Last year, they had the best price for my car battery and it came with a warranty. Today, the battery has failed and I was able to get a replacement easily. The gentleman that helped me today was amazing and I will be back if the need arises.

Knowledgeable staff. Easy transaction, including reserving a battery over the phone, with no deposit required. Battery I needed was in stock. I was given two options: Made in the USA, or not. Same specs on the motorcycle battery I needed. Both, from Duracell. I went with the USA made, for a couple more dollars. Full disclosure, I called two other sources, first, that did not have the required battery, including a call to a dealership that sells the motorcycle I ride. The Duracell battery I picked up at Batteries + Bulbs, has about 3 percent less cold cranking amps than a factory-spec battery and 1/8 inch washers/spacers (provided, in the box) were necessary to attach my battery leads to the Duracells recessed posts. The dimensions of the battery, itself, were an exact match. Only the post-mounts were different. Biggest reason for purchase? B+B had a battery that should start my bike, and I got it the day I wanted it.

Post COVID-19 and Virginia order #65 (reopening phase 3), I stopped by, forgot my mask, the guy met me outside the door, he said I could come inside since no other customer is here. After I arrived, other customers came inside the store, I waited outside while they replaced the battery in my vehicles keyless remote. The employee that took care of me came outside to ask my name and phone number, he eventually found my account and brought a receipt to me outside of the store.Prior to COVID-19, I purchased lifetime rechargeable batteries for my vehicles keyless remote. I stopped in several times, they checked the battery in my keyless remote and they replaced the battery.

In a word? Painless. Christian repaired the phone correctly and quickly. Good job!

Talking with Christian on the phone for info made me want to try your store for my auto battery. My experience at the store was great with prompt service and attention. I had the opposite experience at the local auto parts store and will use your store for these needs in the future.

Convenience and Price. Although the 2 batteries I was most interested in werent available, I was provided with an economical alternative and it was ready when I requested it and installed without delay. This is my 2nd car that Ive bought Duracell Auto Batteries for from this store. Very happy.

Bought a bunch of bulbs for a home renovation, for multiple fixtures. I thought the staff was doing me a favor by helping me pick bulbs that would fit, that matched the character of the light fixture. What was not communicated was the 14 day return policy. After realizing most of the bulbs don’t fit... Couldn’t make it to the store due to COVID and the holidays. Now I’m stuck with a bunch of expensive bulbs, Buyer beware!

I was called 10 minutes before my appointment to have my iPad battery replaced and was told they couldn’t do it unless they sent it out and they would most likely break the screen opening it so I would have to pay for the battery and an additional screen repair. I was almost at the store when I was called, so was more than annoyed since the store is at least 20 minutes away from my home. Clearly this isn’t a battery they should be advertising that they can replace if they routinely break the screens. Needless to say, I didn’t have the service completed.

I was extremely impressed with the Chantilly location of Batteries Plus Bulbs store. The staff (Alan) was so helpful and courteous. I had purchased my new battery online the night before and was able to have it installed the next morning. The store opened at 8:00 am, and by 8:10 am Alan had installed my new battery and did a check to ensure that it was securely in place and in good working order. The product selection and especially the pricing was phenomenal. Ill never buy a battery for a vehicle any where else! EXCELLENT experience with this store & staff!

The Duracell Lawn & Garden Battery i purchased was dead. Luckily, I have a battery tender to recharge it. Otherwise, i would have returned it. Hopefully, it will hold the charge, or it will be returned for a refund and ill shop elsewhere.I gave two (2) stars because the people working there are great and I liked the idea of purchasing online and having the product ready for pick-up, but the product itself suffers.

They were incredibly helpful and friendly and had my dead battery replaced in less than 10 minutes (it was probably closer to 5) - even going so far as to hook up a separate small battery during the swap-out in order to ensure all of the user settings werent reset. They also made sure to inquire about any applicable discounts I was eligible for - and yes, they did give a military discount. These guys specialize in batteries and it shows! I will definitely use them for any future battery needs and cant recommend them highly enough!!

Definetly Not recomended..My battery is dying every 2 years and the warranty comes only for 1 year which i used to pay $94-99 and the battery dies in 2 years. I got similar battery in amazon with 1 year warranty for $34.99 even if it fails in 2 years its ok to replace instead of speding $99 every time

Two elements are required for success in a place like this: diverse stock and a person who is knowledgeable about the wide world of batteries and bulbs past and present. So a rating here is may not hold, depending on stock value, and who one encounters behind the counter. I have been there three times over the past year, for different items, where I have been disappointed on line. In all three cases, the man was reasonably knowledgeable (important: he was aware of his limits, and did not make up things), and they had the stock I needed, or, could get it in a day or two. Shopping at a place like this will be improved the more informed is the consumer, though someone who knows little should be confident of good advice, and good likelihood of coming away with the correct product. Batteries in general involve toxic chemistry, and as such, are slowly being regulated out of most places, so costs are going up. No real bargains here. If you need it, you need it.

Friendly and helpful staff. They even had the large socket bulb I needed for an antique floor lamp! Came here after Home Depot said it was a European socket and I would have to rewire the lamp. Batteries Plus employee knew exactly what I needed when I explained the lamp. Thank you guys so much!

I needed a new backup battery, and I love that Batteries Plus offers a discount when ordered online and pick up at the store. Unfortunately, I was waiting for the e-mail to let me know that the battery was ready for pick up, and it never came. I e-mailed the store via their website 3 days later, and got no response. I then decided to give them a call the next day, and discovered that is the best way to reach them. The associate who answered the phone was very helpful. He informed me that they have the battery in stock and that I should have gotten the e-mail informing me that it is ready for pick up. After waiting for 5 days, I finally got my battery. The pick up process was seamless. Alan was so friendly, helpful and informative. He said that it is possible that when the associate entered the info into their computer system that he/she accidentally clicked no, instead of yes to email me a notification. Alan took my old batteries (one I was replacing and one I replaced previously) for recycling - no cost, and finished processing the new battery pick up. I took the new battery home, and it works. Yeah! I love that this store is convenient located, and I have the option to shop online. They have so many different types of batteries. A few weeks ago, I called this store regarding replacing my cell phone batteries. Unfortunately, they dont replace the battery in my Motorola Turbo 2. It could be because it is difficult to replace. I watched the video on YouTube and it showed that the phone needs to be taken, literally, apart. Luckily, I found UBreakIFix at Fair Lakes, and they replaced the battery within an hour. Batteries Plus is the first place I go to for batteries - all sorts of batteries. I am very pleased with the service, and they have many locations. Since I have a great experience with this location, I plan on shopping at this location from now on.

Perfect experience. Checking out was another story. The manager replaced my car battery and tried to sync my key fob. On check out the registers were acting up and it approved the transaction but disappeared.The manager called a head manager and my bank said it was pending sothe transaction should go through and when they get the receipt will email me. All in all it was a great experience except for the check out.
