Their website states that they offer transmission rebuild but when I called they stated that they do not. Dont list services on your website that you do not offer. It is a waste of everyones time.

I got my car looked at here because my ranger was making a weird noise. They looked at it and told me it would be 3000 to replace my engine in my 2006 Ford Ranger. I when to another mechanic and they told me it was my spark plugs and ignition coil. The bill went down to 180. DONT GO HERE. I’m a 22 year old girl and they thought they could rip me off.

We were driving home from a long trip. Our alternator went out when we still had over half way to go, 8 hrs. I called and asked if there was any way they could get us in that day, thinking it may be a day or two before they could even look at it, but they said bring it on!... music to our ears! Very nice, personable people, and reasonably priced!!

This is my go to place when my car breaks down. The owner is sooo nice and the price is reasonable. They are easy to get into. Ive never had to wait more than 2 days to get my car in and most of the time i get it in same day. Love these people and they are fast and reliable.

Refused to fix or even help me fix my tire and replacement tire barring, went to a Marty’s tire and auto shop 8 mins away and they helped me out in no time and on New Years Eve.

Friendly, fast, and affordable. Completely trustworthy. I came in from out of town to have them look at a car I was about to purchase and they took great care of me.

Took my car in for overheating and a few other issues, within the next three days I had some similar issues. Brought the car back and they fixed the issue (it was a separate part from the overheating) and they fixed the car again, the second time they didn’t charge me any labor because they should have caught it the first time, I was only charged parts. The water pump caused the overheating, the overheating then subsequently fried a sensor in a different housing. Two separate issues but they were great and fast and if they keep up this quality work they have a new lifetime customer.

Honest, thorough and timely. They will go out of their way to help. I was nearly ripped off by a competitor who wanted to charge me four times what John at JP charged.

Just moved to Charleston and was looking for an affordable shop that did good work in a timely manner. I called them and they offered free diagnostic for a humming sound that my car was making that ended up being my front left bearing. Prices online which included parts and labor were around 500 give or take and they charged less than half that. They had to get the right part in but in the meantime gave me a comprable replacement for me to use over the weekend and didnt charge me anything until they had installed the exact one I needed. I will be living in Charleston for the next two years and will go here every time for my Automotive needs. Fast friendly and affordable service. 5 stars

The mechanics do very good work, Ive never had a problem with the work theyve done. But the last 2 times I went there I was overcharged several hundred dollars. I called him out on it, and he hemmed and hawed. JP actually called me back the next day, explaining to me that after he looked at my invoice again, he called the parts place and found out they overcharged him, and gave me $100 back on a part he overcharged me about $250 for. At best, the wife is cheating customers without his knowledge. At worst, hes complicit in it. Either way, its unbecoming of a shop that says they are Christians on the sign. 5 stars for the actual garage work, 1 star for the owner AND his wife, only because he can smile and talk real nice while he/they are in your pocket stealing your money

I have taken my rodeo there for several things they are very fast and friendly they will tell you if it needs repaired they wont make u repair something if it doesnt need it they r very honest.Unlike most body shops when they see a woman coming in they double the prices or tell u somethings wrong when it isnt. Jp never does that! you feel comfortable knowing who is working on your vehicle at jp! I will continue going to jp for all my repairs!;
