I used to frequently visit Indique in Chicago when I lived there, and I really like it. I always go out with beautiful, high-end hair. Everyone who goes in feels instantly welcomed and at ease. The associates/staff are well-informed, talented, and courteous. It seems like the time I spend there flies by.Ive been wearing Indiques bounce and hysteria collection for years. I recently experimented with their 20 water wave braided hair bundle, which is both comfy and appealing.

I have been using Indique for over 10 years. I’ve sent friends and coworkers to Indique. I will not purchase anymore and since my hair looks a mess I’m sure no one will ask me where I purchased it as they always do. I am so disappointed! Not only is the hair such poor quality now (post-pandemic) but I think they know it’s not the same. I understand how challenging it was to obtain hair during the height of the pandemic but you cannot charge premium prices when the hair you source is anything but. Secondly I purchased pure curly as always and the curl pattern is more like pure wavy. I hate wavy. Finally, I purchased 16”, 18”, and 20”. I promise you I measured and re-measured the hair. Even though the 18” is measured that way, it is 16” and gone are the extra 2” at the ends of all three. I normally don’t have to cut 2” off but I do now because of the horrible split ins but when they’re cut I’ll end up with two 14” and one 18”. I am a nurse so I’m not rich. I pay entirely too much money for this hair and if you haven’t purchased Indique pre-pandemic you don’t have anything to compare this poor quality hair with. I need another company to purchase from so if anyone has suggestions for me please help.

Saying yes to Indique was a step ahead to my hair goals. Using their machine weft hair extensions and they are awesome. The perfect texture that blended in. Now I have this long, smooth and voluminous hair. Strongly recommended, try them out, you wont regret.

I have been wearing straight closure and creating waves and curls until i came across Indiques deep wave closure. The hair and the lace material is of high quality. And I love the main styles I have been able to wear.I recommend this product to everyone :)

The frontal wig is so soft with nice smell which Ive received last week. I would love to buy the same stuff again.

I really love the Bounce Blowout! It’s simply the best texture that I’ve ever had that’s so close to my natural hair texture... not too straight and not too *****... and the softness is unbelievable! I get tons of compliments. I’m very, very, oh did I say “very” satisfied! :) I definitely recommend this hair! Just try it and I know you’ll like it!

My hair is really short and blunt, so I wasn’t sure how well this would work, but the extensions worked so amazing that it looked natural !! Texture,color,length is too good and the hold is very comfortable. I was impressed by the selection of colors, and got a pretty perfect match for my hair with no adjustments .I will highly recommend my friends,family to shop from here.

Wonderful product, So far so good hair came same day I ordered it. I ordered a 16,18,20 and 14 inch front but ended up cutting it. Hair came very soft nice wave and no smell. Will for sure order again.

I love Indique Curly Closure sew in. It was used to make a wig. I bleached the knots & the hair. No shedding, tangles or bad smell. I would definitely buy again.

I have wore hair extensions for the last 25 years enhancing my own hair and complete installations of weaves and braids. Over the always trying to fine the best quality hair. When I cam upon Indique almost two years ago now I was very excited. loved the quality, textures, hi wit inter grated with my hair, the positive affects it had on my scalp and growth if my own hair because no dyes and chemicals added was amazing. I tend to be a hair freak and pretty picky about hair and I have been thoroughly pleased with the product . I have a collection and find the hair is reusable with good care ....I am thrilled ....it maintains its curl, natural bounce and shine if you care for it as if it were your own hair. Loving it...

I love Indique hair! Best in the city of Chicago. The hair quality is so good! You won’t have any issues with it. I even workout with the hair and it still looks amazing. I have been using their hair for 3 years. My favorite is the relax straight. I 100% recommend it! The staff is also amazing and helpful. Go for it do not hesitate.

It was so easy to come in for a last minute date related emergency. The staff was nice thoughtful and accommodating and I found d exactly what I needed. Even though I was expecting good quality my expectations were exceeded. Will update after I try it out for a bit!!

I normally buy the pure wavy collection in which I LOVE!!!! However, for Black Friday I tried the Sea collection. I’m not thrilled about this collection and question the authenticity of this line. I’m allergic to synthetic hair and I notice my skin breaking out similarly to my reactions with synthetic hair. Also, I pre clean all bundles with boiling hot water. The water turned Rusty brown when I poured the boiling hot water on my 10in bail straight hair. They say it’s unprocessed so I’m wonder why the water turn brown?

I went with a friend so that she could get some quality hair. The person working was very nice and informed. She helped us selected a type of hair for the style that my friend wanted. She didn’t try to push us toward any one type of hair she really wanted us to pick the best type for the style. The prices were very decent and the package was very unique. The atmosphere was very professional. If you’re looking for a place to get hair I recommend atleast going to look around.

I went into the Indique store expecting professional assistance because Im fairly new the would of weave. I first purchased my Indique hair at Jordans Beauty Supply over 1 year ago, and the sales associate listened to what I was saying and matched the hair type perfectly (I have natural hair and just press the hair that is left out). So I explained I dont want a straight hair and she recommended this very course looking Bounce hair. I forgot the name, however, I did have the hair in my hair when I went into the store on Wabash. It was too late to go to Jordans when I got off work so I went to the store thinking this should be a great experience, wrong. I went in and explained I dont want the straight permed looking hair, I want the Natural Bounce. Little did I know that by me saying Natural Bounce it was a blend hair. I was not sure but trusted the women at the counter and even held it to the hair I had on my head to compare color. Long story short, I went to my beautician at 6:30pm with hair taken down due to a date that evening and she immediately said that was the wrong hair, but what chose did I have. I went back to the store and of course I was informed I could not receive a refund or exchange because half of the hair was sewed in . I explained this was the wrong hair and took in the new piece I had left over from my first purchase and the same sales clerk said, that is Bounce Natural the one you have there is the Bounce Straight. I lost $180 on this hair because the sales reps didnt listen to my description of what I wanted or look at the hair on my head, even after I told them I was not sure of the name. If you go to this location you better know the exact name of the hair you want, because your on your own at this location. Horrible service.

Washed this hair and it is awful. The shedding is ridiculous and there are so many split ends. I am so disappointed that I wasted my money!

This is the only purchase that I regret so far this year and it upsets me each time I think about having spent $500 on hair that is no better than hair that I paid $200 for. It tangled and shedded and lost its good texture about two weeks after wearing it. I washed it which was a nightmare. I purchased Indique’s shampoo and conditioner which only further dried the hair out. The first time that I washed the hair, I allowed it to air dry thinking that the heat from the blow dryer would dry it out. Big mistake! Washing the hair alone caused it to immediately loose its texture and feel dry. I straightened it with my Babybliss flat iron and that still didn’t help to make the hair any better. You would think that when you pay $500 for hair, it should be some of the best hair in the business. I wore hair that I paid only $200 for for over 2 years. I washed it multiple times and it always kept its good feel and texture. I do not recommend purchasing hair from this company. You can find better quality hair at a much cheaper price.

Bought a pure curly closure online. Paid over $250 for it. I wanted to give it zero stars because it was only worth $2. It had bald spots in it less than a month later. No chemicals, no heat, just wetting it and brushing it. Such a waste of money. Highly disappointed. When I called to complain and get some kind of refund or anything I was basically told oh well. Never again!!!

I would not recommend this hair. A bought a couple of bundles of the Pure Wavy when they had their Black Friday sale and wanted to wear it awhile before writing a review. I have had the hair in for almost three months and it sheds like a dog and tangles easily at the nape. Seriously...my bathroom floor is covered with hair every time I brush it. This hair is not worth the price at all...and I bought it at a discount. I am disappointed because there arent many places in Chicago where you can go into a boutique and buy hair. However, I would much rather pay shipping and receive a quality product than to waste money on hair that isnt good quality. Try Yummy extensions, ladies.

I purchased 3 bundles of hair and a closure on 7/2/2016 for $518.94. The hair was colored and installed in about a week and was shedding from the beginning. I called and emailed the store and the manager got back with me after over a week stating there is nothing she can do because the hair was colored. I sent pictures of the shedding hair and told her it looked like the tracks were not securing the hair they were loose and she said the same thing and stated she has not received other complaints about the hair which I find hard to believe since all of the hair I purchased was shedding. I had a track left that wasnt installed and when I ran my fingers through it I would get loose hairs. If the hair cant stand up to being colored they should tell the customers...btw I have colored the hair in the past without this problem, and I asked if it was okay to color the hair when I first purchased the hair and they said yes the hair can be colored. I purchased indique hair many times over the years and the last hair I purchased had some shedding but I didnt complain because I had it for a while before installed. The quality of this hair is no longer worth the price. I can go to any beauty supply and purchase shedding hair for much less. They offered me a discount on my next purchase which will never happen.

I absolutely love this hair. I have tried many other hair brands even tried ordering hair offline but nothing compares to Indique Hair. I use to buy my hair from Jordans Beauty Supply on 87th & Kedzie but at this location they are very limited with the amount, kind and length of the hair they have in stock. I discover the Indique Hair on Wabash last year during my first year at Roosevelt University and loved it. When I went here the first time the lady was nice and informed me of all the different hair they had in the store. I ended up buying 3 packs of Pure Wavy and instantly fell in love. Now there is a another younger lady who works there now who is also nice but shes not as helpful as the other lady. Also I am not noticing that some of the hair that they sell in the store is not as fresh as when you buy it offline but overall it is a very good location.
