The Walmart Vision & Glasses at the West Ashley Walmart in Charleston is a great place for all of your vision related needs. The times that I have been here they have been very fast and efficient in their service and many times can offer very quick turnarounds in getting everything ready and back to you. The staff here is extremely knowledgeable and is able to answer any question that you throw at them and does their job very well. It is a relief to have a place that is consistent and offers quality services at a really good value.

The doctor was wonderful and answered questions better then any of my previous doctors. I recommend whole heartedly! As for the glasses part, I chose to go elsewhere after the older lady checking temperatures wouldnt let me get a word in. Very unprofessional and disrespectful to the customer. We are ALL living with the pandemic, it doesnt give anyone the right to be aggressive with customers when they are following all CDC guidelines and beyond. You would have thought I came in with no mask, coughing and about to collapse, but that wasnt the case. If you cant be polite, you shouldnt work in customer service. Everyone else was very professional and helpful!

I just visited the West Ashley vision center. My eyeglass frames had broken and I needed assistance replacing them. Nevae was extremely helpful, professional and kind. He was wonderful to work with and I couldn’t have been more pleased! He deserves some recognition!

If I could give a negative star I would. They broke my grandmothers heirloom glasses and offered no apologies and said it was my fault for bringing in old frames. They never informed me of the risk of them breaking or i wouldn’t have gotten them filled in the first place. They offered to give me a new pair but no refund and on top of that my dead grandmothers glasses are ruined

I had great customer service from start to finish.

Terrible service. They only have one chair for people to sit together in. Social distancing is smart; however, people that need to get their eyes dilated cannot and should not drive yet they want people to go in alone? Makes no sense.

So I’ve been a patient of this vision center for 5 years and had Dr. Allen exclusively who has had his practise at least 30 years and I’ve always left his office feeling very fortunate to have access to such a well trained, experienced, and professional doctor.But I must say that the new Coastal vision center staff is great and well organized,But that’s not surprising at all.What I find suprising is how well the new doctor, DR ERICA JURAS is every bit as knowledgeable and comforting as I found Dr. Allen to be. Change is something I seldom find to be easy, but Coastal Vision and Dr. Erica Juras made it very smooth and uncomplicated for me and I will be a Dr Juras patient for life.

My fiance had her yearly eye appointment two months ago. That went fine other then a crap charge of 25.00 for a fitting fee for the contacts she was already wearing. But that is not the issue. The issue is over the past 3 weeks we have gone in 3 different times to pick up her contacts that they ordered for her, since they did not have them in stock so this last time we went to go pick them up since they called and left her voice mails twice and two emails to come and pick her contacts up at the store. GUESS WHAT??? They sold her contacts they actullay opened her package and left her only two boxes of left eye contacts and told her that she would have to come back and pick them up when they are ordered again. They refused to send her contacts to our house. We both work full-time and live in JI so it is an extra drip all the way out their and the management refuses to step up and deal with it properly and nobody has any answers. As we say in the medical world they pass the buck around. Needless to say I will make sure that by word of mouth that none of my co-workers go there.

The doctor was very disrespectful toward my little sister who is special needs, I suggest taking your business elsewhere as this service wasn’t adequate. He’ll stop breathing our air soon enough.

One of the most rudest doctors ever. I wont recommend them. I hope their license get suspended or revoked

Awful, I took my son to the beauty department, the female manager cut my sons hair. OMG she gaped it badly
