This place is pretty good. Great concept of deep dish cookies but theyre really just in a cupcake form technically. Mine were slightly overcooked and crispy whereas I like a good gooey cookie. Great flavor though.

Best desserts in town! I moved to the area recently and Cookie Spin has become my go-to place for dessert. They offer a large selection of creative cookies and shakes for your every mood. My personal favorite is the brownie with oreo ice cream, delicious! Their service is always great, I’ve felt that they go above and beyond to cater my needs and make it an enjoyable experience every time, even when they’re crazy busy. Also, their patio is perfect for a summer night hangout. I highly recommend this place!

I ordered The gluten free chocolate chip cookie. I spoke to one of their representatives on the phone who told me the cookie only had butter which I don’t usually react to, They told me it had no dairy minus butter and yet the chocolate chips had milk in them. They were milk chocolate. I have a severe immune disorder and food allergies and whenever I have milk I get extremely sick and get an extremely large histamine response. I’m so sick to my stomach and nearly threw up last night. I ought to take legal action, Because now I’m sick I was lied to by their representative last night.what a joke, DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! Don’t give liars who don’t care about the safety of their customers money.

The cookies seem cool but the prices are outrageous I mean how different can cookies get. No offense but your paying 15 dollars for 6 cookies the size of mini mini mini muffins.

They all taste the same, each one just has a different topping but the cookie itself taste the same as the rest and they aren’t warmed up.

The cookie was pretty good, but the customer service was awful.There is no sign to indicate that eating your cookie in the restaurant is currently prohibited. There are inviting counters by that window that look open for dining, and the first server who took our order even offered to heat the cookie and provide us utensils so we could eat it immediately, which I took to mean in the restaurant.As soon as our cookie was delivered, we moved to the window and started eating. The second server, without looking up from her computer, snarled loudly at us from across the room, You cant eat in here!. I turned around because I wasnt sure if she was talking to me, and she snarled more loudly, I said you cant eat in here.I treat my dog with more courtesy than she treated me. Im fully supportive of not allowing customers to dine in, but I do believe that you need to put up a sign. Even absent a sign, she could have courteously asked us to move outside, and we would have gladly obliged. I guess whatever she was looking at on her computer was more important than treating her customers politely.Eating a cookie on a Saturday night should be a treat. Part of what makes it a treat is pleasant service. I wont return to this place.

I ordered 9 Deepdish Cookies and Oreo Shakes from this place via Ubereats for $25.Their Cookies are super delicious and soft.The Oreo Shake is not that sweet and good. I love that they wrap plastic around my cup and straw during the pandemic. Very thoughtful!They made it super fast even though its almost closing time at night.Totally recommended 👍

The concept is interesting deep dish cookie and the menu is robust. Helpful staff that can explain everything on the menu.The reason for 3 stars was the actual cookie itself was average. Granted we did go in the evening, the cookie did not have that warm go-oey fresh out of the oven taste which is expected at a gourmet cookie place. It almost tasted more like a packaged cookie is the easiest way to explain it.Worth giving a try but set your expectations

Overall decent local dessert place. I got the cookie/brownie and ice cream combo. Little disappointed that the cookie was barely warmed up- looked like they just warmed it up in a microwave. Ice cream is okay - standard grocery store stuff.You definitely need to invest in proper utensils. Very difficult to have this with cheap plastic forks. Not to mention it’s not environmentally friendly- get with the times!

Ordered Nutella milkshake got vanilla one and it tasted terrible. please train your employees how to make proper milkshakes, not to tell customer to put masks over the nose if you are going to charge 10$ for it

I came here on a Wednesday evening, at approximately 8pm and three guys were working at the front . Not one single one of them bothered to greet me and my friend upon entering and did not take our order for about 3 minutes or so while standing there. Bad customer service! They seemed pretty busy with take out orders and a bit overwhelmed, but still take care of your customers no matter what. The shakes were good though! I’ll give them another try.

I really wanted to love this place. When you go in, everything is darling—the decor, the murals, all of it. The staff was super nice and helpful. We got one ice cream shake and the box of six small deep dish cookies. The ice cream was delicious, so I might return for that. But I could not have been more disappointed by the cookies! Which is so sad. They were dense and dry. We heated them in the oven like the recommend and they find the get any softer. I love sweets, and I barely had a bite of each. I don’t know what they need to do differently, but the consistency was so bad it was like they’d been stale for days. I’m so bummed!

My first experience in Chicago was heightened by coming across this gem. We were lucky enough to be served by the owner, who was kind, genuine, and obviously cared about his business. The deep-dish cookies were delicious. They had the consistency of muffins. The shake was smooth and creamy. Hopefully someday we will see this place in Minneapolis.

Very creative! Overwhelming number of cookies, ice cream flavors, sauces, and toppings! (Order a cookie sundae at your own risk!) Luckily they let you sample the ice cream. It took us 5-10 minutes to decide.My wife, our friend, and I each got the “large” sundaes, which was a mistake since we had filling dinners beforehand. (The cookie size is very deceiving when you look at them behind the glass.) It was an enormous amount of dessert, which did not sit particularly well after finishing it - which 2/3 of us did. The small sundae would have been the right size.The ice cream itself was excellent, sourced from Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream. However, the ice cream and sauces mostly obscured the flavor of the cookies. Their consistency is also a bit more like a cupcake in the middle, but it’s hard to say since we did not eat the cookies on their own.Next time, we’ll get the two separately so we can enjoy the ice cream and try the cookies individually. We’ll probably go with the flight of cookies (four small ones plus an ice cream scoop) to sample more flavors. As of now, Cookie Spin seems comparable to Insomnia Cookies, with better ice cream flavors, worse cookies, larger portions, and comparably high costs.UPDATE: After trying the cookies on their own, they aren’t anything particularly special. While the flavors are original, the consistency is off, with hard outsides and too fluffy centers. Of the cookies we tried on their own, the ultimate peanut butter was boring, the cookie inception and nutella were decent, and the Oreo salted caramel brownie was good. None were as dense or flavorful as we felt a cookie should be. The sundaes are AMAZING. I live a healthy lifestyle but whenever I want to go all in, this hits the spot. What a perfect balance of a cookie and brownie-like treat with ice cream and candy toppings. It truly deserves an award or something, just wow. I do wish they’d keep the ice cream on top of the sundae like they did pre pandemic but it’s still good!

I love their shakes and was glad to find that they offer gluten free options. However, the cookies themselves are rather dry. They dont really taste like cookies, more like dense muffins.

Ordered the cookie sundae, and it just wasnt really much of a dessert. The cookie wasnt sweet at all, and was not even remotely warm. My fiance and I honestly took a few bites and threw the rest away.I wouldnt stop back here again.

The manager/owner there has bad attitude and was real snappy. He also was rude to the delivery drivers there asking to pick up their orders. Go elsewhere. rude staff as well.

Fun dessert place that has lots of unique cookie/muffin sort of things with ice cream and sundae toppings. They also do milkshakes and have good custom coffee. They seemed short staffed when we went in (although we were a larger group near closing time) and had a couple people in line before us so it might have just been very bad timing.

Joe is the BEST!!! Highly recommend this dessert spot. His creativity and engaging personality just make the desserts taste that much better. He always makes a point to celebrate my birthday when I come by and that is appreciated. The cookie dough is my favorite in the city!

This is my new favorite dessert place! They use Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream (the best and creamiest ice cream in the Midwest) and their shakes are amazing. Its super cute on the inside, and theres a few patio style seats outside.

The cookies are VERY thick and cakey, sometimes almost dry but always delicious. They are extremely filling and decadent but also have a great price for their quality. I get these delivered any time I want to feel fancy at home but don’t want to bake myself!

Usually come here to pick up Uber Eats orders . They are quick to get the order out which is great for us ! I also come here to get the Ultimate Oreo ice cream occasionally. It’s delicious 🤤 and accompanied with friendly service. You can’t go wrong here :) .

I finally tried these cookies after much anticipation. I was a little let down, while the cookies are thick, they are just average, nothing special. I expected them to be very rich, moist, and gooey, but they were actually a bit dry. Overall a decent cookie, but they dont stand out.

Deep dish cookies! I tried 4 different flavors. None of them were overly sweet- obviously you want your cookies to be sweet but these dont leave you with an over-sugared feeling. Though I do have a high sugar tolerance😊. They will warm up your order for you! Whats not to love?

Beautiful array of cookies. Each one is nicely decorated with toppings that indicate their flavor. Extremely disappointed to find out that each cookie tastes exactly the same. The only differences are the toppings.

I probably won’t go back because it was very expensive. The cookies were extremely dry, and all you tasted was straight sugar. The triple inception shake had wayyy more cookie dough balls than the actual shake. It was not worth it. I got two “large” cookies and a milkshake for $23. Was not worth it. The staff is the only thing good. She was extremely polite, and took care of our order as fast as she could.

The tasty, inventive cookies here resemble cupcakes that have been compressed to be shorter and denser. My favorite flavor is salted caramel Oreo brownie. Runner-up would be ultimate peanut butter. The specials can be interesting, too. Very hard to choose just one per visit.

There aren’t many places I give a 5 Star rating to, but this place has always had friendly service and great quality. The cookies are a bit over-priced but that happens with warranted quality.

Writing this review for the GF cookies only. While the restaurant was quite responsive to my phone inquiries about potential allergens and delivered our order in under 30 mins (UberEats), the GF cookies were gag worthy. Theyre advertised as soft and chewy but the small chocolate chip cookies we orderer were hard and chalky. Maybe we got an old batch?
