This is the last local hardware store in the neighborhood. I support it every chance I get. Personal, quick, and expert service. I buy all my paint here. They often have items that you just cant find at the big box stores.I highly recommend going to Joe Harris BEFORE heading to the big box stores.

Nice not being in a big box hardware store.

Not particularly welcoming or helpful. This establishment had the look of a local gem. Old, buried deep in a residential area, and carrying with it a faint smell of cigar smoke.Id hoped to match two paints I had on hand but received little to no assistance in doing so. Id love to support local business, but in this case Ill be taking my paint purchase to a brightly lit and friendly Home Depot.

Ill only go somewhere else if Joe Harris doesnt carry it, and they are always willing to refer me to the right place to get what I need if this is the case. Joe and Bill are very knowledgeable, friendly, and look out for their customers. This is the best neighborhood paint and hardware store I have ever encountered!!
