My car was hit while parked. I took my car to the shop my insurance company recommended. They didnt fix the issues and I brought it back 3 times to them.... I heard about Ye Old and took it to them. Not only did they fix it the first go around, they made sure everything was working properly before they gave me back my car. The staff was professional and friendly. I will definitely go back to this shop if I ever need work done again.

I had a great experience with this body shop! I was rear ended and brought my vehicle here. I spoke with the owner upon arrival (Johnny). He was great to work with as well as their Operations Manager (Russ). Both work with the insurance company and work hard to save you money. My vehicle was repaired in a timely manner and looks really great! The entire process was very smooth and I highly recommend bringing your vehicle here!

Russell is great to work with; very customer-oriented. Didn’t work to sell more than I wanted (or needed) for body work and paint on my classic car. Took the time to prioritize and phase work according to my budget. Going in for phase 2 in a couple of weeks and can’t wait!

I was rear ended and took my 2000 GMC Sierra here and I was met by Russ. He is very informative, he helped me through the process of filing my insurance claim and getting the ball rolling on everything else that needed to be done. Awesome work!! had a huge dent in the front of my car after backing a tow hook from another car into it and they completely fixed it. No sign of it ever happening. Paint job was on point and Id definitely come here again.. was exact cost of estimate and very fair pricing.

I was suggested this place from a towing company after an accident and I am so glad I used their service. My car was damaged and after sending it here to be worked on you would never know. Russel was so great with calling me with updates and keeping me informed. He even handled all of the insurance paperwork and made sure that I was taken care of. Bought a car from Carvana and there were a few things wrong with it. Russ and the staff at Ye Old Station were amazing and took care of everything. Second time Ive been here. The first time a neighbor bumbed my tail end. He was paying out of pocket and said go here. The did such an excellent job - youd never believe there was any damage ever done.The second time I didnt have service done as the car was totaled by my insurance company. But the customer service and communication they had with me in the whole process was unbelievable. They wereswere in contact with me more than my insurance company.I cant stress enough that they are there to do the best quality work but also to make sure you have an amazing customer service experience.

After over 2 months of waiting for repairs and Russell hanging up on my face today. I will have to get my work done elsewhere! I had to chase them for two months. They would cancel my appointments and not even tell me! So I’m driving there wasting time off work. If they couldn’t do the work they should of just said! They wanted to do a insurance scam and not do the work!! Crazy!! The owner Russell offered me a payout to do a insurance scam! They should of told me two months ago they couldn’t do the work!

You dont think much about your loved ones being in a car accident, especially with your child in the car and then the insurance hassle afterward... and you shouldnt! However, that time came and thank goodness my wifes car was towed to Ye Old Station Auto Body. Russ and Johnna were incredibly empathetic and reassuring (despite setting stuff like this every day). They treated my wife and child very well in person and via phone by taking the time to explain the next steps in the insurance process, repair options (and our choice, not pressured at all), realistic estimates. We decided to go with Ye Old for repairs and the experience could not have been better. Russ took no chances with our vehicle and even brought in the top Dealer Mechanic in CT for our vehicle style to do a critical piece of under-frame work with original dealer OEM parts! He made sure we were informed every step of the way and the additional information he provided also made sure the insurance company didnt drop the ball or screw me over as well! I was also looking a potential deployment at the time but felt extremely comfortable that Russ and the team had everything handled for my wife if needed. The car is literally good as new and delivered on time. Russ explained all the work, made sure we reviewed the cars repairs photos for internal and externally, all took my phone calls and patiently answered my questions. I had heard good things about this place since moving to town years ago and now I can verify it is all true. My only wish is that they did auto services too (oil change, filters, etc) as its about the ONLY place I trust with my car now (and that includes the dealer I bought the car from).

I was involved in an accident just before Christmas. Russ was more than helpful and accommodating, especially seeing how it was the holiday season. Due to a screw up with the insurance agency my car was held for much longer than anticipated and Russ didnt charge me a dime for storing it. The work he provided on my car had it coming out as if it were brand new. My car never looked or drove better. Ye Old Station is the finest establishment around. If you want your car coming out better than when you bought it I suggest you give them a ring. My wife and I were involved in a serious auto accident, just west of Southington, CT, and our vehicle was incapacitated by the extent of damage. After our full-size SUV was held at a local Towing Service for about one week, I contacted Russell at Ye Old Station Auto Body in Cheshire to discuss our situation. We, certainly, werent familiar with businesses in the area and were feeling rather apprehensive about entrusting our vehicle to a company so far away...since the accident actually occurred some 350 miles from home and another 700 miles from Dayton, OH, where we were visiting family members, by then. After assuring me that he and his staff would take good care of us, I requested that Russell have our vehicle transported to their shop. To say the least...such a decision was ABSOLUTELY RIGHT for us! Russell, Johnna, and other staff members, there, kept us in the loop and, furthermore, they CAME THROUGH with every promise made. To be very honesty, they went above and beyond to guarantee our vehicle was going to operate, PROPERLY, once parts were replaced, all damaged areas were repaired, a good paint job was done, the 4-wheel alignment was in good order, and our Enclave was back on the road, again! Nearly 3 weeks later, my wife and I are still VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMERS and, without any reservation whatsoever, we would HIGHLY RECOMMEND YE OLD STATION AUTO BODY to anybody looking for a body shop with an ethical, knowledgeable, and dependable team. I was towed here because of engine trouble, as it was shown as an affiliate of AAA. I was greeted nicely by Johnna and was told they only do body repair. I was distraught (thankfully this was the first time I’ve had an issue like this on a highway) and Russ compassionately offered to run a diagnostic test. He and the owner, John, graciously took the time to look at the engine to see if they could help. They ordered a few parts which were delivered quickly, and they were able to save my day! They kept explaining things to me and were very personable.It’s so rare to have people go above and beyond for you these days; their customer service just blew my mind! It’s incredible how much of a difference it makes.I’m so glad I picked the “wrong” shop!There was also a gentleman who came in with a dent (seemingly on a whim) after I arrived, and they had him in and out within the time I was there. If I ever am unfortunate enough to need body work, Ill definitely be taking it to them.

I had some front end damage to my Dodge Ram that had me to three other body shops before meeting John at Ye Old Station.John immediately made me feel assured by his confidence, knowledge, personal attention to my situation and his great attitude.Upon speaking with him I was able to see inside his shop that has all the latest equipment including tools, lifts, large work space, climate and dust control, and state of the art enclosed spray bay. I recently took my BMW there after getting hit by another vehicle and you would never know there was any damage. Looks better than the day i got it! The work was done quickly but you could tell it wasnt rushed and they have a lot of pride in what they do. Provided me with a nice rental car. Friendly staff and a clean shop. I first encountered Ye Old Station a few years ago after a bad wreck that totaled my car, my car had been towed to them after the wreck since they were close, and although I wasnt having any work done (since the car was a total loss) they were extremely caring and absolutely wonderful.Fast forward a few years, and I had the misfortune of not one, but two people hitting my car. I remembered their kindness from the first wreck, and decided to give them a call. I am so glad I did. They did a wonderful job on my car, its absolutely beautiful, it looks new! I am so thrilled with the quality of their work. Not only was the work fabulous, but they really care about you. Lets face it, no one WANTS to need a body shop, but the whole team (Johnna, John and Russ) at Ye Old Station make the whole process as painless as possible. Not only are they friendly and easy to deal with, they also do great work.

Horrible experience. Unprofessional and poor quality of work. Went there for a damaged passenger door on my new lease. When I went to pick the car up, it was left outside in an ice storm and it took them 45 min to clear it for me (while husband and baby waiting in other car), despite the fact they knew when I was coming the day before. Once I got in, I noticed the locks on the passenger door weren’t going down and were clicking, and some molding inside was hanging off, like it was a total rush job, even though it was there for weeks. I had to leave it and come back later that day. I later noticed that the door panel was malaligned and the door was (and still is) making a thudding sound, and seems to have more resistance than the other 3. I was told to bring it back another day, which I did. It was readjusted, but when I came back to pick it up, it looked the same, if not worse, and the door was still making same noise. They told me they drove it around and heard no noise, which is weird because I never said it did while driving, as if they didn’t listen to a thing I actually did tell them. I was told AGAIN to bring it back today, which I did, and this time spoke to the owner. What a piece of work!! Told me the malalignment is “acceptable” and that the door wasn’t making any noise or open differently (as he listened outside with traffic going by and water dripping off the buildings, making it harder to hear it). He did pull it into the bay, and called me in a few minutes later. Told me he’s been doing this for 50 years and knows what he’s doing. He again told me the fix was “acceptable” and proceeded to try to convince me that the door wasn’t making any noise (even though he said he greased it!!) to the point of debating me. I’m not deaf and not the only one that heard it, as I was told by HIS staff to keep coming back for it. I told him I was not there to argue with him or debate and that I could see and hear what was wrong. He was not trying to hear a thing I was saying at all, so I said I’m done here and walked out of the bay, stunned. He pulled the car out for me, and before I left said “I’ll make you a promise, if the dealership doesn’t take it back, I’ll buy the car from you” because I earlier expressed that I didn’t want to return this car in a few years and get hit on the back end for the damage when returning. I said you can keep your promise, I’m done here. NEVER AGAIN!!!!I drove straight to a shop in my town, (where I would have took it to in the first place, but they were so backed up at time of accident) and without getting into any specifics, the man says “the panel is crooked” and instantly noticed the way the door opened and sounded, looked at it quickly and said it was an improper repair!!!!Ye Old is soo unprofessional and clearly stands by their less than mediocre “acceptable” work...I also left a review on Yelp, and wouldn’t you know it, they called my husband shortly after. Needless to say, we both laughed at this, and will NOT be taking any calls from these people!!Save yourself the time and aggravation!! Hope this helps at least one person!!! ✌️Edit to response: we still had to “pay” for deductible through ?? Rental car policy. We were also initially quoted $2300 and it suddenly ended up being over $4000, off by about $2000. In the end, this isn’t about $$ or a deductible, but about sloppy work and unprofessionalism.
