I went here for the first time today 8/27/21 and didn’t have any problems. This place has been located here for years and is convenient to my home but I needed some hair supplies so I decided to make the trip. I was greeted by a Sale Associate coming into the door. I told the woman what I needed and she was able to assist to my needs right away. They had the comb I wanted, the hair scarf and the SA even did some suggested selling by telling me about a product that works on detangling naturally curly hair. The prices are fairly decent compared to other major discount and big retail stores. The place was pretty neat and there was merchandise or variety to choose from throughout the store. You might have to ask for assistance coming into the store if you aren’t greeted right away. This is because there is so much in the store you might find yourself wanting to know exactly where everything is in the store.

I was over charged 10$ today and didn’t realize it until i made it home and looked at my receipt. Pretty sure it was a accident but my problem is no one answers the number listed online which is different then the number on the receipt but it’s one digit that is not showing on the receipt so i have no way of contacting the store about the problem that has happened . I’ve never been able to contact anyone over the phone and I’ve been trying for years . I’ve been a customer here for 6 years and have never been able to speak to anyone via phone:

I love this place. This is the only beauty supply store that I shop at. Its very clean, spacious, has great lighting, is well stocked, and has updated products. I also appreciate the kindness of the employees. They are friendly and they do not stalk and harrass you during shopping.

I had a great time shopping at Hair World spent more than i had planned because they have such great merchandise I dont mind spending when i am getting what i want. I wil be shopping at Hair World again soon.

Very decent beauty supply. One thing I’ve noticed and many of my clients who purchase hair or items there state they have higher prices for the same items other beauty supply stores sell. Usually .50 cents or $1 higher.Their prices are also way higher than the price of same items online.

After building up all those points, they told me today that they no longer have the point system. Very disappointed about that.

Customer Service is nice there. The workers help each customer find what ever you are looking for. They have mostly everything that you may want from a beauty supply shop. If they dont just ask them to get it in the store for your next visit.

I purchased a wig and when I opened the package the wig was too small. I never wore the wig I never unhooked the tags from the wig and I never detached the wig from its original packaging. I simply looked at the cap that the wig was attached to and it was smaller than the wigs I normally purchased from different stores. I brought this to the sellers attention he said Im stuck with the wig. I asked him if he had different brands that had larger sizes or if he could just order me a larger size. The manager refused and said that theres no exchanges no refunds and theres nothing he can do about it. Im stuck with the wig even though its still in the packaging and I have the receipt and its clearly never been worn this is his words. He also sold me some children hair milk. When I used the childrens hair milk it was not the same quality as when I purchase the same product from other stores. I use that particular product on all my children and I have used it on them for the last 2 years. But what he sold me was watered down and it smelled different than the product I usually buy from other stores. When I brought this to his attention he accused me of lying. The consistency of his product compared to the same product I bought from a different establishment was very different and the smell was very different and he still did not care. This store is clearly tampering with the products that they are selling. I am out of $30 on the wig and an extra $6 for the product that I paid for my daughters hair.

Asian man rude that was on floor stocking, needed assistance wasnt able to help. I found item myself..if u dont understand a product hire people of color to assist..after all 75% or more of paying customers are people of color ..I see often if all ur staff isnt Asian or Korean if there is a person of color there they are hired as a look out person or watch dog ..

Went to exchange some braiding hair for another color, they initially refused to service me because I didnt leave the hair I wanted to return at the counter.Although I had a receipt, they had “no proof” I came in the store with the hair originally. The cashier said she would have to wait until her manager came in to check the cameras. All I could do was laugh, like girl if you dont exchange this .99 cent hair and stop playing with me
