I had a bridal appointment yesterday, October 18th, and it was beyond perfect. The facility is absolutely stunning - you really feel like you are in a fairytale. My stylist, Hope, was prepared with the gowns for which I was interested as well as asked me questions about my style, vision, and desire to further guide my options. She carefully curated other options for me then proceeded to help me into each and every gown. Hope provided feedback for the fit and potential alterations for every gown. She not only helped me through the process of finding the right gown, but also was simply delightful. Hope was not pushy or “sales-y” at all which was nice. She provided my guest and me water and sparkling wine and gave us recommendations for lunch options in the area. BHLDN was absolutely dreamy, and I would recommend this bridal shop to anyone seeking a bridal gown.

I went to this store 3 separate times. Third time is a charm, but I think that charms name was Jacqueline! Request her, you will not regret it! I actually ended up purchasing the dress she picked out that I looked over on the rack and online. She listened to my needs and just made the experience light hearted and easy. They have beautiful dresses and Jacqueline really did make it so much better. Thank you so much Jacqueline for picking out my perfect dress!

I had a fun and relaxing experience at BHLDN. My stylist, Hope, was incredibly friendly and helpful and made me feel at ease in the process. My only complaint is that some of the dresses were ripped or well-loved but Hope did an amazing job adjusting the sample dresses on me so I could see the best possible fit. I was happy with the selection I tried on based on my favorites from the BHLDN website. Hope also was great at styling and adding some accessories that I may go back and purchase for the wedding.

The dresses here are so beautiful and very affordable. Erin did a great job of making us feel comfortable, and getting to try on so many styles helped me narrow down what I was looking for in a dress! Ordering online was quick and easy.

The stylist (Helen) is extremely rude. Even asked why on earth I chose to get married. Me and my friends felt super awkward the ENTIRE TIME. Didnt even helped me with those huge dresses and blamed me for not asking for help. Do not recommend.

I already bought a dress, but I came all the way from Indianapolis to BHLDN with my family to have a “bridal experience” trying on wedding dresses. Appointments are only an hour, so I felt very rushed. Their inventory is extremely small, compared to their website. Many dresses I couldn’t even try on because they are on such a back order. Stylist didn’t help me at all, a lot of time I was left stranded in the dressing room trying to put on these huge gowns. They are only stock gowns, but I will say they are probably some of the most disgusting I’ve ever tried on. Makeup stains, smelly from other brides before me, and my stylist chose many dresses that were way too big on me, and didn’t adjust the sizing to really reflect how the dress would actually look. My sisters actually had to adjust the dresses some of the time, as my stylist would randomly leave at times.Overall the experience was not bridal at all. I felt like a customer at a fast food restaurant more than a bride. At the end of my appointment, I found a dress on display that I had wanted to try on but didn’t see on the rack, and my stylist just dismissed me and pretty much escorted us out of the building. The only reason it gets a 2/5 is because the dresses themselves are still very beautiful, and they let me bring in my younger sister, who put me over my minimum guest count allowed.

I had a great experience here and found my dress on the first try, and our person was super friendly and helpful. The dress is even better now that I have mine and not the sample. I took it for alterations this week and the seamstress said that she can tell that its a more affordable lace, but that its good quality and good to work with. The detail is beautiful.

This is the first and only place I went wedding dress shopping! They were so kind and my stylist took her time getting to know the styles that I liked. She fully inspired me to think out of the box to get the exact look that I wanted. The set up is also very straightforward so I never felt overwhelmed by the volume of dresses. I would highly recommend.

I was very disappointed in the bridal appointment I had in July 2021. I had initially written a review here, but was conversing with another bride who said she never saw it. So here it is... again...Heres what you need to know: my top choice dress was not pulled even after noting it on the form then also requesting it 3 times during the appt, 60-minutes is not long enough for an initial appt, the consultant rushed through the entire process and kept reminding me that I was on the clock, she dismissed the fact that I had driven from out of town for this and could not return for a follow-up, there was no guidance given for how to get in and out of the dresses - just passed the hanger (no wonder they were falling apart), she was extremely pushy to get the sale, and when I received the dress it was clear that she sized me completely wrong (2 sizes too large). I would NOT recommend making an appointment here at all with the time limitations in place. I do recommend just ordering/returning dresses online as they are beautiful styles. Just beware the 30-day return policy.

Not a ton of dresses to try on - their inventory is huge online but not in store. Cute place though! Very nice and thoughtfully designed. Cheaper dresses as well.

If I could leave zero stars here, I would. Unfortunately, this was my very first stop as a new bride looking for a dress. Appointment time is only an hour and my bridal assistant showed me each labeled rack (romantic, boho, simple, etc) and told me to select which ones I wanted to try on. When I had selected SIX dresses, she told me that I only had an hour and that I would need to start trying them on. Not only were these dresses DIRTY from other people, they were TORN, zippers were BROKEN, and buttons were RIPPED off. My bridal assistant was rude to my guests, unhelpful with me, as well as, made me feel like a hindrance to her day. I was rushed and sad because this is supposed to be a fun experience finding the dress for one of the most important days of my life. Spare yourself, dont make an appointment at BHLDN.

My stylist Sarah was wonderful, bridal shopping with covid precautions is not something that I ever imagined for myself, but Sarah/bhldn did a great job creating a comfortable and positive atmosphere in spite of some of the difficulties of covid precautions. I had an overall great appointment and ordered my wedding dress as soon as I got home

Before my appointment I received an email that stated “you are only allowed to bring three guests to your appointment”. I came in with my dad and 2 friends for my appointment. My stylist told me I was only allowed 2 guests and that the number included me. However the bride across from me brought 3 guests plus a child, that’s a total of 5 people for that party yet I was only allowed 2. The stylist did not recommend trying with veils/accessories. My friends were the ones who had to recommend veils/accessories and the stylist seemed annoyed when we asked. I felt rushed when trying on dresses because I wanted to see if I could try on 2 dresses again and the stylist stated we would see if we had time and I had the impression that we were nearing the end of my appointment but when I checked the time I was only halfway done with my appointment time. I definitely will not recommend bhldn to any of my friends with upcoming weddings. Very bad experience and not accommodating. I was able to find my dream dress elsewhere where they provided and amazing bridal experience for my bridal party and I.

Had such an amazing experience at BHLDN. The women are very knowledgeable and truly make it a luxurious experience. We had a private room and they offered us small cans of rose or water. It was also extremely easy to make an appointment, though I do recommend booking a few weeks out if you’re looking for a weekend appointment. I highly recommend!

This store is clean and beautiful! They are taking all of the appropriate COVID precautions, so I felt very safe throughout the entire appointment. My consultant was kind, helpful, but also a lot of fun. I won a contest through BHLDN for a free dress, so I wasnt expecting stellar service (because I wouldnt actually be spending any money at the store), but the girl I worked with was phenomenal. It didnt matter that I wasnt going to be spending money, she gave me the same level of care as any other customer. Highly suggest this store if you are dress shopping!

I traveled from Michigan to Chicago to try on BHLDN dresses. I had an idea of what kind of wedding dress I was looking for but said yes to a completely different dress that my stylist actually picked out for me. Lydia was so sweet and honest. She was straightforward with what style looked best on me which was so beyond helpful. She made the entire experience feel so personal.

We were excited to visit the store to try on dresses in person. I made an appointment weeks in advance and we were happy to follow all of the COVID restrictions and guidelines. However, the sales representative was not at all friendly, barely spoke, didnt provide suggestions/guidance and rushed us out. She gave us a 15 minute warning even though I was already trying on the last dress pulled and was off-putting for the whole appointment. She made a special occasion feel rushed and impersonal. We ended up finishing the one hour appointment early and even though I liked a dress there am hesitant to purchase based on the poor customer service, which seems to align with other reviews.

Purchased a dress for a wedding & unfortunately had to return via mail. The dress was received in the warehouse on January 27th and still waiting for my credit of $271. Be prepared to wait per customer service if you order online & need to return. Would not purchase from them again.

I had a great experience getting my dress from BHLDN. The ladies at the store were so nice and helpful, and even the customer service numbers were helpful when I needed to try two dresses at home. I was very happy with my dress and got so many compliments. They have styles for everyone and at very reasonable prices. I would highly recommend BHLDN to any of my friends looking for their wedding dress.

Expected better from BHLDN. We came up to the door, in the pouring rain, and the sales associate creaked open the door asking us if we had an appointment before letting us in like we were homeless people trying to use their bathroom.After we were “let in” and confirmed we had an appointment, we were rushed the rest of the appointment. The sales girl was un-personable, cold, rude and made us feel like an obligation.Because of their COVID restrictions, or maybe it was just the sales associate, they won’t get near you to measure or adjust your dress with the clips. Don’t expect any personalized customer experience. She didn’t provide any recommended dresses. Plus a lot of the dresses on their floor were not available because they were backordered. The ones that were available, were stained, ripped and dirty.Another corporation taking advantage of the COVID restrictions.We ended up leaving our appointment early because we felt so uncomfortable.

Ive been here a couple times now. Because of their prices and lovely gowns, I went here for my first ever wedding dress appointment. The stylist was patient with me as I tried on different styles to figure out what I liked. We were able to get through a ton of dresses within the 60 minute appointment and she was patient with us when my mom wanted me to re-try a dress at the very end. I decided to make another appointment for when their spring 2020 dresses arrived in January. I worked with another stylist and she was also great! The store is lovely and we had a wonderful experience. Their prices are amazing compared to many other Chicago bridal boutiques, I definitely recommend to brides that are figuring out what style they like as they have a ton of different types of gowns. They also have a ton of beautiful accessories, bridesmaids and mother of bride dresses, and cheaper white dresses and jumpsuits to wear for rehearsal dinner and other bridal events. I highly recommend!Tips - arrive 10-15 minutes early to look through the gowns prior to your appointment so you can spend more time trying on! Also their weekend appointments book up pretty far in advance but you can always find last minute cancellations if youre flexible, just keep an eye on their website.

Went wedding dress shopping here with my best friend and we had a great time. The woman who was helping us knew the catalog like the back of her hand, was friendly, honest, and helped us find the perfect dress. The fitting rooms are well designed, with great lighting and mirrors and a separate dressing area for the bride. We both enjoyed a can of rose while we picked out the dress in which she will walk down the aisle. Great experience!

I bought my dream wedding dress from BLDN, then it went on sale. I called for a price adjustment, which I was denied because I was outside of the 14 day window per their policy. The dress was in stock in my size and I was within the 30 day window of being able to return. I talked to a supervisor who said they could still not get the price match and that I could purchase the gown for a cheaper price and return the one I had (EVEN though it would be the same end result). I purchased the gown and waited a couple days to return the one I had. Then 5 days later I get an email that my order had been cancelled and the dress was out of stock. I again called and spoke with a supervisor to try and intercept the one I returned - which they could not guarantee. Following up a few days later the dress was out of stock and I was told by their customer support to simply, just pick out another dress to buy. This was going to be my wedding dress and I trusted BHLDN because of their superb customer service from Anthropologie, but I was mistaken. I would recommend NOT purchasing your gown from them.

I bought my wedding gown here recently. I tried on dresses at 3 different stores and, by far, had the best experience here. The stylist was professional and had all the dresses that I picked online ready for me to try on. She was patient with me as I tried on different styles and gave great feedback. Also, it wasn’t A pretentious atmosphere and I felt very comfortable. Not to mention the gowns are great quality at a much lower price point. I ordered and received my gown within a weeks time. I plan on making an appointment for styling in the near future. Would highly recommend!

Do not waste your time here as a bride. I went with my mom last weekend with high expectations as I have always been a fan of their collection. The whole appointment felt rushed, bridal consultant was unfriendly and the least personable she could have been. She had picked out dresses ‘from my Pinterest board’ which were long sleeved satin dresses. She said you are getting married in October right? When in fact I’m getting married in August and have never pinned a single long sleeve gown for a summer wedding. Once I told her my actual taste, we found the dresses to be snagged, ripped, and dirty which was such a disappointment. I luckily at least found a robe and a pair of earrings, which was rung up wrong to not reflect the 50% off sale. My mom and I then had to wait outside until someone was leaving the store to let them know the issue after I had already confirmed with the consultant that we had received 50% off for the sale. Poor poor poor experience. Awkward sales staff who didn’t apologize once. Mistakes happen but being personable about it helps. Not one ounce of personality from the staff on the floor which poorly reflects the brand. We will not be coming back and I am sure to let others know that they should not go in either.

I was looking for a jumpsuit for my wedding, and I made an appointment about 2 months ahead of time for a prime Saturday appointment to try on some things. The store itself is beautiful and offers many options for brides of varying budgets. Julie was my stylist for the appointment and I cannot stress how amazing she was. I ordered a few things after my appointment, but I didnt end up finding a perfect jumpsuit since they had very limited inventory. I suspect this is because right now is peak bridal season, but Ill definitely be back.

When you make a bridal appointment, you get your own private room with comfortable seating for everyone joining you. A dedicated consultant asks some questions and has you show her if there are any particular dresses you want to try on.There were lots of dresses under my price point, which is on the lower side for typical bridal. Variety of styles too, including nontraditional options. The only shop Ive been to so far that carries capes. Great experience overall, and I highly recommend.

BHLDN is a great place to look for your wedding dress. The prices are very reasonable; they give you a private room; theres free sparking rose; and the staff are so pleasant and kind. The only reason why I docked a star is because they make it so hard for you to go back for a second viewing. I ended up buying my dress from somewhere else because they had no room for me to try my dress on a second time.

While I didnt end up selecting a dress from BHLDN, we had a great experience. The fitting rooms are absolutely gorgeous. The whole building is gorgeous! I never once felt pressured to purchase a gown from BHLDN and our stylist was great at asking for specific feedback. So much fun!

Im not one to write reviews for places but I had to for BHLDN. BHLDN Chicago gave me the perfect dream bridal experience of shopping for a wedding dress. From the moment you walk through the doors, they make your experience a luxurious one. From choosing a dress to getting it delivered (which I was told it would take 7-10 business days and it only took 4), the whole process was honestly effortless . Dominque was great, patient and shared my excitement with me. I HIGHLY recommend BHLDN to any bride whos looking for a wedding dress with no stress!

Another example of a business taking advantage of the covid situation.Only one person is allowed to be in with the bride to try on a dress.Doesnt matter that my daughter survived cancer and that her 95-year-old mother wanted to be with her and that we drove 2 hours.Even corporate was confused and tried to call the store. (People at corporate were nice)In spite of all of their arrogance, the dresses my daughter tried on were pitted out, stained, buttons missing, and they smelled. So much for the covid excuse..yuk.For what they charge for a dress, we will go someplace else where we will be treated like humans.

WORST place I have ever been to! Would not recommend it to anyone. I brought my 97 year old crippled grandmother and mom and they made me kick one of them out to sit outside because that is their new policy. It literally ruined my first wedding dress experience and I don’t even want to go dress shopping again especially not here.

I had visited a few different BHLDN locations in my quest to figure out my dress situation and while they were all suitable, it was a standard experience; however, the Chicago location far exceeded my expectations because of Anna, she was an absolute dream to work with! Not only was she extremely genuine, hospitable, kind, and gracious, but she went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure everything came together for my big day. I felt completely at ease as we worked through some back-ordered items, she took complete control, was prompt and handled everything seamlessly. Highly recommend this location and ANNA! :)

I was excited to find a dress I liked in my size through BHLDN. I ordered through the website and it told me it would ship the following day. 6 days later I get a notice saying my order had been canceled! I spoke with a supervisor who said there was nothing she could do to help.

I had an AMAING experience at BHLDN Chicago and ultimately bought my dress there. The dressing room suites are absolutely perfect for a private, fun experience with whoever you might bring with you!We worked with Erin, who was an absolute delight. She truly cared about my dress, my experience, and my vision for my wedding. Her calm personality helped me from getting overwhelmed like I had in other bridal appointments.I highly recommend looking at their website before booking your appointment and going on a weeknight. I had to go on a Wednesday night due to availability, but it was SO worth it!

Very kind and helpful stylist and a large collection of affordable dresses! The room was really nice and there were a lot of mix and match options. They were happy to help me try and create the dress I was looking for when one wasnt perfect. I didnt end up getting my dress from here but it was still a great experience!

This place is amazing! I found my wedding dress right away. The dress was sent to my house super fast and the dress that I ordered was the perfect size and I dont need any alterations besides trimming the bottom. We had our own private room and was served champagne at the consultation. Overall I give this place by 5 Stars. I had an awesome experience!!

I love this shop. Everything is beautiful. The garments are very reasonably priced without sacrificing attention to detail or the feel of the gowns. Their accessories range is excellent. And the beat part is the staff are awesome and provide exactly the right type of customer experience. They are enthusiastic, listen to what you want, are open to hearing about other dresses youve tried on in a constructive way (read: not pushy) and look after you from start to finish.

We went right after they reopened to shop for bridesmaid dresses, great experience. Emily was awesome, very helpful advice on sizing and their precautions of distance and cleanliness makes you feel very comfortable.

We worked with Maddy on a busy weekend and it was great! She was so helpful with suggestions and made me feel very comfortable. I love the selection of dresses here and there were multiple dresses I feel were great for me! I did end up finding my dress which made me so happy.We were very overwhelmed and there were so many people when we first came in, but once we were on our private fitting area it was a perfect experience.

I had a styling appointment with Kendall and it was fantastic. We were able to shop both for a rehearsal dress for myself as well as a maid of honor dress for my sister. Im a bride-to-be and was blown away by the amazing experience I had at BHLDN. I made an appointment, but since my wedding is over a year away, I wasnt sure if I would find anything. We got caught in traffic and were a little late, but as soon as we got there, they immediately took us to a fitting room, where they had all the dresses I had said I was interested in ready to go. My stylist, Sam, was wonderful. She helped me into all the dresses and really listened to any feedback I had. As soon as I put on the third dress, I knew it was the one. It was exactly what I wanted. When I showed my bridesmaids and mom, they agreed. My mom even cried. Then Sam picked out the most perfect headpiece and veil and it was a done deal. I got the gown of my dreams and the best part was that it was right in budget. Thank you so much, Sam, and BHLDN for making my dreams come true! I cant wait to wear my beautiful gown on my wedding day!

Awesome experience! We missed our train due to a snow storm and they moved my appointment from 11:30am to 2 pm so I would still be able to try on bridal gowns! Our attendant, Veronica, was so helpful and really made our experience amazing!

I am absolutely not the typical bride in terms of body confidence, wedding plans or excitement levels about shopping, but Lindsay made me feel enormously welcome, extremely well-attended, respected and appreciated as a customer despite my lower budget and non-traditional views.Lindsay was discreet, sweet, genuine and authentically excited to take part in finding a dress that I absolutely love. She asked all the right questions, was quick and responsive, and made sure that I would be happy with my choices at the end of the appointment.The shop itself is lovely and well organized. The entire experience felt extremely positive, special, and unique to my desires for my wedding celebration.An enormous thank you to Lindsay who topped off the wonderful experience with the sweetest note in the mail!!! Customer Service is pretty impossible to get a hold of if youve made an online order. Took 6 days to get a response and now I have returned 2 dresses due to fit, the website doesnt even show one of the orders in my history. Ive sent 2 additional emails and even sat waiting on hold for 35 minutes last night to no avail. I gave up at that point. Pretty ridiculous that its this hard to do business with them.

Beautiful dresses. Personal shopping experience was pretty poor. Filled out dresses I wanted to try on before the appointment and they had none ready, had to waste time telling stylist what I wanted, where the wedding was, etc. and then didnt have time to try on everything I wanted because they ended promptly at the end time (even though the appointment started 15 mins late due to the stylist not coming out and then time wasted figuring out what dresses I wanted)

Such a great experience and beautiful dresses! The Chicago team was nice enough to go out of their way to accommodate me while I was only in town for one night for work. Im glad I went and tried on the dresses I saw online. In person they all looked so beautiful and were of great materials. Emily was my stylist and they had a great room setup for brides to try on. Definitely go if you want to try something different and have a different experience.

I was head over heels for this place and have bought multiple items online. Then, I went to the Chicago store and I have never felt so disrespected in my life. Every single employee looked at me as if I shouldn’t be in the store. I wanted to look at wedding gowns, which they said was fine, but when I asked a question the woman with red hair rudely walked away in the middle of my question. I drove three hours to visit their store and will never buy anything from them again. LEARN TO BE NICE! I’m sure the owners would be upset to know their employees are turning away service.

I had an AMAZING experience with BHLDN. The store was clean and accessible and I took an appointment on a Sunday evening. Every single sales associate who we spoke with was kind and welcoming. Maggie, my consultant, was patient, upbeat, intelligent, and immensely delightful. She went above and beyond in her helpfulness and was willing to work with me (a very insecure bride) and somehow made me feel beautiful. She consistently offered options and continued to amaze me with her knowledge. I felt so comfortable and so wonderfully happy with Maggie. I found my ideal dress.The flexibility of their dresses, cover-ups, skirts, etc was beyond what I had imagined and significantly more affordable than the other two horrible cookie cutter bridal places I had visited before I found my place at BHLDN. I have already recommended this store to three friends and I will continue to do so. They offered me a suggestion for a convenient tailor, who was just as kind, flexible and accommodating. I cannot speak highly enough about Maggie and the whole team I encountered during my experience. Thank you, BHLDN. Shame on girls who dont appreciate the need for policies and forget what it is like to think of anything but themselves.

Affordable wedding dresses. Our consultant was the best! Not commision based, so she wasnt trying to upsale, just wanted my daughter to have a good experience and pick out the perfect dress!

I had a great experience when I visited mid-July! I had the first appointment Wednesday morning with my mom and sister, and we had a great time. We were greeted promptly, and after trying several dresses my consultant pulled a dress I didnt consider, and I fell in love with it! She was super helpful and the dress was a great price. Plus my sister tried on some bridesmaid dresses just to get an idea of different styles. I would highly recommend

Ordered a beautiful dress here. When ordering earrings- the store would not accept the return. I shipped back through USPS using their provided smart label, however the company refuses to give refund because they never received them. After waiting on hold for multiple times, over 30 minutes, staff finally agrees to support refund. 1 hour later an email was received saying it was declined because package was not received.... don’t purchase anything from here if you actually anticipate to have your money back. Return policy is invalid.

Policy clearly states that the return policy is 30 days. However, not all the sizes were available when my wife ordered for a wedding. As a result she ordered a 0 instead of her size 2. 45 days later the size 2 was available in time for the wedding so she ordered. Attempted to work with their customer service to return the size 0 and it was not accepted and they simply kept repeating “I am sorry but that is not our policy”. Would not be flexible even though they were still selling these dresses and had not been worn.They should improve their flexibility for situations such as this.

Found the most unique and perfect dress here! They had exactly what I was looking for and were so friendly and helpful.

My cousins fiancé recommended this place to me and it was an amazing experience. I booked my appointment after finding a dress on their website that I loved. My stylist was so kind and informative. She made observations about each dress for me to think about. I think the thing I liked the most was that the stylist (whose name I wish I could remember at the moment) waited until after I had already made my initial observations to offer hers. She didnt try to push any gowns on me and encouraged me to go with my gut feeling. She even picked out jewelry for me to try on and really get the feel of everything. I highly recommend this place! The prices, staff, and dresses are all fantastic!

LOVE BHLDN! I had a lovely time there with a stylist named Mary. She was so nice, and my mom and I really enjoyed our time there. I found my wedding dress there and it is AMAZING. They are spot on in modern, unique, gorgeous, unforgettable dresses and accessories. Thank you Mary and BHLDN!!!!

I enjoyed my visit at BHLDN. Had to make the appointment well in advance, but it was no problem.The champagne and rooms were wonderful. Very private. However the main room was a zoo when we were there. My stylist was nice and had everything pulled out that I had requested. She seemed a little inexperienced and was somewhat helpful in getting gowns on and off. However she couldnt quite choose the right belt or veil to truly go with the dresses I was trying on. However I was not impressed with the quality of the gowns. Most are a steal of a price though so absolutely worth a visit.Overall, a lovely experience, just not the right fit for me.

Visited BHLDN for a bridal appointment today. We were greeted promptly and directed upstairs to meet with the consultant. She allowed our group to browse the showroom to select dresses, and had already pulled several that had been specified by the bride.We were ushered into a private room with an elegant rustic feel. There was a large velvet couch as well as some additional chairs. The consultant provided champagne while she prepared the dresses.Throughout the appointment the consultant was friendly, personable, and asked questions about the couple and their wedding plans. She provided great insight on accessories when we asked to see them with a dress. There were no tissues in the room, which I needed after seeing the bride in the dress.They were so helpful with the ordering process and we will definately be back for a bridesmaids appointment soon.

We had a great time here looking at wedding dresses! They have very unique styles that will surely make you standout on your wedding day. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would say my only small complaint is that I wish they allotted you more time for your appointment, but I was able to find my dress and cant wait to wear it!

My sister and I had such a great experience here! We worked one on one with someone who helped us pick dresses out to try on! She was so kind and helpful. I was pretty nervous and don’t love the spotlight but she made us feel comfortable right away- we ended up having a lot of fun! I found my wedding dress and my sister found her MOH dress on our first visit and we both love them.We stayed well within our budgets and even had some spare time at the end of our appointment so the women helping us helped style my hair and let me try on some jewelry with the dress for fun.My dress came in the mail a few weeks later. Couldn’t have been easier!

If I didnt need a dress in a pinch for an event this weekend, I would not have purchased even a pantry hose in that store. I had to ask for help. Ask for assistance. Ask for everything. The attendant was snobby and acted if I couldnt afford to shop there. I had to be very stern and direct to get them to even unzip my dress. Do not shop here.

A really nice store with a decent selection is bridal styles and affordable prices. The associate I worked with was very nice and kept me away from things outside my price range. Had several styles that only came in small sizes (size 0-2) annoying that these dresses couldn’t even be tried on. Also, because the store is busy I felt rushed through my appointment.

After going to 14 bridal salons, I was convinced I was never going to find the perfect wedding dress for me. When I went to BHLDN, I was not only able to find my dream wedding dress, but it was an affordable price (under my budget)! My stylist Lindsay made the experience stress-free and enjoyable for me and my Mom. I was even able to make another appointment in order to show my sister and best friends the dress and we celebrated with adorable complimentary champagne in cute individual cans! The dress only took a few weeks to come in the mail once it was ordered. I was able to complete my look by purchasing shoes and a beautiful belt, which both went on sale on the BHLDN website. Overall, such a positive experience and the store is worth checking out even if its for wedding accessories or decor. Just make sure you plan ahead and book your appointment in advance-they fill up quickly!

My experience was a bit underwhelming. I flew out to Chicago specially to go to this shop because there isnt one nearby Minneapolis, and it totally fell short of my expectations. The lady made me feel more self conscious than other places when getting in and out of dresses, and I didnt feel any sort of special. Frankly, it was pretty awkward... And I hadnt feel that way elsewhere. The selection was very limited (and I had brought several photos from scouring their website for weeks in excitement), and she kept bringing me more of the opposite of what I was asking for. I understand were trying on samples during appointments, but several of the items I tried were ripped, had make up stains, holes, etc... Again, I expected it to an extent because theyre samples - but these samples were very worn and it made it that much more difficult for me to visualize myself in it. She just kept disappearing to the back and not bringing in anything else that impressive. I mean, you get what you pay for in quality...I suppose thats why BHLDN is so affordable. I certainly felt like she wasnt feeling the appointment and half way through it - it seemed like she gave up even before I did. I was totally disappointed in my experience. If Im being completely honest, I actually ended up being willing to double my budget elsewhere at Mira down the block because that was an awesome experience. Ive heard good things from other individuals about their experiences at BHLDN... So I dont think its all bad -- my experience just happened to be rather disappointing... Good luck!

This store is a dream. Its beautiful inside and its full of wonderful things. Its not just for brides-to-be, as there are plenty of party dresses and accessories for all!Tip: Be sure to go upstairs and check out the angel wings hanging above. Oh, and dont miss the back room with decor and stationary!

Made an appointment for a Saturday and had to wait 3 months to get in. At the time the appointment was made we were told to pick 4-5 styles and the size that interested us. At the appointment only one of those styles was shown and others were brought in with sizes comparable but not the chosen styles. We fell in love with one dress but when we called to order it the following Monday we were told it was no longer available. We do not live in Chicago but in the state of Michigan so it is not convenient and I feel that this should have been known before we left the stylist.....Extremely disappointed with the service and the stylist......while she was very nice she should have been checking into availability while we were there and the styles we requested in our size should have been waiting at our appointment....pretty haphazard .......A trip and time wasted that could have utilized with someone who was prepared.

Went here for a fitting for my sister and was disappointed. A lot of the gowns looked like they needed to be replaced badly (visibly dirty, makeup/tanner stains, one thing that should have been a button was replaced with a safety pin), three of the dresses my sister wanted to try on were being used in different rooms, the bathroom was out of order so my mom had to go across the street, and the lighting in the fitting rooms was awful (overhead spotlights, nitpicky, but it made all of the dresses and pictures we took look bad). The sparkling rosé was thoughtful though, and the girl who helped us was nice. Love their dresses and online experience, but in store was overall a let-down.

The dresses were so much better than I expected and the ladies were so helpful.

I worked with Michelle and she did a wonderful job. She was patient with me. This was my last appointment for the day so she could tell I was getting tired. She didnt rush me and let me try on as many as I wanted. The dresses were very reasonable in price. The dresses just werent what I was looking for. I had a great experience though.

My wife was looking for a gown for our sons wedding. We had been to several places, but BHLDN had by far the best selection and the most helpful staff. Our sales assistant, Yaara, was fantastic and it truly was because of her that my wife found the perfect gown. We highly recommend BHLDN. Ask for Yaara!

The customer service at this store was incredibly helpful to me.My bridesmaids ordered their dresses through the main BHLDN customer service line, and one of the dress orders was canceled. I was told it was because that size dress was the last one in stock and was no longer in the warehouse. After dealing with frustrations with the main BHLDN customer service line and calling several different BHLDN stores around the country to try and find where this dress was, I ended up reaching Jackie in the Chicago BHLDN.Even though the dress was not actually in the Chicago BHLDN, Jackie went above and beyond in tracking it down- it ended up being in an Anthropologie store somewhere else in the country! I am so grateful that she and the Chicago team took the time to help me resolve this issue. Jackie communicated with me every step of the way, which helped to put my stress at ease. I am sure she had a very frustrating time going on a wild goose chase for this dress, but she was always very helpful and thorough.Thank you again! I am so appreciative of Jackie and of everyone who helped find this dress!

I would not recommend this place to anyone.The dresses you try on are so dirty, and over stretched out that alone made me not like any dresses. I couldn’t get passed how filthy the place is.The girl that was assisting us had no motivation but she was very nice. The dresses she picked for me was not anywhere near my style.I went to 3 other bridal stores and this was the absolute worse place.Don’t waste your time.
