They were short staffed when I went so it was slow.We couldnt use the park window they were closed temporarily because of the short staff.The food and ice cream was good and tasty.

Service was better than usual. They ran out of toppings and mixers for their ice cream dessert options though. We tried the Texan Coney Dog. It was good, but fairly dry. Fries were nothing to write home about - cold, hard, and unsalted.

A typical sonic. Good food, this one is not as busy as most.They were quick!Just one person lost it and broke one of the drive in screens.Other than that their seating area is huge and nobody wants to use it. God bless Wyoming

Ive been trying for 3 months to order from the drive thru and no one ever answers to take my order and all of the drive thru booths are broken all year round or so they say ( I think they just dont want to take anyones orders bc lazy) it really sucks because Sonic is my favorite food but with the family they have running it it went downhill please Corporate get us some good customer service oriented people to run this Sonic!!!

I wanted to give this Sonic zero stars. If your ice cream machine is out of order all summer, every summer, get a new machine. And, answer your phone for when I call ahead to see if you have ice cream. Avoid this Sonic and drive to the one on South Greeley highway. Or, go to Dairy Queen. This Sonic has not improved in years and until people stop going there, it will never improve.

Husband got his drink said it tasted funny and yeah here’s what he drank. I don’t know if you can see the mold growing at the bottom.

Terrible service they were unprofessional and take forever. I waited 30 minutes for a simple soda….. I would also like to mention that I was the only one at sonic and I was waiting for a whole 30 MINUTES! So unprofessional. I probably spent more money in gas waiting then I did for the drink I ordered.

We waited an hour in the drive through and they only had about 4 cars ahead of us. We ordered a kids meal and it had to be worst cheeseburger I had ever seen. I wouldnt even let my kid have that burger and we just went to McDonalds to get at least something that resembles a cheeseburger. Will not be back. It just is not worth it for the bad quality and expensive price for what you get. They could be a lot better. I would not recommend.

Only reason to give 3 is for The staff. They were trying their best what the manager/owner has given them! Soda machine is done, very upset about that, thats what makes Sonic.

They probably try, but 1 and a half hour drive through time for 2 corn dogs… well. Unacceptable for me. Did not even answer the red button at the stall. Had to go to the drive through with so many people doing the same thing.. Dissatisfied. I’m never going to forget not to go back. I may not live if I end up in the line again. I’d prefer not to starve to death.Literally just got out of the car and did my workout and then left it running and walked home and got some water for my dog and a cigarette.Still in line!!!!!

54 minutes waiting in the drive thru. They were obviously behind but that wasn’t the biggest problem. They didn’t listen to what we ordered. We had to hand back in a cheeseburger for the kids meal we ordered (which has no cheese.) Yet they simply put a slice of cheese on it, microwaved it and handed it back out. How could I tell? Well the cheese was super melty but the ketchup looked as if it was dried out and petrified. Terrible service for not actually listening to customers. Quality of food is even worse. Definitely won’t be back and don’t recommend the Dell Range location. Honestly if you could give zero stars I would have.

Totally dislike the ordering options.. only drive thru or app orders accepted, no stall ordering at any of the Cheyenne sonics. CLAIM short staffed looks like plenty of staff to walk an order to the stall or take an order at both Dell Range and South Greeley. Think theyve just gotten LAZY, but still a pricey fast food dive. Service is worse than McDonalds, they should have prices to match. Highly doubt Ill be back to sonic

Sooo slow. I ordered on the app and paid so I was forced to wait 30-45 minutes in line so I didn’t have to waste money. Stalls are closed. My ice was completely melted so drink was watery food soggy and cold because of how long it took to get food when I ordered on app. :( never going here again! Oh and I didn’t even get the right order and no compensation.

Waited in line for 10 min before the cashier took the order of the vehicle two cars in front of us. The speaker was so loud you could hear the female cashier/order taker 3 cars away and through closed windows. The cashier couldnt hear the people ordering and asked every car to repeat their order, my guess due to the loud music in the kitchen playing through the intercom. When we get our order I can see 7 workers in the building and the male cashier/worker who handed us our food put something down the shirt of a female worker. Also visible through the window was some form of aerosol that in my experience shouldnt be around food or drinks. Disgraceful of an establishment. Wont be returning to this location.

Slow drive through. Open .. but not really open. Computer issues...registrar issues. They wont have onion rings for two weeks in a row because theyre too lazy to cut and batter them. Even though the sign says Made fresh daily. It is a chore to try to get food from this franchise at this location. Draining. Ive never rated one star...but Im fed up.

Slow is an understatement, one car in front of me and it took 31 minutes. Short staff was not the problem, standing around with their hands in their pockets was the problem.

We got some slushies to cook us down from the heat and my goodness were they delicious 😋The dragon fruit Redbull slush is literally heaven in a styrofoam cup I swear.The staff were very friendly and I appreciate their hard work!

We usually come here but took a break. We got 3 cherry limanades. We were waiting at the speaker for 3 minutes and took long to make. I tried to order a strawberry cheesecake smoothie but “there was water leaking out of the machine ”. When we pulled up the window we saw 3 icreams and the floors where absolutely dirty. They dropped one of our drinks also. When we got our drinks it tasted like they put sprite with a cherry and lime watered down. I had a stomach ache and when I opened it it was loaded with ice. For a fast food joint that is so centered around ice cream you would think their ice cream machine would work. I was being nice giving them 1 star

This by far the worst fast food place in town, the customer service is non-existent the wait time at the drive-thru was horrible (10 minutes at the order speaker). Watching the staff thru the drive up window was a treat as well not interested in getting my order out when it was just sitting on the table for3 minutes. Will never visit this place again and will not recommend anybody to order or ear there.

A disappointing trip to Sonic. No flavoring in my strawberry lime Ricky and my burger was so burnt I actually couldnt eat it. 😔

Slow slow service going through the drive thru. There was only one person working and doing it all

So we parked in the booth to order. We were there for 30 mins. People arrived after us and were brought their food while we sat there. We had to push the button 2 times and still nothing. Finally, they told us that the booths were closed. 30 mins! Why are you called a fast food restaurant? We need to close Sonic and put a different restaurant there. Maybe some company that actually takes their customers time seriously. Sonic obviously doesnt care about letting their customers know anything until its convenient for them. Fire the crew or shut the place down its just wasting space and resources.

I drove up to the drive-in and press the button when I was ready to order and nobody ever came to take my order so I left. I came back later and they took my order and the hamburger I ordered was disgusting.

The employees did a wonderful job as busy as they were and having only 2 employees to handle everything.

So slow just to make two drinks makes me appreciate the my Sonics in Topeka

Sat in line for over 20 minutes to be told their ice cream machine was broken but they couldnt post a single sign any where. That was after having to go to the drive through because they were too short staffed to do anything besides drive through again no signs anywhere to notify customers of any of this.

Ordered on the app tonight, it kept timing out, Though I went across the street to Chick-fil-A. Got home and my email said that my sonic order had been processed and I was built so my foods just sitting there but Im not going back. Opened the app again at home still shows same items in my cart and that the ticket was never closed. They wont answer their phone, I cant even have them give away the food.

Literally every sonic in Cheyenne is terrible. They take forever. It can’t be called fast food that’s for sure. None of there speaker ever work. There Ice cream machines are always done. They must be owned by same person that refuses to put money back in them. Go anywhere else but here. Not to mention after we ordered we get up to the window and the lady is seriously chewing her food as she hands us our food

This place Is filthy, they dont wear gloves let alone masks. The employees are super rude the adults let alone the teen family members they hire.. they are all around the worst.

Ive been coming to this particular sonic since I was little. When I was younger, this place seemed decent. But as of the last several years, its been consistently bad quality. One of my favorite snacks is a butterfinger blast. Ive tried to get one several times now over the last couple of months, but their icecream machine is always broken.I had surgery thats left me bedridden the last few weeks. I wanted a nice treat to cheer myself up- a butterfinger blast- and low and behold, their icecream machine is still broken. The service is extremely slow, they dont greet you at the window, they dont read your order back, they dont read your change back, and they consistently get orders incorrect. I tried with this place for so long, but will no longer go back.Please save yourself the headache and go to the Dairyqueen on Pershing.

Horrible service, rude staff and never get orders right. This location charges extra for stuff like dipping sauces or onion and pickles, where the the south side one doesn’t. Came in yesterday and my coneys were disgusting, they didn’t have any onion when I asked for extra, the tots tasted like the fry oil hadn’t been changed in months and were super salty and my cherry limeade was more lime than cherry. Have had bad service experiences in the past with this location and don’t visit it like we used to because of it. Yesterday gave it a try thinking things had changed and was wrong, so that will be our last time going to this location. We will drive to the south side one from now on. It’s worth it for the better service

Update on my past review. Nothing changed. They dont have ice cream. Apparently the machine is broken. Does it ever work? The outside tables were absolutely disgusting and caked with old food and crust. They were also all out of tomatoes. Went to Sonic again on 8/11/20 and the ice cream machine is still down. The shake machine is working. I dont know why we even try!

Food was good, service better but they lost a star for not being able to provide Sonic Blasts due to their machine being down. Lost another star for warm food versus hot. Ordered corn dogs and chicken sandwich meal. 2nd dining experience in Cheyenne that was less than stellar. Recommended with caution.

Went here on August 10th to treat some friends of mine to a meal. We asked for 2 meals, a blast, and a hot fudge sundae. The wait time was about 10 minutes long. The carhop who brought out our order brought us the food and drinks, then just left. My friend was trying to give her a tip, but she left before he got the chance. We realized none of us had our ice cream, so we called back and asked if it was coming out. The person who responded said “Our ice cream machine broke so that’s why you didn’t get none.” I asked for a refund and they said the manager already wrote my name down for a refund. Days later, no refund. I tried to call and they didn’t answer.

Several bad experiences, but never going back after today. 30 minute wait. Five minutes waiting to have order taken at order point, did not read back my order. Gave me the wrong size with no syrup that I asked for. Rude teen staff. The soda bib was empty so I effectively paid $3 for a disgusting sparkling water. Tried to call but the phone was disconnected. Wasn’t going to wait a whole hour in line to get it corrected. This place is BS, avoid and go to Starbucks or the gas station for a drink.There’s also a laughable sign stating “don’t be mean to our teenage staff” when their staff is the rudest in Cheyenne.

This place is pretty bad. Came in for a chicken strip dinner. Each piece of chicken was not bigger than a chicken nugget from McDonald’s. I ordered strips even a teenager should know that’s not cool. The onion rings were all burned onion barely any breading and seemed to have been sitting for a long time. They clearly need better managers there for quality control.

Went to the one on Del Range asking if they had ice cream of course they said no. We have gone during the summer and no ice cream. Very disappointing in this dump.

No signage saying Drive Thru Only. After read the menu, hit red button i was informed that Car hop service was NOT available due to staffing shortage, and drive thru was my only option.By the time I drove BACK AROUND the building I was 4th in line. At my turn to order I was informed it would be 8-10 minutes for the chicken straps that I wanted to order. Mind you, this was a Saturday during lunch time...They can keep corn dogs fried up, burgers warm, French fries soggy, but you cannot have chicken strips ready..?I was not happy, and wont spend my money here.***why are the Sonic staff eating Chik-afilet..?

Their ice cream machine has not been working for months and they do not have any signs saying it’s not working. Why advertise your new ice cream treats when you can’t make them? The staff is always horrible and the line takes forever.

One of my favorite places to eat! Always love the food especially the grilled cheese and of course the original cherry limeade. Always a great place to go. Would definitely recommend.

My husband and I have gone to Sonic on Dell Range three times in the last three weeks, approx. 5:30 p.m., 6:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., to get a cherry cream slush and all three times we were told that they didnt have any ice cream. Really,? Arent you known for your ice cream. The last time we asked why and the gal on the other side of the speaker keep saying (3 different times) she didnt understand the question. We were in Laramie last week and got a cherry cream slush. What is going on? Also, I just tried to call to speak with the manager and they would not answer the telephone.
