I went to all the well known couture bridal stores in the area and three of them multiple times for the couture trunk shows. I ended up finding my Pronovias wedding dress at LBR and coming back because they had a great selection for their trunk shows, went above and beyond helping me, and were able to schedule me at the last minute to view their selection.The Maria(s) are awesome, super energetic, and all of them were helpful. I also appreciate the questions they asked me while I tried on the dresses to help me see my vision.The dresses they have for the trunk shows are spot on for what you might be looking for.They have such a beautiful selection that at one point I couldnt decide between two of them and I did not feel pressured when determining my decision.I highly encourage anyone looking for their big day dress to check out this store and be on the lookout for when they have trunk shows as well. Also, the accessories and bridesmaid dresses are worth checking out as well. Definitely add this to your Chicago dress shop list!

I went to get my dress during the peak of COVID 19. The LBR staff made my experience both special and safe...AND I found my dream wedding dress! Maria and her team are absolutely incredible and truly put the customer first. Thank you Maria & LBR for making my big day so special and pictures timeless! Great shop with a nice selection of dresses of popular and niche brands-the best part is the personalized staff who really try so hard to make the experience pleasant at every visit. They work with you so kindly in every way with no judgement or airs that so many bridal shops can have. The seamstress is also fantastic and sweet! Cannot recommend this store more, should be on every Chicago brides dress stop!

As someone who works in the wedding industry as a hair stylist I won’t lie, I’ve been a little jaded with this. I was very worried with feeling overwhelmed based off hearing other women’s experience and what I see on tv. THIS COULDNT BE FURTHER FROM THIS. Keturah was my personal stylist. She was so cool and easy going and helpful. It’s so clear she knows what she’s doing. I came in with an open mind and aware of what my body likes and how much I could spend. She literally hit the mark on every level and this was such a pleasant and wonderful experience. I bought my dress off the rack since I am a little more pressed with time and even with that she was so helpful and calming. I am over the moon with the new experience and I truly hope everyone gives this shop a try.

Very awkward experience. Maria helped us and treated us very stiff. Only let my friend try a few dresses and it seemed we werent important. The shop itself was cute, clean, and the dress selection seemed decent but in an industry where customer service and the buying experience matters....I wouldnt recommend this shop. My friend ended up finding her dress the next weekend at another Chicago salon. I felt so bad since I had recommended this shop to her (I drive by regularly and it looked so cute) and then for it to be uncomfortable. My friend said even if she had fallen in love with a dress here she wouldnt have given them the business as it wasnt a positive experience.

I had a fabulous experience at LBR and would highly recommend it! This was the 2nd boutique that I went to in my dress shopping journey and this was where I ended up making a purchase!Keturah was very knowledgeable, nice, & helpful! I tried on about 4-5 dresses, gave my feedback, and Keturah listened to what I said and went back to the rack to find other options. One of her picks was the one I ended up purchasing! It just happened to be an off the rack dress, so it was a double bonus that it was on sale!The off the rack dresses at this store were all in great condition! Sometimes the bargain dresses at bridal boutiques tend to be in pretty rough shape, but I was super excited to find a dress that worked for me that happened to be on sale and was in great condition. There was one very minor rip in the side seam that will be easily fixed in alterations, but otherwise the dress is in fabulous condition.I also really like that they do the alterations right in house, so it will be convenient to go back and forth to the same location and not have to worry about finding a different person to take care of alterations.

I only discovered this place by driving past and I am so happy that I did! It was kind of the last bridal shop I went to before I had to make my decision (I had other top contenders from other bridal salons). Keturah was with me through the entire process and super helpful and attentive to my style and needs. After tying on several styles, she was able to pull one that had all of the elements I was talking about through out my appointment. I got a great price for off the rack and am so excited to wear it for my wedding day! Thanks Keturah! P.S. The shop smells AMAZING and is super clean/ well-kept.

I had a horrible experience at LBR Bridal. I purchased my dress 12 months prior to my wedding date and was told it would take anywhere from 4-6 months to arrive. 6 months after my purchase date and after emailing the store asking for an update with no response back, I called the store to understand what the status of my dress was. It was only then that I was told that the store was unable to locate a tracking number for my dress with the designer. The owner told me that there were likely back-ups due to Covid but I was ONLY told this after calling and emailing the store numerous times. Covid delays are understandable but it should have been the stores responsibility to contact any brides that purchased dresses through them that they could expect delays. The only option/solution the owner offered me was the sample store dress which was 2 sizes too large and would have still costed me my deposit and twice as much in alterations. My wife to be bought a wedding dress from here and it was a off the rack dress. They insinuated they didnt have gowns for people her size and they gave her a size 20 when shes a size 12. They said no refunds or returns and left her stuck with a dress that I now have to pay to be fitted down. AVOID AT ALL COST!

Very glad I didn’t spend my money here. The vibes were really off and the customer service was subpar. My mom and I waited outside in the cold ringing the doorbell and they took their time to let us in. We walked in and it felt like they assumed we didn’t have an appointment as they were very stiff with us at first (we did). They have community slippers that they try to have you put on to walk through the store. Although they did not make us wear them because we didn’t feel comfortable, they could’ve at least had inclusive sizes for women with larger feet. The lady that helped me was okay. She gave me a run down of the store and how it was categorized but as soon as I told her what I was looking to spend, she didn’t put in much effort to assist me. She basically just told me to check the clearance rack if I’m lucky. My mom and I felt uncomfortable like we didn’t belong so we didn’t even want to look around. Thank God I found my dress elsewhere. I ended up spending almost double the amount I told them I was looking to spend because I was treated better, experienced amazing service, and couldn’t resist how beautiful I felt in my dress! I think they are a very chic shop with beautiful gowns but they didn’t make me feel wanted or happy about being there at all.

Honestly cant say enough good things about my experience with LBR! I met with Keturah on a Wednesday afternoon and was the only person in the shop during my appointment. Keturah emailed me a few days before and gave me the rundown of what to expect and asked me to send her a few photos of what I like or share my Pinterest page. When I got there, she had some dresses picked out for me to try and literally the first one I tried on was PERFECT and just like the photos I shared--I was amazed. Keturah helped me try on a few others, even after it was decided the first one couldnt be beat :) . I thought about the dress for about a week and then was pleased to be able to go back and try it on one more time and then said YES to the dress! LBR gives you the whole bridal experience--they help you into and out of the dresses and pick everything out for you. They really make you feel special through the whole process. Overall, my whole experience was great, and everyone at LBR was very great to work with. Would highly recommend!

SHADY SHADY SHADY!For context, I never write reviews for anything, this is my first review on Google actually. I had to warn others though.I had my wedding dress alterations booked (I booked them over a year ago) for a few weeks from now. I got a call this morning that since this is peak bridal season that alterations are only done on Mondays. This would mean Id need to take multiple days off work to go to the city to get this done. Considering peak bridal season is the same time each year, wouldnt they have known this over a year ago when I booked the appointment?When I called back the first time, calling the same number that called me, it was a window company. I then called the number that I had saved in my phone from when I bought the dress and the number was not in service. I then looked on Google and finally got in contact with them.Its a true shame because they carry beautiful dresses, but overall not worth your time or money. Theres many other places that wouldnt do this to the bride so close to the wedding.Very disappointing.

This was the first place I went to, and said yes to the third dress I tried on!! I came in with an idea of what I wanted, and a designer that I vibed with, but with no idea about fit/ how things would actually look on me. Greek Maria (vs. Italian Maria lol) was my stylist and she NAILED my personality, which is not easy to do! I truly thought I was going to be impossible to please, because I wanted a classic/elegant dress, but somehow wanted to add colors/glitter/craziness to my look. Exhaustive searches online showed either one or the other. Maria picked up on my energy as soon as I walked in the door and pulled together a beautiful Eva Lendel elegant dress (Margo dress without the sleeves) THEN ADDED A GLITTER CAPE (Daniel cape only, not the dress). Its so perfect, and really captures my energy perfectly! Thank you so so so much Maria!!!

Wow, where do I even begin?! From the moment we walked in, even after a long, tiring day of trying on several dresses, my experience at LBR was absolutely marvelous. My mom and I had the store to ourselves with Antonila, my LBR assistant. We instantly felt welcomed, getting comfy in some adorable LBR custom slides. Antonila started by explaining the layout of the showroom and asking well-informed questions about my dress shopping experiences thus far, as well as my preferences. She was very attentive and perceptive, quickly understanding my style. Her knowledge about the dresses designers, fits, styles, etc. was evident from the beginning.We pulled several dresses, and she once more knew all the right questions to help me narrow down my selections into a manageable few top choices (after trying on almost the whole store, which Antonila encouraged!). She never made me feel bad for wanting to try on more and more. She actually made the experience, which can be exhausting, super fun and exciting.When it came time to decide--as I knew one of these dresses was the one--Antonila was encouraging, patient, and genuinely vested in helping me find the perfect dress for ME. In the end, I found the one and could not be any happier! She also helped me find the perfect jewlery and veil, which we werent expecting to find that day. All three of us celebrated with a few tears and hugs, and Antonila took some lovely pictures of my mom and me to celebrate the moment. All in all, I cannot recommend LBR enough to future brides! I purchased a dress at another store that didnt work out. With only three months before my wedding, I was panicking about how Id find a new dress quickly enough. My mom found Luxe Bridal Rack on Google and suggested that we look at the off the rack dresses. I wasnt sure what to expect as all the other stores Id been to had to place orders 6+ months in advance. I ended up buying a gorgeous, one of a kind, off the rack dress that I absolutely love. The best part is once I selected the dress, I was immediately able to start the tailoring process IN THE STORE. This is a great advantage Luxe Bridal Rack offers. With other stores I visited, dresses had to be tailored elsewhere, and they werent able to give me suggestions as to where the dress could be tailored. Luxe Bridal Rack is a one stop shop and I am really excited to wear my dress in August!

Would not recommend anyone to purchase from this boutique. This was the most stressful part of my wedding planning process. My dress arrived just shy of two weeks before my wedding. There was no solid communication from the owner or the designer. Imagine two weeks before your wedding - you have no dress and no clear indication of when it will be arriving just a itll be there before the day of your wedding. (like that is helpful?) Its a nightmare for any bride. My dress was promised by the owner, Maria, to arrive in December. It finally came two months later. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. Not worth your time and will cause you a ton of stress in the long run! Also, Calla Blanche has terrible customer service - so Id steer clear of that as well. Best of luck!!

Luxe Bridal Rack was my third spot in my dress hunt, I was beginning to feel really stressed because I had yet to find the dress that once I put it on, I felt the this is the one feeling. My associate, Michela, was amazing. I had a little bit of a large group because my sister in-law also had an appointment before me, and she was just so patient. We had a lot of fun with both of us having our dedicated time to try on dresses. Like I mentioned, I was already feeling stressed and was ready to settle for another dress I felt 80/20 about. Michela asked me questions about what I was looking for, when my wedding was and what I was really looking for and because of that I found my dress! She picked up 4 dresses and the first one I tried one I fell in love. I tried it again after trying on the others and I knew it was the one. I was hangry so went to eat and then returned with no problem to get measured and ordered my dress!! I got to meet the owner, Maria, who talked with me about my dress and also made some suggestions I could tell my sister in-law about. My wedding is in August 2021 and the order said 9 months max, so Im praying everything with COVID wont delay it!!Thank you to Michela at Luxe for being amazing and helping me say yes to the dress 🖤

Luxe was the second shop I went to and then I went to 5 more and ended up coming back and saying YES to the dress I fell in love with here!!! If you dont know where to start, this place is it! Starting off the wedding dress shopping experience can be very overwhelming with so many options, styles, prices ranges, etc. and if you dont know what your are looking for it can be that much harder. That was my case...I was completely going in blind with no research and was really looking for someone to assist me in the process. That is exactly what Maria and her team did. From the second I stepped in, everyone was so welcoming and helpful. They literally let me try on more dresses than I should have ever even been allowed to. At some stores they will limit you, but here this is not the case. They will of course make recommendations, but will never tell you no. Being super indecisive made it harder for me to make my decision, but Maria and her team helped consult me on all variables of each dress. They also have such great eye for design so if you want their honest opinion on what looks best, they will be honest, which you cant get at most bridal boutiques. Their patience, honesty, and support throughout the process is something hard to find these days, so if you are looking for an all around great bridal boutique, this is your place!

My experience with Luxe has been a roller coaster. Nice Inventory Terrible Support & Service for a Bride.In October 2019 I found the dress! Beautiful geometric print, just enough train, but the color was a cream on white, the designer and I both agreed white on white! I pay the deposit for my dress in March 2020. Ample amount of time to alter and have it ready prior to leaving for my 7/4/2020 date.covid. world pandemic. There was going to be an impact on when my dress would come, so when March passed by I completely understood, but I did not hear anything from Luxe. Not a single word from the studio..April passed by still no word.Beginning of May I sent an email:Hello Maria,I would like to connect about the dress I ordered back in October. I understand this is a weird environment, but we are coming up on the 7 month mark and I would like to know the status and what the next steps would be with regards to my dress.I look forward to connecting with you.Two weeks later: No call, no email.I called twice left a voicemail, no call back.Third phone call. I finally connect with Maria. She says my dress did arrive in March, but it was the wrong color, so they sent it back to be fixed, the designer and that they should be getting my dress in white soon.Mid May: I call again, what is the update of the dress?Its been shipped, should take time because of CovidWill you update me?of courseNo update-First week of June: I call again Its in customs, should be here next week. We will be able to get it altered for yourJuly 4th wedding dateSecond Week of June I call again, no answer leave a voicemail.Third week of June: Sales associate leaves a voicemail would like to update you on your dress.June 25th: We have an update! your just was Just Shipped on Sunday, we should get it by the end of next week!I am getting married Next Saturday... do you understand what that means?She quickly calls me back and says she set an appointment for Monday June 28th and that I will have something to wear on my wedding day.The owner is not there the dress they have which is a sample would have to be completely deconstructed in order to make it white, and the sizing of the overall dress is not the same, I am not talking I put a few pounds on in covid, the entire top portion of the garment is different. The first thing that pops into my mind is that this is someone elses dress. The second, there is way too much work that would need to be done in order to get my dress ready by Saturday. I ask them to show me other dresses, something that wont need an entire overhall.I find something that works. They offer to sell me the dress at cost vs suggested retail (400 dollar difference to my original) the dress tag lists the at cost price, which usually indicates this is what the retailer is selling it for, not making an exception which is what the sales associate states.The sales associate tells me she has to forfeit her commission! Considering this individual has been the only person to help me in the last 4 months this does not make sense.Considering my date is 4 days a way I have no choice to use them for alteration. They charge me 450 instead of the typical 600 dollars. I have one chance to get this right and I picked a dress that would require very minimal adjustment, just a shortening and a bustle.Clearly I was lied to multiple times on when my dress was shipped. Now I am scrambling to get a new dress 4 days prior to my date because of lack of communication and multiple errors made by the retailer. This has been an actual nightmare on top of everything else in the world.

I was really excited to visit Luxe Bridal Rack, but from the moment I walked in the door I was incredibly disappointed. The young lady who greeted my mom, sister and I never introduced herself or offered us anything to drink (I understand this is not necessary but when every other bridal salon we visited did offer us something we were slightly disappointed).Please note, there are only a handful of dressing rooms and then one large open area to stand in front of a mirror. If you dont mind being on display to a group other than your own youll be fine.As I started trying on gowns, I realized how inexperienced the sales associate was, which was not fault of her own, but the fault of poor management. We were the only group in the store and there was another sales associate who never offered to help, only peeked her head in and out to look at us a couple of times. Which made us feel so awkward and unimportant.When youre making this big of a purchase its critical to feel confident in the sales associate and the store youre buying from. I found a dress I loved but chose not to buy it from LBR.They do have a nice selection of gowns, but I would not recommend anyone to go to this bridal salon especially when there are so many others in the Chicago area who go out of their way to make you feel comfortable, valued and excited about finding a dress! Dont waste your time!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Maria and the team at Luxe Bridal Rack. They have an amazing selection of beautiful gowns at great prices. This was the first my first shopping experience in the wedding dress hunt and they set the standards very high. I had a total of 4 appointments and ended up picking my dress from LBR. Maria and her team are experienced and make you feel very comfortable. One of my favorite things about Maria that stood out compared to other shops is her honest and warm personality. They are not just trying to sell you a gown, it is more of an emotional experience and they want you to LOVE what you are wearing. I am so happy I found my dress here!

Luxe Bridal Rack is AWESOME! This was the fifth dress shop I visited and it was by far the best experience I had. Even if I hadnt found my dress there (which I did!), Id still highly recommend this shop. They have an absolutely beautiful selection of designer gowns at really reasonable prices. Maria and Jane are incredibly helpful and knowledgable. They seemed to intuitively know what dresses would look good on my body type. They were accommodating, supportive, and never pushy. Im thrilled I gave this place a shot and Ill definitely be recommending it to all of my friends!

I had the best experience at Luxe Bridal Rack - they had such a great mix of traditional & modern dresses, it felt like there was something for everyone. Maria, the owner was helping me through my appointment and she was so great in offering feedback and suggestions. I fell in love with 2 dresses there and she didnt rush at all as I took the time to figure out what I wanted. I ultimately did purchase my dress here and couldnt be happier with what I selected. My mom and sister accompanied me to the appointment and they also commented how great the experience there was. I highly recommend this shop!

I did not have a good time at this bridal store. The attendant had absolutely zero knowledge about any of the dresses. She basically made me feel ashamed for not fitting into the tiny sample sizes that they offer. I left here just feeling very bad about myself.

Very glad I found this store because the stylist Anesha helped me find the dress! I had a tough time deciding between two dresses, one that I knew I loved and one that Anesha picked out for me. They had a phenomenal selection of dresses and a ton that were at or below my price point.Updating this review post-dress alterations: when I came back for dress alterations in June the front of the business was entirely boarded up due to the rioting. There was no mention of this in the reminder email or text so naturally I stood outside confused. I called several times (as Im standing out on the sidewalk holding a very expensive dress) and no one answered. I checked the appointment reminder email and text again to see if I had missed something. I called again with no answer. After standing there for about 5 minutes I started typing up an email to ask how I was supposed to get inside. I finally I received a text message that said please walk to the back as the front of our store is boarded. I expected the woman standing at the back door to apologize for the confusion or for keeping me waiting - instead she didnt say much and I was ushered in to do the alterations with the seamstress. The seamstress is very talented and Im extremely happy with the alterations, but I was very put off by the lack of customer service or even friendliness on behalf of the other woman who was there. At my second alterations appointment in August the same woman was there, and again I felt that her interaction with me lacked the kind of customer service I would expect for such an expensive purchase. If I had to do it over I would have bought my dress from Lovely Bride as the experience there and customer service was much better.

Had an appointment yesterday at Luxe Bridal Rack on Milwuakee Ave in Chicago to go look at wedding dresses with my Mom and we had the BEST experience ever! My consultant was the owner herself and Antonia her assistant,they were both very attentive, responsive and over all completely wonderful! They listened to all of my dress feedback, only gave me dresses within my price range, and helped me pick the dress of my dreams so that I could say Yes to the Dress on my first visit! I am over-the-moon thrilled with how my dress visit went and I would recommend the them to anyone looking to dress shop, and would HIGHLY recommend that any Bride ask to have them as their consultant. Don’t expect to be able to walk around without an appointment. We were told that it’s “disrespectful” to the brides that have an appointment. We basically got asked to leave. I went to a few stores before going to Luxe Bridal, and Keturah was by far the best sale associate I’ve worked with. She was incredibly helpful, and really understood what kind of dress I was looking for. I ended up choosing a Pronovias gown with floor length lace sleeves. 😊 I never felt pressured to pick a dress or push my budget. As a matter of fact, Keturah and Maria both talked me OUT of a dress that was almost double the price because the less pricey dress suited me much better. They were right, and I can’t be more happy with my dress!

My fiancee visited the store 11/3/18 and after her appointment, she was was visibly upset with the experience. Normal disappointment in not finding a dress would be understandable but it was the level, or sheer lack of, professionalism that was the factor.I can only imagine the stress and toil it can take ladies to find a dress for their day, but I can safely assume ladies should be shown and treated with respect, dignity and compassion when being aided by a salesperson or agent when dress shopping. Unfortunately this did not occur here. Understandably, dresses may not fit every type of body, some ladies are bustier, maybe more athletic or any size from 2 to 20 but whatever the case may be, they should not be demeaned at any time! The sales agent kept a constant barrage of negative comments towards my fiancee about her body and this was ultimately what ruined the experience for her.I did call Luxe to speak to a manager, but the person who answered the call refused to put me through to a manger/owner but did say that my fiancee would get a call back. At the time of writing this review, it has been 2 days without a call back. So this shows lack of sincerity and concern for customers. I hope this review is useful to you

Prefacing with this being my first experience bridal shopping for myself. I had an appointment with Jocelyn who was great- very personable and honest and did a great job reading me and how I felt about each dress.The reason for the low rating is due to the manager. After trying on all of the dresses we were inquiring about the final price of a dress and the manager just came off as rude and extremely pushy. She was trying to make it sound like I would regret it forever if I didnt buy the dress that day. I tried chatting with her after taking off the dress one last time and she was just not personable. With the amount of bridal stores in Chicago, I do not recommend wasting your time.

I honestly dont even know where to begin this review...WOW! Let me just say that prior to coming to Luxe Bridal Rack, I had been to a few other salons in Chicago and none of the dresses were exceptionally exciting to me. I absolutely loved the selection at Luxe - there is truly something for everyone at (almost) every price point. They have a selection that is off the rack (for a great discount), and then a more traditional section where you can have the gowns ordered and made exactly for you. I have been to a few off the rack stores, but none of them have been even in the same ballpark as the selection here. There were Berta, Gaila Lahav, and other extremely high end dresses here for a GREAT deal.More so than just the dress selection, the associate I worked with (Keturah), was so knowledgable about the different styles, materials, how they can be altered for your specific style, and more. She also was not in a rush and let me take my time, which was really important to me as some other places just try to get you in and out so quickly. I truly cant say enough good things about Luxe Bridal Rack, and recommend absolutely any bride to come in!!

I set up an appointment for my sister to come to look for dresses at Luxe Bridal Rack -- this appt was the last appointment of 7 that were crammed into a 2 day span b/c my sister was visiting from out of town we had to get them all in quickly ( i say that to say we had been to a lot of stores by the time we visited Luxe so we knew the process thats involved when going to the bridal stores). We arrived a little early for our appointment and just browsed around as this is a fairly small store and they were finishing up 2 other brides. We were really excited b/c a lot of the dresses there were in the style that my sister desired so walking in the door we were excited about the prospects of finding THE DRESS - there was another group there waiting as well and we were told that they took 2 groups at a time we were totally fine with that but the other group seemed upset that we were selecting dresses to try on that they wanted to try on and we overheard them tell their stylist that they wanted to try on a dress that we selected and instead of telling them that they could try on the dress after my sister they pulled the dress out of my sisters room for the other bride to try on. That was warning sign one for us that the trip was going to be disappointing b/c if we selected the dress first then my sister should of been able to try the dress on and THEN the other bride not the other way around...my sister had roughly 8 - 10 gowns that we had selected for her to try on but after trying on 2 dresses she let us know that would be it b/c the other dresses werent her size and she wasnt even permitted to try them on. My sister is a size 10 and from ALL of the other shops we went to that day they mentioned the average sample size dress is a 6 to a 8 so the average woman would not be able to fit the samples in a wedding dress store but at EVERY other store that we went to my sister was able to at least try the dress on so she can get an idea if she liked it or not -- at other dress stores if it was too small they may just put a panel of fabric in the back or clamp it so it can give you the idea of how the dress would look altered to your shape and size. To not even let her try the dresses on makes it seem that Luxe Bridal only caters to women of a certain size and if you dont fit that mold you arent welcomed at this boutique...then to top it all off of the two dresses she did try on the stylist kept asking so do you like this dress over the other dresses you saw today (she literally asked us that like 10 times at least) when my sister was honest and said she was leaning towards another dress at another store she seemed to shut down and we could tell that our appt was over -- we were there about 20 minutes of our appt time and would never go back. in the bridal industry you should make your brides feel welcomed, and beautiful but at this store we did not get that experience

The selection here is amazing! Every designer I dreamed of wearing was available either off the rack or for re order in my size. The staff was super knowledgable and went thru the details of every gown with my mom and I. I ultimately said yes to the dress to an Inbal Dror gown and I cannot wait to wear it. Thank you LBR!

Found my wedding gown at LBR Chicago. It was a breeze scheduling appointments and keeping in contact with them. They had a great selection and really listened to me when I told then what I was comfortable with for my body type. I also used them for my alterations and have zero complaints - great job!
