This store has a decent enough selection. And it presents itself as an upscale store. The prices for what we purchased were in line with other stores. One of the staff was very rude, however. We went in wearing masks, and at checkout, we were well beyond 6 feet behind the person in front of us. Yet the cashier barked an order at us out the blue to back up. Very rude.

The biggest in Mecklenburg County and tons of selection. Very large whiskey/bourbon section, big vodka section, average scotch selection. Be sure to check behind the counter and the glass cabinets as their allocated selections will be visible but gotta ask to get them.

Nice selection but my friend was rejected because it was her 21st birthday by the older lady at counter 3 on 07/31/21 night shift. Specifically. So don’t go unless youre 40 I guess. She said “I don’t know what you’re going to do with it, you’re barely 21.” Not sure if that’s active discrimination or not but she just went to another so she can actually celebrate her birthday.

Its a ABC store with nothing out of the ordinary. They also dont have ingredients youd need for mixing. I mean like not a 6 pk of soda at minimum. They did have a great selection of NC based products! Prices were good also, just not a one stop shop for all things drink wise.

Always super clean. Friendly staff. Every employee who you encounter is friendly and offers assistance. The NC selection is easy to find as soon as you walk in the door unlike some others that are mixed about and have to hunt.

It has a very wide selection of spirits. I actually enjoyed doing a full walk thru after getting my go to beverage, just to see what else they had to offer. I was very impressed to say the least. It was clean and organized. And it didnt hurt that the staff was very professional and pleasant. I would recommend this ABC location to anyone looking for vast variety of spirits and great customer service.😉😁

Even tho the line be long they move pretty fast I would give them a 5 star but they be running out of different items, idk if its because of the pandemic but good place overall.

It was a little hard to find things as they were rearranging the bottles and store layout. However, I eventually found what I needed.

Best variety I’ve seen, I’m not sure if some ABC store have more but this one seems to have a larger selection. If they don’t the placement must be better. This is my favorite store in Charlotte to date.

I would actually rate the store itself 5 stars but johnathon has terrible customer service. Called 3 times to check availability of a product and was hung up on everytime. As soon as the words got out of my mouth he hung up. The first time I thought it was a mistake so I called back and asked if we were disconnected and immediately he hung up again. Called a third time to ask if they werent allowing people to call in to ask about products and he hung up again. My wife called immediately after and he was happy to help. Again...the store is great Ive been there multiple times but johnathon has got to go.

I was double charged on Friday. I went back with my receipt Saturday. On Monday morning ABC board call to confirm transaction. By Tuesday afternoon it was refunded on my card. They very punctual and professional. I will go there any time. Thank you for the prompt response.😁😁😁

This is one of the largest ABC stores that I have been in. While I wish NC would join the roughly 33 other states that allow the free market to operate liquor stores, I do like that I get the exact same price no matter what store I visit. The Mecklenburg ABC web-site is pretty good for checking inventory and pricing, though it could be easier to search (for example if I know the name of a specific product I should not have to go to the category first).

It was a Friday very busy but they had a lot of cashiers long line but I was only in line for less than a minute

They have it all. Just try no to go before a holiday or on a Saturday night.

One of the larger ABCs in the area with a very large selection. The manager here is always friendly and happy to help. They also seem to get a few cases rather than a few bottles of the more seasonal and hard to find releases which is nice since it seems like the smaller stores save those bottles for their regulars. That said 1 star lost because its a Mecklenburg ABC and we all know any of the super rare releases never actually make it on the shelf as they go straight from the delivery truck to the liquor board members personal liquor cabinets!

Always enjoy going to this location over others. We go out of our way to go to this store rather than the one down the street from us on Tryon. Its always clean, the staff greets you when you enter, and the selection is huge. Fast service ar the registers and product is always stocked.

Recently moved into a much larger building next door to their old location. Pretty good selection, unless you are looking for rare or hard-to-find items. They carry a decent amount of products from local distilleries (neat!), and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Worst customer service from the cashier named Saphira. I went to purchase a bottle, no acknowledgement while Im standing in line. Not busy whatsoever. I walk to the register and Saphira with a very nasty attitude and shocked I walked up to the cash register to purchase. She sends me back to the waiting line after asking if Im paying cash or debit. Very understandable except the fact that I was insulted by her, an ABC Employee, saying learn to read the sign for cash or card. Well I looked and pointed out to her there is no sign, then a worst attitude ensued and I was threatened to get kicked out. I asked for her name and she ignored me and tried to cover her name tag. Wow, just wow. This is customer service? I will never return here. Management needs to establish to employees that this is a business, not a bar or the street.

Very disappointing experience. I was not serviced to buy liquor even though I had my driver’s license because my accompany did not have DL at that time, which was understandable but why I cannot visit later after dropping my accompany. I was told by cashier that I could not come now but next day. Manager had little different reply that I could come after the shift change on same day so the cashier would not recognize me since I visited the store with my accompany who did not have ID at the previous time, and he stated this as a company policy.To #ABC board, I feel this is very stupid policy if it actually is and will be creating many disappointing customers.
