My first time having ché and it was awesome! I enjoyed it so much 😍 I got #2 and my friend got #6. My friend is viet and she said it was good too. The size was bigger than I expected because the cups are actually wider than standard cups. They didn’t skimp on the toppings! It was a textural adventure and very refreshing. I would totally go back! The service was also really quick.Good thing to note though is they strictly close at 8PM - some people tried to get an order in as they were closing but they said they closed, no more orders. So make sure to give yourself like 5-10 minutes before they close!

!! The WORST customer service !!Five times I have been repeatedly provided the wrong dessert. I try to give people a fair opportunity to redeem themselves however after such rudeness the cashier has zero interpersonal skills and lacks respect for the patrons politely correcting her mistakes. Zero rating for this business :(

Lots of options which was great. I just had a tea very basic, could have made at home. The girl in the back making the drinks should have been up front her customer service was GREAT!

Best bubble tea place in town!!! We probably tried most of their items on the menu! We love smashed avocado, che #2, and the kids always go for bubble teas! Everything on the menu is good except coffee which I am not a fan. They are pretty quick with the order and they offer rewards/discounts for frequent customers which sometimes we get free stuff such as che or bubble teas!

I really liked my quick visit here. I enjoyed their taro lover dessert drink. It has variety of drink options for people who have a dairy-free diet. On the weekends, the best time frame to visit is between 2-4pm. Overall, I recommend this as one of the places for dessert drinks.

I like the Vietnamese Sea Foam iced coffee. I want to try ALL their delicious looking drinks and desserts. Homemade soy yogurt!! Price is comparable to Starbucks... maybe a little less on some drinks.Cozy place with a couple of tables.

Absolutely favorite place for desserts and boba. They always surprise me with how good the drinks are. I especially love Che Flan. They have all the drinks that can go with my moods lol. Salty, sweet, sour, bitter, chewy, crunchy, etc you say it, they have them all.

Bambu has alot of good drinks but them doing this tho- it was 7:52 when I called and they said I could arrive in 5 minutes and when we came it was about 7:57 and I came in and they said they were closed when there were 5 people sitting there and people were ordering and it wouldve been better if they just said on the phone that we couldnt come because they were busy or just werent accepting customers that way I didnt have to come and no buy anything and when we called again they picked up and ended the call.

I used to go here with my mom and sister for the Vietnamese desserts and their drinks. They were great when they first open, but they completely went down with customer service (to the girl that gave me a rude look cause I asked her question and how she judge me on how I was paying) and their desserts and drinks are horrible. I recommend going to other place.

This is my favorite place to go to for fruit drinks. I always order #6--lots of fruits and very refreshing.There are other drinks there that I should try next time but I always gravitate to#6.

Unique place in Chicago to get a taste of the most delicious vietnamese cuisine deserts. Its also located in the Vietnamese area of chicago - the argyle uptown corner. Lots of other restaurants and food stores around there to try out. Beautiful!!

I ordered the #11 Coconut Combo. Definitely different than anything Ive had and I am adventurous when it comes to food. Very fresh and delicious! They seem to serve very elaborate fruit drinks, Vietnamese style. Very fresh and tasty ingredients. I will eat here again and recommend for those with wiser pallettes.

Went to this place with a lot of expectation and Tried the Bambu combo ché. Nothing out of the extraordinary. Might try some of their other boba and change my mind. But my first visit was a little disappointing!

The Che here is excellent and the staff was very friendly and accommodating for someone like me who was allergic to coconut.Everything tastes fresh and great and I will be bookmarking this spot to visit again.

The reason that I am giving it 4 stars is because I did not like my todays experience. I usually drink mango smoothie with grass and pandan jelly. I drank mango milk tea today and did not like it. May be because I am not a big fan of teas. However I would like to go again but either for smoothie or desert or may be yogurt. They have nice toppings i specially like grass jelly. Thinking to get tapioca next time.

BAMBU is a staple where Im from in the Eastern suburbs of LA and I was surprised (and delighted!) they decided to open up a location in Chicago.Their Vietnamese che drinks are extraordinary, refreshing, and a perfect after-dinner complement when dining in Argyle. If I had to recommend one to try for those a bit unfamiliar with Vietnamese desserts, Id go with #10 (Bambu Favorite), #6 (Fruit Addict), or #1 (Bambu Special). The other ones are great, too, but may be a bit overwhelming if the flavors youre unfamiliar with the flavors/ingredients used.

I have been to this place multiple times. Liked the Vietnamese Coffee, its a little on the sweeter side by default. Let them know about your required amount of sugar. Love the ambience, we have spent hours playing board games inside the cafe. They even have a small conference room for customers!

Great variety of iced Vietnamese smoothies and che. Card is also taken unlike Kung Fu Tea across the street.

Boba tea is just the tip of the iceberg, I have never had Macaroons that good outside of France. Service is quick and precise, be patient if there’s a language barrier, masks and plexiglass shields make things harder on both sides.

I stopped here after grabbing dinner at one of the nearby Vietnamese Pho Restaurants. I ordered a Thai Tea with the tapioca pearls. It was good, the pearls werent as firm as I usually like them. But the drink was definitely solid. Its worth checking out when in the area

Che is the dessert I never knew I always wanted. Ever if you arent usually an adventurous eater, try this. You will love it. The Taro Lover and the Fruit Addict are my favorites.

At first, when I came the store was good and excellent, but today I came, their milk tea was not good. I ordered two milk tea, Thai milk tea and a regular one. The thai milk tea is good and excellent, but the regular milk tea has no sugar or anything. I think it is because the place is crowded and they are rushing with their drinks. Overall, their milk tea is good, but today, I was disappointed.

Being a beverage store, it’s difficult to comprehend when your order for delivery does not come with straws. Like how are you going to drink your milk tea with boba? Geez.

The food and drinks are great, but they need to smile more when they talked to customers.

Consistently awful, I’ve been here 3 times and each time their tea is oversteeped and their boba mushy enough to just disintegrate in your mouth. I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt, but goodness, I regret ever time I’ve gone there. Bitter and gross.

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE = BAD FOOD!!! The employee named Kelly Nguyen was NOT very kind. My order was very clear and yet she messed up my order TWICE! I am SO dissapointed in the customer service at bambu! Also, to the manager, I hope you fix your customer service or else you will continue to lose customers.

Delicious drinks. I love Vietnamese desserts because you could have mung beans, red beans, white beans, taro root, peanuts or lotus seeds in it depends on your choice--> these ingredients serve a purpose and you could get some protein in your desserts.They have the savory crispy rice puff snack too.

The drinks and macaros are great. Employees are friendly. Just 1 problem. The dam kid with the yellow and red hair keeps touching his hair and nose and continues to touch the macarons with the same hand. Even if he was wearing gloves, he was still touching his hair, nose, and ear and continued to touch the macarons. This kid behind the counter is filthy af. Every other employees Ive seen there are nice and clean.

I love this place. It become my favorite dessert shop. Number 5 smash avocado and number 10 che are the bomb. Definitely recommend this place to anyone who want to satisfy their sweet tooth.

The food and drinks were awsome but the person that was there refused to serve me I had to argue that I was waiting to be served. After that I sent my niece. Sometimes I get a bad reaction due to my wheelchair. I understand its a cultural thing. However the second time my niece went to order she said she wouldnt make another waffle.

This place is Great!! The people are friendly. The place is very clean and the ingredients are so fresh. There is so much variety. I love the little red bobas? (with the crunchy center). Refreshing and not too sweet treat.

Amazing place, would recommend. My friend is allergic to any type of dairy and when they accidentally made my friends drink with milk they apologized and gave us another drink without it. Handled the accident very well, versus the many other boba places we visited.

I go there a lot and I order the same drink but the cashier girl was so rude to me. She give me the wrong drink and I told her it wasnt my drink. She wouldnt listen to me at all she keep telling me I got it wrong. She keep making it seem like it was my fault. She didnt even say that she was sorry to me. Plus she didnt change my drink and keep telling me that it was mine. She was pretty much being rude and screaming at me. I had to pay too. I dont know her name but she have brown hair with a loud voice. When she call the order out. Never going back there again. P.S. you just lost 50 costumers in one order girl. Good job. 👏👏👏👏 I am never going to take or tell my costumers about you guy again.

Joy Yees WHO?!? This place is phenomenal, I love all the selections and how everything tasted so fresh. I tried the Taro Lover and the Fruit Addict and they are both amazing. The taro was bomb and not that sweet which I love! If they had a location in Chinatown, I would choose Bambu over Joy yees any day.

Huge variety in drinks/dessert cups for a decent price. When I come here it just takes me back to my childhood. Mix of familiar bubble teas and unfamiliar but delicious vietnamese desserts. This is a great mainstream store for what usually is local families making them at home and selling them at asian groceries.

Best avocado smoothie Ive ever had!! Im sure everything else is good but Im hooked on the avocado.

They have both che, coffees, and bubble teas for about average pricing ($4-6). They have a couple tables and chairs good for a quick drink with family/friends. They also have maccarons I think and other little snacks but theyre kind of pricey.

First boba drink Ive ever had, and I have to say it was pretty fantastic! I ordered the Lychee smoothie with mango boba, and it was absolutely refreshing! This place was crowded on a Sunday afternoon, so be prepared to wait, but I think its definitely worth the wait.

Chè is the best sweet dessert in town in its price range. Around $5, customers could have an authentic Vietnamese, tasty, colorful, and flavorful dessert. It could include something as simple as mung bean, taro, lychee, jackfruit to herbal jelly, pandan jelly, tapioca, basil seed, longan, and lots of other sweet ingredients dipped in creamy, smooth, delicious coconut milk. Fragrant, tasty and balanced. I would strongly recommend number 5, Smashed Avocado for an avocado lover, number 6 for tropical fruit addict, and my most favorite number 10. Besides, they also have boba tea, which I personally think that the best, chewy texture pearl I have ever had. They also have real-fruit smoothies, French macarons, and some Vietnamese dry food varies in store. Worth the price.
