I’m surprised to read bad reviews. I had a great experience, the girl who took my order was very nice and patient with us since we order lots of things . I’ll be back for sure because everything was very tasty !

Its a good place to get something sweet but the wait time is ridiculous. You have to wait almost 2 hr to get something. Wish there would hire more people.

Ice cream tasted great and the portions were huge while the cost was low. Only complaint is the service was super slow. 6 people in front of me took 40 minutes to serve before i was helped. Otherwise, a great place and i recommend visiting.

She had the worst attitude like she was annoyed of us ordering a lot. I asked for a small cup of strawberries for my daughter she said okay then said no i cant sell it to you because my manager “Hellen” is eating here and doesn’t allow me to give strawberries for sale then we asked for a large fruit cocktail with strawberries in it and she said no she can’t againWhen i paid she charged me a dollar extra with out telling me.Im not sure if they do this to get a tip but supper unprofessional. Would not recommend.

Good place wish they had mote staff for bussy days

I love coming here with my family because in my experience their ice cream taste way better than the ice cream trucks and my girls prefer this ice cream ever since we walked in long ago. Due to many people loving to go there, the waiting line can be long but I would recommend for their flavorful ice cream so its worth the wait for a great ice cream cone even when I was pregnant I still thought it was worth it.

Very clean and spacious also have to mention friendly but professional staff. Id recommend

La Michoacana never fails. Excellent snacks! Everything from Elote en vaso tu a torta. Their ice cream selection will.make your mouth water!. My only set back with all locations not just this one is that they lack people attending customers. They can definitely add one more associate but its definently worth the wait!!

I cant believe I lived this long without having a Mangonada! This mango and tamarindo frozen dessert drink is awesome!! We also had the coconut nieve de leche ice cream and it was so fresh and delicious as well. They make everything to order so it takes about 10 minutes but well worth the wait!!

Good Mexican culture and a nice area for kids to sit and watch TV. Fun and colorful! Downside to the 3 stars is the fact that customer service is bad and rude and prices are ridiculous! Better employees and lower prices and more options would make this place so much better!

I like the yogurt and paletas, however I was not aware until I saw my receipt that they charge a service fee for credit card payment, my purchase was over $50 and was charged over $2.00 in service fee, will be paying cash next time.

This place has delicious treats BUT the lines are ridiculously long. Waited over an hour in line, I observed the workers the entire time, they did not wear gloves once and masks are not worn properly. I will not be coming back to this location.

Ordered for delivery, they forgot an item. When I called to complain (because the order also took more than an hour to arrive (but that’s on the delivery company)) the lady asked me “so?” 😱 I asked her if she could refund me for that item and she said “how can I know you didn’t receive it?” Really? It’s a $2 popsicle why should I lie?! Well anyway, nothing was done about it. Doesn’t matter, but horrible service.

Im shocked at how many negative reviews this place has solely based on its customer service, and yet the owner has failed to resolve the issue. We visited this location 3 days ago, ordered 3 completely different yogurts with different toppings. The employee insisted on us giving her the entire order, when I explained to her that I simply didnt want her to get confused she raised her voice at me demanding to give her my entire order. I proceeded to do so and sure enough she got confused. When I pointed out that she made a mistake, she got EXTREMELY frustrated and told her coworker to take care of us instead. Her coworker then aggressively threw the yogurt in the garbage and asked me in the most rude way what is it that I wanted. So I explained my order to her again. She cut the fruit and brought the cup to my face to show me every time she scooped the fruit in. I couldnt take anymore disrespect so I spoke up. I told her that showing me what shes scooping every time she scooped it was unnecessary and that she was just wasting her time. She then told me that I was a picky, complicated, disrespectful and rude customer. I work in customer service and I know what a picky, complicated customer is. I simply wanted them to get my order right. I would never EVER talk in such way to my customers. These workers need proper training or better yet the owner needs to hire properly trained employees instead. I have been going to this michoacana for 3 years at least once a week and sometimes even more frequently during the summer time. I sadly have to find a new place now since I vowed to never step foot there again. Moral of the story... Do NOT point out if they mess up your order in front of you, they might chew your head off!!!!

THEY ARE SO SLOW

One of the worst experiences I had. Workers do not wear gloves, they fix their masks with their bare hands and don’t wash them. Their yogurt was a bit sour for my taste and the fruit was a bit too ripe.

They need some customer service training. You can not expect everyone to know your menu. If your TV menu worked we wouldnt be asking so many questions.The staff here always have a mean look like they are doing you a favor by preparing the food. They need some better quality service and a constant cleaning of the tables will help too.

These little pink and purple places are popping up everywhere. Its a good spot for different types of ice cream. They have yogurt, corn and a cup, and almost anything you would find from a street vendor that sells ice cream. I like it a lot!

I never go to Michoacana’s... but was in the area and my son wanted ice cream ... but next time I’ll drive 20 min to my job

Prices are a little high and the place needs better customer service. But over all the taste of the items are awesome.

They use no gloves, I called the manager and he didnt seem to care. Dora is very rude to the customers and when I informed the owner he shrugged it. Like it didnt matter. Informed him it wasnt the 1st time shes rude. She said I cant help if thats how I am...... Sure guys ice cream is good but never going there AGAIN. Other places offer better with outstanding customer service. Just saying

Bad customer service. Employees have an attitude problem... they make our Latin race look bad. Ive gotten better treatment in other locations. Wont be returning. We talking about michocana paleteria, YOU WORK IN A ICE CREAM SHOP and you barely speak english cmon! Dont spend your money at this location they dont deserve to be in business. I recommend La Plaza on cicero ave they have better service and the menu is about the same.

This is the second time I go in ordering the big boul of fruit and all of the fruit inside of it is hard! Not any of them are ready to be eaten! Ughhh...such a waste and worst part is that im 2 months pregnant its my craving! Not a pleseant night😭😭

The service it’s very slow but ridiculously slow they only have 2 ladies (not to mean but they worst tan turtles) they talk a lot between them and they are not friendly at all I have been waiting for over 30 min and there were 5 ppl in front of me, and didn’t even bought many items

The hispanic authenticity in this place are amazing but the service tenda to throw you off a bit. Wont say anything negative but everyone knows you can tell what someone is thinking by their body language...and it becomes obvious how the employee feels about serving certain customers. But overall, the food is great. Cant wait to try some more things out!

If I could leave zero stars I would. There’s a pandemic and yet no one was wearing gloves . Also my elote had VERY little mayo like less than a spoonful . They ALWAYS mess up orders .

I experienced a really bad time in this place, one I had ordered a chicharron prepared but it literally looked like a piece of all scrambled foods in it .Second they had bad Costumer service, I would not recommend this place at ALL. This was a terrible spot to go.

Its spacious service takes about 5 to 10 mims when their busy.Good environment.

I’m so dissapointed thinking it was going to be the same as the other Michoacana’s locationsI have to be honest the food is good as always HOWEVER CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. I asked gently if they could please warm up the torta because it was cold and A woman The manager personally told me no it was my problem if it was cold and I told her that’s very rude and she said if I didn’t like the service to go somewhere else they don’t need our presence. I was completely shocked, I been going to la michoacana for almost 5 years now and I usually spend between $60-150 JUST BECAUSE THE FOOD AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS ALWAYS GREAT.FULLERTON LOCATION IS WAY BETTER THE MANAGER IS SO KIND AND WONDERFUL.I’m so disappointed I will never go to laMichoacana again I’m sad but they need to fire that rude manager.This location is on diversey and Austin .

I liked it very much they make very good food I asked for some strawberries with cream it takes a while like 20 to 30 minutes the times I go there are a lot of people but if you are lucky enough to find the store empty it will surely take you less something that I did not like is that the bathrooms are not available I would like us to be able to use them but apart from that there is nothing more to criticize I leave you some photos.

They took me to buy corn in a glass and they also bought me strawberry palette, everything is very good

They occupy efficient people who know how to work and keep the orders in order, I was speaking and they never answer the calls. They have a client and a call to go in order. order by phone and just come to collect. U come from afar so that they do not treat well it is bad I love to come but with people like this, why do I come if they do not attend well, the truth is not to ask me why to put the phone if they never answer, call 15 times and Nobody answers I arrive at the place and he returned to Call and Nobody answers so that they want people like that, they look for workers moved no people who do not know how to work

The workers, especially one of them, takes such bad care of you. He ignores you and is very pushy. So you dont even want to go again. The snow and everything very good but with that attitude. They dont want to go back.

The two girls who are now are very friendly and know how to treat customers, please follow them, since the previous staff starting with the manager was in very bad taste, always in a bad mood, not helpful with customers, now that Im going Im glad see that she is not there and these girls are great and very moved.

They have an unpleasant attitude towards customers. What a bad experience I had today, the attitude of the girls leaves a lot to talk about ... they never let me down, they always behaved, but this time it was very detestable the way they addressed me and what I bought they did it in a bad way .... I do not understand if they do not want to work or do not know how to treat the client so that they are there or because the owner has such misbehaving people ... the ladies argued that they are not paid so well to support people. ...

La Michoacana is a very clean place and with the best quality products, the best thing I enjoy is a good yogurt and the cakes they sell are very good, especially since I like Hawaiian, I recommend them

They sell me 2 ACID orange juices. I ask you for a CAKE! It tells me that the iron is not hot !!!. And we were only 2 clients. I do not return to that place. Very bad attention. And bad fruit.
