Love this quirky local coffee shop with its purposefully over-the-top eclectic decor (including Bridgeport neighborhood memorabilia and jackalope art everywhere!) and handwritten menu boards. Seasonal specials are creative, food is tasty, and staff is friendly. Kid and dog friendly spot with sidewalk seating in addition to connected inside rooms.

I’m from out of town but come to Chicago to visit friends pretty frequently. I always love coming to Jackalope - great outside seating, friendly staff. Good coffee and their food is awesome too. Great to check out if you’re in the area!

Pretty good drinks and food. The barista want really nice or friendly, but they made a good drink. Couldnt find their drink special until after I ordered because its hidden in a corner.

It was wonderful. I went with my significant other who is vegan and what she wanted wasn’t strictly vegan. So the workers at the time made it vegan by making a fresh brew. Super appreciative of that. Unfortunately I didn’t get their names but thank you!

So awesome for a small neighborhood Coffeehouse that stayed TRUE to their funk! The music, hard rock, multiple tea options, baked goods, sandwiches and coffee is EXCELLENT (My soy mocha was the BEST Ive had this year!) Best Chai Latte in town, which is not so sweet. Very friendly people, great coffee and tea, tasty sandwiches in a casual and themed ambience. All decorations are themed around the Jackalope, the mystical rabbit with antlers.

Great local coffeeshop. Couple of new vegan/vegetarian friendly sandwiches. Good coffee drinks that are extra unique and a nice seating area. This place is always popular.

This place is great. The prices are fair for coffee and food. The vibe and look makes it so chill. I recommend the dirty ho hot/cold coffee drink.

Cool ambiance with reasonable prices. Large selection of coffees and tea. I enjoyed the dirty ho😆. The horchata with espresso was a yummy combo. The few times Ive been here it has been busy, but with a few quiet spots in the corner still.

Both my mates are pleased and loved the moment while enjoying the taste of the coffee. For me, this is the spot where you can stay with your friends or have a cup for a busy day. This position is perfect because it was so close to our house. They have a very welcoming and lovely team here, too. You have to try!

My favourite café in Bridgeport! Small but cute, this place is ideal for a quiet date, reading or working. The menu is amazing- both drinks and food. They have a mythical creatures themed sandwich selection that you should try. Also available- WiFi, printer, books and board games. Jackalope is the kind of place you keep coming back to.

Good food, coffee, and the crew weren’t overtly hostile like at other coffee houses. Even had Marxist propaganda scattered about. 10/10. Would spend fiat currency here again.

This coffee shop is wonderful. Its authenticity is clear and unique, and it feels homey. Their coffee drinks are wonderful, and a great spot to sit and read, chat, or do some work. I am very glad my friend brought me here.

Gorgeous space for reading and chilling, 3/5 whole milk lattes.Crew is friendly and the spot is unique. They dont carry almond milk thats barista blend by Pacific or Califa. The espresso could use a little bit of work so can the steaming of the milk.Will return to hang but may skip on the latte next time.

Freaking awesome place. Great cold brews, lattes, teas, and blended drinks. Its been a couple of years since my last visit and their quality is just as good. Great atmosphere too with ample seating inside and a few spots outside on a quiet street.

This place has a great atmosphere and scenery. This place is very calming and a great cafe to grab a small dish, a unique cup of coffee, and just sit down and draw. My favorite sandwich here is the signature Jackalope. There is amazing art on display the walls along other items like a Jackalope head on display. One of my favorite locations in Bridgeport and one of my favorite cafes in Chicago.

Glad these guys are going strong through the pandemic here. Espresso has been on point each of my last many visits, everythings been clean and safe. Indoor seating just reopened with more than adequate distance set up.

Cute fun environment. Has a punkish artistic vibe. Good selection of breakfast sandwiches. I always get the Chimera. They had tables outside when it was nice out but sadly now you cant hang out there because..COVID. I look forward to hanging there when circumstances allow.

This place is AMAZING. The best coffee I have ever had. The rose latte tastes exactly like a rose, flavorful and the aroma as well! And the Brad Pitt! My God. The sweetness of the coffee is perfect and the taste of that foam is perfection. My mom and I loved it here and we will definitely return.

The frozen mocha was simply amazing. Just the right balance to it. The sandwiches all looked amazing and the interior was nice.

One of my favorite places to study in the city! Coffee is slightly more than I would prefer to pay but they do a free refill. The food options are varied and amazing. Printing access. Gender neutral bathroom. Knowledgeable staff. Decent access to outlets. Very spacious and great lighting. Street parking right in front if you can get it. No complaints.

How have you not gone here yet? This place is dabomb.com. The decor makes you feel like youre in a cozy nook of the house that snatched Hanzel and Grettle. The sandwiches are straight money and those donuts make me forget I was there for coffee.

Recently re-opened with COVID proofing measures in place. Staff was masked and gloved, there were plastic dividers in place at checkout, and marked out spaces to wait in line. Some seating outside for those with time.Great staff, always super friendly and helpful. Please support local businesses!

The food and atmosphere of the place is great! Seemed like a place where most people could just sit down and work or read a book. Loved the creative names to their items and really enjoyed the Centaur.

Accessible outlets, great friendly staff every time I come in, & an awesome environment.Honestly, coffee prices are pretty standard compared to chain coffee shops, so I don’t mind giving my money to this place! The breakfast sandwiches are at a great price and always delicious.

The coffee is hit or miss. Sometimes its really good and sometimes tastes watery to me. I recently ordered the soup. It was okay. A little salty but tasty. The crackers though! Super super stale. Disappointing.

I’ve been coming here since it opened. I wrote my graduate school applications here while drinking coffee! I love the ambiance - art covers the wall and everyone is super friendly. Oh and the seasonal drinks are awesome :)

Fun hidden gem in Bridgeport with one-of-a-kind mugs, fun furniture, and a good variety of both typical and out of the box drinks and sandwiches. Ive loved everything Ive tried. The staff is friendly and great at what they do. Only con is that it gets super busy because everyone wants to hang out there, but I guess thats not really a con. :)

Jackalope Coffee is a quirky cafe in Bridgeport (south of Chinatown). The outside (and inside) are decorated with bright murals and paintings.Its a large cafe (two dining areas and outdoor seating) that serves coffee all day and breakfast and lunch. For breakfast, order a latte and two chocolate chip croissants. They are from nearby Bridgeport Bakery and perfectly warm in the mornings.If you want a unique coffee shop experience with good food, go here!

Good coffee, delicious hot pressed sandwiches with a cozy, alt-underground vibe. Also worth noting, the people who work here are authentic, friendly and refreshingly unpretentious.*BONUS* This place is dog friendly! They keep complimentary treats at the counter, so my dogs are always super excited when we come here.Did I also mention maple bacon donuts? Nom.

I love taking my dog here on Saturday to get my cold brew and a treat for the pup.

The staff here was extremely kind and helpful! (Not at all what id expect from such a busy place) The store is a little small, but I was able to find a spot comfortably and stick around without pressure from others about finding a seat. Although it is a bit pricier than other coffee stores, they are serving genuine coffee, so you are paying for the quality. I will definitely stop by whenever I am nearby!!

Best local spot for way more than coffee.

Ive been here twice for brunch because the location/view is lovely. But the food isnt anything special and their teas are overpriced. The French toast is simple but the maple syrup is delicious. The truffle eggs on avocado isnt anything special. The mimosas are tasty.I would come here for the view but not for their brunch menu.

I loved it! Great environment. The food is amazing. The shop has so much personality like the people who go there too. The employees are very nice and even offer free soup to the costumers! Never have I seen that at a place. I highly recommend it.
