. However, factor in a 60 month replacement warranty plus a 10% military/veteran discount, plus free installation..... Im a happy customer with my new x2 battery.

Idk who the girl is with the red hair but I low key ❤ her ... I told her the Batteries Plus on McClintock changed my fob key battery x3s this year and charged me every time. She said the work comes with a warranty, which I didnt know bc the other Batteries Plus kept charging me. She swapped me out for free since i was already charged x3s and added the warranty. Shes a real one. Good honest employee. I live close to the McClintock one, but Im always going to drive out to this one solely bc of her service. Shes awesome!

Bought a battery for my Honda key faub. Its wasnt the battery, but the faub is bad. No offer of a refund on the $10 battery I didnt need. The associate, new I didnt need the battery, but didnt offer a refund. You might go somewhere else, where they offer true customer service.

Amazing service!! Went to Elliot & Dobson store, sales guy Nick helped me with a new car battery and its install (which is free!). Nick is old enough to be retired, but works at the store, the youngsters in there could learn a lot from Nick, he is all that you would want in customer service! Knew the products inside & out, knew which were the best quality batteries, best warranty options, and most importantly pointed out to me not only the online discount, but also a $30 rebate that I had no clue about. Battery install was quick & efficient although the battery is a pain & difficult to get to in the Volvo. Very happy all around and will absolutely be going back to this store for my battery needs, hopefully Nick is still around to help me out again!

Great place for replacing batteries. Have used for years, most with lifetime guarantee, even had to use it once. No issues. Just hot new car fob battery. Would have taken over an hour at dealer, in and out in 13 min at batteries +. ( line if 3 with 2 attending). Highest respect for them.

They have good customer service. We went to the one on elliot and Dobson. They didnt have the battery but the santan village store 15 miles away. And they had it! Old Uniden phone battery. Great customer service. Battery was about 21 dollars. Not too bad.

I took 2 items for new batteries for a neighbor. Very high prices. Very few non toxic long life lithium choices.They do not stock thex12v starter battery for my Chevy Spark EV. For myself Ill buy my batteries and other stores and put them in myself at half the cost.

I had my key fob programmed and emergency entry key cut by Brian. He did an excellent job, took about 15 minutes (for my vehicle and Im sure it varies on each vehicle) and the price is less than the dealership. Definitely would recommend and will be back if I need to have another key fob programmed and or emergency entry key cut. Thanks again Brian!

Truck HAD to have a new battery, so Nick tested it and offered a few suggestions that didnt require purchasing a new one but we decided it was due for replacement anyway, so...He covered the options including the newer glass units and was thorough with the warranty options. We even got a 10% discount on it. He even took the trouble to remove the old one and dispose of it as well as doing everything necessary to get the new (physically larger) battery properly installed.Overall, couldnt ask for better service.

Called ahead to see if they could program a key fob. Gave them all the details of make model and year. Everything sounded good so I drove out the next day only to be told they dont do cars that new. Just had this older employee Gray hair and a beard treat me terrible! Wanted to argue with me about a $125 battery that I got 2 weeks ago with a 2 year warranty and it was bad. Finally said on the phone Fine will do a warranty with you and then will be done with you and when I walked in the store the young kid found the battery and then the old guy came up and he said oh yeah that’s the one just hand it with them and we are done with him. So rude!!!

The story literally has every battery I could ever think of. I had a nice quick stop with a knowledgeable salesperson so I was in and out in no time. Its very convenient and the prices are pretty reasonable.

Because of the senior citizen gentleman you have working in this store, I think his name is Nick. The first time I ever went he was rude and not helpful, the second time he was rude and not helpful again. He has an attitude, hes short with me and each time acted like I was inconveniencing him by coming in. I will not return to this store, Ive already called your customer service line to notify them with details of my complaint.

Over the years I have had good success with this Batteries Plus location. I recently had to purchase a new battery for my truck. I reached out to the store and determined that they had the brand/model battery I wanted in stock. I drove over, completed the transaction quickly and easily, and they volunteered to install the battery for me. All in all a very good transaction!

Car battery went dead on a Sunday morning which left me stranded. Auto dealers couldn’t get me in until Tuesday at the earliest. Found Batteries Plus on line, they had a battery with free installation and a lot cheaper than the auto dealers. Good service and pleasant personnel.

When into find out why my lock button on my car remote was not working and the employee that helped was very knowledgeable also showed me the issue didnt just correct it or say I needed another remote.

Dont take your phone here for repair. Took my note 8 in for a new screen. They didnt assemble it properly and the S pen kept falling out. The glass wasnt replaced right and cracked when I sat the phone down on a counter. Of course no warranty on glass, even though there was no point of impact. Basically they told me they dont get reimbursed for defective glass so they dont cover it.

Sell garbage! Then when you bring back the garbage two weeks later for a warranty replacement, they want to argue with the customer! Dont even know what a 12 v battery is supposed to read fully charged! Then when you tell them, they say they dont have the authority to replace your battery! I have had my battery checked at three different places, and they all tell me the battery is bad. Spent lots of money on garbage and they refuse to replace. I have heard nothing good about this business over the last couple of weeks!! I would recommend not spending a dime on batteries plus garbage!! You will have nothing but problems if you do!! The whole staff is incompetent!!

The Casa Grande Batteries-plus crew have the interesting notion that making a warranty claim should be as painful as possible for the customer. They blame their behavior on the corporate rules, or the manufacturer for the lies they tell and the inconvenience due to their misdirection and distain. I wish for a more negative rating than 1 star so that I could apply it to them. I have now traveled for more than 6 hours on 4 occasions to this store without a resolution to my warranty claim. I purchased the very best battery available because my vehicle is critical to my work and life, yet three patient months later I have been forced to purchase a new $309 dollar battery while waiting for testing and acknowledgement of the promised warranty conditions. Most egregious, beyond the smug and uncaring attitude of the employees, is that they tell me to come back the next day to get the results of testing, yet when I come back they tell me that they have not yet tested the battery. Also that if the battery tested as bad I would need to travel to another store, significantly further from home, to implement the warranty.The final insult to my intelligence occurred today as they explained that thru some magic electrical process that they would probably recondition the battery anyway and return it to me so that I could use it for another few months before it failed again out of warranty.Why would I ever by another product from a company behaving like this?

Used to be helpful and pleasant. Have rechargeable battery that has been rebuilt at this location (even have the receipt) and kept insisting they dont do that here. Try another store before coming here!

The manager was an extremely friendly helpful guy and the employees seemed to be knowledgable. The only reason I give it a 3 star is because when we dropped off my Iphone 7+ which had the back shattered and not working. They said it should just take a couple days or so to see if they can even repair it all or just back it up. After 2 weeks, I finally called to check the status because we had not heard any information. Unfortunately they couldnt repair it for an understandable reasons but they shouldve informed us it was ready for pickup so we couldve had it repaired someone else if plausible.

I was in Phoenix for an industry conference. My cell phone battery died. I spent 2 hours waiting at Apple store and they did not have part. My wife advised me that Batteries Plus sells and installs replacement batteries. I called the closest store in Chandler and spoke with Rick. He is their Commercial Account director but he took care of my small account problem. Rick was fantastic to deal with!! He was ultra-professional and very personal. He took care of my battery replacement in less than 10 minutes and saved me over $20 and 3-4 hours of goofing around with Apple the next day. Thank you, Rick!! You Rock!

Very positive - what I ordered on web came in fast, they notified me promptly and even helped install the new battery along with some helpful hints on maintaining battery life. Ive used them for things other than cell phone batteries and been satisfied as well.

The lines are usually long for me. However, the staff is knowledgeable and willing to help find that obscure battery u need. Tons of different led bulbs too. Love the little gadgets and trinkets they sell.

Total rip off. Came in for 4 CR123 batteries and the cheapest one they had was $10 for 1 battery... you can buy 6 at frys electronics for $12 or 12 online for $20. Ill never be back and recommend you shop other stores before coming here. Customer service was fine but prices are why Im giving a 1 star.

I walk in to purchase an extra key fob for our 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan Sunday Feburary 11, 2019 at about 10:30 am. The guy at the counter sends me away and tells me to come back during the week.What kind of customer service is that? I go to work before they open and come home after they are closed Monday through Friday. When exactly am I supposed to come back during the week. Maybe this employee wants to review my work schedule and tell my boss to make time for this.I searched on line and have already found the same item for significantly less. I try to support brick and mortar buisnesses as much as I can. I am willing to pay more to give a guy a job. Obviously, this guy isnt worried if his job disappears.In the age of the internet, you no longer pay for items at stores. Anything a store near you sells is just a few days and a few clicks away, at a much better price. What you pay for at stores is convenience and customer service. If a store loses both, what use is it? Someone needs to explain this to the employees in this store.
