I purchased a standard carry-on online, decided I wanted to upgrade to the bigger carry-on with the leather pocket once I looked around in store. Will, my sales associate, was an absolute pleasure to work with. He helped me pick and choose which model was right for me and also helped my wife pick out some smaller goodies for herself as well. And it was just in time before my long, 7 week, work trip. Very pleased with my experience here and will definitely come back when I convince my wife to buy a new suitcase as well. Can’t thank Will enough.

I travel A LOT, so needing an upgrade for my rolling carry on. The staff here was very helpful and patient as I picked out the black carry on. Leave tomorrow for a business trip and looking forward to a real world test. But, since Im already packed up, I at least know the smaller size was the right one for me. The luggage is extremely well built and I love the built in charger. Wish it was a USB-C but still very convenient.

The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and patient. They are not pushy at all and answered all of my questions. While we were there someone came in for warranty service and they were in and out very quickly. I’m very excited about my luggage investment and can’t wait to take it on the road!

The service was amazing! The people working there were so friendly and very knowledgeable! We asked a ton of questions about the luggage, and the life time warranty, and about other products. They answered everything! 👏 My husband and I are very happy with our purchase!

I called the store and spoke with Sydney who went above and beyond to resolve my issue with the battery for my daughter’s suitcase. It was quick and easy and I had a replacement the next day. Thank you Sydney for your exceptional customer service!

I actually bought one online, and then proceeded to lock myself out of my own luggage the same day I got it. (when making the combination be sure to take out the zipper tags). I called the Chicago location and they reassured me that they would be able to help me out. I was in and out of the store in less than 30 minutes, with a replaced and reset lock, for free. Absolutely great service.

I called the Chicago store 1/22/19 at 4:00 pm because I could not get through to customer care. Got the BEST person on the phone, Leslie! HE WAS AWESOME! He was able to apply the promo code that I had forgotten when I ordered my luggage, he took ownership and made it EFFORTLESS! His goal was to make this simple and to have an EXCELLENT customer experience, and he really did, THANKS AGAIN LESLIE FOR A JOB WELL DONE! I will be a forever customer... :)

My girlfriend told me about this luggage so we were thrilled to see they just opened a storefront in the Gold Coast neighborhood of Chicago. The staff was super friendly and helpful as they went through all the features of the luggage. We ended up buying The Medium piece in Navy and the whole check out process was a breeze. As we were paying, someone else from the back was getting our luggage ready to go. They packed it in a nice dust cover and we were on our way. Overall we had a great experience!

I wish that I could write a review around my in-store customer service experience that directly corresponds with the attention to detail Away puts into their wonderful products. My advice to any customer of color, in need of luggage, order online. You wont feel insulted by being ignored for over than 15 min while other guests walk in and are greeted with warmth and appreciation. Secondly, you can get all of your customizations completed as they cant do everything in house. #NotEveryDollarIsValued

Yayyy the Away storefront is here in the Gold Coast neighborhood area of Chicago! The location is on the corner of Cedar and State Street which is right across the street from Velvet Taco and Barnes and Noble. Unlike the popup shop in OHare this is a full service store that you can check out all the pieces and colors for yourself! If its not in stock, or on the way they will take your info down and reach out. The staff is very knowledgeable so if you are curious about the line come in and say hello. I recently took my Bigger Carry On and Everywhere Bag to Belize for my birthday shenanigans.
