Buy your tile there if you patient but do not contract out installation services. Tanners installation crews are unvetted, whoever they can get off the street to do the work, do not follow best practices for installation, and do not expect the unnamed Tanner Materials GC/Supervisor to ever visit the site after initial quote, controlling quality and subs...that is you job.

This place had tones of options! I just wish it was better organized. We were trying to find several of the same tiles but in different colors and we had to look in a few different places. But other then that this place has tones of choices. From backsplashes to carpet tile laminate to counter tops and pavers. Enjoy!

I cant say enough good things about Tanner Materials. They installed title flooring across my entire home and replaced my kitchen countertops. They completed a huge job in record time before my family came in town. 10/10 would recommend.

Im remodeling my kitchen and they were recommended to me by my contractor. I was there looking for quartz and found what I needed. They have alot of things to select from.

BEWARE!!! I cannot stress enough to stay away from these people. Very disappointed! I purchased my own materials for a bathroom remodel so I just needed someone to install tile, cabinets, countertops and hired Tanner-Phoenix. They don’t protect your floors; so I had to do that on my own. They didn’t protect my brand new tub either and the tile guy chipped it in 3 or 4 places that Tanner had to fix. They split the wood on a brand new cabinet when installing the countertop. They sent one tile guy out who doesn’t speak any English. Despite my couple of requests, they sent no one out to inspect the work. I complained about the finished work - uneven tiles, uneven grout lines, jagged cuts. It was decided by the new Tanner-Chandler team that they will tear it all out the next day and start over! My designer had to get her Arizona Tile guy on the phone with the Chandler salesman to try to explain to him that you should have a glass cutting blade to properly cut glass tile! He took offense to that and cursed and said because my walls aren’t even, my choice of product is hard to cut and my tub not being installed properly that maybe my job isn’t the job for them. He gave me the options that I could take what I get from them or be issued a full refund. Refund please … that I had to get on my own through my credit card company because no one reached out to me. I still have to replace the flooring and backsplash someday because thats a mess too. Meanwhile, I was still down to the studs and had to have my one and only bathroom back ASAP. I was referred to someone at Arizona Tile. He is great at his job and I now have a beautiful bathroom! He didn’t complain about crooked walls, my choice of product or improperly fitting tub.

A wonderful experience working with Al at Tanner Materials. He is very knowledgeable and helpful about all materials and design (we did countertops and backsplash). The fabricator for our countertops was helpful in deciding which type of shape to do and was VERY FAST!!! Both Al and our fabricator were great in their suggestions and using their expertise in helping us to make the best decision. Pricing was very reasonable. Will return for my next project and I highly recommend.

Store seems to have a great selection, but the customer service could have been better. No one seemed to care that I entered the show room. Prices were not displayed anywhere so I had to ask someone, but that meant I had to wait until someone even noticed. I think thats a bit weird that I was standing in front of the desk where everyone was sitting and no one even bothered to help until I asked them. What did they think I was doing standing in front of them? Anyway, Im not going to give a worse rating because I didnt actually get any work done by them so I cant give an accurate review regarding that, but I can say that my initial experience wasnt the best considering that they didnt seem very interested in selling me anything in the first place.

These guys are awesome, so nice, so helpful, and huge selection.Love they are family owned business that have been around forever.😊

Great prices on tile and Harold and Daniel are awesome to work with.

Visited Tanner Materials and picked out product to have the 3 bathroom counter tops up dated. Once decided, Bryce Fellas, who I believe is related to ownership of Tanners, visited and measured. A quote was provided by Bryce and $1,500 down payment was paid. Another employee then came out to measure again and advised that the first measurement was done incorrectly. I then get a quote about 40% higher than than the original quote. I called Bryce to voiced my frustration and Bryce hung up on me. I am thankful this happened, I can now find a reputable company and get my work done. Al Fellas needs to keep this guy away from customers.

Tanner Materials has done various jobs for me over the years from tile, wood plank and carpet to cabinets/knobs. Every job has been done on time and well. I noticed other reviewers mentioned the wrong material being installed numerous times - I tend to review my material before it is installed and pay attention to the work being done so I have never encountered this in dealing with Tanner, but I suggest that of any homeowner do that no matter what company you may use. Tanners selection is great and the prices are competitive. All of the materials they have installed for me have been quality and have lasted the test of time. I will not hesitate to use Tanner again in the future!

We had Harold at Tanner Materials Company come out and measure our bedrooms & stairs. He was very professional and polite. A week later his floor guys came out and installed our new laminate wood floors. They took a lot of pride in their job and made sure that we liked the floors. Everyday before they left they did a super job cleaning up. It was like they were never there. I would recommend this company for there pricing, work ethic and above all, their professionalism.

I have had Tanner Materials install Tile, Carpet and Travertine in several properties and they have always done a great job. Recently, I had a problem with a shower they had tiled years ago. Mike said the problem was on them and they fixed it without charging me. Like every good contractor out there, they are busy but they do a good job and they stand by their work.

Please reconsider doing business with Tanner. We dealt with some extremely poor service to the point of cancellation of our order. The rep was difficult and more focused on being “right” than on getting our business. He failed to communicate and told us we were the problem. Instead of smoothing things over, he insisted on being “right” and told us to take our business elsewhere. We were happy to cancel the order and he was happy to lose a customer and be “right”.

We recently moved to the area and went to Tanner based upon reviews we saw online. The reviews were spot on! Tanner came in thousands under the other bidders to replace all of the flooring and countertops in our home. They completed the project early and professionally. They went out of their way to make everything right and addressed every issue we had promptly. We trusted them with our newly purchased home and worked with them from across the country before our move, and I’m so glad we did. Harold was our main point of contact and he was awesome!!

Good selection but terrible customer service. We went in after purchasing our engineered flooring from Tanner to order the transition boards to cover the gap from tile to wood. We didnt know what these boards were called and asked Alex. He asked us if it was threshold. We went with his judgement only to find out it was wrong. The boards came in and they will not work and he wont allow us to return them because theyre special order. Yes, ordered at what we thought was your expert advice. I would not recommend using them. Most places will order and price match so I will go elsewhere for our next project.

I ordered material from Tanner Tile some really nice wood stamped tile that I picked out to match the rest of my Kitchen. I never write reviews but I have to for other customers to know what their getting into. The guys at the store sent out their installation crew which did the job so quick they for got to clean off the grout on my walls and hallway cabinets. They also left a dump load of tile scraps and junk in my garage that my husband had to clean up. The kitchen has a huge hump where the tile is almost 4 inches higher than in the dinning room. The tiles are so unlevel we can stub or feet on it. We called to get help and find a way to get the issues taken care of and 1 year later they came out. They said thats the way the floor is and then gave me some ridiculous price on installing a 10x15 bedroom. I feel like I have hired a company that just took my money and I didnt get what I wanted. Hope that helps the next person who orders. -side note (they also said our tile would be gaurenteed to reorder for a few years and then they said the tile is no longer the same and It will be slightly different.) Bottom line is I own a business and I would get lectured from a very pissed off customer if I did business like this.

Do not even waste your time with this company, showing up 40 minutes late for a scheduled estimate appointment, without calling or bothering to let a customer know they were sending a different sales guy is anything but customer service. How could you trust them to do work in your home if they cannot even make an estimating appointment. I get it, like most contractors, they are busy. Once the downturn comes, this company needs to go under.

I had Tanner Materials to redo my kitchen. When they brought the new counters the edge was not Full Bullnose I had ordered so they took them back to redo. The one that was installing the back splash was almost done when they pulled him and sent him to another job.He came back later that week to finish. When asked about a plumber I was told they had a plumber they used or I could use someone else. I said if they had a plumber that they used regularly that was alright with me. He installed the faucets and hooked up the sink and R O System. The next day I had a leak so he came back and repaired it and left. The next morning another leak....after reaching him on the phone he said he could not come till a day and a half later. Needless to say I could not be without water that long so I called a company that I had used and they came out and repaired it. The issue was that the R O system was hooked up with no seal so it had not been installed correctly and putty was used on the first repair which was useless since no seal was ever used. Tanner did lower my balance a bit but not what my additional cost was. I was told I will talk to him. My answer was if he didnt know how to hook up an R O system he should not have done the job!

Tanner had a discontinued tile for a house we moved in last year. Salesman was professional and followed up with us immediately. So many selections at reasonable pricing. I definitely recommend to stop by and check place out!

Great selection of granite. Very helpful in choosing the colors that would work for my house.

BEWARE! Their fabricator doesnt consistently cut undermount holes. Their installers used painter caulk to seal the underrim of the undermount sinks. The installers did not use an additional support for the undermount sinks. The installers did NOT glue the granite to cabinets. The installers used painters caulk to install back splash. The installers LIED to me on more than one occassion and were disrespectful saying, do you believe everything you see on the internet. Not familiar at all with industry standards. Got to the point where couldnt believe what they were saying to me and had to QA/QC their work when attempted to correct the undermount sinks. Not even sure what they used to undermount the sinks (not silicone sealant), but you will never be able to replace a cracked or worn sink now without replacing the granite.

Used Tanner to tile house. Crew used was fast and efficient, but left grout on tile, uneven tile (which is really a big issue), and didnt do a good job re-securing closet doors. Biggest issue, and primary one, is uneven-ness of tiles. Be warned.

These guys installed the incorrect tile not once, not twice, but three times. Installed a shower without waterproof grout, think that one through. And now a year after installing our floors there are still stains from the installers that I have never been able to remove. Would never go with this company all you’ll get is frustration and disappointment after the worst home renovation of your life. More damage was done to my home than improvements, broken window screens, why they had to go through my windows I will never know, and holes in my damn wall. Workers took breaks for several hours prolonging the process for several months.

We have gone to tanner for two different te jobs (our house and rent property) they were great both times. There people were knowledgeable,friendly, and helpfull. They had a lot more options then lowes or home depot and much better prices.
