Visited this shop at 9 pm, they’re regularly open until 11 pm. My boyfriend walked in, got halfway to the front and only one lady acknowledged him, informing him that they closed at 9 tonight. The door was unlocked and nobody even bothered to get up and lock the door after he walked out. People, employees I assume were just watching the tv but couldn’t even bother to lock the door.

I liked the atmosphere of Vintner. Its a great place to take a date or just relax with some close friends over a glass of wine. We really came here for dinner. The food here was ok but not spectacular, and the service slow. We ended up having to fetch our own plates and napkins to eat our food. The rub for the wings was a bit bland. The Margherita pizza was ok, but missing the fresh basil that wouldve made it much better.

Extremely rude. Horrible service. Will not return and will pass along this experience to everyone I know.

Absolutely love Vintner Wine Market. They have an outstanding collection of bottles and a nice small plates menu. We got a Charcuterie board, wine, and crab dip. They were quite busy when we went, so we sat at the bar. The Charcuterie board was fantastic and one of the major reasons I will go back - you get to pick your own cheeses from a nice selection. A nice cheese menu is extremely hard to find in Charlotte, so go here if you want choices.The place is much bigger inside than it looks from the outside. It is a little hidden in the Arboretum too so the first time going is a little strange.

Was told since I wasnt drinking alcohol I was required to wear a mask while sitting with my friends that were NOT required to wear masks. This place is literally inventing its own health rules. She didnt even bother to attempt to accommodate me when I said I cant wear one. Ironically, Im pretty sure covid is gonna kill this business, and if it doesnt, it should. I was literally forced to sit in the rain with my friends. Never will return and If you enjoy managing your own health and wellness without some 20 year old trying to tell you to wear a mask in a store with exactly 2 people in it (20+ feet away from each other, sitting at tables) then I wouldnt recommend it either. Id give it 0 stars if I could. Might I add, I was not rude, crude, or crass in any way. And I was openly DISCRIMINATED against.

Great selection of beers and wines - one of the best in south Charlotte. Theyve done great work taking necessary precautions and keeping customers distanced during the pandemic. Please do your part and respect the workers by wearing a mask until you at least sit at a table.

Before COVID, a wonderful casual place to have an office happy hour surrounded with friends and others. Since COVID times, theyve been AMAZING at takeout, pickup, and just general safety overall. Stacey and Emily are so friendly and great. This is my go to for great wine.

We love this place! Reasonably priced good bottles of wine. The flatbreads are great and the hummus is delish. We prefer to sit outside but when we have had to sit inside, the tables and chairs are all well spaced.

I love this place! One of the best selections of crafts in South Charlotte. Staff is also over the top and always looking out for you and what you like. Plus as a Porter/Stout lover they have more selections at any time of year than most stores.

Are you trying to find that wine for the person you know who is really in to wine and you dont want to buy them something that will not impress them? Well you may want to stop right on in to the Vintner Wine Market. This is located in the very cool Mathews Arboretum!

Hands down, one of the best places to meet a friend. Great selection of wines and well-priced snacks. They are missing two stars because the staff isnt attentive enough to the tables -- we have dirty plates and glasses and napkins on the tables and staff are too slow to clear. Makes a difference to the experience.

Stacy kills it with the beer selection at the bar, and obviously youre going to get top notch wines here too. Aside from that the food specials on any given days are superb and the company at the bar is always friendly. A great place to cap off any work day or celebrate any event.

Best place in The Arboretum shopping center to get a good beer. The crowd is cool - lots of 40- and 50-something groups of women and guys, plus a few date night couples. When it gets crowded, like late on Thursday evenings, service can be slow. And they run out of beers they have listed on their board pretty frequently - probably because they rotate small kegs frequently by design, but it can take a few tries to order a beer sometimes.

I always love visiting and it has become a staple meetup for my friends. The beer selection is amazing so dont let the name fool you! Also, you should REALLY try their flat bread pizzas as they are surprisingly good.The menu is impressive and many folks dont know they serve food! The staff is very knowledgeable and laid back.... serious cool folks.

Check your tab carefully!Went there last night, cool little place. Got a really good Chianti off the shelf for $17.99. That was the price marked on the bottle. They also charge a $5 corkage fee. When we got the bill they charged us $19.99 for the wine. We questioned the tab and the waitress got an attitude. Conveniently the bottle was thrown in the trash before we paid out, so we had no way of proving to her that was the price marked on the bottle. I know it was only $2, but is this how they do business?

One of the best places in town to relax with a beer or glass of wine. All the selection of uptown tap houses with none of the hassle or crowds. Food is excellent, from flatbreads to sandwiches and cheese plates. 16 rotating taps, lots of coolers and even more shelf beers.Staff is excellent, many have been there for years. Always a pleasure.

Convenient location, nice wine& beer selection and food is very good. I find it on the loud side and really miss having wait staff to come take orders as the bar seems short staffed most of the time and always busy.

Very pleasant place to go have wine or beer. There are countless number of specialty beers and excellent wines to be had. I wouldnt recommend any of the meals they serve there. They are very very short on meat and very very big on carbs. Youll get plenty of bread, plenty of cheese and plenty everything, but meat. Our waitress was very personable and the crowd was also very very nice.

Just left here and will never come back. I walked around the place which is relatively small at least 3 times searching for a bottle of one of my favorite reds. Not a single person acknowledged me or offered to help. I waited for one of the workers to finish s conversation he was having as I was waiting in line to speak to him. He looked me directly in my eyes and refused to acknowledge me. Do not spend your money here

We have been going to Vintner for years and used to love it. Not so much anymore. They ended table service awhile back which is ridiculous. Standing at the bar trying to get served is for college kids! One person could serve the whole place easily. And the overhead lights are terrible. It’s way too bright. And they used to have nice wine glasses but now they use cheap ones. It goes down hill a little more each time I’m in. It could be so much more!

Beer selection is killer (makes me forget they even have wine). Food is amazing for such a small shop (get the flatbread or the hummus). I go here to grade papers and read, screw ever going to Starbucks ever again.And join the free rewards program, because I know youll be back after coming only once.

Steve was extremely rude over the phone as I was just calling to try and talk with the manager. Its sad how one employee can turn someone away from the store. I will make sure not to shop there and to let all of my friends and family know what this store is about, very disappointed.
