I ordered the pete’s omelette,hashbrowns with cheese, wheat toast. And an extra side of hashbrowns because I like potatoes. My husband had a sausage omelette with cheese rice and old tasting wheat toast. The hash browns that came with the order was cooked too hard & the extra side of hashbrowns was too greasy!The ham in my omelette (tasted cheap) sausage in both omelette (undercooked)bacon( more fat then meat) However, the rice was good, I’ve never been the type to waste food but I cannot eat this.

Got the ribeye which I was super excited for and I got greeted with these worm like things in my meat I eat a fair amounting steak and have never once seen these kind of whatever you wanna call em in my meatI am not 100% sure what it is butttt I’m pretty sure thassa worm ... my bad... a few worms

Wonderful staff

This is a great place to have to get together with family and friends for breakfast or lunch. Very friendly wait staff and great service. It one of the last Mom and Pop own establishment in the area. The decor is a little outdated but dont let that fool you because what they lack in decor, they make up in great food. Ask for the eggs and grits with turkey links... Its a healthy choice and truely the best!!

I cant comment on the rest of the meals that they serves there because I only get the breakfast every time I go there but there breakfast are so dam good. Everything is perfect and very tasteful. I love there grits. The only complaint that I have is I wish they serve turkey bacon. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Pleasantly surprised. Cash only! Old school breakfast joint that definitely exceeded my expectations. Friendly service, huge omelette (Petes Omelette), and great prices. Oh, and the food tasted great.An older gentleman walked in, slowly..., and sat down, even more slowly.. ordered some food, and they told him to hold his money!!! Wow, Im sold, this place is going to have me coming back until I finish this work project in this area. Thats the type of community support I love to see

Lil small gem, located right by Express way. Fast, friendly and good 🤩. Ive only eaten breakfast but the eggs, to the omelets to the grits were great! I did not like their cornbeef hash, as they fry it so it has a salmon crochet type of consistency. The atmosphere is decent and they have a full bar!

The food here is excellent. From out of town. Came here every day of the week for breakfast. The first day, I had a Greek skillet. Unbelievable! Melts in your mouth! The second day, I ordered Mexican skillet. Even better than the Greek skillet to me. Very nice people, friendly staff. Clean restaurant. Great coffee, what more can you ask for.

I just came from a funeral and my sister birthday on Monday, may she RIP ....I wanted something in my budget and that was gone have my taste buds singing....THIS DELIVERED THE GRILLED PORK CHOPS WERE SEASON TO PERFECTION, I have high blood pressure so I know when things are saltey cause I dont cook with salt....pepper and garlic powder were well blended.....grits was perfect, toast was perfect, orange juice could be in a bigger cup ...but this meal was great

Was looking for a place in Chicago on the way back to Michigan and did NOT regret stopping here. Small local place offering amazingly priced and tasting breakfast, good portions, while also offering lunch items, etc. Service was slow but there was only one waitress. CASH ONLY, however, there was an ATM (thankfully).

Never go to this place..... I had hair in my food and when and while I was confronting management about the issue I noticed a roach crawling on the counter. When I pointed the roach out out we were asked to leave. I will be reporting them ASAP. They told us they just passed inspection but its pretty hard to hide roaches. If there are roaches there are mice!

You know I have come here for years but today was a horrible experience. The waitress outright told us we need to hurry and order as well as hurry and eat. Being the only two customers inside, there was an obvious awkwardness. All the employees stared as if saying hurry up and order... I have had 5 star experiences but this one stands out overall. A lot of food for cheap..sandwiches come with a massive bowl of soup. Reuben looked great and girlfriend said it was great, 1/2 pound burger special was a pre-made patty but was pretty good. Soda pop was canned soda, coke products and also had Faygo cans!

I love this place! Ive been going to this restaurant for well over 12 years now! The best thing on the menu in my opinion is the Petes Omelette . The best bang for you buck!
