Bought a beautiful Epiphone SG last week, dont really know how to play but Im just a beginner. Went to Family Jewelry & Loan to look to see if they had a amplifier, Ive been there a couple times before looking at their guitars. They had a nice Marshall Amp that even had sound effects Nice. Started to play the Amp after the lady behind the counter was nice enough to tell me to use a guitar off the wall. Was a person leaning on the glass counter hanging around all this time commenting on how I dont know how to play guitar and when I was trying to bargain on the price with the cashier lady the person was commenting that I made her do all of this for nothing if I dont buy it.Suggestion: If you let Riff Raff hang around your business interfere with your sales you are going to lose your sales.

Chris was an outstanding help and got me a shipping quote the next day. Took some extra photos I requested and made the deal happen. Family Jewelry and Loan is a great place to get your jewelry fixed. My daughter broke her chain several times, but Family Jewelry and Loan has always fixed it in a good amount of time whenever we came by. They also have interesting items on sale and it’s always good to see the different things they have each time we come by.

Great staff! Pretty nice store with nice items. I went in to sell some jewelry and I am very satisfied with the payment. I definitely did not feel like I was getting ripped off or anything like that. The nice lady assisting me explained the process and how they determine pay-out. The store felt very safe and had a comfortable atmosphere. My tip would be to do your research and have an estimate of what you would like to get for your jewelry. That helps them pinpoint the payout price. Also, dont forget your valid (non-expired) ID! I definitely trust this store and will likely do business here again!

Had a ring on Layaway, I decided I wanted to get something better. I told him what I had to work with and he made it happen. He gave me some really good customer service. Didnt try to hustle me in going over what I had either. Him and that young lady that works with him will help you to the fullest. They good people to do business with. Im a first time customer. Hi there to people that try to come to this pawn shop,I had the worsest experience in coming there.I purchased a Sony tv on Saturday 7-6-19 and I tried going today to see If I would be able to get a loan and I was told by there staff, the tv didn’t seem the same as when they had sold it to me.I am just upset the bald guy that works was making many excuses.this is why I rate yous the worsest pawn shop in Chicago.
