Absolutely loved this place!! Kevin was absolutely awesome and gave the best recommendations for not only local brews to drink there but to take home as well. So happy to visit and will definitely come again next time I am in Charlotte!!!

We love this place, great location and atmosphere. New beers to try every week. And the staff is amazing.

There is always such a wide variety of beers to make the whole group happy. And if anyone in your group isn’t a beer person, there are ciders, meads, and wines available. Jared knows what he is talking about about and will never steer you wrong if you’re looking for a recommendation! I’m super picky with what I like in regard to beer, but know he has my back.

Staff here are friendly, inviting, and knowledgeable. There may be other places like this that sell craft beer but not many that do it so well. If your in the neighborhood this is definitely a good place to stop by at.

Dropped in for a quick beer while walking on my way back to my hotel room from getting brunch and was not disappointed with this pineapple IPA or with the customer service! 🙂 Looking forward to coming back here next time Im in Charlotte.

I really hate how I havent been to this place in a while... but man, this is one of the best places to go with a good group of friends. Great atmosphere. Relatively easy to carry on a conversation with your friends without distractions. Such a great and ever-changing beer menu with fantastic options that no visit is the same. Ive been there when theyve had board game nights and other times with trivia. Whether they are events going on or not, its the spot to go to if you are looking for something to do with some friends.

Had a great experience here. Jared is extremely well versed in the CLT beer scene and helpful to find you what you want based on your taste preferences. Having over 30 taps you can take in a crowler to go is impressive, but their can selection is on a whole other level. The prices were good, too. I will return on any trip to Charlotte!

I cant say enough good stuff about this place. I stop in every time I am in town. They always have a fantastic select of local beer.The staff is knowledge enough to help make solid suggestions off the menu if it is to daunting, or just hold a good conversation if the impressive beer menu is what brought you in the door.No food, but thats not an issue. Plenty of food options near by and you can bring them in. Great snack options if you dont need a whole meal, or you plan on being there for a while for one of there many event night. Like Trivia? Stop in Monday at 7PM.Honestly if you like beer, and youre in Charlotte, NC this should be on your list of stops. They wont disappoint.

This place was my go-to for beer runs until mid last year. Recently they stopped allowing you to break up 4/6 packs. Their lose can can selection is terrible in my opinion. Their 4 packs selection is decent but...you have to buy the whole lot. If you want to taste, try new beers, purchasing a variety could get expensive. With average cost (in line w market) of $20 per pack. Highest, rarest product is closer to $30+.Also, be sure to check dates on some of the beers. Ive often found older beers sitting on the shelf. Recent obvious examples- Haunted House in February, 2020 Celebration in April of 2021. IPAs look close for freshness.Nice place to have a beer inside but their selection is limited.

Whenever Im down in Charlotte I always make it a point to vist the Beer Temple. The selection of local, national and international beers is BONKERS! The staff is wonderful and friendly always willing to help you out. If your around the area stop by and have a drink or two.

As the name would suggest, it is a beer lovers delight. There are about 30 beers available on tap, and then a lot more to buy in cans and bottles.The selection is great, however I found it to be very IPA heavy.

Ive been here a few times, always an incredible selection. I was there tonight for a gift and the woman working took her time to show me a couple good suggestions. Perfect place to grab a drink.

Love this place!!! Perfect for grabbing a beer after work, hanging out on the patio on the weekend, or enjoying the live music in the evening. Great selection, always new stuff to check out. My wife is also allergic to gluten which would normally limit us going to places like this but they have a great gluten free selection! Bunch of different ciders, some seltzer’s and always wine and champagne. A low key vibe, super chill and awesome staff, fair price and lots of variety. Love it!

Great concept and location. Service was on point and helpful, as well as attentive. However, it only gets three stars because one of the ciders had already been tapped too long as was old. It could also use a little more pizzazz in its decor.

Fantastic place to grab a pint or two. Their on tap selection is always a good mix of styles and they have lots of bottles/cans you can buy to take home or drink there.

Its awesome they go out of their way to match the beer to the proper glassware. You get snacks for $1/cup!

Not bad. The bar tender was not super helpful when it came to helping me find a drink I would enjoy. The prices were also a little on the high side. I dont go to this area often but next time I may go elsewhere. I may give the Matthews location a chance because Matthews is where I grew up. I also enjoy drinking local beers and ciders. I just wish the bar tender was more helpful.

Carolina Beer Temple is a great bottle/draft shop. Very relaxed atmosphere with a huge selection of drinks both on draft and on the coolers. I always find something new to try. The staff is always helpful and nice. I go up there at least once every couple weeks. They do a ton of events and are my go to place in Ayrsley for a drink or to hang out. They allow outside food and also have some snacks you can buy. Prices are reasonable. If youre looking for a casual place to get a drink or hang out with friends this is a great option!

Nice place. Great beer selection which changes quite frequently. Everything was casual and friendly. Limited food, but that’s not really the purpose. Has board games and hosts special events at times. Much to do within walking distance. And good food options are not far away. Some outdoor seating as well. Recommended.

Always a great beer selection—something for everyone and every taste. They are stepping up their wine list and also now serve 4 beers from the sister brewery. Bartenders are nice and out in effort to have a friendly conversation and to learn your name and your likes/preferences. They are very knowledgeable and can make recommendations or will serve samples until you have found what you want. Do yourself (or your beer loving friends) a favor and take something home from their diverse can/bottle selection!

This place had a great selection of beers and knowledgeable staff to help you pick out the number of beers of tap. I liked that they also sold speciality beers to bring home. Check the monthly calendar for different promotions. I like that they had a list of restaurants you could order from and bring the food there to eat. The place had utensils and plates as well for patrons.. Great place to link up with friends or coworkers .

Been a couple of times now with some buddies for happy hour. Servers are friendly and happy hour prices are good. Huge shop and their beers are not run of the mill. Very good selection and the bartenders are knowledgable about the inventory. Great place to go if youre looking for better beer and someplace thats not a chain and wont treat you like a dollar bill.

The selection of beer is great. Always getting new choices on tap. The bottle and can options are even better. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Inside and outside seating make it a great place to hang out and enjoy new beers no matter the weather.

The staff is knowledgeable because they have actually had what they sell. More beer, wine and or liquor stores could take a lesson from these guys.P.s. State owned and operated liquor stores prevent us from having this type of culture in the whiskey scene... Were looking at you ABC.

I wish 3.5 were a rating i could give. Better than a 3, but wouldnt go as far as a 4. Anyway..knowledgeable servers and decent tap selection. Pretty good selection for take-home/canned. You can tap into the canned/bottled selection, but if you want to drink one there, expect a $1.50 per beer corkage fee. Not a fan of this. Great location. Ok atmosphere, but a bit too bright inside. Snacks for sale..no meals served, but they dont mind if you bring your own food.

Great retail beer selection and a wonderful selection of local and Belgian beers on tap. By far, the friendliest bar staff in the Charlotte area. We visit here weekly and will for the foreseeable future. Best place for a beer in Ayrsley.

A great place to go to get a growler of interesting beer! They have games available to play, music, really nice bartenders, and small snacks. You can bring in outside food or order from the places around. They have different deals and pair with the local yoga studio to do a beer and yoga deal for $5 on sundays (last I saw). Its worth a visit for sure!

This is our go-to! Fun, friendly atmosphere! Never a dull moment, never a bad beer selection, and the music is always great. The Pay-It-Forward board is a community bonus, right in line with the give-back mentality of the staff. They have specials daily and a different event almost every weekend, so stop by!

Consistent patron of the temple it is one of the better craft beer places I have found. They always have a large selection of new beers and the staff is personable.

This place has a great beer selection, though it does rotate regularly so dont get attached to one beer. Service is fast, friendly, and very knowledgeable. You should give this place a try if you like more intimate venues, with a top notch staff and products.

Excellent craft beer offerings on tap and cans, bottles and growlers also to go. Service usually very good. Saw several out of freshness dates on some can/bottle offering. Need to better manage the to go inventory to insure the buyer gets fresh beer.

I love the concept and the rotating beer menu, what I specially like about this place is that they have a 5 oz option so you can try multiple beers each visit, they also have a very wide selection of national and international beer for sale and snacks to have with the beer !

Had such an amazing experience here at CBT. Stumbled upon this gem after leaving Piedmont Social House where we had an awful customer experience. The environment here is so welcoming. Great music selection. Great staff who genuinely is excited to see their customers. They have a great beer selection on draft. They have a mini beer store and lastly offer some clutch ass $1 scoops of snacks (Cheetos, Chex mix, etc). Will definitely be back and would highly recommend it to others to try.

My favorite bottle shop and neighborhood tap room. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Has a constant rotation of local and national taps on, along with a few Belgian. Fun to grab a pizza at portofinos and bring it over.
