I ordered here through door dash. My original doordasher never arrived with the order. I was given the option of refund or redelivery. I somewhat enjoy the ice cream last time and it’s right across the street from my house so i thought why not get a redelivery. After 3 failed deliveries, i called them to ask what was happening. The employee told me i was “SOL” and i just had to eat the money because she was NOT remaking it. Upon asking for a manager, she said they don’t come in until 4. I realize it was not their fault and i wasn’t complaining. I was letting them know because i assumed she thought i had picked it up and it was mistakenly getting reordered. I went in myself to talk to them. And i was relieved my order had been lost and cancelled.Very rude and very clueless. I advise you save yourself a trip. No gloves, no masks. Gross.

Presentation was awesome but didn’t care for the flavor. Neither like nor dislike too many flavors to do so. Just bad choosing on my part.

Too many times people have one bad experience and that should not taint a food establishment, we can all have an off day.Let me tell you better listen to the other negative reviews on opening times.This place doesn’t even know how to open on time. I ordered on DoorDash and my dasher didn’t deliver my order. I had the option to reorder it so that’s what i chose. When the next dasher went to pick it up the older lady working said i already picked up the order. I reordered it again in the app and called the store this time to let them know why this was happening. She told me she did not care and they would not be remaking my order.

Just tried this place over the weekend and it was a hit! The ice cream consistency is thick and creamy which we love. And the flavor combos are really good! Good prices for the amount and toppings. New favorite ice cream spot for us.

I got the strawberry and Graham Crackers ice cream. Vanilla was the base flavor with toppings of strawberries, brownies, and Graham Crackers. It was delightful! Not too sweet. Perfect tasting and the woman who made it (sorry I didnt ask for your name, the Indian woman) was so fast and so good at her work technique. The cashier (Filipino young woman, sorry I didnt ask for your name!) Was so lovely! She talked with us and gave us great options of flavor to choose from!

My best friend I had high expectations for this ice cream shop and we’re severely let down.We were checking it out as a possible place to take our kids on our next outing.The customer service was not great and the ice cream was terrible.We ate a few bites and then decided it wasn’t even worth eating so we through them away and left.Trust me, not worth the visit.Disappointing.

The icecream is amazing BUT THEY ARE NEVER OPEN! they say online it opens at 12 noon everyday but they are never here. No sign no nothing to let you know why or when they will open. Just no one been coming to this location for week now and no one is ever here. Guess I’ll stick to the hixson location. They are amazingly nice and actually open

I didnt hear much good things about this place, and negative comments had all to do with their service. Today, I decided to take my family here as a first time experience for all of us. Of course, rolled up ice cream was cool, but what was better was Austin. His sincere attitude, smile and overall service made my family very happy. Thank you!

Many flavor choices. Fresh ingredients. Lots of folks seems to like it. Open later than the competition. It would help if they hired a few more people to keep up with the line and keep up with keeping the dinning area cleaner. Appears to be a family operation. Its good to support local business. This was my first time at 8 F and I am impressed with how the icecream is flattened and rolled before going into a bowl. It is a very unique experience and pretty cool. I got the butter cream pecans with extra pecans and butterscotch on top. Wow! It was delicious! Im not a big icecream person but this was well worth the stop. So if you are in town give them a try. The staff are very friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable of there products.#shoutout8fstaff

BEST PLACE FOR ICE CREAM!! It was such a great deal!! You pick a ice cream flavor combination and 3 toppings for only $5.99!! DID I MENTION THE ICE CREAM IS ROLLED?!!?! This is a great idea and a wonderful show!! The ice cream is made and rolled right in front of you, which I find very neat to watch!! I am so very glad we found this place!! Everyone there was super nice and informative as it was our first time there! There are wheelchair accessible entrances and parking. VERY CLEAN!! They are also open until 11 pm which is awesome for late night ice cream cravings or date night after a movie!! Thank you guys soo very much!!

Despite some of the low star reviews, I had a good experience here. I came in with a group of 5 and we all ordered different flavors. The employee working managed to get them out after awhile. There was only 1 worker. The ice cream was very good and there are tons of “recipes” of what to order. This would be a great place for an after-meal date or a nice place to stop for a cold refreshment.

I wouldve gave 5 stars if they had milkshakes, but they said they will start serving milkshake next week 😋

This place is kind of cool the way that they present your ice cream! I was visiting the city and wanted to find dessert before heading back to the hotel and found them through Google. After explaining the menu we placed our order and was pleasantly surprised on the presentation. The taste didnt disappoint either! We ordered reeses/bananas and Oreos/brownies/bananas...very good!

If you are wanting to experience the least pleasant ice cream shop in the world, ever, come on over to this place. Not once was I spoken to while buying ice cream for my whole family. One of the two adult employees stayed on her phone the entire 30 minutes we were there. The other took our orders and money without words. It was impressive how little interaction I had and still managed to get my order. Also there was a small child training for the next American ninja warrior I assume as she was crawling barefoot on all the unoccupied tables. There was a bottle of cleaner by the register that I used to clean the funk off my family’s table before using it. Every table was filthy. We will never come back here. They could have paid me to take the food and I still would leave a terrible review. Horrible, horrible service. Ice cream was ok.

I absolutely LOVE this place. They have a big variety of ice cream as well as shaved ice selections. They make your ice cream in front of you on a cold stone by mixing the creams and toppings of your choice and chopping them together. Its great for families and children of all ages and the options are absolutely delicious!

If I could do 0 stars I WOULD! This place was absolutely terrible! First of all the lady spoke very little English and she was very hard to understand. She was also not wearing shoes, which is a health violation. She was wearing gloves when we paid and She did not change them after she started to make and handle the ice cream. I got Oreo chess cake but I could not taste the cheesecake at ALL! Her daughter went to the restroom and did not wash her hands, then she handled the ice without gloves. The ice cream was cute but the ice cream was very hard and not easy to scoop. Someone in our party ordered shaved ice with 3 flavors but was Clearly only given one. Also someone in our party has allergies, the lady did not wash the board where she was making the ice cream. If my friend was allergic to peanuts she would have had a reaction. Never ever going back. This needs to be fixed

Just wasnt very happy about visiting this place, we were the only ones there, and the lady behind the counter didnt really seem interested in helping us, but after we placed our order she got right to it. But when it came time to get the toppings she didnt even ask if we wanted any and just handed it to us. Then went to go sit at a table and started talking on the phone. The ice cream was good but it would have been better with the toppings....

It was our first time there and we were excited as we had heard great things. This place is far from anything the marble slab before it was. I’m new to the whole “curled” ice cream thing that they have going on, but I really didn’t like it. At best it was aesthetically pleasing but the shape and how hard it was made the ice cream hard to scoop out with a spoon, which lead to an unnecessary mess and frustration while it was eaten. The flavor was a massive disappointment. I got a chocolate ice cream and it honestly tasted like plain, frozen milk. We were told by people that it was similar to marble slab in that they mixed in their toppings. They really don’t. They gave me such a little amount of the topping I wanted, too. The only reason I finished the ice cream was because I went home and added stuff to it to make it remotely better. To add to that, the people who took our order (the managers presumably) were incredibly rude and impatient with us. They made no effort to explain how things worked. Another helpful employee had to jump in and explain while the managers just stood there dumbfounded. I felt like we were not really helped or heard, and that the service was really robotic. We will not be returning, as there was little saving grace for us.

Absolutely amazing. No complaints. Their ice cream was incredible. After all the frozen yogurt places going out of business in this area, this ice cream shop has definitely made up for it! And, you can watch them roll your ice cream as you wait!

Love this place. Great ice cream, fun to watch, tons of topping combos. The only downside is it takes nearly 5 minutes to create each ice cream so if its busier there will be a wait. But its worth it!

Ice cream is OK. Same concept as Cold Point, though this place came later and it doesnt taste as good in my opinion. They let people put notes all over the windows, which is a fun idea, except they use the notes to bash Cold Point. They read as though employees wrote them and hung em up at the front of the register. Pretty low in my opinion. I guess Ill stick with cold point. Its worth the wait for a better product.

Really good

We arrived on the back of a rush so the line was initially almost to the door. The ordering process was fairly quick so we didnt wait too long. It is interesting to watch the flavors/add ins being mixed in and then being rolled for placement in the cup. The mixture is so well blended that the flavor is very consistent throughout. We very much enjoyed the experience and kids will like watching the preparation.

I will say that the ice cream was extremely delicious when I went and tried, but Im giving it two stars due to the fact that when I went for my first time (July 2019) I specifically told them that I have a severe tree nut allergy. I could swell up and die due to the oils from tree nuts (walnuts, cashews, pistachios, pecans, etc) and pretty much begged them to wash their utilities before making mine... They did none of those things and I ended up having a mini allergic reaction while I was on my way home...So please listen to your customers when they tell you they have allergies. Their life is in your hands when your making them ice cream.

They need more employees working at a time. Only one guy was working and it took me 30 minutes to get my boba tea. Not his fault but mgmt needs to look into it. Boba tea was good but I’d rather go somewhere else where I don’t have to wait 30 minutes.

Although there is a long wait for the ice cream you purchased, it’s worth it at the end if you have the patience. Lots of flavors and toppings of your choosing not to mention the great pricing. Very affordable and awesome on a hot day. If you haven’t tried it I suggest you do if you’re looking for something new.

Great selections. They were training new employees while we were there so there wasnt the same atmosphere as the first rolled ice cream shop we went to but it was still awesome.

I don’t often leave reviews for places, especially without giving a chance for the issue to be fixed. Unfortunately this was not a problem that is a simple fix. I am a mom, a mom to a daughter with severe allergies. When asking if your products have the exact thing my daughter is allergic to and you assure me it is safe to eat, I expect everything to be fine. What I didn’t expect was for my daughter to begin having an allergic reaction only 10 minutes later. Luckily, we have dealt with these allergies for a couple of years and know all of the signs to look for so we were able to avoid a trip to the emergency room. I have had no luck to contact anyone from the store to address this issue. It’s a serious concern when you go somewhere and you are assured multiple times that the food is safe and it turns out not to be. My husband and I love the place but we will not be back after this. I’m just grateful we know the warning signs and always carry an Auvi-Q for my daughter to avoid a fatal incident.

It was a long wait to order and an even longer wait to receive the ice cream.Unfortunately there was only one person working and customers kept coming in to buy ice cream.Eventually another worker came in and helped to get the line down.At one point the line was almost out of the door.While the ice cream was tasty it was not worth the wait or the price.You can buy a gallon of store ice cream for the money spent on the small cup.

We got great customer service from register boy and the man making my ice cream did a great job. Cant forget the sweet topping girl who topped my ice cream off. Only down side was a boy who came out the back & started talking about other employees pay as well as his demanding everyone to clock out in the middle of making our ice creams

Ice cream was ok. Employees were not all wearing masks. I asked that they wear them when they made my ice cream and they did not so I had to ask them to remake it. Then, they made it wrong. I took it anyway because I felt unsafe in the store.

The ice cream is good but they cannot make it very fast. If you go with a large group, expect to wait 7- 10 minutes per ice cream ordered. I do not recommend going with children. I will probably avoid it in the future. Its not worth the wait.

Owners wife was as rude as possible with something to say or mumble under her breath while not mixing any of the additions into the icecream. She just rolled the vanilla icecream and started to top them with the additives I had asked for. Then when I asked for them to be mixed that was where the attitude came into play, she also decided that the marshmallows would be better burnt, and burnt them even more after I said they were good and needed no more toasting. Then lied about her name when I asked for it so I could explain the situation to her manager whom turned out to be her husband and he was saying what she should have done until he heard what she had done then changed to say what she had done was right

It looks really good and the process is a little neat but the ice cream had no flavor. I left out syrup cause I didnt want it too sweet or over powering. However, you need the syrup. The ice cream is not very sweet or flavorful. The topping is a solid piece. You order Oreo topping you get on one Oreo cookie sticking out of ice cream. That goes for everything else. Pretzel, marshmallow, etc. That is not really a topping. Garnish would be a better description. With that said, maybe that is how Thai icecream is supposed to be. The staff was busy gossiping about other people. I wasnt ignored but my ice cream was slow second to their gossip. I wont be back.

Fun twist on ice cream. It was a long wait, and I feel as though the price is a little high for what you get. But still, it’s a yummy change on a usual desert.

We recently visited 8F. It was great. The staff was friendly, the ice cream was delicious & the place was clean. Who could ask for more? Highly recommend. Would also suggest that some of those who have posted negative reviews would give it another try as it appears the problems may have been dealt with. I didnt see any of the issues mentioned at our visit.

Will not return. The ice cream may be tasty but we got to witness very rude interactions of a female business owner/manager with employees. The woman was at the cash register wearing gloves and taking credit cards and money when she dismissed the employee to do something else and kept the same gloves on that she used to prepare our food and pick up our ice cream rolls.

The ice cream is amazing. Unfortunately the staff is terrible. The could care less if you were there or not. Not helpful at all in explaining how it works. This should be a fun experience not like you are burdening them by giving them money.

The ice cream is amazing. I gave them 2 stars because the workers were absolutely highly unprofessional and rude. They were bad mouthing fellow employees and customers right in front of customers. If you didnt want the service then why work there? I understand that it was a rush but you should act more mature since you are at a work place.

The place smells like a bathroom and one of the employees picked at her fresh tattoo and dropped the dead skin on the floor. Right in front of where the ice cream was made. They don’t wear gloves. Completely disgusted. Will not come back.
