I went there this evening to return a perfume that didn’t work for me (which I bought literally last week and it gave me a headache). A girl who worked there tried to convince me to exchange it for another one because it’s easier (???) and after I had to explain to her (3!) times that I didn’t like anything else and would rather get a sample instead of buying another bottle of perfume that won’t work for me and come back there for a return she let me return the product. When she finished the transaction I said thank you I appreciate it have a good night, she said nothing and rolled her eyes at me. Execute me???

I went in looking for a scent that was sprayed on my bag a week ago from another store. I forgot to ask her name, but the lady that helped me was able to immediately find the scent I wanted by taking a whiff. Pretty impressive!

It was OK but the receptionist was a little odd and seemed like she might be high at work. When we walked in she said we caught her off guard and that she needed to go to the bathroom but couldnt because she was the only employee in the store - super weird to say after hello!I tried the sample and it was good but I didnt stay long for obvious reasons.

I went to Aesop to buy a birthday gift for my friend and the lady in the store really gave me a hard time throughout the experience, especially when I asked if I can have my items wrapped because it’s a gift. There were 2 staff and the other guy first gave me a tote and when I asked for gift wrapping she was very arrogant and asked me, so you don’t like our tote? And I said because it was a gift. Then she very reluctantly started to wrap it and then took the tote away, said ‘because you have the wrap now, I won’t give you the tote.’ The whole experience was very disappointing…

I am a huge supporter of Aesop products. The West Loop location is new, with parking directly outside of the doors! No matter which location that you visit, you can expect their products to be fully stocked and beautifully displayed. The atmosphere is relaxing and architectural, with an honest and knowledgeable staff. Be sure to enjoy a cup of tea while you shop around and don’t be shy about asking for samples, they’re very generous.

It was my first time trying these products and I will be back! Sophia was very knowledgeable about all the products and helped me find my new favorite fragrance.

Incredible shop of perfumes, creams exfolients.Excellent level of Covid safety too here.Great staff, knowledge of products and they let you sample anything you interested in.

Not sure if its just July 4 weekend but the 2 workers there made the experience terrible.

Randomly walked passed this store and tried the sample lotion they had displayed outside and then kept walking. About two blocks later, my bf and I couldnt get over just how good it smelled and felt on our skin so we circled back and spent the next hour in the store smelling and trying everything out. Its a cute little store and the service was great. We walked out as two happy customers!

Best little store, I stopped in and picked up nearly one of everything. They had delicious hot tea and the staff is very helpful and friendly

I love this stuff and Its so nice theyre in the west loop now. Higher end Apothecary stuff. So keep that in mind. But going to the store is part of the experience so I go in person vs ordering online.

AMAZING! Came in for a gift for a friend and the ladies were so helpful and polite. Will definitely come back to purchase more items
